I talked to Kim on a Thursday to see if she could bake a cake for our dear friend by Saturday. We wanted a lemon cake because he loves all things lemon & at that point I wasn’t too picky since we were days away. Not only did she say yes, but she baked a delicious cake & added some special touches. She asked a couple of questions about our friend & said she’d make something nice. The results were amazing. Our friend loved his lemon cake with a golf theme & water in the background. Two things he really enjoys. Thank you Kim, for going above & beyond on such short notice. We greatly appreciated it!

I ordered Christmas cookies for clients this year and I cannot tell you how adorable they were!! My clients absolutely loved them. They were so yummy that I wanted to take a few and hide them for myself! Kim was so kind and responsive and I highly recommend her business to anyone looking for delicious sweets. I appreciated the fact that she made recommendations that were just perfect!

Unparalleled customer service! My sister was in town for her birthday and I wanted to send a special birthday treat. Not only did Kim make a beautiful custom cupcake bouquet, but she and her husband delivered them fresh at 10PM! She could have delivered later in the week due to my family's late arrival but she insisted on making it work. I have never experienced such kindness and dedication. And, my sister said the cupcakes were delicious!

Amazing and very delicious sugar free cake for my wife’s 35th birthday. The owners were absolutely delightful and the turn around was perfect. Delicious cakes! Cake shop owner was wonderful to work with. She tailored the cake to the graduation and highlighted the computer science degree. The cake was a wonderful surprise for the graduate and thoroughly enjoyed by all!! Cake shop owner was also kind enough to create two gluten free cupcakes with the yellow/teal highlights for a GF member of our party. These were also delicious! Would highly recommend this cake shop!!

Kim is amazing, the cake was custom made and amazing and everything was done on time, professionally. Can’t say enough about how sweet and nice Kim is and how much more special it makes the cake. I ordered a custom cake for a bridal shower I planned for my best friend and the cake far exceeded my expectations. Kim was so sweet and thoughtful when working with me to complete the cake. I wanted a custom cake with a photo printed on top, a particular theme, and a colour gradient on the sides - not only did the cake turn out super delicious, but Kim took my original vision for the cake and made it even better!! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a custom dessert to check out The Sweet Shoppe. Kim helped to make this event one to remember and I will definitely be keeping her in mind if I ever need another cake in the future :-)

Highly recommend!!! The Sweet Shoppe is fantastic! We had a last minute custom cake order and they got us worked in. We got a Llama cake, cupcakes, and cake pops and they were BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! We were extremely pressed with the quality and the service. Even through some serious personal stuff and a power outage, The Sweet Shoppe delivered! I got lots of updates and good communication to work out pick up/delivery when things got delayed. They ended up bringing the cakes to us, which was so nice! The whole experience was fantastic and we will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you guys for an awesome cake!!

I recently ordered a custom birthday cake for my wife's birthday, and I must say we were blown away by the artistry and everything else about the cake. I ordered a three layer cake with a hippie / beach theme with multiple flavors. With very little to go on, Kim knocked it out of the park. This was the best cake we've ever seen and eaten. The creativity and care taken by Sweet Shoppe is by far the best in the area.

My mother contacted The Sweet Shoppe At Porters Neck as a surprise for my birthday this past summer and had them make me an absolutely beautiful cupcake bouquet. I was stunned at home much detail there was and how much work clearly went into it, plus the cupcakes were absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I devoured the whole dozen in just a few days!

My family and I had two cakes made for one weekend. One cake for an engagement celebration and the second cake for a gender reveal. The cakes were beautiful and absolutely delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed by all. The folks at The Sweet Shoppe were a pleasure to work with. They even followed up with my mom and husband about the cakes on the day of events! The Sweet Shoppe @ Porters Neck deserves 10 stars! The birthday cake was custom designed just the way I asked and everyone where extremely impressed with the design and taste!

I wish there was an option for more stars! I am an international customer and am so happy with how above and beyond the Sweet Shoppe has gone! We wanted to send my car loving brother in law a cake that looked like a tire and The Sweet Shoppe did not disappoint! Although we could not be there to try it ourselves, my sister and brother in law said it tasted amazing.

I called Kim after hours needing a cake for my dad’s birthday the next day. I knew it was a long shot and didn’t expect anyone to answer the phone, let alone actually deliver a cake. My expectations were far exceeded. Kim made such a beautiful, personalized cake for my dad and even delivered it, all in less than 24 hours. Due to distance I couldn’t be there to try the cake, but my family loved it. Highly recommend!

Due to Coronavirus I was unable to attend my sister's baby shower, with the border being closed to Canada. So I hired the Sweet Shoppe to bake cookies to deliver to her house instead. We grew up close to the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, so Kim put mountains on the our adventure themed baby shower cookies, so that my sister could treasure a piece of home on this special day.
