I love this great, little coffee shop! Superb iced coffee!

Coffee is so good and atmosphere is amazing.

The Village Grind is a beautiful coffee shop!! I LOVED the overall eclectic boho theme with all of the plants, as well as the natural lighting which added a very nice effect! I usually try each coffee shops seasonal menu so I got the maple pecan latte and I was not disappointed. It was perfect! I wish I lived closer to Greenville because I would definitely be coming here every day - it’s so magical🙃

This place was local to our VRBO. So happy my wife and I came here. I had a delicious toasted coconut latte with a blueberry scone. We both enjoyed the atmosphere and quality service by the staff.

This is my favorite place to get a gluten free and vegan scone. They are incredible and you’d never know they were gluten free and vegan! The atmosphere here is lovely with great indoor and outdoor seating. They are very accommodating for allergies and make very good coffee. Highly recommend for a friend date or if you want to be in a quiet cozy spot to work or read.

I love everything about this coffee shop. The atmosphere in the store is so nice with a lot of seating options and the decorations being so nice. The coffee itself is really good and the service is always great. Sometimes it can take a little bit of time to order and get your coffee but that's just because it's a popular spot and the employees are working diligently to move through people quickly while also making really good and consistent drinks. I also love that they have reusable glasses (that are so cute!!) for when you order a drink not to-go.

I was walking down the road when I saw this spot and decided to stop in. I'm so glad I did! My strawberry matcha was delicious. The atmosphere is so welcoming and airy, and I love the vintage furniture and glasses! The staff were very kind and quick. This would be a great place to relax, read, study, meet with friends, all of the above! Would love to come by next time I'm in town!

We were just in Beautiful Greenville for a wedding. We found the Village Grind by accident. It was such a great place! Coffee was sooo delicious! Berry shortbread cookie … omg! Service was great! Atmosphere perfect! If I lived there I would be there everyday!!! Love love love this coffee shop! 10⭐️’s ❤️❤️

This is the cutest coffee shop I’ve ever been to with the worst matcha I’ve ever had. The matcha is weak and made with poor quality matcha powder (it’ has a brown hue instead of being vibrant green). I asked for less milk, extra ice in my matcha and it still tasted like just a cup of milk. They must not use hardly any matcha powder. I’m going to give them another chance and order an espresso next time because the environment is just too wonderful to not go again!

The Village Grind has been my go-to local coffee shop for years. The handmade flavors are always so yummy, the staff are so sweet and helpful, and the atmosphere is incredibly dreamy!

Functional space to meet someone at for a conversation or business meeting, great coffee and espresso drinks. They have homemade syrups which are amazing. They emphasize unique flavors vs just a super sweet espresso drink.

Had a great and balanced shot of espresso in a nice little tea cup! Person I was with ordered a latte and it came out beautifully with great glossy milk texture and some stunning latte art to top it off. The workers seemingly knew what they were doing at this shop, confident in their workflow behind the machine. This seems rare in other third wave shops in the upstate, unfortunately. These guys killed it.

Had the absolute best pumpkin latte, ever - rich in flavors, body, quality!! And thank you for making it available in March. The young lady was super sweet too!

Cute little coffee place in West Greenville

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Greenville, a bit away from the downtown hurry but still immersed in the culture of the town. The ambience of this coffee shop, along with the kind staff and top tier coffee, make this a place I joyfully return to a couple of times a month (despite the distance!). I also really appreciate the outdoor seating and the expansive indoor options. Overall, this is a stellar place to spend your mornings or afternoons!

Love the vibes, abundance of plants, and the delicious coffee! Only 4 stars because they do not do very well with large crowds which is what they draw in regularly. A latte can take upwards of 25 minutes sometimes, but I'll still be back.

This place is perfect in every way. I've visited more coffee shops than normal, to be honest and Village Grind has hands down the best coffee I've ever consumed. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, while the decor is perfect 👌 Beautifully done. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, she was kind, delightful and walked me through the process of booking an event with them. The batistas know what they are doing and were so sweet! If you haven't visited this place, go!!!!

Cons: long line, rude staff, served a cortado when asking for a macchiato and placed blame on the customer when asked to remake, asked to tip before receiving poor service Pros: nice atmosphere, lovely plants, nice coffee when made to global standards For me the people are more important than the place so I won’t be back. Stopped here for a study break and I love this coffee shop! They have some nice options for pastries. I ordered a dirty chai latte & it was super delish! Service is fast and friendly as well. It's also so sunny and cute inside. There's plants everywhere and cozy spots to sit at. I will definitely be back!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Greenville! The staff are always so nice and the vibes are so nice. The toasted hazelnut latte is my favorite, some of the best coffee in the area.

Beautiful and warm environment but my order was wrong. I ordered a cinnamon roll warmed- it wasn’t and an iced chai- I received hot. I got the correct drink but it tasted watered down.

They had vegan pastries including cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip coffee cake, blueberry lemon scones, mixed berry scones etc., some of which are gluten free too. Wish they had vegan donuts too!

I visited here during my vacation to Greenville .The service was fantastic, and the coffee is the best I've ever had. I got their Americano and the flavor was very good. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, and was able to answer all the questions that I had.

Such a friendly small business. Can get a line quite often but it’s because everyone wants some of their amazing coffee. Also get the honey lavender latte.

One of the cutest coffee shops in town! The staff were all so warm and welcoming and really made you feel at home here. I’ve not met everyone that works here, but Allie, Molly, and Linda are all great (may have misspelled some names). The VG has been open for the last 8 years. You’ll initially come here for drinks and sweets but you’ll come back and stay for the the village energy here. The espresso tonics are one of my favorite iced drinks. When it’s busy, just be patient, because this place cares about quality and presentation, and that’s exactly what I look for as a patron. I love this green cozy lounge.

Our first time visiting. Arrived at about 11:30 to meet up with a friend. Parking was a NIGHTMARE. NO handicapped parking. Parallel parking along street in front of shops, no specific parking lot. The lot at end of strip was full as were adjacent lots. We parked in a church lot and walked. Inside is rather small and felt claustrophobic, honestly. It was pretty busy and the line for ordering was about 12 or more deep, winding around a narrow corner in a back hall where restrooms are. The coffee offerings were standard with several house special offerings like rose, orange, lavender, etc .. We chose the Orange Mocha coffee. It came in a standard stoneware coffee mug. They have assorted mugs to serve in. It was okay, but nothing I would go out of my way for. Also had the iced chai latte which was served in a tall, thin , vintage glass. It was pretty small and rather watery tasting. There was no real spice or good flavor to it and the liberal cinnamon sprinkle on top was bitter when it clumped up in drink. I would not order it again. We got 2 "cinnamon rolls" which were very flat (like they did not get to rise) super dense and had a very slim drizzle of a sugar glaze across the top. For me it was inedible. My hubs ate his and took mine home as they charged us $4 each for them! It is a rather loud, congested, chaotic vibe inside. Granted it was pretty busy though. Most people grabbed stuff to go. Several working on computers while enjoying their coffee. The reviews of this place were great but we left VERY disappointed in both the drinks and baked goods we had. I don't mind paying a bit extra at a coffee shop for great coffees and pastries but this was just a COMPLETE waste of money to me. The staff was very friendly and nice. The inside was rather dirty with bins full dirty mugs, and some dirty tables around. Not impressed. Will keep looking.

Love this little gem. The coffee was first rate and enjoyed my iced latte in a pretty glass. They have a wide assortment of gluten-free pastries and baked goods which I really appreciated. The blueberry lemon scone was delish. Wi-Fi is fast, bathrooms clean and I had no problem finding an indoor spot to work when I arrived around noon on a Friday. My drink came out quickly and I enjoyed the beautiful decor of the shop. Truly a 5 star experience.

Cozy atmosphere with plenty of greenery from indoor plants. I had the cardamom rose latte & I'm now hooked. They also have Scout's donuts& Brazilian cheese puffs from Swamp Rabbit Cafe! Probably why they stay so busy all the time

I love this place! It is absolutely stunning inside, lots of seating and outlets for studying/working longer periods. It gets super busy on the weekends, like very, very busy so get there early if you want a seat otherwise it’s up to luck. This is always my first choice for a coffee shop close to home. They have pastries, both savory and sweet, and no additional food options. It’s all good, the coffee, the food, and the atmosphere.

I was sad that 6 oz. was the biggest cappuccino they could make, but a 16 oz. latte was a good substitute! I had them make it with whole milk and added in their homemade seasonal orange cinnamon mocha syrup. It was delicious!!! I also got their cheddar kale biscuit warmed up, it was awesome! Definitely a great vibe and plenty of seating.

The coffee is good but the cinnamon roll was hard and not good at all. Be prepared to wait in a line

I tried the lavender latte, it was good, but nothing that wowed me. The lavender gives it a hint of flavor, so it's not overpowering....but it's also not groundbreaking. I did enjoy the coffee cake and the cafe it self was a creatives paradise. I love the inside of it with all of the greenery. I will update my review once I try another item as I have my eye on some of the housemade syrups! All in all I would say to give them a try!

My first time here and I’m wondering why I haven’t come here before? Delicious coffee drinks, warm and inviting decor, plenty of seating indoors and in the covered front patio area, and great service. The perfect spot for a coffee meeting or to just hang out and get some work done.

Cute location with outside patio seating. Great coffee. I love that they make homemade syrups. Prices were a little high, especially because 3 small drinks came to $22 (I’m thinking the barista somehow overcharged but we didn’t want to say anything). Very good coffee though and would return when in the area.

I really like the estistic look of the place, but was disappointed that they do not have coconut milk for a choice. But over all it was good, the latte was smooth.

The village Grind is the best coffee shop in the Greenville area. My husband and I are local small business owners ourselves, and we love to frequent local establishments such as this! You'll love the decor, staff, coffee and pastries. It's definitely worth going out of the way!

Super cute place! Loved the coffee! Loved the plants! Loved the decor! It was so crowded on Sunday morning and it took forever to get our to-go coffee drinks (we're talking probably 20 mins of waiting), but we enjoyed the people watching in the interim. And again, the coffee was great!

I kinda get everyone giving this place 5 stars for the coffee (good but not the best in town) and atmosphere, but they get 1 star for how freaking long it takes to get served! If you're going to invest and expand your capacity, add more staff to meet that capacity. Took 35 minutes to make two lattes....you are doing it wrong people. Good coffee does not negate a horrible experience.

i love the village grind! the only downside is that the inside is very small, and usually packed with so you rarely find seating. They ALWAYS deliver on delicious coffee, and cheap but good pastries!

Small space but super relaxing environment. Several two top tables for working. Enjoy getting their early to study. Most customer wear headphones while working and spend a good amount of time there. Coffee is freshly made and homemade syrup options available. Has outside seating which is nice. Also, shaded to keep you cool.

this is a cute little coffee shop with a lot of options available for the lactose intolerant or vegan. the ambiance reminds me of an early Camera Obscura album cover, which is a good thing, by my measure! the tables are a little close together, which can make it uncomfortable for those wanting a quiet place to sit and read (I think my friend and I drove off one such person while we were catching up), but I would gladly visit again. just keep in mind to grab yourself a quiet corner if possible if you're looking for privacy!

My office just moved to downtown/ west village area. I have tried multiple coffee shops trying to find "my spot". I finally found it at Village Grind. I visit multiple times a week. It's easy in and out usually. My go to drink is the Cafe Latte with Toasted Hazelnut and a chocolate chip scone.

Nice atmosphere. Ample seating. Limited menu, but also food items were not listed on menu in the cafe. They usually have more food items per the barista, but they hadn't been delivered yet (delayed for unk reasons). We weren't huge fans of the cold brew, but the nitro wasn't available this particular day.
