The lamb gyro is the tastiest gyro I have ever eaten in my life the panang was wonderful too! Try this hidden gem. I’m from CA and know good food. I look forward to my next visit to Murray.

What a wonderful place to stop in today here in murray Kentucky. Very pleasant engaging service. Helpful with food choices since this was our first time. Interior neat, clean and inviting. Food hot, French press coffee delicious...gyros and soup of the day yummy!! Try them when in town...

We had the Lentil Joe Special with the fried plantains which was the main reason we went tonight. I will go anytime that Enrique does Plantains and they were delicious. Other tables had the lasagna special which I am sure was delicious also and is another one that I like. The atmosphere was a bit louder than normal due to the amount of people that were there and it was good to see out of towners talking with others as they often schedule their trip from home to somewhere such that they go through Murray at lunch or dinner time.

My family and I love this place. The food is awesome.

Everything we had was superb, we had a group of 10 and all of us got our food in a timely manner. It was all delicious, the smoothies are very creamy and smooth.

The cup of tomato soup with my chutney and cheese sandwich was tasty, filling, and cheering on a cool damp day. Going to bring friends with me the next time I visit. What a great place to dine and chat.

I was impressed! We came during the lunch hour, so they were very busy. Finding a parking spot was a bit of a chore, but we managed. The menu contained quite a variety; from hummus to tacos, as well as, soups and sandwiches. Soft drinks are served in cans and chips are in the bag. I had a Ruben sandwich and it was very well prepared and very tasty.

This is one of our absolute favorite places to eat! I have never had a bad meal here and everyone in our family can find something they love! We are so lucky to have them in Murray!!

One of our favorite restaurants in Murray. Beautiful old house, tables on porch and lawn. Not expensive. Family-owned and very friendly. Their tomato soup is wonderful! They do an excellent tikka masala on Thursday, and all of their curries are excellent. My favorite is the green. Really, one of the best restaurants in town. They deliver.

I really like the Tomato Soup. I also liked the rice plate meal which had a spicy curry flavor. My wife had a naked burrito, and had enough to take some home. Green curry dish with shrimp was very good. Wife had salmon patties with a side salad, and my daughter had an open face gyro with chicken. All was very good. Had good service.

The Willow Bistro is truly a treat to have in Murray. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming here. You can tell that the food is made with love! They serve a wide variety of foods, including many delicious soups in the colder months.

Bistro is in the former home of Price (Pop) Doyle, Dean of Fine Arts, and is right across from the campus of Murray State Univesity. The Bistro has retained that homey feel. And, even though the Spring semester at MSU ended, the Bistro was quite busy. Nevertheless, the service was very prompt and attentive. The food as even better. Lots of lunch options as well as various smoothies. Everything was made from scratch and the ingredients were fresh. Definitely pay a visit.

My fiancé and I ate here for the first time tonight. I’d never had falafel before and it was delicious. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, the staff were super friendly and the dessert was fantastic. I definitely recommend eating here and will be going back!

Surprising find in a small town. Everything seemed to be made from scratch from the salad dressing to the pie crust. Excellent crab cakes and curry. The deserts were terrific too especially the strawberry shortcake. My son thought his brownie was like none he had ever had. I’ve eaten a lot of places over the years so I’m not sure it was the best but it’s for sure top ten. What I am sure of is the service was the best I’ve ever had. I think it was the owners mother. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a good dining experience. We could tell she really cared. Overall a great experience.

Love gyros, have had gyros for years but the lamb here while was exceptionally tender it was also exceptionally bland without the seasoning associated with gyros. If the traditional seasonings had been present it would have been amazing. Everyone has an off day, people and businesses. I will return to try again because I suspect this might just have been an off day. Will post if it that was case.....

We are WFPBNO. It's very difficult for us to eat out. After checking out The Willow Bistro online, we decided to give it a try and see if we could order from them. After being seated, we explained our needs and the waitress, Brenda, said it should be easy to accommodate us. She knew which menu items would work and which individual ingredients! She also conferred with the chef on items she wasn't 100% sure about. We had the carrot ginger soup, hummus plate with veggies, rooted panini, panang curry, tropical curry, and a fresh pressed juice. All of them were excellent and fit our dietary needs! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you're anywhere near here (we drove over an hour to eat here!) you really must try it. They do have other items beyond vegan/vegetarian, so don't be worried that you won't get what you want. (I marked this as mid-range in cost, but we paid $58 for the 6 items listed above, so not very expensive for this quality food.)

Fantastic seasonal Hampkin Panini! Adding pumpkin spice spread and grilled onions to a ham and cheese panini was brilliant, and it was delicious even without the ham. My husband gave the mango smoothie 2 thumbs up, as well. We will return!

We hold this place near and dear to our heart and while we lived in Murray we’d go at least once a week! Unbelievable FRESH food, exceptional service, and reasonable prices. You can’t go wrong with their curry, fresh squeezed juices, crab cakes, and strawberry shortcake to name a few. You will not be disappointed!

We sat on the patio. It was the first time we ate at a restaurant since the start of covid, although we've been ordering takeout from here throughout the last year. I had the falafel gyro with basmayı rice. I have an onion for sensitivity so I asked for no onions. There may be a little in the tsatziki, but not enough to cause too many issues for me and their tsatziki is delicious! It was all very flavorful. I even love their pita bread. It's the fluffy kind, which i enjoy more than the thin pocket kind. We also got cooked spinach dip and my parents ordered a couple of the Thai dishes - tomka (which i think is tom kha gai from what I can glean from Google) and a penang curry. They enjoyed them both. Neither was that spicy, so you may need to request it if you want some heat. It's family run, they are all absolutely lovely and so accommodating. Nothing, except some of the sauces is pre-made, so if there's an ingredient you don't like, they can drop it. It's Murray, so we knew several of the people dining there that night and everyone tasked about how they loved their meal and how this is the restaurant that they trust most for cleanliness. (They got a 100% score on their health inspection for the 2nd year in a row! ) If you're looking for creative (or familiar) flavorful and healthy food, with an intensively flair in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place to go! I just wish they also offered breakfast. But it's a family-run establishment. They've gotta rest some time!

The service here is above and beyond. The food was excellent. Our server Synthia was incredibly nice and attentive. Honestly, every single staff member was very accommodating and friendly. My family and I will be back for sure

Nice place, nice staff. Even though they didn't have wifi they let me hook up a computer (and plug in) to work while we were ordering and dining. It's in an old house and easy to drive right past, but it's worth finding. The menu isn't huge but offers a pretty good variety of selections. We will definitely come back.

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The menu had something for everyone and specials each day. This will be our first choice whenever we visit our granddaughter at Murray State.

This cozy restaurant is a gem. We were greeted with friendly smiles and seated immediately. Never having eaten here before our waitress, Brenda, was very knowledgeable about the menu. I am newly vegan and she went above and beyond in helping not only me but everyone at our table make excellent choices. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There is a wide variety, with gluten free options and everything is fresh and healthy. Thank you Brenda for being great at what you do.

Easily my favorite place in Murray! EVERYTHING about this place is amazing! The exterior has a small town charm and the interior with a cozy feel. The menu is truly like no other with the different options and the fact everything seems freshly made. Also an added benefit of they get ingredients locally. To bring it full circle, the staff is friendly and always goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. A must try place (especially if you have any dietary restrictions. I myself am vegan and they offer some options as well as have the ability to make some nonvegan options vegan)!

Love Willow Bistro, everything is made from scratch, they are one of the few places in town that serves relatively healthy (not all fried) food. Their owners are delightful and very accomodating to parties or really any requests. They have been truly wonderful during the pandemic.

Ate here a few weeks ago and it was delicious. These 1-star reviews are because they are Kroger workers upset that one of the owners of this place politely asked them to wear masks at work. Sorry to the owners of WB that Kroger employees are so immature, guess I'll be going to Walmart again instead.

Very delicious and prompt! I've had a great meal with great service every time I go and I try to go once a week. I've dined in and did take out lots of times and the food is always fresh and creatively made. The staff and management is superb, and I've always felt safe and well-cared for whether I'm getting take-out or dining in.

Family owned and quaint! Have tried most items on the menu but my frequent dishes are the curry and falafel. Peaceful place to eat, socialize, and be in a matured business in a college town.

If for some godforsaken reason you find yourself in Murray, KY head to the Willow Bistro. It was on my short list of truly wonderful things there. My favorite thing to order was the green curry and it also is one of my favorite curries ever. The guacamole was also very good, and if they have a tamale special again, I recommend it. Not only did this place help us endure what was not a great time overall for us, but the employees went above and beyond to safely offer delivery and porch pickup in the pandemic.

This is absolutely the best place to eat lunch or dinner in Murray. I saw all of these really odd reviews and you have to wonder what planet these people are on or why someone would make up this stuff. The Bistro is and always has been top notch. The food is wonderful, the staff are by far the most courteous and helpful of any place I’ve been, and I take any guest speakers and potential staff or faculty that we are interviewing at the University here because I want to show them how wonderful a place we have right next to campus. I was telling my wife just two days ago how happy I am that the Bistro as made it through the pandemic, and how many of us ordered take out the last year to help keep them going. So many of us love it that much: the food, the atmosphere, and the people. You won’t be disappointed, and if you are, you might not be living in a reality-based system and should think about taking the red pill ASAP.

A real gem in a somewhat lackluster Murray food scene. Willow has friendly and professional staff that are always happy to welcome you to what feels like their own home. The food is always fresh and tasty. My go-to is the gyro plate, but their salads and seasonal specials are also amazing. I also will indulge in their fresh juices (all made fresh when you order) sometimes. Can't recommend this place enough.

My wife and I *love* Willow Bistro, and have been particularly grateful to them during the pandemic that we have always felt safe whenever we've ordered from them. The food is fresh, the recipes unique, the servers friendly and attentive. At times, I've been part of groups that sat in the upstairs sections, which require the servers to carry food up their to big parties, and they were amazingly accommodating even though there was a busy room downstairs. There are many places in Murray where you can go to get fried food that was formerly frozen, but you'd have to drive pretty far to find something like Willow Bistro. It's a gem in this small town, and I'm grateful for their employees and their commitment to both safety during the pandemic and ethical business always.

This restaurant is a local gem. Family owned and operated, you will feel very much at home there. The menu is always fresh and flavorful with seasonal specials, tasty drinks and homemade desserts. If you have dietary restrictions they are more than accommodating. The staff always has a smile and you never need to worry if they are being safe with regards to the pandemic. From day one of cdc recommended restrictions to prevent community spread they have always followed them. They all wear masks. I frequent Willow Bistro and take my guest here as it is one of the best restaurants in town. Good is delicious, staff is wonderfully accommodating and remembers your preferences. I also feel extremely safe dining in as multiple safety precautions are in full view and I know the owners and staff are deeply committed to taking care of their customers. I won’t lie though. If your go to is McDonalds while you’re in Nashville, this isn’t the place for you. Way to much flavor, originality, hospitality, and cleanliness.

One of the best places to eat in Murray. Creative specials each week, diverse dishes that range from Mediterranean to street tacos to curries, and very friendly staff and owners. It's one of the few places we have eaten at during the pandemic because they have been masked and always accommodated us with curbside pickup if we had kids in the car.

We have eaten at The Willow Bistro MANY times. Every single time, it has been a great experience. The inside is so cute, homey, welcoming, and always squeaky-clean. In our experience with dining in, our service has always been stellar. The food is SO fresh and SO yummy. I dream about the Indian dishes. I go often for take-out fresh juices and lunch, and it's always a good experience. The wait can sometimes be a little longer for take-out if you're there during the lunch rush, so I recommend calling it in, in advance. If you're looking for clean, fresh, food and international options, this is one of the best in town. Support small businesses!

This is the only restaurant in Murray with such an authentic, diverse menu. From Middle Eastern, Indian, Mexican, Greek, and good American comfort food, you can’t go wrong. This is our favorite family place. They know all of us by name and always know what we like. They also always alter the orders to my many additions and substitutions. 😆 This place has always been one of the best businesses in town about masking. They've done curbside pickup all through COVID. Whoever has a negative one star review for this place is taking a out person vendetta for something unrelated to the incredible service this place offers.

I thank my lucky stars all the time for this wonderful restaurant. Their tag line is "Cooked with Love" and by God, they mean it. Their food is out-of-this-world good and their ambience is cozy and inviting. They even have a patio for folks who may not want to go indoors right now. Every staff member I've ever interacted with at this wonderful establishment has been attentive, courteous, and lovely to speak with - even the younger folks who tend to come and go more often. They serve your food with an honest-to-goodness smile on their faces, which you would see if they weren't dutifully wearing their masks. FURTHERMORE, these fine folks are incredibly charitable, and have given to local clubs even when the pandemic seriously damaged the entire food service industry. This restaurant is filled with the best food and the kindest servers in Murray. Come get you some gyros or salads or smoothies or their amazing falafel or tikka masala or tom kha soup or sandwiches or pies or cookies or their seasonals or their daily specials. You won't be disappointed. I cannot rave enough about this place.

Eat local and support people in your community over multinational conglomerates! Will you be 100% satisfied with everything, all of the time? It's doubtful, but you will know where your money is going and who is benefiting from it.
