Been going there for years since the frosted mug closed and they're great but, summer 2024 they seem to not offer any food except ice cream on the menu which makes no sense to me after years of great food and being one of the only fastfood places on the island. Was very convenient to walk to the woohoo from most of the hotels in the area and always seemed super busy at dinner time. I'm just saddened to see that after coming to LBI for so long.

Amazing homemade ice cream. The service is great, I loved the brownies! We visited recently and we were helped by Izzy. She was very sweet and knowledgeable. We will return!

I had stopped at the Woo Hoo several times over the years for lunch and was looking forward to one of their hamburgers and fries but they stopped making the burgers this year because their ice cream business is growing. Total bummer! They still make their hand cut French fries but without the burger I had lunch someplace else but went back for ice cream. The ice cream here is worth the trip to Beach Haven. I had a medium sundae which is two very generous scoops of ice cream in a dish that overflows. I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the Toasted S’mores flavors and talk about delicious. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch was excellent and loads with pieces of the cereal. The S’mores ice cream was a marshmallow flavor with chocolate bits in it. It was a nice way to end the evening. The Woo Hoo is the place to go when visiting Long Beach Island.

We ordered an ice cream cake for 14 people 2 days in advance and it was done no problem. We did a 10" cake with chocolate on the bottom with vanilla caramel on top. It needed to be gluten-free so we did a fudge center instead of the crumbles and everyone loved it. The staff is very friendly as well.

The menu takes some deciphering but the only vegan soft serve on the island. And it is coconut based rather than soy. Lots of unique icecream flavors and combinations including cakes and food.

Not great! Freezer-burned, messy, very unorganized. Didn’t have much knowledge on their allergy friendly options. Was not satisfied!

Great ice cream, but service was very, very slow. Half of our large party didn't wait. We love this place, not sure what is going on.

Maybe the best ice cream on an island with 100 ice cream places!

Solid ice cream shop, I heard Kevin Jonas is a fan, he's got pretty good taste if that's the case.

Waited about 30 minutes to order ice cream because the line was long. After ordering ice cream realized left wallet at home. Told them we would be right back with money since we are about half a mile away. When we returned we went back to tell them we had the money for the ice cream we ordered, and were told we had to go back to the end of the line, that we weren’t allowed to cut in line. We told them to forget it. Disappointing. Couldn’t wait another 30 minutes.

Good portion sizes but I've had better-tasting ice cream

Good ice cream, but the line got long, and you cant blame the one poor person working the counter for service time.

No customer service or rapport. They had no regular cones, so they automatically give you a waffle cone at $1,00 upcharge - without telling you! It's supposed to have soft serve as the sign says, but "we're out of that". Much better places close by - visit them!

I visited LBI Labor Day weekend and was really looking forward to this place after hearing they make homemade ice cream and more natural. So I thought it would be a safer choice. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I asked about their ice cream sandwiches and what kind of cookie was used for the key lime pie sandwich and was told it was chocolate chip. Not what I expected (I thought they would pair it with a graham cracker cookie), but I was ok with it since I like chocolate chip. The girl at the register handed me the ice cream sandwich which was completely wrapped/packaged. It was hard to open and it would have been nice if she offered to cut it open since I was eating it there. I was extremely disappointed with the taste and quality. The cookie tasted like a vanilla sugar cookie, not chocolate chip like the girl at the register told me, and it was raw. It might have been baked about a quarter of the time it should have been. I normally like cookie dough, but this didn’t even taste good. The ice cream didn’t taste good either. The picture of the card is what was packaged with the ice cream sandwich. They didn’t separate the ingredients of the cookie from the ice cream, but either way the ingredients were not good and I was disappointed with a place that seems to promote “home made”, “fresh”, and gives the impression of natural ingredients. It doesn’t seem any different from getting the cheapest ice cream at a big grocery store or gas station. I hope they change.

What an incredible experience! We booked The WooHoo for our child's 5th birthday and hosted an "Ice Cream Making Party." Megan was engaging, patient, and went over the top to make the party a success! All of the kids got an opportunity to sample different ice cream flavors before finally getting to mix up their own specialty batch. While they waited for their custom creations to freeze up - they played a bunch of fun games. Our guests have all raved about how fun and unique the experience was. I strongly suggest considering The WooHoo for your child's next party!

The girl working the cash register today wouldn't let me order strawberry ice cream because it's only reserved for those with gluten free or tree nut allergies. I don't have a diagnosed gluten free allergy, but I prefer fruit flavors and gluten free foods because it sits better with me, but was denied that option. I was so embarrassed being denied it that I just walked away from the counter. My friends and I went to Barry's instead where I got my gluten free Dole Pineapple ice cream. I have never heard of an ice cream place denying someone ice cream that they want... I was really excited to try Woo Hoo because our waitress at dinner recommended it, but it is what it is. Maybe I'll go to the doctor's to get a true diagnosis and paperwork before ever coming back.

Ordered an ice cream cake for a special occasion and it was fantastic! Ice cream is delicious and not too sweet. Decoration was simple and elegant. Far surpasses any ice cream cake ever! Thank you for making our party treat a real success! Donna

I came here looking for a quick bite, and their burger and fries were really good. I didn't try the ice cream, but it seemed pretty popular based on the crowds.

i love the homemade ice cream flavor variety. We ordered cold brew and brown butter pecan. Both were good and were not too sweet. I would love to come back & try more flavors.

Did an ice cream making experience with owner Megan. It was extremely fun for everyone. Megan was super kind and very knowledgeable. It was definitely a do over. The ice cream tasted incredible and authentic. Much better than store bought or generic ice cream stands. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a wonderful time at WooHoo. The Ice cream is creamy and better than any other I've ever tried!!! Our group enjoyed the ice cream making class that was offered and we are looking forward to eating the treats we made. Thanks Megan.

The ice cream was wonderful. very creamy and flavorful but the teens serving us seemed bored and could care less that we were there. I guess we'd go back, but with several other ice cream joints, we'll have to be in the area to bother.

Heard great things about this but overrated. Ordered a double scoop Ritz and Cinnamon toast - had chunks of ice in it! Very disappointed! On a positive note, the whipped cream was super fresh. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

Yummy home made ice cream. Hands down the best. Especially the cold brew!! They’ve ice creams in the menu for the people we’ve allergies which is great but they won’t sell it if you don’t have allergies. They should mention that in the menu.

My son has severe food allergies, and we had a great experience at the WooHoo. When we ordered, the woman who was behind the counter confirmed this was for a person with an allergy and she then proceeded to wash her hands and put gloves on before getting his ice cream. This made us feel extremely comfortable with the whole process. I would highly recommend the WooHoo and we will be back in the future. Also, the ice cream was delicious!! This was the first time my son who is almost 4, ever had ice cream out at an ice cream shop and it was such a great experience. It was so nice being able to have a normal experience for him! Would highly recommend!!

My wife and I went for ice cream. I ordered chocolate PB and twix. The chocolate PB was rather chalky and the twix tasted nothing like what a twix tastes like. The extra star is for the speed of service and the staff. There are better ice cream options on the island.

They have large pieces of wood to demarcate lines in front of the ordering window. One fell on my child. We told them. They became argumentative. It was a horrible experience.

With so many ice cream shops on the island, one way to distinguish yourself amongst the rest is service. I can’t say with absolute certainty but I’m pretty sure our girl was high. She forgot what we ordered twice (there was no line so it wasn’t frantically busy), and at the end, I tipped $4.50+ on a $23 bill, and she stared at me. After a couple seconds of brief silence, I said thank you and walked away. The kids liked their soft serve so I gave it an additional star. Won’t be driving 20+ minutes down the island for WooHoo anymore. I realize the owner puts all his heart into the business and i’m not one to give bad reviews (see my other reviews) but a business’ reputation lies on its end product and it’s front line. Front line needs work. A simple “thank you for coming” goes a long way - especially with gas prices so high.

The best non dairy chocolate ice cream I ever had! They should share that recipe with others because they've clearly got it right.

My wife has many food allergies & the girl at the window and the entire staff took the time to let her know all of the ingredients and we finally settled on a burger on a bed of greens and fries 🍟. She has been scared to eat out for almost a year now. I hope other places are as helpful !!! I highly recommend. Oh, and when they brought our order out hers was in containers and in a bag and mine was separate so there would be no cross contamination !!! Again, awesome people. Thank you so much for an amazing experience !!! I got a single patty burger and it was awesome 👌

We only had dinner. We felt the burgers were small especially for the price. But the tables were always clean, the people working there were great. Burgers were good even though they were small.

This ice cream shop does not make natural ice cream and does not use the finest ingredients as advertised. The ingredient label on their cookie ice cream sandwich lists polysorbate 80 and several different gum fillers. Since when did homemade natural ice cream contain laboratory manufactured ingredients? My response: "ice cream science" says it all. It shouldn't take science to make ice cream! Look at Haagen-daz ingredients: egg yolks, milk, cream, sugar. Those are real ingredients. No Polysorbate 80 or gum fillers needed.

WooHoo carries a variety of food, but is probably best known for its variety of ice cream flavors you will find nowhere else. In a very competitive LBI ice cream field, such as Barry's Do Me a Flavor and others, WooHoo is a standout!

Great place for family. The food is outstanding Kids stay occupied on ice cream toy truck and merry go round. This place is a must stop for families. The food and ice cream is the best around. Love this place and HIGHLY recommend

Very good ice cream. It was a bit too much (mind you we had each the small portion), but I would definitely recommend it!

The ice cream flavors are great. Lots of unique choices. However, ordering was another story. The young lady who made my sundae made it incorrectly. When I told her, she said that what I had was really good. I asked for it to be made again. Second time was wrong also but at that point, I wasn't going to ask her to make it a third time. I ate the sundae that was made wrong. It was good, it just wasn't what I ordered. Maybe I should have asked the young lady to repeat my order back to me.

Awesome!!! Homemade ice cream and ample serves. Toppings can add up... Make sure they're not stingy on the sprinkles 😉. I treat myself to WooHoo when I'm on a cheat day from my diet. I bring friends and it never disappoints. I hear the food is great too, but I've never tried it. Definitely go for ice cream 🍦 though! New flavors all the time - did I mention it's all homemade? Made with love..and lots of sweetness. I'll be back!

$15 for a brownie milk shake!? That doesn’t even make sense given a regular brownie sundae is $7.50! And $1-$1.50 per topping? This has to be the most overpriced ice cream place! Never returning unless I like going broke for a frozen treat. Only plus was my wife said the dairy free ice cream was really good. Only reason for 2 stars.

Update may 2022 and their food continues to be consistently above average. The french fries today are possibly the best I've ever had. The ice cream was so fresh and so tasty. Very delicious homemade ice cream. So hard to find homemade ice cream. Homemade hot fudge sauce! Love supporting this local place. I also have a son with severe food allergies and do they have a special line just for not free products. A real find. Love supporting people who are local love supporting people who use real ingredients love supporting people who are concerned about allergies.

Such kind people and delicious ice cream! They were at my little guy’s baseball opening and let him have a free ice cream. It was delicious and the employees are so kind and caring!

I stopped in at The WooHoo for dessert on a rather dark and cool November night after a meal elsewhere and had a dish of ice cream. The girl working here let me try a sample of the "Pillow Fight" flavored ice cream and it was mind blowing. It was a Marshmallow ice cream with crushed Oreo Cookies and multi colored sprinkles mixed inside. You could really taste the sweetness of the marshmallow with the rich cream. The mix ins just added to the sweetness and crunch. Along with a scoop of Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream and I was content until my next trip here. The ice cream here is homemade and you can taste the care that they put into their product. They also gave me two really nice sized scoops and the prices are very fair here. You can tell the owners have the whole package covered with fair prices, excellent service and wonderful food. You have to try the hot foods here when the kitchen is open.

Always 5 stars. You can go there in the mood for something in particular and leave with 3 other flavors because their flavors are so interesting and enticing

Ice cr was amazing. I sampled the cold brew and it was like eating coffee. I asked for two scoops and it was more like 4. I couldn't finish it, bit it was amazing. Great place for late night ic cream

They had a great variety of homemade ice creams. We had the Nutta Ella, Milk Chocolate with mini chocolate chips and the kids loved this Ice Cream Truck ride.

Lines are long, but definitely worth it. The one scoop option is a nice healthy portion. Also their ice cream bars are amazing.

Picked some up at the German Buthcher shop. Tried flavors chocolate and key lime pie. Was disappointed with flavor intensity. Very bland, would not of known it was key lime pie if it didn't say it on the carton. The consistently is good; smooth and creamy, just wish the flavors were more pronounced.

Vegan soft serve ice cream!!!!!

We come here for ice cream and it's officially our new annual tradition! Vegan options too. My kid loves the rides they put in this year. Always a woohoo delicious treat. It's around $20-$25 for four small icecream cups and cones including topping and specialty non dairy icecreams making up half the order. The mint chip is the creamiest most delicious thing ever! They only have waffle cones. No sugar or cake cones. Everything is home made deliciousness.

I was disappointed when I went to the Woo Hoo this year that the kitchen was closed two weeks ago. The staff had told me that there was not enough business and they closed the kitchen grill two weeks earlier and Beach Haven had been really crowded this weekend. Still I went back later after dinner elsewhere and had some ice cream. I the Cookies and Scream, which was a vanilla ice cream with Halloween Oreo's and M & M's in it and it was excellent. The ice cream is so rich and creamy. Also I read what one reviewer said about the portion sizes and I have to tell you, I ordered one scoop and it was like two scoops. It was a big portion of ice cream for $3.95 and more than fair. I guess they listened to the reviewers. Still the staff here is really nice and helpful and explained the kitchen closing and why and I understood but now I have to wait until April to try their fried chicken sandwich.

We come to The WhoHoo a lot when we're in Beach Haven. The ice cream is always tasty and they offer some unique flavors. I just wish they had more choices.

Aesthetically speaking the ice crea is awesome, flavor its ok though. My complain here is about the girl in charge I told her specifically what I wanted and she didnt seem yo understand three times that I wanted a ice cream with two scoops of different flavor each one and also gave me an attitude and all did was place an order .Make sure you train your stuff properly and not people that seem not wanting to be there pr doing a favor to the customers. The reason why I give it three stars was because another employee took over my order and was much nicer and gave me a cone and a cup.

My husband ordered a large chocolate custard in a waffle cone. When the girl served him the cone I asked what size it was. He said he asked for a large. It looked like a small. The girl behind the counter then said $7.00. Wow.. While it was a nice treat we were very disappointed in the amount of ice cream received so I didn't order anything for myself.. The place was hopping and it was a really cute place but, too pricey for a tiny bit of ice ream.

We are frequent visitors to WooHoo. Last week we ordered a 2 scoop cup and a hot fudge sundae with three scoops. The portions were about 60 to 70% of what we would normally receive. Additionally, the hot fudge was minimal on the sundae. Don’t know if it was just a server error or a change to your usual generous portions. I hope it was the former. A disappointed ice cream aficionado

this place just makes me want to run around lbi screaming WOOHOO. Workers all wear masks, good signage on where to enter and exit, and their milkshakes are amazing. The only thing that makes me say boohoo is when I finish my milkshake because it's that good. 10/10 would recommend.

They make their own dairy free/vegan ice cream from coconut milk, and it was really good. Soft serve and they had vanilla, chocolate, and twist flavors. Lots of toppings to choose from though I think these were a little more expensive than some of the other ice cream places. The kids LOVED it!

they are doing a great job keeping everything clean and signs posted for guidance on social distancing... so happy to know they are being responsible and care of their employees and patrons ... and was happy with what we ordered.

Amazing ice cream. My one frustration is that they have fun names that don't clearly describe the flavors. I don't really like being that guy who holds up the line asking what every flavor is.

Handmade soft serve and ice cream, with classic/vegan options for all stomachs. Awesome food as well, try the crab ccx cake sandwich, or the vegan nugs! Not to forget - hand made sweet potatoe fries... SO GOOD!

Woohoo’s has the creamiest homemade, small batch ice cream. Ice cream sandwiches are enormous.
