I love this place. Whether you are hungry or thirsty this place is a great choice.

Very disappointed in our order. Menu said shrimp basket but failed to say it was tiny popcorn shrimp that wasnt brown and charged us $16.

Great restaurant on main. The food is great the service is excellent with amazing wait staff. Perfect location too!

Beautiful outdoor seating that is private. The beer was cold with a good variety. The establishment is pet friendly and provided a water dish for our hunting dog. I dont recall the name of our waitress (blue hair) but she was very pleasant and did her job well. We would recommend if traveling with your pet.

This place has the best burgers in town. Everything is homemade and is sooooo tasty!

Thirsty's is nice, not a dive. It's an ordinary place with good service, nice seating, decent food. I went to a family gathering there. I liked the hand cut, "real potatoe" fries. The fish was good. The onion rings were very crispy. The fried shrimp were a bit on the tasteless side and seemed shredded or sliced instead of whole shrimp. If you'd like a meeting place for a large group that you can bring family too and avoid a dive atmosphere, then this is a good place.

My family chose Thirsty's because it had a dog friendly patio. Service was attentive and friendly! Food much better than expected. Burger menu variety was impressive, especially to sub any style with veggie patty. Signature house-made sauces had great flavor! Will definitely eat there again.

Food was good and "fresh cut/fresh made" but not worth the menu costs. Service was good but what should be expected for any bar/restaurant, nothing special and the atmosphere was fine. Again, nothing special for downtown rapid city.

Came here during the Sturgis rally. Restaurant was completely full and the staff were doing a great job keeping up with it!! We were helped right away and the food was great, probably some of the best food I've had during rally time. A couple of us had burgers, spicy chicken sandwich, I had a chipotle chicken wrap. No one had any complaints about the food!

I got the Hawaiian Burger here and was Impressed! Everything was fresh, Burger was cooked perfectly, service friendly and quick.

As a local I highly recommend it to Travelers looking for a great locally owned place instead of a chain restaurant. You won't be sorry.

Been going to Thirstys for years and I have never been disappointed. There food is incredible and there beer is always ice cold. The atmosphere is great lots of tvs 📺 to watch your favorite game or to host go and visit with family and friends. Never to loud to have a good conversation over an ice cold beer and some delicious food served up quick from one of there great waiters or waitresses. Believe me you will mot be disappointed!! Great job done by owners Tim and Alyssia Roman they are Rock Stars!! 🌟

Absolutely will not return. We walked in a little over an hour before closing and they refused to serve us! The lady was flat out rude!

Mack was our server. We sat outside on patio for dinner. Another place with different craft beers, ciders and mixed drinks. My wife had an ultra draft while I tried Lion's Paw which I thought was good. She ordewr a quesadilla and I ordered the Indian Taco, my brothers suggestion from being out west. The Indian Taco, again huge, covered an entire dinner plate with salad, taco mix and a indian flat bread. It was delicious but too big.

Local bar with sticky tables, draft beer and okay food. The Thai Peanut wrap, Plain Jane Burger and kids chicken tenders were all edible. I would not choose to eat dinner here again.

Food and service was amazing! Matt was super attentive. Came in with the family on vacation and we all ordered something different and was absolutely delicious. Buffalo is a must when we come out west and the sweet heat buffalo burger was one of the best I've ever had!

A solid four star dinner. The Mac and Gouda bites were a fantastic starter. The bison burgers are delicious, specifically the bourbon, but they can’t seem to cook them medium rare and it only comes well done. The service was super friendly and fast. She only forgot my drink then offered it finally with my bill and to take it in a to go cup (like … literally why would anyone do that lol). The patio is spacious, somewhat shaded, and extremely dog friendly. Parking outside free in the evening. Not a lot of it though. Overall, good prices and I’d come back.

Loved it! Food was great, they had live music at bar next door, our waitress was awesome. Plus being able to bring my dog on their very oversized patio with plenty if room between tables and giving my dog water was just the icing on the cake. We were super happy. Finally got it use the gift card we were given by the mgmt for the bad meal/service we had a while ago. This time the food was ABSOLUTELY DELISH! Freah fries, moist chicken sandwich and Chislic was awesome! Service was great too!

We should have taken our cue from the business name before ordering food, especially (American) Indian Tacos. What my wife and I received was more like an imitation Indian Taco salad hiding what appeared to be a manufactured Indian fry bread. The fry bread was perfectly round, had a seam on its side like a waffle would from a waffle maker. The "salad toppings" were sufficient and tasty, so sufficient we had to take home leftovers. My grandson ordered a side of BBQ wings for his meal. They were crispy, large and tasty. The service was superb. Total bill after taxes for a party of 3 was about $54

We’ve eaten here twice when we’ve come to town for a soccer tournament. Both times we had great service and good food. We’ve eaten inside and on the patio, both are great!

Bartender was super friendly, and the Cobra Burger was awesome.

One of the only places in town that you can get a good Indian taco anytime. Burgers are amazing as well and I was so surprised to see they had my favorite beer on tap already. Surprising because it is a seasonal beer. Highly recommend this place, especially for large groups.

We had the fresh cut french fries, and they were amazing! The tap beer was very cold, and our bar tender was super helpful with directions around town.

Their food is really good and service was really welcoming and friendly. It wasn't overly busy when we had dinner, but they have a lot of space between tables. So I think you would still feel you have privacy even on a busier night.

Server was great, kept us in food and drink, checked in with a great attitude even though the place was very busy- Sam made it easy to enjoy our lunch and catch up! My table mates liked the fries, I enjoyed my fish and chips- though very little in the way of vegetarian choices YES I know it’s a burger place.

Cute little pub. They are known for their burgers but everything on the menu is great. Beer and wine only. They have a dog friendly patio. Great for the summer!

Crossposted from facebook I've been assaulted numerous times by patrons and staff here. One time I was walking on the sidewalk and a staff member came out and violently shoved me into someone's car and the windshield shattered. I was almost murdered twice here and nobody intervened. I'm autistic and I've had hate crimes committed against me here. My life has been permanently harmed because of my experiences here. I have troubles remembering the previous day as a result. Nobody seems to care. I feel like it's all been swept under the rug. Most of this happens at night. It's left me with psychological problems. I'm unsure if i mentioned this to the owners or not.

This place is awesome! The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for even our kids! Would highly recommend this place!! The staff even gave our kids some quarters to play a game of pool so my husband and I could finish our drinks!

I visit Rapid City several times a year, often enough to have sampled most of the “good restaurants” of which there are several, but Thirsty’s Korean Chicken Sandwich was one of the best meals I have ever had. The beer was good and our whole parties food was outstanding. Don’t miss this restaurant!

The food is very basic. Our burger was overcooked and dry, fries were luke warm and the salsa tasted like water with a pinch of air. The prices are actually insane for sub-par food at best. The service was good, make sure you do the math on your receipt, we were charged an extra dollar for nothing. It used to be good but quality has taken a major dive with a major increase in price along with smaller portions.

My husband and I went to Thirsty’s last month! We were visiting Rapid City and it was the first restaurant we went to. I picked Thirsty’s because of their reviews! The atmosphere was great! I thought our server was so friendly. My husband ordered the Korean Chicken Sandwich with fries He really enjoyed it!! I ordered a Plain Jane burger. I didn’t order the bacon that came on it, but that was a simple mistake! We had also ordered the Mac N Gouda bites and we were never served them. They weren’t on the ticket so I think maybe our server got the bacon mixed up with the bites. I’m not sure!! Our server is a human not a machine, so I understand these things happen sometimes! The burger was good and we both enjoyed the hand-cut fries!!We really had an overall positive experience. I would recommend Thirsty’s to anyone locally or visiting! Thank you, Thirsty’s!

We were driving around Rapid City looking for a quick meal. We happened to park right in front of Thirsty's (you will need to pay a parking meter). I think Peyton was working the entire restaurant by herself and she did an amazing job! I had a really good patty melt and husband had an equally good french dip sandwich. Both came with homemade cole slaw that was really good. Be aware, this is really a bar but it has great food.

Dog Friendly. Great food. The first night happened to be Trivia night so the kitchen was slammed. When we finally got our bison burgers they were delicious. The pup liked her burger too. Dozens of draft beers. We ate here 3 nights in a row during our visit to Rapid City

We came to Thirsty’s to have some burgers and beers on the patio. Mid-lunch it began to pour rain and golf ball sized hail. The waiters/waitresses were so helpful getting us inside and even brought out towels and dry shirts for us to dry ourselves/our dogs off. Everyone was so friendly and the food/beer was delicious. Definitely recommend the burgers! Give this place a try!

Went there on a friday night. That night was really low-key. Inless the crowds didn't show up, there were minimal people there. I honeslty liked that. They had a pool table in the corner and tv's all around the place. The food was good. I had spicy chicken, and my friend had a french dip. Reasonably priced.

Passing through Rapid City on a road trip when we stumbled upon Thirsty’s! Really great Tap selection and the food was really good! The thing that amazed us the most was how friendly and hardworking the waitstaff/ bartenders were. It was a busy night and they must have been down a few hands but they were all super friendly and literally running at times! Would come back in a heartbeat!

I didn't try enough of the menu to make a fair judgment on the food. The appetizer was very good. I met a colleague for a discussion on St Patty's Day and was able to locate a quiet table. The staff's customer service is exceptional, frequently checking to see if we had any additional needs. I would highly recommend Thirsty's.

Joined a group on Saturday morning to watch football. They served breakfast burritos which green chili which were very tasty. Hollie gave us great service for the several hours there while we watched the game! Will definitely eat here again.

Dine in bad customer service. We had burnt food even my brother in law is black. He said the French Fries were blacker then him. Ok look I get that you are short handed and it wasn't busy the day after Thanksgiving. Please next time maybe change the oil to where you cook your Fries If there is a next time show customer service and change your oil so the Fries are not blacker then my brother in law. Thanks

Five stars, the establishment has excellent coffee. Try giving at the tip jar after you visit. The service is top of the chain. The cups are warm.

A nice place in downtown Rapid City to have a drink with friends.

Thirsty's is probably our favorite "eats" place in The Hills, and we go there at least once every trip West. The staff makes you feel like a local, there's a great variety of local beverages (and the staff is knowledgeable about them), and the food is excellent. I would recommend the chislic and the Indian taco for something traditionally South Dakota. Delicious!

Over 30 beers on tap, plenty of big screens for all your sports, great atmosphere with lots of room, excellent service and great food! You will not be disappointed.

I was not a big of Thirsty's for kicking out a disabled veteran and his service dog over inadequate staff training. Then last night my chicken strips were fried rock hard, like guys thats a pretty easy dish to make... sorry but would not recommend to a friend
