Probably the vet best Vietnamese restaurant in St. Petersburg and Tampa fantastic authentic food

This is my go-to place for authentic Vietnamese Banh-mi sandwiches. I’ve had their lemongrass chicken banh mi, their special dac biet banh mi, and their fried pork banh mi. All are so delicious. They toast their baguettes so perfect and their pate they make in house is to die for!! I always ask for extra pate on the side because it’s so good!! We have ordered their fried rice and I’ve had their spring rolls. So good. Their fresh drinks are so fresh too. We usually order the large sugar cane juice or fresh orange juice and if they have ginger, we add that in as well. Overall, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Disc Rices and port grill less rices, rip like old food, “bun rieu” is ok, “pho” is little salt, i know small business no expect more.. but i’ve tried review truly and honestly with my tast!

The food here is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. I wish they would clean the tables and floors. That would be my only complaint.

Da Nang noodle soup was very plain, not to expectations. Authentic DN noodle soup should have special marinated chicken and pork fried together. The restaurant had sliced boiled pork instead. Pho was ok,3/5. We had better Pho elsewhere. Customer service was very good! Kudos!

I’m from out of town just stopping by for a quick bite. I had a solid banh mi sandwich at a great price. The bread was good and ingredients fresh. Highly recommend this place

It would be nice to actually be open during the hours that they say they operate. I have come by more than 4 times during the hours that it says they are open and there was nobody there...that's just really bad service. 👎

Excellent Che dessert. The banh mi wasn’t the best. There wasn’t enough meat and too much pickled veggies and no magi sauce. Very nice space tho so I will give it another try next time I’m up in st. Pete.

As soon as I smelled the fish sauce from the soup I knew this is the one. Great price, variety of items, no frills, just how authentic Asian food suppose to be eaten.

Delicious and fairly priced. The pho is the best around, so much better than any place on Central Ave. We also had the spring rolls which hit the spot, a delicious pork bahn mi, grilled pork fried rice, and a taro boba drink. Everything was absolutely delicious and made fresh to order. This is a super cute hole in the wall type small business we love to support!

Place is great! Gotta love small family owned restaurants. My wife and I were even talking about how their Pho just hits the spot by far compared to other Pho on Central. Bahn Mi and Spring Rolls are great as well!

Hands down the BEST banh mi in Saint Pete, if not pinellas county. Everything here is absolutely amazing. I go here at least once a week, and dream about it every day I am not there. Great prices, and truly the best food, they also have the best banh bao EVER and the most fragrant and delicious green tea. I love Thuy ❤️

I only get rare steak pho and if I didn't have to deal with it the next day id drink the whole bowl of broth here. 10/10

I enjoy this simple cafe for it's strong Vietnamese coffee, the real French bread sandwiches with the fresh tangy veggies over well flavored meats. Nice folks, reasonable price.

Located in a strip mall, I didn’t struggle to park but I can tell it would be difficult on certain days & times. The menu has a wide variety of Vietnamese options, including Bahn Mi. I tried the lemon pepper beef, it was sooo good. It didn’t look like it had much meat until I took a bite. The ratio was really good, and the bread was fresh and crunchy. I also had an iced coffee with tapioca pearls that was delicious, not overly sugared. I look forward to returning and trying other menu options

The pho is exceptional - very savory and rich with beef flavor. The boba drinks are very good too. Need to try more stuff on the menu. Service is a little slow and the place is not gourmet in decor and atmosphere but for authentic Vietnamese you can't beat it (has the smells too).

Bún bò Huế ở đây xuất sắc! Nước lèo trong, mặn mà vừa phải. Huyết mền, thịt nạc. Mình ăn nhiều nơi nhưng đây có lẽ là ngon nhất đối với mình. Điểm trừ là tiệm hơi nhỏ, ít bàn ghế nên đôi khi phải chờ. Nhưng mình không ngại điều đó. Có chờ lâu mà được ăn 1 tô bbh ngon như vậy cũng bõ công😁.

They have fresh fruit Boba Tea's, and they are so delicious! They even substituted with coconut milk for me because I am lactose intolerant. Also they have very yummy Bahn mi sandwiches!!

I had gotten the coffe boba slush and it was frozen frothy and delicious with just the right amount of coffee flavor not too much and not to little the staff was nice also :)

Excellent fresh spring rolls and banh mi!! The teas were amazing also! Beef jerky is a must, the sneaky sweet heat kept us coming back for more until our mouths were numb! We also came home with a shiitake mushroom and nori rice topper, kind of like a fresh-ish furikake that we're very excited to try! We will definitely be back for other hot dishes

Worst thing about this place is the parking lot. Just a lot of competition, a one way street, and very few spots. Once you're in the building, it's nice but hot. The portable air conditioners they had setup were trying their best, but it gets warm once it gets full on a hot day. We had three different bahn mi and split a boba tea. Everything was great, but the baguettes were amazing. Would stop by again if I saw a parking spot.

Beautifully plated food. Food is too good. If you like spicy, get the spicy beef noodle soup or bun bo hue. The special sandwich or banh mi is so delish. My kids absolutely adore the pho!!! Go here!!!! Good for families!!!

Cute little spot with great, friendly, fast service. We had the tofu banh mi and pho - I've been searching for pho this good for years! The broth was delicious, nice and rich and oniony and with the perfect balance of flavors. The banh mi was also fantastic with nice crispy fluffy bread and delicious pickled veggies and marinated tofu. We'll definitely be back!

It’s a very nice cozy restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered the Lemongrass Beef bowl and the beef was precooked tough and sprinkled with dry lemongrass seasoning. That’s not how you cook Vietnamese food. When you walk in the restaurant you don’t smell Vietnamese food. That should have been a warning.

Their Bahn Mi is good but doesn't come with a lot of meat, but if you add extra meat, it's perfect! I like grilled pork and lemongrass beef. They had a pretty good coconut jello cup in their fridge too. Some of their tables need to get cleaned better. The tables with cracks throughout have too many crumbs in between.

I got fried rice and two grilled chicken banh mi sandwiches! I also had two boba drinks! The banh mi was sooo good! My boyfriend enjoyed his fried rice. The taro milk tea was perfectly sweetened but I didn’t really like the tapioca boba. I will most definitely return to try the Pho!

Number one in Tampa Bay no question when it comes to Vietnamese . I’ve been coming here for years., I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never written a review before. No question these are the freshest ingredients . I just recently started doing the soups . I’ve tried different locations around when I travel for work, but they all come in 2nd place to Thuy Cafe .

Got Boba Tea and grilled pork sandwich. Sandwich was great. Better Banh mi than most places. The boba tea was pretty bad. Worst I've had. And the straws were too small for the pearls. Frustrating. If you're looking for boba go elsewhere

There are a few really good options for Pho in the St Pete/ Pinellas Park area, but Thuy cafe is probably the best.

This place is awesome! Especially for Boba and Bánh mi sandwiches! They have a great selection and vast choices I'm boba teas & drinks, lots to choose from! My favorite is Taro with boba Wifey got Rose with Lychee jelly Their choice and selection for Vietnamese sandwiches Bánh mi. The steak might be the best one I've had and definitely my favorite. The pork honey and shrimp also super delicious. It's a small location with few seats and tables but clean, super friendly and awesome.

Best Best passion fruit blend boba I visit 2 other and nothing compare to this one. I will need to come back to try the sandwich

If you here for the drinks than is good, but food wise, just average at best. The menu items are not in one location, some on menu, some on wall, some by the register.

Recieved a reg size but ordered and payed for a large. Also asked for no boba but got plenty.

Visited their tent at the SPIFFS event today, and had some of the best macarons ever in St Pete (even better than Cassis *gasp*). They were so good that we purchased an additional four packages to take home. My kids are totally in love with macarons- and who wouldn't be? Also, we had the shrimp on sugar cane, and that was lovely too, but could have used maybe lime? It was good, but could have been great, I think. Service was super friendly and encouraged me to think of their store front in future.

So far this is the best place for boba and pho I drive one and 35 minutes to come see the herb doctor and have to have their pho it’s so good keep up the good work and and banmi

I can't get further on the menu than the grilled pork sandwich/Banmi. - Fantastic. It's hard to beleive they can get that much flavor in a sub. - Haven't been to subway or firehouse since discovering this place.

Had the BBQ Beef short rib plate and also Grilled Pork plate, both served with rice and a *very small* serving of kim chee. Everything has a touch too much sugar for me however fresh, fresh and great quality food served here. Super nice service!

I moved to St Pete from Dallas and was searching and for the spot to eat a Bahn MI and OMG this place is where is at. The staff; Beyond Warm, Friendly and Amazing. I look forward to eat here many many times. I wanna try the entire menu 😀

This is a great little place! Great service and good food! The food menu is small but they have a large selection of buba tea and banh mi! I ordered the bun bo hue to try it out. It is decent and will try their bun Rieu next time. The best part is they have fresh Duong Mia! You don’t find that at a lot of places. Definitely give them a try if you haven’t.

Excellent boba tea! Like the slushy version instead of ice. It's cool they have connection to the local Vietnamese Society.

Been going here for the last 2-3 years so it’s been a little while (a bit of quality drop off) but overall visits Total 8-10; the Bahn Mi Sammys are delicious and would usually buy to feed my whole family (to go). Totally dig the noodle combos (shrimp & pork bun) + boba (1/2 the sugar) with lychee jellies. The fresh rolls are tasty too!!

We were excited to try this place based off all the reviews but I got one of the chicken dishes and the portion was smaller than I thought which is fine, but the chicken was SO rubbery and overcooked it was physically visible just how rubbery it was. I could not finish it. The inside of the cafe was also very dirt the tables all were gross as was the floor and there were big flies all over. Overall we were very dissatisfied and will not come here or recommend to anyone.

Always delicious food and courteous service. I get the shrimp banh mi with pork added and it's always on point. I get a mango boba smoothie with passion fruit juice instead of milk&sugar - refreshing and a little healthier.

The coffee is not vietnamese coffee. They put heavy cream sugar and coffee. Not correct. Supposed to be thick condensed milk and coffee.

I love this place! I haven't been back since before the pandemic, but it's still just as good as before. The Da Nang noodles are my favorite and the lemon pepper grilled beef banh mi was incredible. Their grass jelly drink and fresh sugar cane juice is also delicious. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. They offer a larger range of banh mi than I've seen at any other Vietnamese restaurant/cafe.

Great little strip mall Vietnamese cafe with tasty pho (noodle soups) and bahn mi (sandwiches). Very reasonable, excellent service, and tasty.
