We come here for the burgers with pair great with their delicious steak fries. Would recommend the mushroom Swiss burger. The buffalo chicken wrap is very good as well. Prices are fair. Will come back

Excellent Service tonight and great food. Sat on the patio and before we even sat in the chair, TJ appeared with menus and to take the drink order. Didn't get a picture of what I ordered because it was so delicious, but I had the Grilled Cheese on Rye and added tomato and bacon because why not! Thank you so much for the stellar service TJ!

OG local watering hole. Darts in the corner, great oval bar in the center. Don't sleep on the food either...everything is sneaky good.

Great town bar, warm atmosphere, friendly staff and good food.

Definite Miss: The Food was Once good, What Happened? I ordered takeout on St. Patrick’s Day, but this should not be an excuse for delivering subpar Irish-American fare. The service was confused and the food was not good, a colossal waste of money. Red flags went up when I called to place a takeout order. I had called when they first opened with some questions about the menu and I informed them that I would call back in a bit with the order. When I called to actually place the order I was informed that they were not taking to go orders over the phone . I informed the person that I was talking to that I had called earlier, my husband was on his way, as we do no longer live close, and I was told they were taking to go orders. The person on the phone said they had new people and they were misinformed and they would not take my order. My husband had to go in to place the order. Once he picked up the order and was about to leave, he witnessed people walking in with bags of corned beef! 1. This was by far the worst corned beef that I have ever eaten. It was tough, flavorless, and literally had juices because it was that dry. The accompanying carrots were not even closed to cooked. They were hard. The cabbage was hard to cut through. I ordered two platters, one came with horseradish. The mustard packets and butter need to be packed separately. 2. The Shepherd’s Pie left me wondering why they would sell this to people. The dish had almost zero potatoes and the meat was chewy, at best. The flavor was there, but 3. The fish and Chips was simply not good. There was no flavor in the fish and the fries were gross. The oil definitely needed to be changed. See photo. No pickle or lemon. The coleslaw was hot. It needs to be packed separately. 4. French Fries: Absolutely gross. Change the oil. This should have been done before opening. We ordered around noon. No to go utensils or napkins provided for a takeout order. Do better.

It's a great place to party on a Friday night. Good food, friendly staff, stiff drinks. They could have used another server or two, the place is packed tonight. The band is amazing, The Black Cross Band rocked the house, old school Stevie Ready Vaughn, ZZ Top, the band is burning the house down!

Its been a local stop for 30 years.. food has always been good, prices always affordable! Last of the "Local Spots" around Middlesex County... Dinners are perfect size and portions. Sandwiches, burgers all good. The last of the Blue Collar working man's bar and grill. If you're on a budget, want to eat... this is the place to stop in.!! The only negative... Live bands... they play ~ "TOO LOUD !!! " ~ you cannot hold a conversation with someone.. With Music BLASTING ! its a small bar 2000sqrft.. If they had a built in system to accommodate- clarity...,, it would bring more business.

Bar had spills on it . Should be cleaned . They had live band that night then were very good . No one asked if I wanted found if they had any . Sad almost 5 bucks for a beer you can get a six pack for nit much more lol . Don't know how much draft beer was ??? But beer was cold and tasted good hadn't been out in a while .

Cool atmosphere. Chili is really good, but the pot pie is awesome.

Went there to see the band Fully Loaded and they were excellent. Waitresses and bartenders were super friendly.

Edited from my first review... honestly im sitting in the place right now, not able to have a conversation w my husband, whos less than a foot away. I literally have to yell in his ear (and the waiters) to be able to say anything over the horrid band! Sounds like bad karaoke... Dosnt sound like they even did a sound check. We were going to order food, but we're just trying to hurry through our drinks so we can leave. Original post: Not a bad local place, music on weekends n good drinks. Food is kinda "eh", but good for the casual night out.

The bartenders were very accommodating to our large bday party. Great service.. We went there because of the band. Always a good time ar Kerwins. Good food too EXCEPT the BBQ plates! Just meats DROWNED in BBQ sauce. Avoid them! Even the Brisket Sandwich.

****BEWARE**** BARTENDERS ARE THEIVES HERE!! Went there for the first time yesterday for the Halloween party. Ordered and drink and received change for a $10 when I definitely know that I gave the older lady bartender a $20! She denied it! Then later, with around $20 in loose bills on the bar next to my drink, I went to the bathroom and as I opened the door to return to my seat, I saw another bartender take my money and clear the bar!. When I questioned her, she denied it! I would expect this type of low class behavior in Trenton or Newark!!

Staff is friendly prices are good , but no matter what drink I order something tastes off. Wish they could make the drinks better and get a better selection liquor. Food is good from the stuff I've tried. Every bourbon and whiskey drink I've tried is wrong . Left after taking one sip of my last drink to the liquor store and bought my own bottle unfortunately. Hope they can turn it around , place has alot of potential.

Great Irish atmosphere that is kind on the wallet

Went for lunch on St. Patrick’s Day for the first time. Nice atmosphere, good service. The corned beef however was tough and fatty. Very disappointing - won’t go back.

My husband and I went for St Paddy’s Day, we were looking forward to the corned beef, it was very tough. What a disappointment. You would think they would have top quality corned beef, especially on St. Patrick’s Day.

Tim and his staff did an excellent job of taking care of a special catering request. They were attentive and courteous. Not to mention EVERYONE loved the food and kept coming back for more. If you want Fish and Chips… Tim Kerwins’s is the place to get it! Just a foot note… I just tried to place an order. Apparently, if they’re busy the level of service may change. (Not gonna change my rating though, the fish and chips are really good.)

We were able to eat and drink indoors and the food was very good.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner after being in the general area..for some other function...it has got too be almost 20-25 yrs since I've been here..my kids were young if I remember correctly ...enough said about my long time I missed....all I can say..the bartender/server was pleasant..and attentive..what the misses and I had ordered came out as expected....food was real good...service was real good ..atmosphere...well..its a bar/resturaunt ..but it was nice..I no doubt will come back here sgain... and quite honest..I won't wait all those yrs I had...i shall come back again soon

Picked a place to bring my 86 year old mother in-law. I've been to this bar years past for St. Patrick's day in the late 1980's. Tripadvisor rated this palce 5 stars so i decided to give it a go. Most of the food we ordered I would consider bar food but it was delicous. My french onion soup was really good and ceasar salad was great. The filet mignon Diane was perfect with a generous portion of vegetables.. My sweet potato fires were so good I had to take what I couldn't finish home. The service was super friendly. I'm coming back to this place.

Corned beef was the most tender I have ever eaten. Very generous portions of that, carrots, cabbage, & terrific potatoes. So glad I learned of Barstool on "The Tucker Carlson" show when David Portnoy was Tucker's guest. David is leading such a fantastic initiative! W/out his funding, wouldn't know ab Kerwyn's. & on that busy nite, of 3/17, Mr. Kerwyn took X 2 welcome us. I was happy 2 tell him ab his I learned of his spot. "I shall return."

Not as much fun as it used to be

Gave it five stars because Google won't let me give it any higher. These guys were my COVID survival to turn to for take out when stuff was shut. The fish and chips are great, the burgers are big and plentiful. They have an awesome cook!

Hopefully bands we will be back at Tim Kerwins once the covid 19 epidemic slows down.... Excellent place for food, for drinks, and to see bands... Lived in the area for 35 years. 30 years ago I patronized this establishment. Terrible. Not entered since that time. We went with another couple who frequents this establishment and said it has changed. Well, we went this week, and it was as they described. The service was excellent, the food excellent, the cocktails excellent.

Great place just to hang out on the weekend. Food is bomb. Service is bomb. Good to kick back a few after work too. Just to relax. Enjoy the game with friends. Conversation starter. Great for a first date too. Good vibes and music. Love this place.

Occasionally have great bands. Food is good. Moderately priced. $15 min. on credit cards but fail to tell you until you pay. Noisy place. Nice dance floor. Tables first come, first served.
