We've always loved Tim's food,however, the Mac n cheese is suddenly terrible. We normally order a large bc it used to be so good. I'm thoroughly upset. Spent $50 & the food is not up to par. Please bring back the good Mac n cheese or warn a person next time

Tim did a great job of catering our Labor Day picnic and his prices are extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get when you stop by for lunch or dinner. Best BBQ in Gibson County, if not Southwestern Indiana.

Tim is a "Sauce Boss"! Have been coming to him for years, he deserves to have a bigger building with sit down dining but we'll take what we can get! 10/10

I found the "Signature Sauce" on the ribs a bit too sweet and over powering, I guess I just prefer a dry rubbed rib with a bit of sauce just glazed on , not smothered in it.

Don't know about the BBQ, but we had "AWESOME" rib eye sandwiches last night. The best I've ever had. We got carry out and it was very fast.

Visiting from Detroit, always looking for good BBQ and supporting local businesses. I tried the Tim's Awesome Sampler with St Lou ribs and BBQ beans and mac n' cheese. I could not eat it all, but it was amazing Thank you again, some of the best on the road thus far! Cute nostalgic place, looks like it could have been a gas station at one time. Super cool.They have a lot of dessert, too full to think about it. price was good too, under $15 for all that.

While in Princeton today we decided to have lunch. There are several BBQ restaurants in town. We decided to give Tim's Awesome BBQ a try. The service was quick and the food was delicious. We chose the pulled pork lunch special which comes with two sides. We chose potato salad and coleslaw. Everything was very good. Tim's was a good selection, we'll definitely be repeat customers. Great job!

Great barbecue we eat here a lot great service

Ribs were good, but the employee who took our order could listen better. We placed a large order for a work dinner and we asked for extra sauce and Mac and cheese and baked beans for sides. The employees at this establishment decided on their own that we needed what they wanted to give us for sides and that we didn’t really need any extra sauce. The lady who answered the phone on the two occasions my coworker called evidently did not care to sell any ribs with her poor attitude. All in all there are too many good rib joints out there to repeat business where it apparently isn’t wanted anyway.

Absolutely amazing ribs. Service is great as well. You might be a little skeptical pulling into an old worn down gas station but trust me, don't let that deter you. If Tim gets a second away from the kitchen he'll come out and check on how everything is and the waitress never lets your drink run low or make you feel like your anything but welcome and appreciated. However many awards there are hanging on the wall, there aren't enough. The name says it all!

Waitress was rude and killed a fly with her hand on the table beside us. She went on about her business without taking time to wash her hands. Her comment to me when I called her out on it was “what would you have me do? Leave it to fly around and bother people.” Downright nasty!

Tim and his wife are the owners and are on site. BBQ is delicious. We've had pulled pork, baby back ribs and fried fish. Everything is always fresh and we are always promptly greeted when we arrive. They have a variety of sides. We have gotten carry out many times but have also eaten in the restaurant.

Pretty good taste, but the pulled pork sandwich had almost no meat on it for lunch. It had more onion and pickle then meat

Awesome BBQ it is!! We've traveled all over the USA, and Tim's is the best of the best BBQ by far!!! What a hidden gem Princeton IN has here. Take outs welcome. Their whole menu is delicious - tender meats, variety of tasty sides, desserts too! Full plate of food!

Tim cooks and his wife is the waitress and cashier and everything else. If you are lucky, their granddaughter will be their to help them (child). The BBQ is great, the sides are home made, and the pie is a great finisher. The portions are generous. If you have not seen it, the restaurant is a converted gas station building. I highly recommend it.

This barbeque IS awesome. My husband and friends report that this is the best fish in town. The quality of food is always good. My favorite are the rib tips. The side dishes are always good. Pricing is good. We have never been disappointed with the food here. The business is on the beaten path, and easy to find. This is a small business, and you will have personal attention from the the owners. Friendly, really good food with some dessert options.

Stopped by for a late lunch and was blown away by how delicious everything was! We ordered the baby back rib dinner and the rib tip dinner. Both plates were piled high with delicious, tender, flavorful meat! We also tried the mac & cheese, loaded baked potato salad, sweet potato casserole & baked beans. All of the sides were EXCELLENT! Friendly service and great ambiance! We will be back!

Definitely a diamond in the rough! Everything I've ever tasted on his menu is superb. His loaded baked potato salad and baked beans are the best I have ever had. His ribs and pulled pork are delicious and my kids love his macaroni and cheese. Not very fancy accommodations but the friendly service and the awesome food makes up any lack of ambiance. Tim's awesome BBQ is most indeed awesome!

When we are grilling we get our bake beans from here best I have ever had. When I walk in they get them they know what I want.

Tim's has all kinds of meats Tim does all the smoking and grilling. they have seeting inside or you can go in and pick up a to go order. Tim's is very friendly and the food is always excellent

We really like their BBQ here, sweet and smokey. Their sides are very good too especially the sweet potato casserole when in season. Get there early because sometimes they sell out of your favorites. They have heavy take out traffic!

My daughter and I stopped for lunch. The brisket and pulled pork were very tasty! The potato salad and vineger slaw was great too. The service made us feel welcome. My daughter and I found the dining room was comfortable and spacious. Tim knows how to make wonderful BBQ!

I was not impressed with this Barbecue restaurant. The service was lighting fast but the Ribs were drowned in sauce and cold. I prefer "naked" barbecue to add sauce as I see fit so if sauce makes your barbecue you may like it. Excess sauce just hides good barbecue. I was even more disappointed with the "Tim's Awesome Barbecue Baked Potato" that was just a baked potato that up-charged me to displace both of my sides. The a Styrofoam cup of water was a twenty-five cent upcharge, butter was too, and sour cream up-charged sixty cents.

We journeyed to Princeton, In. in part to try this BBQ restaurant. The building is a converted service station, no I do not judge a book by it's cover. Though being greeted by a large half filled trash barrel upon entering was less than appetizing,( relocation of receptacle perhaps) . The restaurants seats 32 in an offset dining area. We were promptly seated, given menus and placed drink orders as at this time we are the only patrons. Inquiring about menu items was met with curtness though we did remain and placed our order, consisting of sliced brisket, country and St .Louis Style ribs, pulled pork, baked beans ( one of two" house made" sides offered), mac'n cheese, and vinegar slaw. Food was delivered soon after on disposable table wear. The portions were adequate, requiring a "to go box" the brisket was sliced, tender, moist, very flavorful displaying an adequate smoke ring. The ribs did not have as much smoke flavor, or smoke ring though both cuts were also moist and tender with a good bite. The pulled pork also moist and tender. Sides were nothing outstanding yet acceptable. Now for the not so great. We ordered one piece of cherry pie which my companion declared was delicious to the last bite, on the other hand the chess pie relocated to the bin when we returned home due to questionable freshness. Will I give this place another go? Yes I believe I will.

This is the best bbq . And their sour cream potato salad is so oooo good also . I could eat there once a week anyway. We all love it . Tim has been doing this for many years and has got it down right . The baked beans are very good also . The ribs are a favorite of mine and it is priced just right .

I've eaten Tim's Awesome BBQ since before he had his restaurant. It's delicious! The ribs (both St. Louis & Baby Back) are tender & fall off the bone. The smoked corn-on-the-cob is real sweet corn not what some people pass off as sweet corn. It's tender, sweet & cooked just right. His BBQ baked beans are to die for. Sweet & tangy with a great smoky flavor with pieces of BBQ in with the beans. Dawn's home-made pies are quite good. I'm partial to her cherry pie. My cousin, Mike, likes her apple pie but those aren't your only choices. I highly suggest you check it out yourself. You won't be sorry!

Pleasantly Surprised by Tims. I tried the Pulled Pork sandwich and the Brisket. The Pulled Pork was pretty good. It had a pretty mild flavor over all without a lot of seasoning. Next time I might ask for extra sauce. The Brisket was excellent. It was moist, tender and delicious. Some of the best brisket I have ever had at a restaurant. At a lot of places the brisket is tough and dry and seems like its been sitting around for a while, but the brisket at Tim's was was really really good. I would definitely go back for more brisket.
