Amazing sushi, best in all of glassboro for the price. The owner was awesome.

Had to give at least one star to review! Not happy about that at all! I ate there today and paid my bill. I didn’t leave a tip on my card because I thought the company I went with left cash on the table. Long story short I left my phone inside after paying. I sent my brother in to grab my phone. The manager said I had to come in to get in. As I came in I saw my attending waitress see me and turn around to tell the manager I was in. The manager comes from the back with my phone in one hand and the open checkbook in another. He proceeds to tell me there was no tip on the card. I said I know “he” which was my company had the cash. He proceeds to tell me there was no cash on the table. All the while still holding my phone in his hand close to his body. I said I paid the bill and “he” had the cash. He continued to keep talking about the tip. I became furious and said “are you trying to hold my phone hostage because there is no tip on the card?” He tiptoed around the question and was still concerned about the tip. I had to literally snatch my phone out of his hand. He mumbled and said “don’t come back here no more.” I wouldn’t want to come back to an establishment that thought they had any right to hold my phone for a tip any day. I immediately called the Glassboro police to sign a complaint on him. I am calling the BBB as well. I should sue him for causing so much anxiety and frustration. Businesses aren’t going to make it chasing customers for a tip. Pay your people more and be fair so they don’t have to live on tips. Shame on you!!!!!!!

Nice Asian restaurant serving Chinese, Japanese, and Thai, dishes. Big portions, good service and friendly staff. I ordered the chicken pad Thai which was disappointing. There was no tamarind in the pad Thai! So not technically pad Thai. I don't think they added fish sauce either. It was very bland and sad. Everything else was great.

I was surprised to see that rice was not a side in some dishes, such as General Taos Chicken. Rice took up a third of the container. For the price I was disappointed. However, the food was good. First time experiencing it compared to other Tokyo Mandarin establishments I've visited.

Chicken Yakiudon was tasty, but not as stir-fried as I thought it'd be. Good quality noodles though; filled me right up.

Very delicious! The Pepper Steak was the best we have ever had! It had so much flavor and the beef was nice and tender. The lunch Vegetable Delight was very good and has a white sauce. I really liked the sweet and sour soup and it was filled with lots of veggies and things. Not too spicy. My sister got a lunch Bento box spicy tuna and she loved it. So much food. I highly recommend!

We came here because we were visiting Rowan University and it’s close to the school. We were wanting Asian food, so we selected this place. The reviews looked good, and the menu had a lot of offerings that could satisfy anyone. When we came, the place was empty, which did not seem like a good sign, but we were proven wrong. They brought out some fried noodles with sauce, which was a nice touch. I got the chicken with broccoli lunch special which comes with a small soup. The value of the lunch special was fantastic, also. Under $10 for an amazing meal. I chose the wonton soup for my soup, and it was amazing! The wontons had a little less meat than I was hoping for, but the flavor was still great. The chicken with broccoli meal was delicious, with a thick brown sauce. The pork fried rice that came with it was very flavorful. The service was amazing, and the food was hot and fresh tasting. We really enjoyed it here, and would definitely come again.

Tony, my favorite sushi chef, created a special jalapeño roll just for me! My server, Rita, was happy that I was happy!! Banging sushi and attentive, friendly, service every time!!

Food is always fresh and cold\hot depending on if you ordered sushi or a cooked dish. A little light on wait staff during the pandemic, but the waiter was still friendly.

My family mostly uses carry out. We have been patronizing the Glassboro restaurant for years (ever since the renovation). We felt that the quality ingredients used were worth the extra cost. However, it seems that since the pandemic the food quality has gone down. For example, the sesame chicken doesn't have sesame seeds, the last order, placed on 12/25/23 was soggy, not crispy. It has occurred to me that at some time during the pandemic this location broke off with the main "Mandarin Group Chain." I am not sure if that is the difference, but something has obviously changed.

2years ago. Always consistent good food! Tastes fresh! Very nice place for dine in .The food has always been excellent . You will never be disappointed when you dine in or take out . Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I like to support local businesses but we’re extremely disappointed in service food and overall customer appreciation, I’m sure others enjoy this restaurant and hope they were having a off/bad day/night but I will not be spending my hard earned money here again, there are many other local businesses who respect and appreciate their customers.

I ordered takeout the other night and really enjoyed it. Everything was meticulously packed, I ordered for a group of people and not one item was missing, even all the sauces were there. The food was delicious, their egg rolls were extra crispy, I loved the general Tso’s. Highly recommend.

I was assuming all the food was cooked now I realize that it's raw fish product and I don't eat raw so I didn't give it a try but thank you

8/6/23 haven’t been here in a while and I am happy to say that their food is just as good as it was! Prices went up a bit but that’s ok. Portion size were good too. Crab Rangon were best had! Gen Tso Chicken - excellent! Even practiced my Mandarin! Lol Happy to see some business have not cut back and kept their service and food at top level! 4 years ago. Always consistent good food! Tastes fresh! Very nice place for take out. Have not dined in yet

The food is absolutely delicious, however I have to be absolutely honest that it’s very pricey for such a small amount of food. The man whom greets me when I enter and grab my carry out is not very friendly or welcoming either.

This is a wonderful place to eat. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Your meals are made to fit the order. Dine in and have some hot tea with your meal. It's a great experience.

My parents favorite place to eat, when we come to town we always make it a point to grab a bite here. My wife and daughter love the sushi. Dad loves their orange chicken.

I enjoy their food it’s fresh and tastes good. When I first moved to the area I asked around. One day I was in a shop and asked where to go for great Chinese food. The shop keepers recommended Tokyo Mandarin. Now I’m recommending it to others.

We ordered $80 worth of sushi as well as some appetizers and 1 LARGE Chicken and Broccoli. I have shared a photo of what they consider a large container of Chicken and broccoli. I am not sure if they made a mistake or if that is the new large.

Our favorite sushi spot. Chinese food is also excellent, We moved to Mexico 5 years ago. No good sushi here. They all use cream cheese. Yuck. Wish we could come back for just one more night at Tokyo Mandarin and be waited on by Kai. It would be a dream come true.

This place has some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The service and people were great, and our waitress was attentive and sweet. I got the Kamakazi Maki roll, and it was absolutely fantastic. It was well worth its price, and I will be full the rest of the day. We also got the Yellow submarine, and it was just as good as the Kamakazi Maki. I really really recommend this place to anyone in the area, it’s awesome!!

This place used to be good about a year ago… within the last couple of months they must have changed ownership or something. I ordered sushi tonight (Spicy Tuna Roll) and it was very very fishy I was only able to eat one piece and wanted to throw up … something was not right. The General Tso Chicken is now extremely spicy when before it was not… the quality of food at this place has gone downhill tremendously… I will never order sushi from here again and risk the possibility of food poisoning. Very disappointed.

My mom brought me here over the holiday, reporting that it's one of her favorite local restaurants, and I completely see why: the atmosphere is quiet and cheerful, and it strikes a beautiful experiential balance by grabbing the best parts of a higher-end asian restaurant experience (complimentary hot tea; high-quality fresh sashimi) without going so hard on everything that the price point would have gotten unfriendly.

It's my favorite Chinese/Japanese cuisine when I'm in the Glassboro area. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the staff is wonderful!

I throughly enjoyed my experience dining here. Salad and chips were provided free of charge and the Udon and tempura shrimp were very tasty.

I love this restaurant! I'm a huge dumpling fan and they have the most authentic delicious ones in town! While I visit I eat here almost daily! Great owners and workers to! It's a real experience!One of my favorite local locations.You won't find better Japanese food!

Great service! Especially now during the pandemic you worry how some places will be, but here my worrys are gone. They give you hand sanitizer and anti bacterial wipes at the table. The service was so quick and I had a party of 4. The food was hot and fresh, honestly my night couldn't have gone any better there. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. 10/10 a great spot to eat at, especially at night 👏🏽.

This is a lovely place for dine in and is very clean. Our service was prompt and friendly. My food left something to be desired. The dish called for both meat and shrimp. The meat was hard to find and the shrimp were pre cooked and right out of the refrigerator, since some were warm while the rest were cold. The spice was just black pepper sprinkled over the top.

We love going there and sitting in the back corner booth and getting our favorite dish the kamikaze and sip some hot Chinese Tea. It's not crazy expensive and the service is always on point. It's our spot right now, what can I say.

The best sushi!! I always order the Lobster Tango roll, it's been my favorite for years, even though it's not on the menu they still make it for me. The other chefs specialty rolls are also delicious! Definitely recommended.

Had a great lunch really enjoyed the Angry Lobster sushi. We all enjoyed our meals. For an appetizer we shared the wonton soup and a scallion pancake. My daughter had three sushi rolls, I had the Seven Wonders and my wife had the General Tso Bento box. We all really loved it definitely will go back again.

This was always our favorite sushi restaurant in the area. We have supported the restaurant by getting take out during Covid. However, the last two recent take outs were subpar - the rolls were put together sloppily and the special roll advertised as spicy was not that interesting. What was previously carefully assembled sushi, was just not that.

Ehhh... its honestly hit or miss

After a long family vacation we were not ready to cook dinner and called for a quick meal. The food was delicious from apps to soup to the entrees. We enjoyed everything we ordered, the Singapore Street Rice Noodles was especially delicious. We will definitely order again.

Fresh sushi and Udon Noodle Stir Fry

This is the best restaurant we have eaten in in Glassboro. Even the mandatory COViD takeout menu, service and complements were impressive. At the two other Chinese restaurants in town, one didn't provide the napkins, another supplied old fortune cookies. The Pad Thai and Cold Sesame Noodles for 20 dollars with soda were worth it. The sesame noodles alone at 3.50 could be a lunch. Sauce on the pad Thai was exquisite. The loss of a star was for the sushi chef who wavered on letting me use the restroom on a hot day while I waited. He stood around doing nothing to accommodate us and in this pandemic era, these reviews can make or break you. Enjoy. We will go nowhere else in this town but Rita's.

Food was good quality. However some of the rolls were cut uneven. Which made for two tiny slivers of fish on two of the rolls. The server was rude. I sat down at the empty bar. He then sat me at a table for no reason that I noticed. He also made a smart comment on the large amount of food i ordered.

My husband and I have frequented Mandarin Court in Sewell. We finally decided to try Tokyo Court in Glassboro.. OMG the food was delicious and it’s so much closer to home. “Our new Asian Eatery” 😉

Tokyo Mandarin is in a college town on a busy street. They have very tasty sushi. The price on regular days is about average and quality for the money, but not cheap. Wednesday however, they have 50% off sushi. Wednesday's is a deal and they don't give half sized portions. They don't allow take out on 50% off stuff so be warned. They also allow BYO so that make it an even better deal if you like wine with a meal.

Terrific Chinese and Japanese fare in the heart of Glassboro.

Salmon Teryaki is my favorite dish. Dining here for over a decade even remember the neon lights. Clean, friendly and tasty, bordering on the cusp of mouth watering.

One of our favorite places. The food is always fresh and I find the staff very friendly. The environment is casual and you'll find folks dressed up as well as folks with baseball caps in at the same time. Feels a little weird, but everyone acts like adults so it isn't an issue in terms of disturbing your dining experience. Is byob and they will supply s bucket of ice if you need it. Recommend the sushi and sadhimi deluxe or for two, the prawns in sweet chili or sweet creamy sauce and the crab Rangoon. Can't go wing with those.

Intimate & newly renovated. Love the food at this great restaurant. Whether eat in or take out their food is top shelf. We mix it up with their Hot & Sour Soup, egg rolls, Chicken & Broccoli, General Tso's & pork fried rice.

Food is good and nice atmosphere but i wish they offered more variety of sushi. The service is slow. And if you order a soda you get a can.
