Arrived at 1:10 pm, ordered a combo meal, but they said they couldn’t give me fries as the fryer was down to clean. What restaurant does this at 1:00 pm?? Very dissatisfied!!

Not ever too busy which is nice who wants to arm to arm *cough red lobster fashion place location lmao.. same staff is nice because then they remember you and treat u how they wanna be treated lol yeah this place was n is amazing try that patty melt I think it is so fuegoooo ♡

The place is nice and the snacks are great. The staff are attentive and always willing to help with suggesting combinations. The surrounding view is charming! It's very worth knowing.

I’ve been to this place a few years ago and I thought it was really good. Today however things were much different. For starters the total cost of my meal with my five person family including me was 110 dollars. That’s asking a lot so I thought the food must be good. The fries came out cold and soggy. The burgers and shakes were pretty good. But for 110 dollars im probably never going there again unless they add like a meal or make their fries better back to what it used to be.

Food was cooked well and with our customizations, tasted very nice and was presented well. Restaurant was clean and inviting. There’s an ordering kiosk which I’m always a fan of, I know it helps relieve a bit of the work from the employees.

Been a couple of times. Food was obviously sabatoged. Poorly presented, fries are cold on the inside, not cooked in the middle somehow, new 9ne for me. Burger was smashed, into 3 pieces. Cooked, obviously didn't see pink. They go through employees like tissues so expect new people everyday. Location is not ideal, you have to walk after parking.

Food was amazing fresh and fast. The service was amazing helping me decide what to pick very helpful. I would definitely return again with my family.

As I was standing in line waiting to be helped for 5 minutes I noticed their walk in fridge door was left open. The workers paid no attention to the 3 of us in line waiting to order or pickup online orders for over 5 min so who knows how long that fridge was left open. Meat and cheese stored closest to the door in plain sight.

I had so many problems with this Tony buger. Every time I have oder from this location, it never gets done right For example, I ordered to add bacon on my buger. When i got my buger, I had none on it. This has happened so many times now. I give up

Тексас! Ready to order burgers that know people that cook them and care for them. I love the whipped chicken and whoop whooped chicken then the sauces aren't so good but ho sauce was good. Make sure to open one from the counter. It's got spices in the glass I love it

We got the Southern Burger, lettuce wrap and fries. Found a pigeon hair in my burger and fries were soggy and burnt like hell and the lettuce was basically expired.

When Tonyburger in Holladay first opened years ago, they were phenomenal. They consistently had great food. They had the absolute best fries out there. Fresh, crispy, golden and delicious. The last several times we’ve gone there, it’s noticeably deteriorated. This last time, I decided to post a review with the hopes that management sees it and makes changes. The fries today were not edible. They were way overcooked, brown, stale and soggy and basically gross. It appears to me that these fries were sitting for a long time and someone put them back in the fryer for my order. The main reason we ordered from Tonyburgers was for their fries. I get that delivery fries will never be as good as dine-in fries, but we live less than a mile from the restaurant. They should have been fresh. This isn’t the case. Disappointed. Also, the last several times I went into the restaurant, the floors were nasty. Greasy, dirty and sticky. Says a lot about their cleanliness habits. They need to do better. The burger was good, but not being able to have it with fries was a bummer.

For $10 a burger I just expected more. The “Big Tony“ left me unsatisfied and not wanting to return. My burger was anything but juicy; charred to a crisp. Tiny single tomato slice and flavorless. Lettuce and bun were fine, but when they’re the best thing, you know there’s something wrong. Place was relatively clean. I hear the shakes are really their best menu item now. Disappointed.

Only the Staff get 5⭐'s... The management's solution to being understaffed* was to put up Big signs to encourage patrons to stop complaining and say something nice. *Understaffed means one burger flipper and one pleasant but harried Cashier who took orders, money and handed out #'d pedestals...then, husted over to quickly decorate burgers and sack and start some more fries...then, run out to the #'d tables to deliver and grab an armload of table garbage and dump that B4 starting her routine over again... Just wrong...and my concern for her def influenced the enjoyment of my burger and... comments here...Yup, a typical $12 buck burger...

I've come here a couple times as I am a local and the food is great! My only complaint is how long the food takes sometimes

It’s strange because this is a chain restaurant I would expect the same prices and menu as the other locations but this location is more expensive, doesn’t offer combos, charges for each separate topping, and it’s fries portion is TINY compared other Tonyburgers. The fries were also burnt. The staff got the order wrong, they were out of condiments and the condiment station was messy, the dining area floor looked like it hadn’t been swept all day. Behind the counter was messy and floor dirty as well. We were there at 8pm on a Friday and the place was totally dead with upwards of 6 employees all hanging around chatting.

Showed up for take out order. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to make cheese curds while my burgers sat in the bag behind the counter getting cold the entire time.

Went to Tony Burgers Holladay for a quick takeout for five last Friday. Only one order taker who didn't appear to know how to use the system. Only one other worker. After 15 minutes waiting to order, we walked across the street to Crown Burger Take Out. They had at least ten workers and served us immediately. No contest.

Places that don’t accept cash are a joke. Terrible service

I went here expecting a great experience as it has 4.3 stars. Food was good but service was awful. Not to mention this place is quite pricey for fast food. took 30 minutes to get food and I was the only person there. Rude servers. Would give 0 stars under service if I could. Finally got food after we were harassed. Won’t be coming again

Tasty but expensive burgers. Fries were okay but the service was off-putting. They must have been having some challenges behind the counter because it was definitely and unfriendly vibe. Fom when we placed our order to when it was delivered to the table, it felt like we were a bother. Hopefully our experience was the exception. The food deserves a second chance but a return is not high on my list.

Waited almost an hour for a raw burger. All the customers were very upset, and several people received pink meat. Very dangerous. That being said, a lot of the staff was trying very hard, I felt really bad for some of them. I hope they can turn this around soon.

Overpriced for what you get. Burger was good, but not worth $10. Shakes are overpriced and very average. Not a bad place to eat, but not somewhere I'll eat at again.

So we love tony burgers but was seriously disappointed Sunday when we went in. My order and my husband’s were screwed up. I hate pickles with a passion so I didn’t want any while my husband gets just about everything on his. I got his tomatoes and pickles in my burger. We had to wait 6-8 minutes for his malt to come out after the food because they said they were busy. Mind you there was a total of 6 people in the restaurant and they were all eating so that was a piss poor excuse. When I pointed out to the older lady that our burgers were wrong, she laughed and said the young boy cashier didn’t understand, didn’t understand English is my guess. Plus how did it get screwed up when the order read correctly? $46 for 2 burgers they should’ve been perfect. I would have thought they’d remake the burgers or give us a credit, they didn’t. Oh my the way he messed up with husbands drink, forgot to get it in order so we paid the other $2.60 for the drink but had to put both orders on my debit card since they take no cash, can you believe that? 100% plastic only. But they asked for a tool when we placed the order, for what? Delivering my tray of food 12’ from kitchen to our table. It’s going to be a long time til we go back. Btw cashier also cancelled where you put your phone number for rewards so I didn’t even get credit for that.

Food here is really good but service was not great today. They made mine and my aunt burgers completely wrong and I took mine back cause it had mushrooms and mushrooms make me sick I can’t digest them well and the cooks looked at me like I was stupid and kept asking what I want and I showed the receipt and she threw it away and started yelling at the worker they both looked at me like this was such an issue. So they ended up using the same burger just took things off of it. I work in food and that’s a serious no no. I know it’s not that difficult to grill a new burger. It’s their mistake so they should just make a new one. I really like this place but the way I was just treated was so disappointing it’s not ok. Please tell your cooks to maybe be a little kind and to not just take things off and put new things on.

My wife doesn't like messy burgers.

Got the Tony Burger build your own! Love it. Beef was great and the bun was perfect. Get to pick your toppings! The fries are good and the fry sauce is good too.

Went to Tonyburgers today for the first time with my wife for lunch today. She's been telling me how great it is. Well it lived up to her hype. Pretty much the best burger ever! Quality all around. New favorite 😍!

Crowded dirty the wipes to wipe down your own table before sitting were out. The line was long and using the kiosk was confusing they would just yell your name in a busy laud restaurant and hope you hear it or they take your food back.

AUG 2023: Upscale burger joint with variety of burger options, pricey sides, clean facility, bilingual staff. I’d go back again for date night or for a shake!

Haven't been here for about 18 months. We have missed out. Great hamburger, cooked just right. Really good fries. Really delicious raspberry shake. I miss the televisions. Will be back for more.

Ordered it to go once I saw the cleanliness of the facilities. There was two other groups dining in, and yet more than half the tables were dirty. The food was solid, but I was still hungry after finishing my burger. Definitely not worth the price in my eyes, and probably won’t be coming back.

We've eating at multiple locations for Tonyburgers. This is a premium burger, not fast food. No matter the location the burgers are consistently good and the service has always been friendly. For a premium burger place, the speed of the service has never disappointed. We took one star off the rating only because the fries and onion rings (more like onion strings) are the tiny kind and more than half the time they are to soggy/soft for our liking. Even with the fries and onion rings we still go there regularly.

Love it but Way over priced compared to other locations.

What a great place to eat!!! Customer service was great! The food was so good my daughter can’t wait to come back ! And believe me that means something. You couldn’t ask for a better server than Lulu. This is definitely a place we will return again and again! Thanks Lulu!

Customer service was absolutely terrible this guy with glasses kicked out my friend cause he was gonna pay with cash and didn’t let him in and that he was very inpatient

Never been to Tony's burgers before. It was really good. The fries were good but I wish they would cut them thicker. Had a yummy leprechaun shake. Wish it was a little thicker as well. But overall really good!

Last couple times in here with only 1-3 other group seated, tables are still dirty. They have a container for wipes that say in case we don’t get to clean the table in time. They really mean clean your own table. They had plenty of time and booth tables are still a mess. Wipe dispenser was also empty. Had to go get wipes from my car. Now they have a sign that says they are going cashless. Soon they won’t accept cash. Really? Who doesn’t accept cash? That’s how I pay. I paid cash for the $36 for 2 burgers, 2 drinks and 2 onion rings. Which is expensive but it’s fine once in a while since it’s pretty good but the lack of cleanliness and no cash accepted has ended my visits to tony burger. Good luck. You’re going to need it.

Play me, and my friends went to Tonyburgers to get a delicious meal. we sat down for a second just to see what we wanted and to look at the menu, and one of the workers came over and said that we were allowed to order food and made us leave. he said he was going to forcefully remove us from the building if we didn’t leave. we just wanted to have food.

Love this place they are always so friendly and food is always amazing

They left the door open when it was cold while we were eating there. There should be no need to do that if they have proper ventilation for the smoke

Amazing burgers!! I wish the fries were bigger, but the fry sauce was good.

I don't blame the owners but when I was in highschool 6 years ago this was the place to be after a swim meet. Now I go in and a few tables are on their side. And most tables are not cleaned up it was saddening. Food still tasted good and the store was understaffed. Something about management or maybe a pay increase could help but I miss when the employees made this place my favorite place to be after a meet .

Rude. Dont do it. I emailed the manager about my last experience that by burger was burnt. And got absolutely no response. I want my money back. This review was a couple weeks before. No going back. My burger wasn't fully cooked all the way. I paid extra for onion strings and there weren't barely any on it. So little I couldn't even taste them. Also I mentioned last time they barely put any sauce on my burger I didn't want extra I just wanted a normal amount. They put it heavy on the top and the bottom bun. It was so much I couldn't finish my burger. When we got there no one was in line. We ordered and had to wait probably 20 mins for our food then they brought it out on a tray when I said I wanted it to go. He took the tray back to bag our food up and spilled a bunch of our frys. Also the floors were very dirty and sticky. I was really disappointed because I waited all week to go there.

Tables were filthy. Looked like they hadn’t been wiped down for days. Staff wouldn’t even let us borrow a rag to clean our own table. Almost walked out. Won’t be back.

If you’re going to let the skateboarders come in, order a drink, cause a ruckus, and take over the place, we’ll find another place to buy $20 hamburgers. Good but typically a zoo in Holladay.

It was blah, not very clean and zero salad options. They need to change their sign apparently. You have to clean your own table before you sit down (there's actually a sign telling you to). Only good was the fries. Enough to feed 4. Wouldn't return

I'm impressed. Super good Burger (ol' reliable), the fries were hot and tasty and the milkshake was excellent. Not the cheapest place but well worth it in my opinion. I'll be back!

I went with a six year old who claimed his tiny Tony meal was the best burger he's had in his life. We will be back! (Points for yummy impossible burger. I ordered it " Southern " style and wow. So good!! Thanks for considering and including non meat eaters)

Never been to Tony Burgers before. I will say the one in Holladay was really messy. All tables were dirty service was really bad. I expected a lot more out of this place. Probably won’t return.

Loved it. Such great tasting meat. Had a large Tony, lettuce wrapped and fries. They use a dedicated fryer for the fries so they are gluten free. Must try this place if you havent been yet.

Waited over an hour for our whole order. Had to remind them we had ordered shakes 3 times… The food was super good but the service was absolute garbage. If you have an hour to kill give it a try. If not save yourself some time and go to 5 Guys.

What a joke an hour wait and then the portions were tiny and almost completely melted like they had been sitting outside in the sun! Had to throw them in trash. Picture is of a double!!!!!!

I give them a 3 star because the burgers are tiny and super expensive and burnt but the fries are to die for even though there like 5.50$ for a large fry its worth it i just think they should call it tonyfries.

We love this place. We eat there as a family almost every Saturday for lunch.

Ordered ahead, food wasn’t ready when I got there at the promised time. I was told 5 minutes. 30 minutes go by. No food, no update. Others waiting had been waiting upwards of 45 minutes, with some of their food already done but just getting cold. Orders were being given out missing items. Ended up asking for a refund and left.. Went to 5 guys, and had a stellar experience. Unsure what the deal was but the service was really just bad. It wasn’t even that busy too. I really wanted to support a local joint but it was so inefficient and poorly organized. Disappointing.

If you're looking for a great burger, this is the place! You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to the next time.

Service has really gone down hill..

Great flavor, longer wait, meat slightly over-cooked. Service was pleasant. Restaurant was clean and fresh. Parking can be challenging at peak times.

My first visit to Tonyburgers. Very friendly and quick service, excellent burgers. I had an online/in-store discount code that wouldn't work online, so I went to the Holladay location in person. I'm not sure if that exact code was used, but the discount was applied with no problems. The only thing I might change is the fries. They were very tasty, but also pretty oily. It's not enough to keep us away, though. We'll definitely visit again!

Tables weren’t cleaned and the bathrooms were a mess and out of soap. Biggest problem was group of kids riding scooters and bikes through the restaurant repeatedly. Dangerous situation. When a guest asked them to leave, they started dropping F-bombs. No adult management, staff did nothing. Food was OK. Won't go back.

2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 drinks= $37. Nothing like an $18 combo meal to keep you from coming back.

I've eaten here before and I was always great food and pretty okay staff. Today was a bit different food was just alright and the staff didn't say a word to me, even while I was ordering. The cashier just stared at me until I ordered. So weird. The fries were okay, there were burnt bits of onion rings mixed in. The burger was fantastic as always, so at least that was consistent

Was at Black Diamond and wanted custard, found this super close. It’s been around forever. 3 flavors available but a boatload of topping (or mix in for a “concrete”. Only drive through open but I had parked so walked up and the nice fellow brought out my order. Soft and tasty- what else can I say. I’d get it again if I’m the area-

Not sure what was going on but all doors were locked at noon on a Tuesday. No employees to be seen but there was a large group eating that ignored me as I tried to find out what was happening. Voicemail was full so wasn’t able to leave a message. I made an online order that I would like refunded.

Tried the impossible burger. It was delicious. I personally like their fries. Never really impressed with the inside and the ordering line. But a nice straightforward menu.

When presented with a choice between a burger and a chicken sandwich, 9 times out of 10 I will choose the chicken sandwich. If it's coming from here, this will be that 1 time out of 10 every time. Can't recommend enough

I had ordered two burgers and the employees couldn't even get my order right. The burgers were SUPER DRY. The dining room littered with filth. Dirty tables, no napkins. This was my first and last time in this store.

Used to be good and a cool environment to eat at. Now. The quality, service, and environment has gone downhill while the prices ( which were high in the first place) have stayed the same. And it made it worse that there was a group of teenagers in there causing all sorts of chaos, bugging customers, knocking over garbage cans, skateboarding up and down in between tables. No one that worked there did anything.

Blue cheese burger without the blue cheese. After coming back to get the burger remade, not so much of a sorry or any kind of customer service.

Like everyone else they are struggling to have enough staff with Covid. Tables weren’t cleaned and the men’s bathroom was out of soap. Nothing egregious, but was noticeable when choosing a place to sit. They do offer a good 🍔, 🍟, and the Oreo 🥤 was okay.

It was our first time and it was really good. The meat was super fresh and cooked to order. The shakes looked amazing will have to try next time. Looking forward to our next visit

I'm a long time fan of Tonyburgers, this was my second visit to this location. Both times I was left not dissatisfied, but unimpressed. To be fair the location is typically much busier than the South Jordan location I usually visit. This was most obvious in their fries. Soggy as a result of the oil not being hot enough, likely overfilling each fryer to keep up with the rush. I also arrived 10 minutes after my suggested arrival time for pickup and had to wait another 10. I arrived home to find an item from my order missing as well. Can't be too upset about that since in didn't check before leaving. This location has an extra challenging balancing food quality and service times. All in all the staff do their best, but their popularity being their downfall. Not to a level I would never eat there again, but if the South Jordan location distance is an additional 50% or less, I'll go there instead.
