Best fish and chips for a good price

We ordered fish and shrimp tacos, both were $16 each. They came with beans and rice, which I didn’t really care for. The fish tacos were good but the shrimp tacos were great! The sauce was really yummy!

Tried the poke bowl and fish tacos. Definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had the SoCal burritos today and they were amazing - fresh tortillas, crispy fries and tender meat! Definitely returning this week to try the Poke Bowl. Tony brought our food out to us and even asked if we wanted hot sauce. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Tried the Poke bowl and fish tacos at Tony’s Catch, and I can only recommend them! The Poke was super delicious, and the fish tacos were loaded and full of flavor. Caesar was really friendly and even made the effort to speek Danish with us. Give it a try if you go to Kapa’a.

Great fish tacos! Big pieces of fish. Great sauce that comes on top of it. We also ordered fish tacos and poke bowls. All three were amazing!

Tonys food was great.we had the fish tacos ,poke bowl, and the fish and chips all great. Tony was super nice and even brought our food over to us at the table. 10 /10 recommend stopping here to grab some good food

We took our bikes down the trail and stopped at Tony's Catch for lunch after reading the rave reviews. We were a little skeptical about the 5 star rating, but let me tell you, it's legitimate. We had the fish tacos and the ahi tostada and both were absolutely amazing. My partner stated it was the best tostada he's ever had and is already planning on returning again this trip.

The poke bowl and shrimp tacos deliver on so many levels, my goodness! Great, friendly and warm service from the point of ordering to when we departed. The owner was genuinely interested in our thoughts about the food and made us feel so welcome. The fish was super fresh and the balance of flavours for both dishes still has me smacking my lips! A definite must visit when in Kauai 🥰

Tony’s Catch is one of the best places to eat on the island. The Tostadas and the SoCal burrito are to die for! I could have eaten there everyday.

The best tacos I have eaten on the island. I ordered one with fish and one with shrimp, the sauces were tremendously delicious, if you like spicy order with habanero on the side. Authentic with the flavor of Mexico, the boys are from Oaxaca and honor their culinary art. They are also super well located next to a variety of food trucks in front of the beach with plenty of parking available. The best tacos I've ever eaten on the island. I ordered one of fish and one of shrimp, the sauces tremendously delicious, if you like the spicy order some habanero as well. They were the best meal we had during our week in Kauai, I can still taste the Seared Ahi Tuna Toastadas . It was so good, we had to go back and make it our final meal. When we arrived, there was some difficulties but they went the extra mile and we were able to enjoy their food one last time. 5/5 on food, 5/5 on kindness.

We are here twice in 2 days it was so amazing. From start to finish 5 stars. Food is cooked fresh, and they bring it out to you at a table, extremely friendly and stretched in is a few times to make sure we has everything we needed. That never happens at a food truck. Fish was fresh both times, we had fish tacos and fish and chips. The carne asada fries are amazing. Everything has flavors on top of flavors.

Delicious food and great service!

We ate at several food trucks and restaurants on the island during our stay. I can say the fried fish tacos here were by far my favorite meal. These were the best fish tacos I've had in years. You could really taste the beer in the beer batter...just melted in your mouth. So good. We went back to get more one day around 3pm and were disappointed they weren't open still.

By far the best Poke bowl I had my life. The texture and lingering tastes were out of this world. Great price and you can sit and enjoy your meal under the palm trees and look at the beach. It was one of those meals I was glad to experience.

I stopped by on my way back from Hanalei Bay and had the Poke bowl. It was fantastic and made fresh. I was able to sit by the water and enjoy. Definitely would recommend stopping here.

Tony’s catch certainly deserves the 5 stars! We ordered based off the fact that it was 5 stars and we are not disappointed! We have had meals that costed us over $100 and was not close to being as fresh and delicious as the Fish tacos and the Tony’s tostada. Very much recommended!!

A MA ZING!! A variety of fresh fish tacos, shrimp, poke, fries and more. Stopped for lunch after a day of hiking and was not disappointed. This food truck in Kapa’a is right off the main highway with ample parking, picnic tables with umbrellas and beautiful ocean views. I wish we were able to try everything on the menu. If I am ever back in Kauai near Kapa’a I will definitely be eating at Tony’s.

Was looking for lunch at 10:30am on a Sunday prefferrably at a restaurant for something better than fast food - saw the good reviews of this food truck in Kapaa so took a chance... Ordered the Ahi tostadas and Mahi Fish Tacos. The service was quick and the food excellent and reasonable price as good or better than most restaurants. Outdoor seating at tables near the ocean bike path :)

AMAZING!! My husband and I shared a carne asada burrito. The man that helped us was polite and even though he had my name for the order to be called, brought it to us at the picnic table. He asked how our food was and even picked up our trash when he saw we finished. It was the perfect touch when I opened our to go box and noticed he had already cute the burrito in half for us. It was soooo delicious! My husband is a picky eater and he even enjoyed it. Music was playing, it wasn’t crowded and it’s right of the beach. 10/10 I would come back every day of I had one in our state!

We were starving after a hike to Ho’opi’i Falls and stopped at this cute little spot with several food trucks and picnic tables by the ocean. I saw great reviews for Tony’s Catch and gave it a go , probably the best food I’ve had in Kauai so far! ahi tostadas we’re sooooo good ! This will be my go to for lunch for the rest of the week ! Yum!

The best place to eat on an island. We had Tony’s tostadas and Zitatela fish tacos. The food was authentic, portions are decent and you can tell the ingredients were fresh. Extremely tasty food great service. Highly recommend

Really enjoyed the tostada. Tasty sauce and the seared fish was just right. My girlfriend had the fish tacos and the salsa verde was hella good.

Superb food. Worth every penny. We have fish & chips and shrimp tacos. And the owner speaks so many languages most probably he greets you in your native language. For sure he speaks Polish.

The story goes, a vegetarian of a decade reads the reviews and says okay babe, this place has the BEST reviews of anywhere we have traveled. If you try them and say it's worth it,I'll make an exception. Husband tries them, gives me the thumbs up..... Hands down best fish & chips and fish tacos ever! Done right 100%. He was so kind to hand deliver the meals, took out trash for us. Was beyond helpful and attentive. Food was fantastic, the view of the beach on top of it was amazing :) thank you!

When my husband and I were researching where to eat on Kauai we stumbled upon Tony's Catch. First of all, how many restaurants, let alone a food truck, get five stars consistently? Well, we were not disappointed! Best fish tacos I've ever had! We both had the mahi mahi tacos....made to order, hot, large proportion.... entirely satisfying! The beans and rice on the side were tasty too....smoky flavored beans with a bit of cheddar cheese and the rice was light and fluffy! You can't go wrong with Tony's Catch! And after your meal you can stroll along Kapa'a Beach Park!

This place is amazing! Highly recommend. We had the shrimp tacos and the ahi tostatas, and they were absolutely delicious! And it's near a nice path that runs along the ocean.

My wife is more into these food truck type places than I am, though this experience may be changing my perspective. The food was the kind of good that makes you want to go back before your trip is over. My wife got the fish tacos, and I got the carne asada burrito. I will speak on the burrito... It was IT! Coming from San Diego where my standards of burritos is a borderline pretentious, I wish Tony's Catch operated back home as well. To top off the amazing food, his attentiveness to the guests needs while they were eating was amazing. He made his rounds checking up on guests, bringing them napkins, additional sauces, I am sure he would have even brought another drink to the table if it was needed. Thank you so much for doing what you do, and we will be back! We will also be telling our family to check you out when they visit.

This is the best mahi fish and chips you will ever eat!!! We ate here 3x on our trip and loved it better than anything else we ate on the island. The guys are actually friendly and full of aloha…. Which is hard to find

Some of the BEST fried fish and chips ... and fish tacos .... EVER! You'll have to wait about 20 minutes as they cook it fresh. Outdoor seating under shade umbrellas with the ocean in the background. And Tony is SO nice. This will always be a stop during our annual Kauai visit.

Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve had on Kauai. Don’t let it be a food truck distract you from having a excellent meal. The prices are reasonable. The fish was excellent and prepared to perfection. The staff was conscientious and prepared meal quicker than they had anticipated it being done. You will not be disappointed.

We showed up about 30min before closing and Tony was very nice and had our food out in 10 minutes or less. The carne asada fries were delicious!!

Just arrived in Kauai, and knew about the many food truck locations on the island. As we’re driving north out of Lihue we found Tony’s Catch in the corner of about a ½ dozen other trucks. What a “catch “ for us we split the fish tacos, which surprisingly came with rice and beans. They were some of the best we’ve had brick/mortar or food truck. Had a refreshing cucumber cooler drink. If in the area don’t pass up this Catch!

Probably the best fish tacos I’ve ever had…including from Mexico and California! So fresh, crispy, and muy sabroso! And that habanero salsa! 😘😋 Great chill ambience with a beach view.

Bomb fish tacos and carne asada burrito! Tony is super nice and makes amazing, flavorful food. He asked if we weee into spicy and then brought us a container of an incredible spicy sauce. Took the time to get to talk to us a little while we were eating as well, really great joint to support.

In our ten days on the island, this was one of the best meals we had. I had the ahi tostadas and they were perfection! Crisp tortilla with ample toppings, including some glorious strips of seared ahi! My son had the carne asada fries and my husband the asada burrito. Zero complaints from anyone and my son is a notoriously picky eater. The man running the window was super friendly, even bringing our food out to us rather than just calling our name. Hoping to fit in one more visit:)

Best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked grilled blackened mahi fish tacos. Perfectly seasoned. Huge portion of fish on the tacos. Delicious rice and beans. We were drawn in by the 350+ 5 star reviews and I haven’t left the table yet before adding mine. Just incredible. The staff was super friendly and attentive to my gluten-free dairy- free request as well. I wish I could give them more stars! My husband got the beer battered fish tacos and was equally impressed. We are only on the island for 3 days, but will come back before we leave!

My other half and I love poke but this is probably the best we've had, from home or here on Kauai. Great balance of sweet and heat, the creamy sauce, the fresh Tuna is just awesome! The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious. Owners were awesome, very friendly. Wish we could have made it sooner in our stay and would eat here every day if we could. Add on: it was so good we went back again the next day for more poke and tacos plus we tried the Ahi Tuna Tostadas which were soooooo good!

Tony’s Catch was INCREDIBLE. Best food truck food I think I’ve ever had. I ordered the burrito and it was perfect. Generous portion at a fair price. My friend got fish and chips and that was awesome too! Highly Recommend and I’ll be back.

Me: What's fresh today? Tony: Ahi, in the tostata and the poke bowl. Me: one of each please ! Tony: 5 minutes. Tony brings it to our nearly umbrella picnic table. Also asks twice about how things are. We came here because of the 5/5 rating, and here's another 5 rating! Just excellent flavor, fresh, and service. Only open for lunch, so stop on your way back from bike ride up the trail.
