The people are so friendly. They check up to see if everything is satisfactory. The staff is very friendly! The prices are very reasonable and especially for the amount you get! The portions are rather big, and the food is fresh. And the salsa and tortilla chips they bring while you wait are freshly made is the best I've ever tasted!

By far one of my fav Mexican restaurants in RI! The owner E is super cool! Always make us feel like family when we go there. The food is great and their white sangria is to die for!! I always have a great time when I'm there and highly recommend this to anyone. Thanks for the amazing customer service!

El Toro is an absolute gem in Federal Hill. My girlfriend and I ordered the paella, and it was to die for. I've been to Spain, and I would even prefer it to the dishes I tasted over there. Moreover, the service is absolutely fantastic. The chef himself came out at one point to personally ask us how the main course was, which impressed me because paella is often a dish made in a large patch and held at temperature instead of being made upon request. Lastly, the live Spanish guitar music was a perfect accent. In all, we had world-class paella, kalamari, chips, and salsa for two for under $50. Do yourself a favor and come check out El Toro! It's only been on the Hill for ten months or so, but I really hope this place makes it.

What a great restaurant! Toro has authentic, freshly made Mexican Cuisine and is by far the best ethnic restaurant on Atwells Ave. You can tell the house recipe salsa is made with fresh ingredients and a perfect amount of heat. The burritos are to die for, and the nachos are out of this world. The ambiance is casual and inviting. Nicely decorated inside with available outside seating, and live entertainment on the weekend. If your a fan of Tequila, be sure to talk to the bartender about their selection... 59 different types! $1 Taco Tuesdays and $5 App/Margarita Thursdays have become a ritual, this place is definitely worth a try!

An exceptional place to stop and visit. A place where you come and have great food, great service, and you're treated like family. Everything this place has to offer is worth coming to again. They even have live entertainment on the weekends which made my dining experience even more enjoyable! I recommend everyone go and try toro restaurant you won't be disappointed!

All fresh cooked to order Mexican food. Our party of five kept the kitchen busy....as well as the bar. The staff and owner were very friendly without being intrusive. The food was authentic and well-prepared. Delicious!!!! The waitress even remembered the names of two of our party who had been there once before. Even though it was a Saturday night we were urged not to hurry. If you are looking for a place with authentic food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it! And the Margaritas were great, too!
