Everyday fresh homemade foods. Very tasty I feel like home. Everyone very friendly. Good service Good food.

I came from another city to have quality Turkish food. The mantı was too heavy on yogurt and lacked tomato sauce. Overall, the dishes were bland and flavorless. The Adana kebab was undercooked, and we couldn’t finish our meals. It was a complete disappointment, and I will not come back nor recommend this place to anyone. Beneath the appearance of quality lies disastrous food.

2024I went for a trip to New Jersey in July, we went to eat doner kebab as a family, but it was really disappointing, I chose it because of the parking lot, it had no taste and it was the first time we ate such bad doner and iskender.

I ate strawberry jam for breakfast and my stomach hurt until the evening. They treat us with stale bread just because we come here once in a while 👎👎

This is really disappointing. I spent $33.99 on a platter that was far from satisfactory. I ordered online, expecting a quality meal based on the restaurant’s reputation, but the experience fell short. The "Toros mixed" platter had terrible presentation and was barely enough to serve two people. For that price, I received just one kofte, a small forkful of gyro meat, a tiny Adana, and three pieces of kusbasi. The portion sizes were inadequate and didn’t justify the cost. This was definitely not worth the $33.99 I paid. Will not be returning. If this platter is to satisfy 2 OR more people, the amount of food should be equally (not one and three of some things) and presentation should be done more neatly, even in separate containers. Taste was also blend. When I came to pick up, the customer service was horrible. The ladies were not smiling and just asked me to pay instead of even saying hello how are you. I called to leave a review and the person I spoke to just said oh ok I will let them know but did not take my name or my number and now I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It also looked nothing like the picture I saw online.

Without a doubt the best Turkish food in Paterson. Amazing quality food, great portions and a very reasonable price. My favorite restaurant in Paterson.

Toros in Paterson is one of the best spots for a Mediterranean breakfast. For lunch we go to their location in Clifton! Long time wonderful service and atmosphere!

Staff was incredibly rude here. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! It was weird how rude they were, they never once came to ask how was the food?, is there anything we can get you ? The staff needs a training on good customer service

I came for the first time. The food was delicious and really good. But I can't say the same for the waiters, they acted as if they were forced to work. I didn't think there could be a place with such delicious food and such a bad service.

My husband got food poisoning here and didn't want to go back, but his mom convinced us to go again for lunch. The food was tasteless and the portions small and expensive. I ordered chicken shish kebab and my husband got lamb shish kebab. It was 5 pieces of meat and an ice cream scoop of bland white rice and another rice/wheat in tomato sauce? Lentil soup, salad, and hummus were all bland. Mother-in-law got salad with salmon. We all got tea. Bill for 3 people for a lunch special was $76!

If you want to be asked for a "tip" by the cashier while paying the bill, go ahead... We pay the bill, and I'm a tippler anyway. Yes, I'm talking about you, you green-eyed brown-haired lady. I would appreciate it if you never did this to other customers again. Apart from that, the food is nice and delicious.

We ordered according to the photo, but we received a different menu. Also it was cold. Despite this, we ate and paid. But I was forced to give a report. I was even asked about my family. Then I told him that the menu I didn't want didn't come and the one that came was cold. But I was forced to type again. Provides appropriate type of service. I suddenly found myself talking nervously in the morning with a person I didn't know. I couldn't eat the product in the photo. I got nervous about it day and night. Maybe he likes tension. It was a bad experience for me.

This review for owner of place and quality of food. I let them know their food unfresh multiple times, today they serve me again nasty food. Find you a another Turkish place they don’t represent Turkish kitchen.

The aquarium kills one's appetite. The glasses are dirty, the bread is burnt and the staff is sullen. Foods are good.

Toros restaurant has luxury and high quality service. They carry an Ottoman culture to New Jersey. Everything can try there all delicious and fresh. My favorite is İskender and Cop sis. Customer service awesome all server very respect people.

It is very disturbing that the employees talk to each other loudly while there are customers, you have spoiled the food, the kebab was very bland, the rice had a burnt taste and the tea was not good at all, we got up without drinking it.

Taking out! They serve small meals like rice or stews etc. They need to serve more food for the price we paid.

The restaurant is so nice that they serve by selecting customers. Water was served twice to people who came after me and even to those sitting at the next table, but not to me. They did not allow me to sit where I wanted, lying that the table was reserved. like a joke . If you believe that you are not equal, you can choose here

Great authentic Turkish food at affordable prices. Especially the cafeteria style already made food is part of the Turkish cuisine very hard to get at a restaurant in the US but delicious and well prepared!! It’s a small place so not ideal for long meals with a big entourage perhaps. Staff were helpful and efficient. Definitely going back.

Went to this place for dinner on a Saturday weekend. The place has a decent atmosphere and ambience. I tried will their combination kabobs available. The food serve at a decent temperature. The meat was juicy and tinder. The kabobs with beef and lamb meats tastes are good. However, the chicken kabobs were not up to the expectations. The resturent located in a popular place on Main Street and finding parking can be tough depending upon the time and day.

Great place to taste Turkish food, not all location has fresh daily dishes such as Dolma, sote etc… They even bake their bread, unfortunately on breakfast you can’t have fresh bread, I wish they can have fresh bread one day on breakfast.

ıt was the worst döner that ı’ve ever had eaten.. ı am so sorry but it was terrible. İskender and dolma were bad too. The only good things are service and salad. I dont recommend this place, try other Turkısh restaurant on the street

Being Turkish by birth, my experience with the döner/İskender Kebab at this establishment was profoundly disappointing. The true essence of Döner is nowhere close to what they present here. I strongly advise seeking alternatives. The staff, comprised of both the waitress and waiters, are genuinely courteous and pleasant. However, the cuisine leaves much to be desired. This restaurant has garnered excessive acclaim, but in reality, it falls short. Exploring any dining option along Main Street is bound to yield a superior gastronomic experience.

While taking out....thier dinner entree quality isn't good. I almost threw up while having chicken sheesh kebab and recently they are charging for same order that I made over phone and always something is missing in it either out of two orders one is missing but was charged is same but never went back to have a row with anyone....now their food quality and items in the entree is very poor. They could just increase prices little bit and give us better quality like 6/7years ago. Very soon there will be nothing in the breakfast besides cucumber and tomato ....take my word for it.

We stopped by for Eid dinner. The staff is very frindly, the place is very clean. The only negative thing was you get very little food for the price. There was only a table spoon of rice on our plates and my daughter's plate was drenched in yogurt. She could barely taste the food. It wasn't worth $135.00. I know times are tough, but come on don't be cheep with the food.

I always come to this restaurant whenever I visit NJ or NY, because food is delicious, meat also good, bread is fresh with real Turkish atmosphere, but last time when I got there and tipped them, the waiter told me exactly how much I have to tip, implying my tip was too low.

Toros restaurant is our home..we always feel at home during breakfast and meals..there is a warm atmosphere. We had a crowded wedding on May 28th..Toros restaurant came with its qualified staff and presented the food..All guests were satisfied with the taste. Thanks a lot

Everything on the menu is good and the kitchen is clean. This is the place to go if you don't want to cook but still want some home cooked food. Their soups are delicious, and I feel like the chicken soup brings you back to life. They have some really good bread that is always warm. I don't usually like salmon, but here they make it the best. They usually have different options, but they will always have good food. When you go here, you feel like you are at your Turkish aunties house.

The lamb chops could have been more tender by cooking slightly longer and at slow flame. They also give complimentary bread and Salad. I had very bad experience, food was very bad lamb chop there is no taste on it and no any season even no salt and paper and lamb cube also was strong and I guess it has been for days service was good author than that very tide and small place 👎👎👎

I think they may have different owners\chef Because the food was horrible and mine (the moussaka )was not cooked and cold and smelled foul. The stuffed grape leaves tasted off and were sweet and cold like out of a jar from the refrigerator?? Yuck I've eaten these here before and they were delicious and warm..don't know what happened to this place. The server was nice, didn't speak English so we needed a translator.

I recently visited Toros in Paterson, New Jersey for a Turkish breakfast and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The highlight of my meal was the honey and jam with cream, which was absolutely delicious and the perfect accompaniment to my cup of tea. The quality of the ingredients was evident in the taste and the presentation was beautiful. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Friday i went there to try me some turkish platter.I was recieved by a nice lady n offered some tea(comp) along baklava. It was good, order took about 20 mins since i ordered there. The platter was delicious, chicken n lamb on point, salada simple but good took, white rice good. Overall it was a good experience, would of given the rest 5 out of 5 but waitres asked me if i really paid 3 times.
