Excellent Turkish Restaurant, they have been in this business for long time

We have been coming here for years. The food is amazing but the staff is exceptional. Ana is incredible. Her kindness and compassion is truly outstanding.

Finest Turkish cuisine in north New Jersey and I highly recommend it. But when you visit, ask for 'Ana' by name. She elevates your visit experience every single time. Ana is truly an amazing hostess!!

Compared to the Paterson Main St location, this place is a disappointment. Food came without a salad, while the Main St. location provides a salad. Food portion was smaller and of lesser quality compared to the Main St. location. I felt robbed spending $24 on my yogurt kabab here. Avoid this location and go to Main St. Toros location for better food.

We were in the area for a conference and decided to try this lovely Turkish restaurant! The waitstaff was so kind and patient…we had never eaten Turkish food so had many questions. Everything was delicious and so fresh tasting. Will definitely return next time we are visiting the area!

This is one of my most favorite Turkish restaurants. Food is always great. I always come to it when I visit NJ.

came here just about a week or two ago for a dinner party with some close family and friends a large group. we were seated in the basement which was small but cozy. the staff was pretty great with us. i ordered the sigara boregi for my appetizer which was so delicious! i really enjoyed the complementary bread that delicious and so fresh! it was so great of them to bring out more refills of the bread for us to devour. my entree i decided to try turkish delicacy, manti. i really enjoyed it truly. i’ve had manti before but it was afghani made. so trying it the turkish way was different not 100% but surely enjoyable. i loved the touch of lemon on top to cut through all that yogurt that it’s sitting in and oil. i just wish there wasn’t a puddle of oil sitting all around the meal because it makes it look unappealing and seems too greasy. i definitely do recommend this dish to be tried i know it’s not one everyone will love unless you enjoy beef dumplings and yogurt. it’s been so long since i was last here dining at toros and im glad i got to come back again to enjoy their food. i truly love turkish food so thank you!

They have a different cook. The foods quality is not the same.

Lovely restaurant. I've been coming for over 6 years and have loved every single experience. The staff is super kind, and the food is incredible every time. One of the best Turkish restaurants I've been to in the area.

I went here for lunch today after the recommendation of a colleague. I can see why! The food was amazing, as was the service. I had never been to a Turkish restaurant before, but the team there helped walk me through the menu, and helped me choose a delicious meal. And not only was the meal amazing, but it was an amazing value as well. The amount of food I received was way more than I expected to receive for the amount charged. I will absolutely be coming back to this location any time I'm in the area.

We ate there and had very bad experirnce in terms of food and hospitality. They put us in a very bad spot (in the basement) and the host which he is not turkish, was so rude and unprofessional. Never recommended.

The food was bad. I ordered a vegetable casserole and what was brought to me looked like pale looking green beans from a can cooked in oil and garlic mixed with other veggies. In a bowl. The vegetables weren't fresh either. That is not what a casserole should look like.

The lunch special was just okayish. However, the major disappointment was the service which I thought was below par. Also, they served the Kabab as medium rare when the server did not even ask how we’d like it to be cooked. So, overall, not at all satisfied and wouldn’t be going back,

Went for brunch with friends. On Sunday afternoon it was half full. Service is quick and very friendly. Food is excellent Turkish dishes (lamb shank, mousaka, lam chops with shih kebob combo and toros chicken salad, cold appetizer combos - humus, baba ganoush, casik, barbunya pilaki, tabouleh). Restaurant has full bar. Wonderful experience all in all.

Both the food and the service were top notch. The staff is very friendly and they greet you in a very welcoming and accommodating fashion. Kabobs are one of the tastiest I had in the US.

Food was good, fresh bread is soo good. But very expensive for small portions. Why I pay 30$ for a couple pieces of kebab.

The food here is to die for literally and figuratively! The best last meal that you could have. Sheriff Berdnik recommended me this place.

We went there with three of my friends. The hostess who greeted us at the door wanted to sit us at a secluded table at the back, while there were many empty tables in the place. Upon our objection, we sat at a better table. I bought lamb doner. Although the portion of doner was sufficient, the portion and variety of side dishes were low. The taste of the doner kebab was average. The atmosphere of the place is that of a very high-end authentic Turkish restaurant.

Absolutuly terrible food we had bought karisik izgara with my friend meat did not taste like meat gyro tasted everything other than gyro too expensive for the plate we have seen mouse on the floor passed near us and place was absolutely dirt serves lady was really rude she wanted to rush us for no reason i will never go to this place and never want anybody to go this place if they think about their help

I met up with friends here for quick catch-up day , we happen to order some apps and soup ,it was thier first time they loved it. this is one my favorite places! great food , good vibes.

Sizes of soup and salad were enough to fill me and I didn’t order anything else, atmosphere is very nice and cozy.

Whenever we want to treat ourselves to good traditional Turkish food (aside from making it ourselves) we go to Toros. It’s over an hour drive but worth the trip. The Staff is always attentive and friendly!

The bread they serve is absolutely deliciou I also recommend Manti , Acili Ezme and cacik. Service is always good.

We recently had lunch at Toros , Clifton, NJ. The last time I dined there was pre-covid. When I entered the restaurant I was immediately brought back to the pleasant dining experiences that we had in the past. The restaurant is very pleasing to the eye, setting the tone for a warm and inviting meal. We were a party of adullts and young children.We had the lunch special , which included soup or salad, an appetizer, entree and beverage( coffee, tea,soda). We ordered various salads to share. Chumus, babaganoush, eggplant in a tomato base, grilled eggplant salad and labne. The salads were very tasty and equally satisfying. I ordered Levrek(bronzini). Others ordered a chicken dish, salmon and a falafel platter. My Levrek was very fresh and delicious. I tasted the falafel , which was crispy on the outside flavorful inside and well spiced. The others enjoyed the salmom and chicken dishes. To compliment our meal we had dessert; Baklava, Kenafe and lemon sherbert. The service was accommodating and attentive. The food was served within a reasonable amount of time. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Overall the lunch was a success . We plan to return again in the near future.

First time visitor. Went with a Turkish colleague who said it was a must try restaurant. He was correct. Lunch includes soup, appetizer, main and drink. We also had a great dessert that I believe came from Taskins Bakery across the street. Lentil soup and hummus were excellent as was the eggplant appetizer. Fish courses and sale very tasty and was the after meal tea. I will return.

Great food, great price! Another big plus is having a parking lot. That's a huge plus! This town has serious issues with parking spaces, and Toros helped me a lot by offering free parking spot!

Beautiful restaurant! We came only for take out and definitely want to come back to eat inside. Got 3 of their lunch special combos to go. Which comes with an appetizer, entree, and a choice of soup or salad and a drink (coffee, or soda). Great deal. Even tho we only came for take out, we could sense how friendly the service is. The gentleman who took our order gave us the coffee to enjoy while we waited for our food. The food was generous in portion, fresh and good. The side salad was very yummy. They also gave this huge bread that was really good. I definitely want to come back and eat inside this beautiful restaurant.

Nothing to write home about. Food was good. Lentil soup came out at almost room temperature. Bread was warm, soda was flat and everything took forever to come out. I remember this place to be the spot for Turkish cuisine. One of the waitresses rolled her eyes so hard I could hear it because the order we received was wrong and she wasn't happy about that. It was disappointing to see her reaction when we asked for it to be fixed because it was not the way it was ordered. We were a party of 10 so that may be why it felt super slow but one would expect better service. Parking is very tight. We came out of the restaurant to find the car was side swiped by the back driver side to the trunk. Overall.. not the greatest experience.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant - everything we ordered was delicious. They also have yogurt sis and adana which I never tried but it was fabulous. The service is top notch. I would highly recommend this place for nice dinner, going out, or special occasion.

I've been living in America for about 33 years, I must say very clearly that Toros Restaurant is the only place where I can sit in peace and eat delicious food. with a complete family atmosphere and very affordable prices.!

Love this place, excellent food, friendly staff. It is one of our favorites. I usually try something different each time. wife and I always stop when we are close.

We met friends for dinner (it is a halfway point) and were pleasantly surprised. The decor is very nice, service was most attentive, the food was tasty. We shared the shepherd salad and an eggplant appetizer. We also share the elli bamya ( lamb with okra) which was good. The stuffed cabbage was not my favorite. Then ordered baklava and kadaif which they said was good.

Excellent menu selections, all attractive and tasty. Fast efficient service, Main dining and bar area ground floor. Lower level for banquet and large group dining.

Perfect on a weekend afternoon. The lunch menu is the best, Turkey food seems the best on sunny day, so fresh. Visit the baker across the street for desert after lunch.

As a Turk, there are things that I am proud of, but what I did not hear, the food is very good, they explained the Turkish region, how beautiful the interior design is, the waiters are fine, but what I don't like is that their manager is not Turkish and thinks he is the boss here, I got a special indifference because I am white I'm not saying it's their manager, I'm both rude and arrogant my advice you need to change is your manager this was my fifth time I'm sure I will go to the other Toros restaurant I will not come to that side again‼️

Wow, just wow... I found this place on a friend's recommendation however Clifton is a bit off my regular routes and I only got to try it now. Having been to tons of Turkish and other Mediterranean places in Jersey (just to mention a dozen in Cliffside Park, Patterson etc) i thought it's hard to impress me. But this place stands out for sure. From the entrance, walls decoration, food presentation, quality, service... It's a complete package. Everything is thought through and well organized. It's not on a cheap side but well worth the experience. They have a lunch special that includes full meal course, under $20. The portions are not huge(here I disagree with some of the other reviewers) but of a decent size, even for the lunch special. All in all, highly recommend this place not only for food but for a complete dining experience!

This place is amazing! Staff is welcoming and very accomodating. I placed a late reservation during busy hours because I had a terrible experience with Kanoon. Toros was able to get us a table in absolutely no time even though they were extremely busy. The food was great as well. I will definitely be coming back if I'm in the area. If you are in the area and looking for halal options, go to Toros and not Kanoon! You will not be disappointed!
