We went on a Friday afternoon between lunch and dinner. We are greeted warmly, seated and got a fabulous server who answered our questions and was helpful without hovering. The fried Alaskan pollack was perfectly done and the sides were also good. My husband’s burger was delicious as well. Reasonable prices, hefty portions and great service. We will go back next time we are in town.

My wife and I stopped for breakfast. The service was very good. The food was outstanding. We ordered a ham and cheese omelette and French toast. The servings were very generous and very good. Plenty of parking and public restrooms. Clean and well lit. It was a good experience.

Everything I’ve tried from here is amazing and they have weekly specials so there’s always something new! Birra is a classic but their shrimp tacos are also amazing. Definitely worth the drive!

Amazing food! If you’re looking for some delicious and creative street food, this is your spot! Everything on the menu is FIRE! But my most favorite items are the shrimp Baja tacos (fresh shrimp) and the pork belly tacos. It’s a hidden treasure worth driving out to try.

We were looking for a place for lunch and low and behold we found this amazing cafe in Toto thanks to Tripadvisor. The meals were great, I had a tenderloin sandwich and my wife had a hamburger and the I had a piece of homemade chocolate cream pie. Service was perfect, we will visit again!

One of the few cafes with food as foremost. Great soups. Daily specials. Reasonable prices, huge portions. A local favorite!

Very convenient there is a retail store attached, so as you shop and get hungry one stop shopping. The meals were reasonable and tasty. I haven't had a Rueben sandwich in years and it was great or I was hungry loaded with fries, I also had a bowl of soup with it. My wife had a burger with mashed potatoes and gravy. I like the fact you have so many choices of side dishes. I'll be back.

Fish there is amazing it is Polock but it taste as good as Walleye. Very littley breaded . Also very responsibly priced

If you want to get a feel for the area, this is the spot. My friends living in the area frequent this place. It's a small town diner with friendly staff - the type of place locals walk into and everyone knows their name. I was the only person who needed a menu. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with two eggs, hash browns and toast. It's a nice amount of food for the price.

The Toto Cafe is a very nice place to stop and have lunch if you're in the area. We eat here most every time when we're in the area. The food is very good, and they offer daily specials. Prices are also reasonable. After your meal, you can stop next door at Richard's store, which offers are wide variety of stuff you didn't know you needed. Fun Fact: When L. Frank Baum wrote "The Wizard of Oz," he named Dorothy's dog Toto after this little town in Indiana.

Had the French Toast. It was great! Usually come here for lunch. The fish sandwich and onion rings are the best I'v ever had.

Rather larger dining facility in the little town of Toto. This is due to the discount warehouses in the area. Comfort food. We had the broasted chicken, mashed potatoes and salad. All good. Atmosphere is so-so as was the service.

We came here with another couple who are big fans of the Thursday meat loaf special so I decided to honor their recommendation and I was not disappointed. The servings were more than generous. The sides were real mashed potatoes with gravy and steamed baby carrots. The potatoes were very good, the carrots were nothing special. The meal would be improved with a different vegetable side. Now my wife on the other hand ordered a fish sandwich which she said was excellent. The next time we go I will try something different, but overall this was a good experience.

We had the special which was meat ball sub. Homemade bread with homemade meatballs. Very tasty. Just don't let at a table by the windows. It was blowing cold air.

Great food, seating for large groups, and great waitresses! Typical diner food, but the Toto burrito is a good option if you aren't sure what to get.

The food was good the service was another story. Maybe I just went on a bad day. It took forever to get our food and it was cold. Maybe we will have better luck next time.

Stopped in on a Wednesday for lunch while traveling to Bailey's Discount. My wife ordered the Alpine Burger ($8.49) and I ordered the Alaskan Pollock dinner ($8.49). The Alpine Burger was a typical restaurant hamburger- good but nothing special. My Alaskan Pollack was also good....

Reasonable price for good food. Service was fast. Place was nice and clean. I got the tenderloin. It was good, but more like a fritter than a hand breaded tenderloins that I'm use to. The curly fries took up almost the whole plate! Cole slaw...

the food is excellent and you can order almost anything you wood want for breakfast, from biscuit and gravy to steak and eggs. We take up to 15 people and a any one time and can walk away with everyone being satisfied and not costing...

Stopped in here while visiting my family in town and did some shopping and have to say it's a very nice diner. They are all very friendly. Great environment for kids and adults. Definitely stop in if your in the area.
