The food was okay. What I ordered vs my friend looked different in quality. The service was minimal but okay. The restaurant itself was clean but old and messy and laid out a little strange. Found it on Google. It was not the place we were looking for and probably not somewhere I'll go back.

Felt like I was out of the US. Portions were surprisingly huge and the food was really tasty.

Wonderfully surprised with truly authentic Mexican food. Both the green and red table salsas were fantastic! We'll be back here every time I play Champoeg DGC.

Dinner started with house made taco chips and a yummy salsa. Hubby couldn’t make up his mind so he had the combination plate and I chose the street tacos. Delicious! Lots of food! Dinner came with sauces, sour cream and guacamole. We went based on reviews and weren’t disappointed. Wish there was one of these in our home town!

I had the quesabirria order and I know I'm coming back again,very friendly cashier and fast service.I saw them makde my tortillas also the consome was amazing 👏 🙌 👌 😍 😉

First off, fantastic service. I ordered a beer and the Cubano torta. The beer was massive, If I had to guess it was 24oz, served in a big chilled glass mug. Delicious. The torta was incredible, stuffed with fresh tasting ingredients and incredible meats. Also when people say these tortas are big, they mean it. This thing was almost the size of 2 chipotle burritos. A crazy amount of food. 9/10 would visit again if I was in town.

This place is pretty yummy! Cameron’s Diablo oh yeah! Oddly enough, they had like the best clam chowder I’ve ever had, but I think they stopped carrying it…

The bathrooms are currently being renovated, and the portopotties are currently located on a trailer, across the sidewalk from the entrance. They're clean, but not mobility-friendly, at this time. The drinks are delicious and massive, the food is a map-marker, and the service is swift and sweet. We (3) were seated quickly, the parking was just around the block, and the drinks paired with the warmth and sun like a dream. This spot was as much a reason to visit Woodburn as the Tulips!

My mother and I had the Quesabirria plate. It came with cup of Birria broth, lots of fresh salsas, onion, cilantro, and lime. The broth was great for dipping the meaty and cheesy quesadilla. Generous portions, with a lovely presentation. All Edmundo’s menu is from scratch (no micro max here). From the bar I had one of the best Micheladas, made with fresh ingredients. Next time I want try the ramen noodles with Birria broth (far east meets south of the border). This would be a great place to bring a large party with adventurous palates. Last but not least, very friendly staff and service.

My oh my. What a fantastic little place to eat. The service was good. The food was hot and delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Prices might seem a bit high at first, but when you realize how much food you get, it is worth it. Portion sizes were GIANT. A plate could easily be shard amongst 2 people. The table next to us got the burrito, and it was the biggest one I've seen. Will definitely be back to give that a try 😋

The birria and torta were excellent, as well as the salsas! The tacos and service were solid. Food was fast, portions were huge, we left full and satisfied.

Food is delicious but I thought the portion was over exaggerated. Also, coffee was not hot enough. It tasted like the coffee I prepare at home when I am running late and have to put a cup of water in the microwave instead of boiling the water. How much

Excellent spot for really good and extra generous sized portions at affordable prices. You will not walk away from this place being hungry! Make sure you give yourself some time when expecting food. They can get busy at lunch. Use the extra time to contemplate life and why you’re hear! The hot sauce is really hot! Be warned! 🥵

Yummy you can smell from outside it's worth it

Fantastic food and service! We are from Texas but got to Oregon as fast as we could.........and have been looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant for many months. Disclaimer: we are NOT super fans of Tex-Mex. During a conversation about this, a co-worker suggested looking in Woodburn and we did..........what a gem this place is! Food was amazing and the Dos Equis were dressed and ice cold. Friendly and warm service, and even though we live in Salem......this will be our NEW go-to place for excellent and authentic Mexican cuisine. Highy recommend!

Huge quantities and the food was okay

We always order the same thing (Jennifer knows us by our order!) But today we ordered street tacos, to change it up a bit. Their salsas are homemade, some are very hot, others not so much. The service here is over the top good. You wont be sorry that you picked Trapala. The picture is a Polla Asado Burrito (from a prior visit).

Raw. Not a brew pub but good beer on draft. Get a half chicken special with nopalis salad...yum!

Our favorite place. Great food great prices and large portions. The presentation of the meal is wonderful. We eat there once a week and if we could we would eat there more often.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly service, huge portions, great cost and delicious authentic Mexican food. My friends and family come here to eat whenever we're in Woodburn. Their delicious tortas gigantes are, well, gigantic, and are deserving of the name. I love their tacos (lengua, chorizo, asada, pastor - they're all good) and their margaritas are refreshing. Can't recommend them enough.

Went for the first time yesterday and I look forward to coming back. Very friendly service. Generous portions. Fresh homemade tortillas. Well-seasoned meat and veggies (even the mushrooms and cactus were great!).

Top tier. Have only one place I've been that's better and that was in Playa del Carmen Mexico. Keep up the great cuisine.

Tortillas seemed home made. The chorizo was excellent. The beer was ice cold. The service was friendly and good. Not much to complain about. Will certainly be back.

Los 12 años de edad fue sorprendido por el tamaño de su burrito. . Pero ella trabajaba aunque y declaró como súper! ! Le va a dormir bien esta noche! ! !

Stopped by this little hole in the wall place by chance. Great service. Awesome cheladas and great food. Word of warning, unless your coming off a 7 day fast, split a total with a friend. When they say "gigante"., they mean it.

I have eaten there several times, almost weekly when I lived in the area. I love their tamales and the green sauce, they are like home made. Tacos and enchiladas both red and green, excellent. Also their margaritas are quite tasty and refreshing with fresh lime juice. I highly recommend this restaurant and I am sure you will not be disappointed, not too far from the outlet mall.

Humberto and his staff offer the best customer service I have EVER had ANYWHERE. They are always welcoming and more than happy to help and serve you however they can. I recommend the GIANT burritos they offer (my fav) I recommend this to anyone and everyone! Great beer. Great food. Great service. 100%

Trapala has the friendliest worker's I've ever encountered. The new one on Garfield is so open and inviting. The owner always welcomes us with such an amazing personality. Good job

Really good Michelada, only reason i go there

I have eaten at at Luis's Taqueria in Woodburn many times, and thought it was the best Mexican food in town. I think Trapala is moving to first place! There are 3 Mexican restaurants in EVERY block in Woodburn (not really, but seems like it), so they have a lot of competition. The atmosphere at Trapala is nicer than the other places in town, service is excellent, and everything I've ordered in the several times I've eaten there was served hot, fresh, delicious and promptly. You pay a little more for the nicer atmosphere and good food, but not much. It's reasonable for the quality. Oh... nearly forgot... the Margaritas are excellent, too!

Very enjoyable dinner. Excellent food, service and beverages. Food appeared homemade and prepared as ordered, not on a steam table.

We've stayed in Woodburn many times the last 20 yrs. and had never eaten anywhere but the fast food places. This time (we always go for the drag races), I checked on line for a good place for micro-brews. This was the only place that came up, so we ventured out to find it. It was easy to find. This was the most authentic Mexican food we've had in Oregon! We find I can prepare it better myself. There micro brew selection was small, but Elberto, the owner was great and let us sample each. When we ordered our food, we usually like camarones. They weren't listed on the menu, but he said he would cook anything we wanted! He wrapped them in bacon the they were so good! Instead of chips, he served spanish peanuts that had dry chiles and lime juice that were yummy. We will definitly be back!

We live here in Woodburn and have access to many different Mexican restaurants. Trapala rates high with us. This is where we take out of town guests. They have a variety of choices, fresh ingredients, good flavor, friendly atmosphere. Not cheap eats. The owners have had culinary training.

Not good or bad, but this is not a "Brew Pub" this is a dive Mexican restaurant.

The Trapala family does a really great job! We always enjoy the food here and bring our out of town guests to Downtown Woodburn for a great dinner.

There were 6 of us, so we ordered the meal with two chickens and 4 sides. Fantastic rotisserie chicken, the cactus was excellent and vinegary. Excellent service.

Some of the finest Mexican food I have ever had. This small homey place is run by two brothers who have formal training and have worked in some high class restaurants. This little place has the best mole I have ever tasted. Everything is made from scratch and it shows. Excellent guacamole and chips that are light and crispy, not greasy. Generous servings. Nice selection of drinks.

Very nice little restaurant with outstanding food. The menu has a good selection at reasonable prices. I had my meal ala crate while my companions had full meal selections. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our dietary concerns (vegetarian and wheat intolerance). They split one order at no extra charge, they made fresh tortillas to make sure there was no cross contamination, and all my items were well prepared and very flavorful. The tortiila soup was full of chicken, tortilla strips, and lots of queso, all the food was fresh, well made, and individually flavored, a very enjoyable meal.
