The show with the incredible guitar and the dancers but the truly disastrous food. Starting the bread with mayonnaise, the awful patatas bravas drizzled with mayonnaise. The very bad vinegary ceviche and the Spanish chorizos are not to be talked about. I would definitely never repeat it again. An offense to Spanish food.

Excellent, amazing and unique are the least qualifications for the flamenco show lead by Don Juan Carlos. He is a show all by himself! The restaurant seems to be working its way up after the businesses devastation caused by COVID. The food is very good and the prices are affordable! They have a little something for every taste.

A Spanish style restaurant located in El Viejo San Juan. My favorite Spanish restaurant closed down in NYC and I happen to find this gem, which can ensemble one of the best paellas I had. It appears they were able to infuse some latin seasoning into it, since even in a Spain we could not find it as good. They also have some other tasty dishes and a pretty good pina colada. They have live performances, if you like entertaining other senses while entertaining your palate.

Food was good. The bar was fun, and the server was very nice and friendly. Full disclosure, we had a table of 8 and service was a bit slow and not everyone got their food at the same time. Food came over I'd say a 20 to 30 min period. All of that said, the show was phenomenal and worth it. We would definately come back.

We did not eat there so I can not answer any questions about the food.. We went on a cruise ship shore excursion just to hear the world's current oldest Flamenco Guitarist, Juan Carlos. He is 84, and his performance was FANTABULOUS. Yes, I made up that word because there are no real words to describe how amazing this man is. He thrilled us with his stories and his music and his talent. He's also a pretty funny guy. Go! You won't be disappointed. The venue itself is not too impressive. And the dancers were good. Not fantastic. Just know that the real reason to go there is to experience Juan Carlos. And you can get his CD at the end of the show. $10 or $20, whatever you can afford. This was definitely the highlight of my trip to San Juan.

Nice surprise… My family and I came across this restaurant while roaming the streets of PR in search of an authentic meal. We decided to give it a shot after glancing at the menu and we were not disappointed.

Somos clientes asiduos, cono residentes del Viejo San Juan. Nos encanta su comida y su show flamenco. Siempre invitamos a familia y amigos a visitarles. Y hasta ayer el servicio había sido excelente; fuimos 4 personas y la mesera fue horrible. Tardaba demasiado en darnos servicio y nosotros somos clientes de consumir y beber bastante. Reservamos a las 6:30pm para cenar antes del show. Fuimos los últimos en que se nos tomara la orden de dos paellas Triana y porque mi esposo se paró de la mesa y fue a la barra a poner la orden. Nos sirvieron la comida después que terminó el show, cerca de las 9:00pm. Los tragos tardaron demasiado porque ella no venía a preguntar y teniamos que pedírselos a otras meseras. Queríamos también una botella de vino y ella no tenía idea de los que había y los que no. No se llevaba los vasos vacíos ni los platos del aperitivo sucios y vacios ya. Los menus jamás se los llevó y en la mesa ya no cabía nada. Tuvimos que pedirle que nos limpiara la mesa que además era muy pequeña para 4 personas, lo cual hizo a regañadientes diciéndonos que le diéramos la bandeja del pulpo porque ella tenía las manos ocupadas y llenas con los platos. Se llevó los cubiertos y cuando trajo las paellas le tuvimos que decir que trajera platos para servirnos. Los cubiertos ya los habían traido y los tiró todos juntos encima de una servilleta en el medio de la mes y no a cada cliente como corresponde. Le pedimos limón y como tardó tanto se lo pedimos a otra mesera (trigueña de pelo rizo) que fue super amable al traerlo e incluso nos puso una silla extra para que colocáramos las carteras y la sombrilla porque nos vió comiendo incomodas con las carteras en la falda. De paso le agradecí las atenciones y le dije que gracias porque el servicio de nuestra mesera no habia sido bueno. Ella se lo dejó saber a Sophia(la mesera) la cual se acercó a la mesa a pelearnos por habernos quejado, a echarle la culpa a la cocina y al bartender y decirnos molesta que “le estabamos causado un problema por quejarnos”. Mi esposo y yo viajamos el mundo porque estamos retirados y vamos tanto a los mejores restaurantes como a un Kiosko. Jamás un empleado se acercó a nuestra mesa a regañarnos y con tan mala actitud. Le dije que todas las mesas había cenado y llegaron después que nosotros y que las demás meseras daban servicio constante como debe ser, que nuestra incomodidad era razonable. Incluso ya habían limpiado y cambiado manteles de todas las mesas vacias y nosotros aún estabamos comiendo. Fuimos penúltimos en salir del restaurant y nos ajoró para que pagaramos en actitud molesta. Nunca ofreció postres ni cordiales ni café. Se estaba burlando con otra mesera de nosotros, ambas nos miraban en actitud burlona. No pensamos dejar de ir por eso, pues nos gusta su comida, es la primera vez que la vemos y todos los anteriores han sido super amables, como Cristina Sofía por ejemplo y como la otra joven que hoy hizo la diferencia e incluso fue a la puerta a despedirnos y se disculpó con nosotros por el mal trato. Mi orden fue la 43, el ticket fue de más de doscientos dólares. Tuvimos que cruzar para Carli’s para pedir postre y cordiales. Como dueña de negocio que fuí, creo en el buen servicio al cliente porque negocios hay muchísimos pero las atenciones son las que no hacen regresar.

Spacious, quiet place, delicious local food and flamenco performances on selected nights. We loved mahi mahi cooked in clay pot, shrimp with rice and beans. Our 5yo enjoyed chicken fingers and fries. Super friendly service, great margaritas - perfect place for those who just got off the plane :)

We ordered Paella Triana, but there was actually sand in the lobster tail. We told the restaurant, and the manager insisted it was seasoning, not sand—pretty funny, right? After a bit, the waitress quietly took the lobster away without saying anything. When we asked at checkout, she said the chef thought it was sand, but the manager insisted it was seasoning. Honestly, it was a bit disappointing. I just wanted the manager to be straight with us and say sorry, but they never showed up.

We visited on a night without entertainment and were the only guests besides someone at the bar. We were taken with the floor mosaics. Questions about them led to some history of the island and the building. It was one of the best experiences we had during our short trip. The food was well priced, well prepared, and delicious. We appreciated that there were several vegan/vegetarian options clearly marked on the menu.

This show was so much fun! We came on a Saturday and the show started at 7:30 and lasted around an hour. There was a guitarist who was incredible as well as three different flamenco dancers. We ordered Sangria, a margarita, steak Caesar salad, and octopus and everything was very tasty. The host spoke both English and spanish

I felt I was in Spain! the decor, the food, the atmosphere was beautiful and on top of it they had flamenco performance that was 😍. this had to be one of my favorite restaurants in old San Juan, especially if you have a taste for espanola food 🥘 the paella was huge, the flavors burst in your mouth leaving you and your tummy happy! 🤤😋 I recommend to everyone to come here and experience what feels like you’re in Barcelona, Spain. 🫶🏾🫶🏾

Grouper in garlic sauce with so much garlic that I couldn't taste the fish. The steamed broccoli was inedible and looked old. And fried potato wedges with no seasoning. I read the reviews and tried it, to the end of a big disappointment.

We stopped in while exploring Old San Juan and most of the restruants were closed (It was around 5 and everything closes down) The enviornment was incredible. I saw on the door that they had a dance and music performace at 7 and was kind of disappointed we would not catch it. I got the shrimp cabanara that was full of shrimp, around 10 or so large pieces. The shrimp had been cleaned and tall removed. We were so looking forward to dinner here, we waited for months. Based on pictures and reviews we were expecting some real authentic paella.
