Best italian grocery store in MD, fresh, delicious food!

This place has the best Italian food and wine prices are just right the staff is friendly

Wow, their fresh breads are great. The garlic roll, and foccacia are top tier.

I am ashamed to say that I did not know this deli had been around for 120 years. There are other great Italian grocers in Baltimore. None that I can remember has kept it as old world. Trinacria is truly a throwback. This place is perfect for the workman/woman. I got the simple Muffaletto sandwich. Simple but so good. Other places in town would charged double. I’m a customer for life now

Not just me, but my family has been coming to this store for three generations. We love everything that is offered between the fresh imported prosciutto to the sweet lemon cookies. I can't express my gratitude and appreciation for this location. It deserves so much love and attention. I will always find time to come back to get some amazing focaccia and maybe even a sandwich or two. If you haven't been here before or have seen it and having walked in, just go.

My Grandfather took me here when I was just a kid. Many years later I found it and with great joy it was as I remembered. From the hardwood floors to the Olive Oils the place has not changed a bit. There are new names and new faces that work there but everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. The sandwiches are great, stuffed olives a must, sausages, cheeses, wines, and great selections for dinner. I miss my grandfather- but I feel he wanted me to find this gem again and again. It never disappoints. Go... what are you waiting for. It never disappoints.

I have been coming here at least once a week for the last 2 months now. I work in the area, and stumbled upon this place. Sylvia always greets me with a smile. The sandwiches are AMAZING and affordable. The Italian cold cut is my fav, I also love the Italian wedding soup. They always have $5 bottles of wine, and great grocery selections. My new fav deli!

I have been shopping there for years my mother used to take me as a child. And I still like the smell when I go inside. They make great sandwiches in the food and stuff is always fresh.

This is a Baltimore mainstay. Old school Italian market with great cheese and various ingredients for Italian. They also carry beer and wine with really good deals and prosciutto bread that’s hard to not eat before you get out the store. Great place with both prepared foods, deli sandwiches, gelato etc. if you’re having a picnic or quick lunch with friends - hit it. Can’t go wrong.

Trinacria is an excellent example of what an authentic Italian market should be. Being of Italian decent myself and growing up across the street from another authentic Italian market in my younger years, this place lacks nothing! Keep it up Triacria!!!

Excellent staff, Italian food selection, prepared foods, and good prices. Nothing has changed which is great when you start off with a 5 star rating. Service is still personal and great. Luncheon meats are always the best and never slimy like grocery store deli's that add water. Cheeses are the best. Well worth it to go out of your way to stop in. You can also email orders in ahead of time.

Excellent little Italian deli! I come often for their homemade vodka sauce and their meatballs. They have a great sandwich counter, and a small cannoli display. They have affordable wines too! The employees are always friendly & welcoming & offer to help you out to your car if needed. If you haven’t been, stop in to check it out!

The food was pretty good and the cashier was pleasant. However, the girl with the french tips, another employee who was standing at the counter, has really bad vibes, micromanaging the cashier and rolling her eyes at her despite the cashier doing a good job. This was my first experience with Trinacria at their Lexington Market location. Perhaps just an off day for that person, but didn't make for a great first impression and felt bad for the cashier.

Yum! So many great options here, from deli sandwiches on fresh bread to enormous cans of olive oil to reasonably priced wines. I come every weekday I am in the neighborhood.

ordered lasagna and an Italian sub circle for Christmas. Both were a hit with everyone! Service is great, and the people there are very accommodating, food freshly made and reasonably priced. Definitely will do this again!

We had our Family get together Christmas party yesterday. Due to some time constraints and other obligations, we decided to have Trinacria cater for us. Although we always get the ingredients from there to prepare at home, this year was all them. My grandfather took me there as a kid for their stuff. I live on the Eastern Shore now, but have to get there, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas time. Their sausage is the best on planet earth, not even up for debate. The whole experience, from talking to Vince for the order, to them actually delivering the food at our event was perfect. There was a extreme amount of food. Each dish from the Lasagna, to Chicken Parm, Ziti, sausage and peppersto the Cannolis was perfect and as always a hit with our Italian family. They get 10 stars. Thanks so much to everyone there, and Merry Christmas to the whole staff. John M.

Great old school Italian deli, great sandwiches and fully stocked with so many great specialty foods and wines... plus affordable prices and awesome staff. It can be tricky to get parking but it's worth it!

Best place to be for comfort cold weather food and (of course) wine!!!

This small shop has it all…you can purchase foods imported from Italy and they have everything cooked/baked in house from cookies to breads to soups and sandwiches. The staff were very patient with me as I tried to figure out what and where to order and my mozzarella sandwich on focaccia bread is amazing. I will most definitely become a regular. They also have a huge olive selection, I am not an olive fan, but the picture is just to show the wide variety available.

This is my go-to for Italian flavors and it doesn't miss. Homemade bucatini and other pastas, homemade breads, marinara and other sauces, pizza crusts and even precooked meals and fine olive oils dominate the shelves. It's crowded every time I go and usually, I can hardly wait to get home to try what I've bought. If you like the "real thing" in Italian specialties and don't mind crowds (most folks wore masks), this is your place, but remember, it's mine, too!!!

I've been going to Trinacria for decades. It's my favorite Italian grocery in Baltimore. Homemade pasta (also DeCecco), sauces, meatballs, many kinds of ravioli, big pans of lasagna, manicotti and like that, meats, cheeses, wine, olives, cookies, bread, coffee... Their sandwiches are incredible. The veggie sandwich on focaccia with tapenade and fresh mozzarella is amazingly delicious! Just go. You will be happy and well fed!

One of my best discoveries ever! I was familiar with the restaurant over on Park Avenue (no longer around) and decided to make the trip to the grocery store for the first time. And I'm glad I did. When you walk in the soul of Italy greets you. There are many libations and varieties of tinned tomatoes and olive oil. There also is a deli as well. Visit soon and see for yourself why it is so hard to put the sublime experience into words.

I come from an Italian family I grew up In bmore and we have been coming to this store my whole life and now we drive from pa just to go here to get the stuff we need to make our sauce!!

Fantastic selection of Italian foods, both prepared, dry and frozen. Their frozen ravioli are incredible, as are the cannoli, subs, meats, cheeses and olives. They also have full trays of homemade frozen lasagna, which are great to serve at parties. A treasure of a store!

Thank God for Trinacria!! Cento tomatoes, fresh cheeses and olives, imported wines, Italian cookies and cannoli, homemade foods: meatballs, ravioli, pasta sauces, etc, and the people who work there are amazing. I love this place.

Sandwiches are great and always filling. The pre-made pastas are great to take home, heat/cook and enjoy. Have not gotten something from them and regretted it. Great establishment.

This is the place to go for Italian food and the ingredients to cook for yourself. Everyone is friendly and the products are fresh and good quality as well. I recommend this place for an authentic Sicilian deli experience. They've been here since 1900. I mean come on this place is not only historic but its a part of the culture here in Baltimore.

The best Italian deli in Maryland! My wife and I have been going there for 35 years and love the place and the staff. We remember when the current owner was a boy who could barely see over the counter. Best prices quality and selection.

Been going to Trinacria for years. The staff, the food, the convenience, the specialty items all make it one of my favorite places in Baltimore. You’ll enjoy the charming store and the food even more.

Not accessible, old-world shop. They were so nice that I'll bet you could order over the phone and they'd bring it out to you. They had well more than everything I was looking for! Plenty of homemade and imported items from every course of the menu. The deli and carry-out counter make everything to order and they cut/wrap it freshly while you wait. Parking is a puzzle and there's no accessible parking in the area. I parked 2 blocks away. They held on to my paid packages and I drove up the alley beside the store to load my car that way. While I was there a Baltimore City Fire Department firetruck came in for a couple of firefighters to order and pick up their lunches. If firefighters eat there, what's more reassuring than that? Prices are more than fair. I'd been chomping at the bit for years to visit Trinacria, and to support them as a small business with a long legacy in the City. I was not disappointed.

Great selection of affordable imported Italian goods. A real gem of Baltimore that serves as an anchor of Italian tradition on the margins of downtown. Particularly great to shop there during lunch as their sandwiches are awesome, and are a perfect holdover for the commute home before restocking the kitchen. Additionally they have a selection of inexpensive wines that are great for parties or casual table wine. Great bakery as well given there isn’t one in Mt Vernon
