I've been looking for a place that has Turkish coffee. So glad they make it.

Cute restaurant. Sausage was delicious. I had Doro Wat. Lavash was fantastic as were the pickled onions. The only problem was the meat was tough and the sauce was yogurt water (no flavor) which dripped through the bread.

Stopped by in person for a drink and meal for lunch. I asked the host if take-out was an option; they confirmed, handed me a menu and instructed me to go the bar for food and drink orders. The barista at the bar completely dismissed my food order saying the restaurant does not do take-out. Okay, just a coffee for me then, nevermind the man that just walked out with takeout. But if that was the case, why was I able to walk back to my office and place an order online? Food was ready within 20 minutes and I walked right back to pick it up. Why they would deny an in person order while taking online orders baffles me. Food was overpriced but good. Chai Latte was served lukewarm.

Can’t comment on food as we never got any. Walked in, waited by sign that said wait to be seated, watch what appeared to be the only waiter working, setting tables, walking by and not saying a word. Also sitting behind bar at cash register was a woman that looked extremely bored was looking at us and never moved or acknowledged us. Waited 5 plus minutes and walked out. We encountered another couple on their way in and told them good luck and what our experience was. They promptly turned away to find another restaurant. Poor customer service lost 4 customers that will probably never go back

I have had a lot of Turkish food in my life; my grandmother and rest of that side of my family is Middle Eastern and cooked Turkish and Mediterranean food all the time. I also spent time in Europe where I often ate Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. I've eaten at many Turkish restaurants in the U.S. as well. I love Turkish food! The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice, though somewhat of an overabundance of Turkish style lamps in lieu of other Turkish artwork and displays. This was the worst Turkish food I have ever had. I love good falafel, which I have always found to be moist, flavorful and just the right "mushy" throughout. This falafel had an oily-fried shell on the outside(?) and was dry and bland in the inside. No flavor burst at all; could have been made from potatoes and I wouldn't have known the difference. I ordered the lamb-stuffed eggplant: the lamb tasted and looked undercooked and was just mushy and unappetizing. There was very little of anything else in the eggplant that stood out in terms of flavor, texture or color contrast. The worst part was that the whole meal was entirely bland; I ended up adding salt to the eggplant just to have some flavor. Forget spicy at any level! The falafel portion was good; the entree portion was unexpectedly small. However, the seasonal tap beer - a stout- was absolutely delicious!!! $55 later (including tip)...I realized it was also very overpriced. Long and short of it is: if this was the only Turkish food I'd ever had, I would say that I don't like Turkish food. That would be a shame and I'm glad I know better.

Oh yum!!! I don't know a lot about Turkish food but have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and was excited when a friend asked me to go! We were seated in an awkward spot at a tiny table behind a big post and sort of squished between the cash register stand and another table of people. But we looked past that and made the best of it. The restaurant is huge and beautiful! Very comforting with minimalistic industrial boho vibes. The servers were friendly and didn't mind at all that we stayed after our breakfast and chatted for a while. I ordered a very American scrambled eggs, home fries, gluten-free toast, and a side of bacon. I wanted to be adventurous like my friend was but I don't eat beef and there is a lot of beef on the menu for breakfast surprisingly! However, the eggs were probably the best I've ever had - so cheesy, flavourful, and cooked to perfection! The bacon was also top-notch! Can't wait to go back!!!

Ordered for to go 2 adana kabeb, fritters and falafel which were complete waste of money, portion and taste is not worth of money I paid $94 for this order. Please don't waste your money. REPLY TO THE OWNER : Everything is expensive, but restaurants increase the price and also reduce the quantity of the food, which is not justified. You can see the photos which I added and dine in pictures, which doesn't seem to be the same. Especially to go orders are not same as dine in. FYI, You see those fritters and kebab platters with no enough portion of rice or vegetables, adding quater of an onion 2 slice of tomato doesn't count and 4 square lettuce doesn't count to be a salad.

My husband was born and raised in Balıkesir, Turkey, so we seek out Turkish restaurants when we travel. This one was a disappointment. It started with the hostess, who seemed disgusted that we couldn’t sit at a table with high chairs. I’m short, and just can’t be comfortable in a high chair. There were plenty of open tables with short chairs. She choose to seat us at a table that was between a half wall and a garbage can next to a wait station. Not Turkish hospitality to say the least. This table should be reserved as a last ditch, only table available space, and the garbage can should be removed. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. We ordered a meze platter to share. The haydari had a good mint flavor and the salsa was tasty. The grape leaves and the rest of the platter was unnecessarily salty. The sıgara böreği was much too salty as well. Yes Turkish cheese is salty, but the börek didn’t need extra on the phyllo. It was served with what tasted like ketchup. My husband ordered the döner with salad, and the greens were nice and fresh. The meat was juicy, as it should be. I had the lentil soup, which was rather bland. The minuscule lemon provided was laughable, but the waiter quickly brought more. So, if you’re not familiar with Turkish food and hospitality and not concerned about your salt intake, you may enjoy this place. If you are ever in Bethlehem PA, try the Anatolian Kitchen. They don’t have as many fancy baubles decorating their space, but they do serve authentic Turkish fare with genuine Turkish hospitality!

The service at Tuckerbox was phenomenal. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made great suggestions. Overall, we enjoyed our drinks and were so-so on the food. The meze platter for 2 was underwhelming to say the least (maybe 2 tablespoons of each dip, 2 dolmas, 1 bread). I enjoyed the phyllo cheese rolls and my friend enjoyed her lentil soup (she said it was the best part of the meal) but neither of us particularly enjoyed the zucchini fritters—they were fairly bland. We shared the döner kebab plate and it was fine. The biggest disappointment was the halva-tahini brownie, though. There were two 1-inch cubes of cold chocolate cake, next to no halva, and you couldn't taste the tahini. We're glad we tried something new... Maybe we just hit an off night. I'd give it another try.

Ticker box sold me a wonderful lunch! I am very glad I ate there yesterday. I started w the red lentil soup, which was divine. Rich, tasty, and amply served. I’d go back just for the soup. The little piece of toast seemed like an afterthought. Some grilled pita strip(s) might have been more fun. Still, it could have w no accompaniment and I would have still been thrilled. The gyro was equally delightful. Be warned, it comes wrapped in translucent parchment paper. I almost bit into it… I bet they have security cameras for just such a customer. Great to play back at holiday parties, ha, ha! The tzatziki was a little runny. Made a small mess while I was eating, but hey, that’s on me. Everything inside the wrap seemed fresh. Tasted delicious. I sat at the bar. Not my favorite spot. But, I was alone, and the place did fill up. At one point I heard someone 86ing all takeout. Curious. But I get it is for the safety of the servers. That endorsement certainly whetted our appetites! We both had the Daily Scramble chef's special, which did not disappoint! It was busy, with folks coming and going while we were there, and the servers really hustled, doing a great job for their guests. We have been fortunate on our two visits to have Deurow as our server (sorry for the misspelling). He is full of excellent recommendations and is never short on good humor. He takes good care of us and makes sure we leave with good memories of our meal and the experience. This is a real treat for us. Thank you!

A return visit after having vacationed in the area a couple of years ago. Breakfast as I remembered was served hot, was well seasoned and the portion was generous. Prices are higher (but that's everywhere) and portions seem much smaller. The scrambled 3 eggs hardly resembled 3 eggs! Salt was required. Server was pleasant but somewhat forgetful.

It was listed by Google specifically as a coffee place, but their espresso machine was broken. I drove 15-20 minutes out of my way to get there. I cannot vouch for their food or service, as I did not eat there.

Excellent Turkish food, especially the Ezme (Turkish salsa), Kunefe (tasty dessert), the cocktails, and the breakfast meats. The space is lovely, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful.

It takes a rare skill to make Turkish food this tasteless and dull. Our meze and main courses (meat and fish) required salt, pepper, and hot sauce to make them less dull and more palatable. Portions were small. Their lavash bread was dry and stale. The only good things – fast, friendly service and draft beer. This restaurant would’ve closed after a month in a big city but lives in White River Junction.
