Basic food ,we had our hope high for delicious meals and hearty portions , we were all disappointed to say the least.I really wonder about these high reviews!

Our first time in tonight. We were pleasantly surprised! The summer rolls and pot stickers were divine and our entrees were also very good!

I've dined at dozens of Thai restaurants and their version of Tom Yum is nothing close to Authentic Thai. Prices were fair but food was not exemplary.

I had high hopes since the reviews were good, and I’m honestly not sure how? Everything was so so bland. The crab rangoon and Thai eggrolls had no flavor at all. The pad see ewe and pineapple fried rice had a little more flavor, but not much. For $46 this meal was very lackluster and I won’t be back and the search will continue for a good and local Thai restaurant.

The Pad See Ew was not that good. The sauce was thin and the shrimp had a strong odor. My friend enjoyed her dish.

Best Thai food in the area. Always consistent and great offerings on the menu. Friendly service. Lucky to have this restaurant in close proximity.

Always good food and good service. The byob is huge in this economy and the owners are just really nice. This is our go to place but haven’t reviews in a Long time. Excellent.

The best Thai restaurant ever. It’s a very small place so the tables are close together but the food is so good that I didn’t mind. This is the restaurant we take all our guests to and the one my kids go to when they visit. Really fast service, food is hot (temperature), and delicious.

Thai iced tea is amazing, and I had a seafood soup that was amazing. I'm not super familiar with Thai food but everything has been amazing. Very friendly staff.

I really enjoyed the beef pad thai! It seemed extra beefy like they cooked the noodles in beef stock or something, very tasty.

The tofu pad thai lunch special was excellent. It came with a spring roll appetizer which is always a plus. Was it the best? Well, you'll have to find out yourself.

Thumbs up for Tusk Thai! Enjoyed the Chicken Pad Thai spicy for a weekday lunch. Plan to stop in again soon.

First time trying this place. I had their PadThai with chicken. It was delicious. Topped it off with hot sauce and it was even more impressive. It's a small intimate restaurant and the gentleman who took my order was personable. I will definitely be back again.

Food was all amazing and very fast service with everything arriving hot and fresh. The Money Bags and the spicy basil fried rice were both delicious!!

Everything was VERY tasty. Pad Thai was excellent, coconut shrimp also great. Mossomon Curry great. My only negative comment would be the meat pieces were smaller and not very thick but they were tasty

1st time, got take out to go to Sturdy shelter and have a nice hump-nite supper 'n drink! Spring rolls amazing! Like little sushi rolls..cute. I had pad thai. Good, missing somthing..maybe fried egg? Had tofu added which was tasty. Wife had pad see ewe, loved it. I tried the large flat noodle, tasty! Id be back!

I don't know how I have never written a review for this place but let me state how much I miss Tusk Thai since moving away from the area. I have spent probably more time at Tusk than any other food establishment ever. I came here maybe once or twice before 2019. But when I came here for my first date with my girlfriend in 2019 we were both big fans of the food. We made it a point to try and order from Tusk at least once a month to support them since they are a local business. We would come to tusk for every anniversary, to celebrate other things as well. The family that runs it are the nicest people you will ever meet, the foods always amazing, the space inside is indeed small and can lead to limited seating on popular date nights out,etc but I have always called to make a reservation and never once had a issue in the many years I came to tusk. I wish nothing but the best for tusk, and am sad to no longer live near it. If i ever come back to the area tusk thai is the first stop on the list. The Pad Thai, the musumon curry, and the curry noodle dish were my three go to dishes when I came here. If you have never been here it is worth going.

Chicken satay very dry and tasted old. Everything else was about average.

Excellent restaurant for an authentic pad thai. Great menu choices and friendly service. I'll definitely be coming back.

My husband and I love Tusk! We have been coming here for 8yrs. It is consistently delicious! We are never disappointed! He always gets Thai fire and I usually get basil noodles. Try the Nom sod salad too! And the Tom Kar soup! Everything is wonderful! We love Tusk and everyone who works there! Genuinely kind and friendly!

Husband ordered curry noodles and I got my go-to pad Thai (to go). Food was ready on time and well packaged. The noodles from both dishes were very mushy and unappetizing. The crab rangoon was good but small amount for what you pay. We just moved to area and was hoping this to be our new go to Thai place but the search continues

Comfortable atmosphere, welcoming staff, and amazing food! Tried the Mussamon Curry and my girlfriend had the Lar Nar. We loved it!

Horrible place with ton of food flies allover the place. We couldn't even enjoy our food because bugs were hovering on the food. When complained the owner ignorantly said oh yeah there's some flies and he know but can't do anything about it. Not sure how come health department hasn't issued any violations or closed it down. Please DONOT eat at this place or you will get sick. We had to pack our food ND leave and I was still kind enough to pay my bill but didn't leave any tip because they don't deserve at all.

They have great Pad Thai and BYOB. Corkage fee is only $3!!!

This place is amazing! Flavor is incredible and they are super nice. The only thing I wish the appetizers portions were bigger but that's because it was all so yummy. Overall this just became one of our favorite spots!

It's hard to get through to them on the phone and not everyone wants to operate solely through there internet. One other thing. If one meal, out of the four ordered wanted spice- why does each person end to with spicy food? I feel like I can't get spicy rice because then no one in the rest of my family can eat their meal because it's spicy by proxy.

June 16, 2023 I met a friend who was taking me to lunch for my birthday. Unfortunately, we did not stay. Why? Because the man at the counter was not nice. My friend asked for hot water with lemon, 3 times. I thought he did not hear her. I went to the counter and asked if she could get a hot water with lemon and let him know we were ready to order. His response, "I heard her". I was shocked by his response because he never acknowledged hearing her yet stated he heard her but failed to fulfill the request. We each work for our money and we have the power to spend our money with those who honor and respect fellow humans. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to eat at Tusk Thai. Hopefully, the man will evaluate his actions and decide to behave in a manner more conducive to service. Thank you.

The food is the absolute best. Doesn't matter what you order! Staff is extremely friendly. Been coming here for years and this time when Wonchi saw our order which is very specific he noticed and came out to say hi.

We ordered take out for the first time today. It was absolutely delicious 😋. This will definitely be our new go-to Thai restaurant. The beef rice and steamed rice was DAMN GOOD and cooked to perfection! The "medium"spice for the Basil Beef & Shrimp Noodles was spot on. My only complaint would be the shrimp had tails on still and there was very little shrimp in the dish considering the add on cost. My husband & kids said we should give 10 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered Pad Thai with shrimp. Unbeknownst to me numerous pieces of shrimp tails were in the food, one getting caught in my throat. After was able to pick out the shrimp tails out. Still can't get rid of the taste.

The place was clean, service was polite, food was quick out of the kitchen. Priced and portioned properly. I wish all restaurants were run as good as this one is.

Best Thai in Batavia. Location is small and in an older building. We ordered take-out. It was ready when promised and, as usual, very tasty.

Summer rolls were almost all lettuce, sesame chicken stir fry was dry and the chicken pieces were small and mostly breading and the pineapple fried rice had 2 small pieces of pineapple. For &40.00 not including tip we probably won’t do takeout again.

I loved this restaurant! the hospitality was amazing! And the owner of the restaurant is literally the most sweetest and amazing host. As well as the staff the chef who makes the food is such an amazing cook because the food was so freaking good! I rate this place a 10/10.

Be aware, This is a Chinese restaurant not thai, ordered shrimp fried rice, it looks or taste nothing like thai. + asked for 2 of 5 spicy, the food was fire 5 of 5 spicy. Anyways.

$71 Phil's expensive for two dumplings two chicken satay one penang curry, one money bags that were completely burnt (see picture) one pot stickers two shrimp roll. Everything was overcooked It was busy when I picked it up and they clearly weren't paying attention to individual orders. Thai village is very close there's Penang in Geneva if they want regular business they need to up their game at this price for take out.

We have been coming here for years. It is always consistent, and the staff is always friendly. My only gripe is that I wish they would bring back lunches!

Tusk Thai what a nice reunion tonight! We haven’t been to Tusk since pre-Covid and today was our first time back after a long time. The food was just as amazing as i remember it. It comes out hot and the portions are generous. Everything has a unique spice profile. This is authentic Thai food and if you haven’t been to Tusk you are missing out on one of the best Thai places in St Charles/batavia area. The service is wonderful. All of the staff are so warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back. We ordered tom yum soup, Tom kah soup, green curry, shrimp and coconut curry, and the peanut noodles. Yum.

Slow service. Waited an hour for a red curry.

So far my favorite Thai restaurant in the Tricity area. The food was great, nice and varied selection of meals. Staff were incredibly sweet and attentive and very obviously are the heart of the place. Definitely recommend!

This is a wonderful little Thai restaurant located near the Fox River in Batavia Illinois. I've been visiting Tusk Thai for many years and has never disappointed me. The food is very authentic with my favorite being NumSod, larb and their Tom yum.

Wanted to love it based on reviews & supporting small, local...but drove from Naperville, not open for indoor dining (which is fine...just adjust it online...), arrived at 8pm on a Saturday, hours listed open until 10pm, told they were closing soon. These details should be adjusted...

I feel like the quality is decreasing. Used to love this place, but it's becoming overpriced. The food was cold and oily. Hoping it improves as the pandemic ends!

Easily the yummiest Thai food in the area, I love their yellow curry. I always think of trying something else but the yellow curry is just THAT good. I take everyone here and they always agree this place has superior flavor. My sister loves the pad thai. I eat here at least once a month, I cant get enough. The staff is very friendly as well, I've only ever gotten pick up so I can't attest to the dining experience.
