Love there stuff!! Always have to stop!!

My kids gobbled up the pandan bread and pineapple coconut bread in the car! (And they are not adventurous eaters). The banana bread was devoured in a minute! This was the perfect roadside treat after snorkelling all morning.

The ube sticky rice is one of the most satisfying things I’ve had on this trip! Amazing!

We have been traveling the big island and wanted to experience something low key and fresh out of local farm and we accidentally found this beautiful bakery.

Most classic Hawaii bakery teeming with Aloha imaginable. Honor system and delicious creative treats, spanning from local flavors and a little more exotic, to the most decadent classic gooey chocolate chip cookie bar for my 6 year old. Cute little bakery I accidentally stumbled upon on our drive to the beach. Many different types of sweet bread, pies and some fruits available to purchase.

Literally the best stop for dessert on all Kona side! Everything is so Ono, you cannot go wrong.. make sure you get the ube pie from the cooler!!

I wanted to try ube sweets, so I bought ube haupia, ube sticky rice, and an additional coconut pineapple cake. I felt that the ube haupia and ube sticky rice were a little too sweet for Japanese people. But the taste was very good. Coconut pineapple cake is moderately sweet, slightly chewy, and very delicious! It was a very nice shop with discounted products❣️

The sweetest little roadside honor bar stand with the tastiest bread. We got many flavors, but the chocolate banana bread was our favorite. Perfect treat after a morning of snorkeling!

It's a cute self serve tent on the side of the road. Would be nice if there were more or bigger signs to help see it. But the cake options are great! Lots to pick from and interesting local flavors. Use cash or venmo to pay.

Such a sweet and delicious self-serve spot. You can pay with Venmo. There was some local fruit and jewelry, but the baked goods stole the show. We grabbed butter mochi coconut cake, chocolate coconut pie, pineapple coconut cake, abrownie, and coconut sticky rice. Seriously fantastic!

A small bakery set up on the side of the road on the Big Island of Hawaii…all on the honor system. Fantastic variety and delicious treats!

We bought a few things from this roadside stand but the standout was the coconut chocolate pie. The entire family wants to go back for another slice. The banana bread was also a hit. We will be back!

Visited on 4th of July. So many good options - I ended up buying a lot and the owner said we could get 2 more for free! She is so sweet ❤️ It was the perfect souvenir to bring my friends and coworkers back in New York. Yes, these can be taken on the plane luckily! My favorite was the pineapple cake and the chocolate banana walnut cake, regular banana cake was sold out so it must be popular, too. This bakery came highly reccomended after visiting Two Step beach. We took the scenic route with the top down and drove past the botanical garden after. It was a really nice bonding experience for me and my mom and now a cherished memory.

My family loves this little roadside bakery! Her baked stuff is fantastic every time! My husband loves the ube breads. Her banana bread is awesome….moist and she actually knows how to balance the sweetness with some salt perfectly. My kids went crazy for her brookies! Mahalo!

Just WOW! Trust me, I tried a lot of different desserts all around the world but this little street shack? It got me. The pineapple cake has the BEST consistency, so squishy, moist and delicious. And the sticky rice? Ahhhh. Try it! Try everything! I will head there again to grab some for of that local godness♡♡♡ lots of love

When we saw all the good reviews we decided to give a try !!! And no regrets it was excellent !!! we took a chocolate banana bread, pineapple coconut bread and a chocolate/kona coffee brownie.All 3 were fantastic ! I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

This was a surprise roadside treat on our drive south from Kona, and sooo worth the stop. Chocolate and coconut cream pies, banana bread, and chocolate chip cookies were all very good and a welcome addition to the drive!!! They take Venmo too which is convenient.

We stopped this evening and picked up banana bread, a chocolate chip cookie, and a piece of chocolate pie. We tried the cookie this evening and it was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to try the banana bread in the morning. If you are going to or from Two Step Beach or the National Park - this is a must stop! PS. The prices are very reasonable!

Self service, monitored road side bakery with many fantastic treats to keep you fueled on your adventure. We had the Ube Haipua pie, pineapple - coconut cake, and a chocolate chip cookie bar. All were delicious, fresh, generous portion sizes at very fair prices. I highly recommend!

What a gem! Unpretentious stand with delicious baked goods (and fruit and other stuff!). I love this system with transactions based on trust and honesty. We bought a bunch of things on our way to the beach, all fresh and yummy. Going back for sure.

The baked goods were so good. We stopped by a couple years ago and I was so happy we got to come back on this trip! The coffee chocolate brownie bar was sooo good. And my kids loved the chocolate chip cookie bar. Of course you can't go wrong with the banana bread!

This is an unmanned direct sales place for cakes. Purchased banana cake, pineapple cake, and ube cake. I've only eaten banana cake so far, but it's delicious, salty and not too sweet. In Hawaii, when I think of cake, I always think of sugary violence, but this one went really well. I think you should try buying it while passing by. The cakes are $4 each, and sometimes there are discounts for $2 each.

The pineapple coconut cake was so good I had to immediately go back in for more! Love that the bakery is automated and you just buy stuff and pay via venmo or cash. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stop by.

Surfboard with "Bakery" painted on it got our attention. What a great stop. We found a local county worker stopped there so we figured it must be good. What a treat. The selection is amazing and everything is soooo good. What a way to represent the local tastes of the island and we love to support small local business over commercial places. 100% satisfaction. So fresh and so tasty! So glad we stopped here. Wish we had such great goodies back in Cali. This place operates on an honor system.... We were on Kona for a month, and found this bakery by chance our first day. We stopped by again toward the end of our trip and were so happy to see some of the items there that had been sold out the first time! And no wonder...they were so delicious! We pretty much have gotten at least one of everything now, lol. It was all very good!

Read about this place on a local’s blog and it definitely didn’t disappoint! You can’t get more island than a roadside bakery with Ube treats and sweets. Everything is pre packaged and is on an honor based pay system which I love. Super quick and easy - and incredibly tasty!

It’s a self serve location. Tiny and cute. We got bought 1 tiny bun of each flavor. My kids all love it. Very yummy. It’s a bit too sweet for me. And we only have 3 tiny buns left out of 8. They are $4 each. Also tried the sticky rice, it’s ok.

Lovely honor system type bakery booth on the side of the road that is chock-full of moist, tasty, unique desserts! The walnut Kona coffee brownie and the banana bread were both amazing! They have Venmo or a cash box where you can drop cash in. No person or cashier on site. Like many small shops in Hawaii, they trust you to take and give as you are supposed to. Love this system! Perfect post snorkeling spot to get your sweet fix! <3

Yet another 5 star review! Banana bread was the best we had on the island. We went a couple of times on our way back from 2 step beach. They had a good selection and definitely worth the quick stop to see what they have that day!

We passed the stand on the way to the state park AND went back the following day to get more stuff. The banana bread and sticky rice were good and I liked the mochi cakes. Yum!

Adorable roadside stand with absolutely delicious and supremely unique desserts. Everything we had was amazing, but the standouts for me were the ube sticky rice and ube mochi. A perfect snack for a trip to the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park (which is also amazing)

Really cute break bakery with a lot of fresh baked goodies! We grabbed a bunch. Most of the breads are $4 and they also have some desserts in the cooler. It's located off the side of the road so just park and the side and stop by if you get the chance!

The baked goods you didn’t know you needed! Everything we got was delicious and we wanted seconds. The chocolate chip brownie, chocolate chip banana bread, mochi cakes etc 🤤🤤🤤. Best bakery we’ve been to in a long time (Islands or Mainland). It’s 100% worth a trip even if you are staying up in town. You will wish you had food it sooner. 100/10!!

This place truly is a must if you're on Big Island!! Cash or Venmo, look for the small white canopy basically on a street corner, park on the shoulder. I was completely floored by the ube mochi cake and ube haupia pie - ube is usually a subtle flavor, but these brought out it's deliciousness. The perfect amount of sweet with great textures and tasty enough to make me want to go back daily for the same items and to try more! Support local!

The best coconut sticky rice I’ve ever had in my life! I also got the pineapple coconut cake, eating that was like eating a piece of heaven, I didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to come back to the Big Island just for Two Step Bakery. Support local vendors, if you’re on your way to snorkel at two step this is the one and only bakery you should stop at! The absolute cutest roadside bakery on the island!!! Great place to stop for snacks on the way to Two Step! We enjoyed our tasty treats while relaxing in the sunshine. Hands down best baked goods on the Big Island!!
