The pizza, cheese cake and deserts are the best around and very affordable

Nice shady spot by a stream to eat and relax.

Cheesecake and pizza are fantastic. The seating out back is lovely along the little counter with the running water. Perfect stop after a hike or scenic drive at highpoint. Will be back for sure. Super friendly service, too.

We were just passing through and wanted to give it a try. First of all prices were amazing for the amount of food you get. Food tasted amazing, salad was nice a fresh and my daughter truly enjoyed their prized #1 in the state cheesecake. Lg cheese pizza, garden salad, garlic bread, 4 sodas, 2 cheesecake all for $52 with tax! Highly recommend!!

Cute lil spot. Found this spot while riding my bike through the area. topped for a few slices. Pizza is pretty decent and the staff are very friendly. Place seems to have a some good specials and soups. Clean, cute, and courteous staff. This place was a pleasant surprise along my route.

We stumbled upon this place on ride home from PA and were happy we did. The garlic knots were the best we ever had and the pizza was baked perfectly 👌. Owners were very friendly- wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.

Stopped by here on my way back from High Point State park. The outside porch has a beautiful view of the creek below. Definitely recommend sitting outside. I had the Wings, Pizza, and the famous cheesecake. The wings were okay however, the pizza was delicious. The cheesecake was very tasty as well. The owner was a nice guy that came outside to make sure i was happy with my order. The staff are very friendly as well.

Went home with the expectation of an exceptional cheesecake with my to-go 8” cheesecake but was greatly disappointed. The cheese cake was undercooked, not firm in the center, and had the consistency of a custard. As for service, I was spoken to like I was unintelligent when trying to understand how toppings and add ons worked. Lastly, atmosphere, one of the staff members smelled of marijuana. Not worth the 50$+ spent on the cheesecake and the additional charge for strawberry glaze.

This is a really cute family owned business with good food and people! We get our pizza here all the time and the cheesecake is awesome!!!

The food was like a burst of flavor. I ate the entire dish. I left nothing on that plate. Such sweet people working there. It is a nice & relaxing spot.

The cheesecake was delicious. But my chicken was awful. It felt undercooked, but it wasn't. My guess is that it was frozen and didn't defrost well

I visited the place with my family and friend. We stopped over for late lunch after our visit to High Point Monument park. We had Vegetarian along with us and we could find only Pizza for them. Pizza with veggies topping was ordered and pizza was decently good, thin crust was pretty nicely baked. I enjoyed eating chicken parm with a cup of coffee ☕. The cafe is decorated with small details taken in consideration and a must try thing is cheesecake . They say they are the best cheesecake seller in 2020,2021,2022 and it really tastes good.

We loved this place and the owners are great! The pizza was deliciously amazing! Everything is made to order From Scratch! We ate outside on the patio, where our pups were welcomed, and with the creek running right along side 😊

Stopped on our way from the Catskills to Brooklyn. We saw the billboard and then almost drove by. The “pizza” flag demarcated the entrance. Friendly, hospitable service. The French Dip was delightful, the roll was crusty and soft, perfect. The deck out back by the creek gave a real ambience to this rustic little cafe. What a find.

Everything about Up the Creek Cafe is excellent. We are so delighted to find this place. I had eggplant rollatini and the eggplant was crisp and SO flavorful, the sauce and the ricotta were perfect. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell that their standards are high. We will definitely be back.

Great food ! The people working there make you feel like family. Service top notch.

The women working is very friendly and kind. The food on the other hand is not great. The sandwiches would be a lot better with higher quality bread. Also, our food came out quite cold. Overall okay.

Always forget this place delivers so probably haven't tried them as much as we should. Garlic knots are amazing. Honestly, they're swimming in oil usually, not sure if that's a by product of ordering delivery, never had them in house. That being said, a quick roll over a paper towel before serving it up and delicious. Marinara sauce is very good. Love the flavor. Pizza is decent. Good dough, quality cheese, and toppings are fresh. One star off for the sauce though. Somehow, its alil sweet yet very acidic all at the same time adding a bit of a sour taste. Personal opinion, pizza could be really good with some tweaking of the sauce. Have had the "award winning" cheesecake. Its good, but really dont see the big deal that separates it from other good cheesecakes, still makes for a tasty dessert. Staff and delivery people are always friendly and polite. Overall, foods pretty good, could use alil tweaking with certain things but definitely worth stopping in or picking up the phone and ordering up. They get a 👍 from me.

Their pizza is a gem in northern Sussex county! Brought home a couple slices of their award winning cheesecake, and I have to say, one of the best I ever had!

What a lovely stop. You are welcomed as you walk in the door with smiles. We could not have asked for better service or food. Plan your visit before 2:30 and after 4:30 because they close two hours every day to clean and sanitize. ❤️🌺🙏

Restaurant was a great find! Food is delicious. We had sandwiches and salad (enormous for a side) and, of course, dessert! I almost forgot the garlic bread that was provided to us that was soooooo good! Wanted to bring an order home to our mom, but it wouldn't have made it. The sign outside that said #1 cheesecake 2 years in a row enticed us. Lol Let me tell you, it was definitely worth trying! Wouldn't mind a whole cake to go! Such a friendly atmosphere and yummy food. If you're in the area or heading to High Point Park, don't forget to stop here.

This is by far the best Italian cafe around. This is now our favorite spot to order from in the area. We’ve gotten food there several times so far and every single thing has been amazing. And the prices are very very fair! We have tried something different each time and are always saying how great it all is. And of course we had to try the cheesecake and it’s hard not getting it each time I go haha

Friendly staff willing to work with dietary needs. Excellent old-fashioned greasy pizza but not too greasy, enough to be delicious. Cheesecake voted #1 in the state recently at the State Fair. We tried it and agree that it is light and creamy and deserves it's vote of #1!

We visited the place yesterday while we were on our way to the High Point State Park. Being a small family business, you can see the owners put a lot of care in their place. There are many decorating props all over the place you can look at. The service is friendly and the food is great. If you are ever in the area, make sure to stop by.

The eggplant parmigiana was okay, but overcooked. The garlic bread was more like just bread and butter. It was 25 cents for marinara sauce, which I thought was weird at an Italian restaurant.

Ordered a Hawaiian pizza, maybe 8 small pieces of pineapple on the whole pie, barely any ham. Sausage onion pepper pie was ok. Pizza was doughy with little red Sauce.

Finally stopped for lunch and ordered the Summer Veggie Pasta and Zucchini bread. Best we've ever had. Highly recommend this place to all of our friends and family. We are now loyal customers!!!!
