My wife and I seek out Boba tea wherever we go now, this cute shop was fantastic,

I have been wanting to try this place ever since it opened nearby, finally did and I am happy to say it's pretty good! Got three icecreams, one for me the other two for my family, and a milk mango boba. I got mint chocolate chip and I'd say it was pretty good. The milk mango was also pretty good and the boba being cooked in the store made the place smell so nice!

I have been to 3 bobba tea places looking for the perfect one for me. Today I tried Urban Tea!!! Absolutely wonderful!!!! I asked for less sugar, and it was delicious, I could actually taste the black tea. The cup that it comes is bigger then the other 2 places and it was even little cheaper! I will definitely come back for more and I will bring my kids Sorry for the bad pictures…. Perfect drink at the perfect price ❤️ Mine was taro milk, black tea and tapioca (Half of the sugar)

Clean, fun, and friendly atmosphere. Was met with an energetic and kind welcome. Got the Nutella and pink dragon açaí bowls, plus the skinny orange dreamsicle and beach bum energy spritzers. Very happy with all of them! No need for “regulars” as these were sweet enough with the “skinny” version.

Awesome taste ! (Tiger milk with vanilla ice cream) Really cool staff and environment, a bit expensive but overall worth it would definitely recommend 👍🏽👍🏽

The ladies here are always so so sweet and make you feel like a welcomed valued customer. The quality of the boba tea and the process in which is made is fantastic. This has become our new favorite bubble tea spot, especially for their milk teas that are actually true fragrant brewed teas and the fact that they have non dairy milk options 🤍

I had never been to a place like this before and I had no idea what to order because i cannot have lots of sugar. The employee behind the counter Lizzy was able to help me find exactly what I wanted and then we added coffee jellies! It was the best! We will definitely be back!

Very cute refreshing place. The drinks are delicious, the service is excellent. Custom order was accommodated gladly, questions answered patiently. It is a little expensive, but that is expected at a location this close to the beach. We will be back.

It was good flavor and the lady was nice, though the lavender add-on I got was so subtle I could barely taste it, but that's ok it was still good. The biggest issue was the tapioca boba were all clustered together in these big massive clumps that you could barely get through the straw, not sure how that happened but I've never seen that at a boba shop so hopefully it can be fixed because I would love to come back since I love boba and it's so close to my house. The cups also had a strange suction issue where there was maybe not enough air in it so every time you drank through the straw it would collapse the cup. Just some details that need work. Please let me know if it improves and I'll gladly come back :)

If you're looking for a Boba place, this is the place to go! They allow you to create your own drink, or you can order off their amazing menu. This place is so cool, The staff is so sweet. Even though they might not have the flavor you want, they will find something for you. Words can't describe how good this place is. You have to try this place out!

I got a mango fruit tea with mango popping pearls and it was amazing! The workers were extremely friendly and welcoming!! 11/10 recommend!!

I got the Longan Honey Boba Tea and it was excellent. They had a good selection of drinks. I live in West Melbourne but I will be making the drive to come here often. I loved it.

Unfortunately prices are very high for what you get. We were really disappointed in the smoothie bowls. A very tiny amount and low quality for $12 (pre-scooped and frozen hard and threw a few berries on top… definitely worth more like $4) sorry, I wanted to like this place:/

I’ve been here a few times with my family, the staff is always friendly and the boba is on point. I’ve tried almost every boba place in the area and this one seems to be the only one that knows how to prepare the boba correctly. Also the ability to mix ice cream and boba brings the experience to a whole other level.

First time trying this place for boba and it was bad, like really bad 😔. I love trying new tea/boba places around Melbourne as there are not many to choose from. This is not a good one, sadly, out of the many I’ve been too. The place itself is cute and I love the atmosphere but the actual thing it’s named after: tea, is awful. I got a matcha milk tea with boba and it was god awful. The matcha was bitter which only cheap matcha is. Also the boba itself was as hard as a rock and I don’t think they even put tea in the drink. Unless they are using a powered tea which some boba places use along with powered milk, which this place does use, then I was mistaken. If you are into powders then this is the place for you but I am not. I like freshly brewed teas and real milk. It enriches the flavors of the tea and this tea was not it. Now the boba, was just hard. The flavor of it was good. Strong brown sugar flavor but the texture was all wrong. In fact, the whole drink had a weird texture to me. Very grainy (probably the powders). Overall, bad place for boba tea. They do other things though like ice cream and they can always improve there boba since they are still new, but I hope they do or they will be quickly out of the boba business. * For great boba in Melbourne check out Rain-Bo Island on MLK. They know what the essence of tea and boba are.

Wow what a treat! We came to Urban Tea after failing to find another Boba place with indoor seating when the rain came, so glad we did! Everything our group got was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful when our kids were undecisive on what they wanted. 10/10 would recommend!!

Excellent new boba tea shop! Location may be a little tricky, but well worth finding. The owner is very welcoming, and the tea and hand scoop ice cream is great. So glad there is a shop like this in this part of IHB. Nice to be so close to the beach access.

It’s a very neat clean relaxing environment. Enjoyed their different varieties of teas, my favorite was rocket fuel totally recommend it if you’re wanting to experience a tea full of flavor. Awesome staff and great for conversation.

Finally got to try this place out, I got manny's coffee boba and my girlfriend got the beach bum spritzer. Both were well worth the trip beachside, will have to make this place part of our regular rotation.

I stopped by for a tea early in the week, it was very refreshing. The staff was very helpful. Then on Thursday I stopped in for a Chocolate Milkshake with my brother. The shakes were delicious. I will definitely return.

Me, my wife and kids and grandmother have visited this newly opened establishment “3” times since they opened just over a week ago…. That’s how good the boba and real ice cream shakes are! If you get the opportunity to stop by please do, you will not be disappointed!

Great dragonfruit bowl for lunch! Fresh fruit, granola and coconut. Mocha milk tea and real tapioca boba! New place, they are figuring it out….lots of options including no sugar added ice cream, espresso and less sweet boba drinks. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Really wanted to like this place, but prices are really high ($6.50 for a spritzer that was 90% huge block ice, $4.50 for a small scoop of ice cream) and just wasn’t good. The spritzer had no flavor and ice cream was very blah - Publix brand is actually better. Love to support local businesses, hopefully there will be some improvement.

Very clean prepping area, staff was helpful, ordered two boba drinks, drinks were ready fast and tasted great. Definitely will be back to try other drinks there..
