Stopped during my cruise. The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. The drinks hit the stop. Our waitress Andrea was lovely and very attentive.

The food took too much to get to the table and the place was barely full at most 5 different tables including us, food was overpriced, the waiter was really nice and she tried to do all she can but the kitchen was slow, we asked for a Burger, and Mofo go with steak and the taste was nothing special.

This place was recommended by locals because everything was already closed 🥲 it was Monday and my birthday too, I asked the waitress if they had a candle and she said no 🥲 but she was kind enough to give me a balloon 🎈 thank you very much! 🙏🏼 The food was normal, it was good 👍🏼 btw I fell in love with the alcapurrias 😂

The food was ok. The restaurant only had 3 tables and our food took 1 hour and 6 minutes to arrive and the order did not arrive complete. If you plan to come here, come early and not too hungry because you will wait a long time even if the restaurant is empty!

The food was just okay. The steak and pork were fine, but I had higher expectations given the price. The place is expensive, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They were upfront about the long wait, which I appreciated. Overall, the service was good.

Just don’t!! Do yourself a favor I love all things PR but bringing my family here just made me realize sometimes it’s best to speak the truth for others to not deal with the same headache 2hours for food that management forced us to pay for or else as he said due to us saying we would just pay for w.e is ready now so we could just leave and a combination of bad service let’s just say this place will never be recommended had little ones with us so didn’t want to cause a scene or put my family in any danger plus with kids who should have been in bed only to end up leaving without food we never got to touch they just packed our food and get out because they where also closing and couldn’t help how many people came in and how much food needed to be cooked thus the time frame it took again save yourself the headache I’m sure this won’t be at the top so hope it helps other families just trying to have a good vacation or eat in San Juan

We arrived at 6:10 pm and it was 7:12 pm when we asked for the bill and the food never arrived. The waiter even asked the kitchen if it would take two minutes and decided to delete the order. That says a lot about a place. I never recommend it

This place deserves to be shut down! This is the WORST place to eat in and no stars deserved. El gerente LeBron es muy mal educado. We waited 2 hours for our food and when asking to please speak with the manager to discuss this matter, his demeanor was arrogant with poor customer service skills.. Not even an apology given. After 2 hrs we were tired of waiting and asked to receive the bill for only the drinks we had, received and his response was that the food was already cooking and pretty much we had no choice but to continue waiting to pay for the food. Once we received some of the plates, the food was cold and incorrect or items missing. The waiter seemed to be scared when mentioning how they threw away the fries for one of the childrens plates and how this is a constant issue that happens daily with customers. We asked for the rest to go and not even utensils were provided. Just save yourselves the headache from eating at this restaurant. The food wasn't all that tasty either. This rude manager needs to understand and be grateful that it is us the tourist whom keep his business running and the nasty attitude of his is what will drive customers away.

Really bad experience, very slow service, waiting for food 1hr 30 min when asked for our order were told food still no ready. Arrived around 8:30pm and almost 10:30pm and still waiting for our food. The place closed at 11pm employess were started to clean the tables and we were still waiting for our food. Ask for manager Lebron who was very rude and treat us like trash didnt even apologize for the bad service. This "manager" gave me the impression that he is abusive to his employees and doesnt care or doesnt know anything about customer service. We are here in PR strained due to flights cancelations and decided to go with the family for a walk and dinner in San Juan and ended with this really bad experienced...👎

The service was incredible! Angela went above and beyond to ensure we were seated promptly and kept the kids entertained during our wait. Her kindness and accommodation made our experience exceptional. Highly recommend!

Ordered the same burger for my wife and I. Mine came raw in the center barely any guacamole, a tiny piece of bacon. Menu stated “burgers came with salad and fries “ when I approached my server she said “ the salad is lettuce and tomate” and no one asks for that. I’m like what? And had the nerve to charge me $1.25 for onion I still paid the bill just had them remove my burger since I didn’t get it re done and or are there. Not good place menu is outdated still showing menu items that are not there and can’t explain to tourist how their menu works leaving 1 star since there is no “0” star

The Kan Kan was good but the spicy crab tostones de pana and the mamposteao stole the show. Soooo good!

The food amazing, they specialized in food towers. We devoured ours down before I was able to get pictures. Everything was very flavorful! The customer service was good they kept checking on us to make sure we were good. The atmosphere was great, it was very crowded and if you go during peak season be prepared to wait a little even with a reservation. However, it was worth the wait! Make sure you call to make a reservation before going.

If you like pork, order the Kan Kan with Arroz Mamposteao 👌🏼

Not even half busy waited 40m for the food when it came out the fries were cold, the steak was so well done I couldn't cut it much less swallow it. When commented to the waitress she didn't apologized she just said well y'all already touched it, i wasn't looking for a redo or free meal. Just an apology and we didn't even get that.

Service and food were pretty average. The menu and atmosphere is like that of a typical franchised seafood location. The server was not exceptionally attentive. Not bad, but not great.

I waited 2 hours for my food and the mashed potatoes were cold and the food was terrible like how could you take 2 hours🤬🤬

I don’t usually write reviews but I have the time today. I am writing this as I am currently waiting for my food. I have been waiting for a little bit over an hour. The place is half empty. We only ordered one meal to share. Will not come back.

The food took over 45 minutes JUST for the appetizer and then 5 more till yhe meal. The drinks weren't the best. We ad pineapple and passion fruit juice. They are "natural" but taste like packaged juice. The server was good and thr atmosphere was good but it was also very cold but at least it's more refreshing then Puerto Ricos killing heat.

Excellent service, but they should improve the breast with Mofongo, the delicious Mofongo 😋 but the breast lacked flavor. Otherwise the dishes that were ordered were delicious 😃 the ribs with fries and cheese at another level and Mofongo with fried meat also delicious, be careful with serving the food cold Thank you. Good customer service and very cozy, the place just lacked good music. Thank you 😁😉 thank you outside of that excellent place.

I ordered some old clothing and it was salty and it took a long time to bring it.

The server was horrible, she had an attitude she came to our table once to take drinks and our orders. We asked for an “old fashion” we got whiskey on the rocks. We waiting 63 min before we received our food and 30 min for our drinks. When the food came out we asked for a Trifongo he looked as if they put the mofongo balls together very dry not put together.

***Avoid*** Horrible service, for not so good food. We got there at 8pm, sat down right away. About 15min later a server finally arrived. We ordered an appetizer and that took 45min. About 10min before that our drink finally arrived. After waiting for almost 2hrs for the food, I asked another server to cancel my order. She checked with the kitchen and came back to tell me it was being plated. On the nearly 2hrs stretch, the server didn’t check on the table once. When the food arrived, the appetizer plates were still on the table. The order not only took long, but was missing a plate, which arrived after everyone was done. Now about the food, I mean fried pork bland, grilled chicken bland, fries bland, mashed potatoes inedible, burger overcooked…Bottom line, do yourself a favor, avoid a headache, avoid this place!

I've never felt so powerless to a hamburger. I can only compare this experience to a man dying of thirst in a desert. This hamburger is my oasis. I can't stop myself, like an addict fiending for more. I am in hamburger heaven. The pulled carne, cheese, and veggies were purely divine. I cannot stop myself. I have indulged more than I can digest. If you have any appreciation for your taste buds and crave tasteful bliss; eat here. I have hiccups because my bites are too large for my esophagus.

2023. A lot of waiting between dishes, to the point that the apetaizer made me digest. Value for money, the dishes that you can find in other restaurants seem a little expensive to me and much cheaper. 2024. They have improved the waiting time, the kan kan chop is very tasty. I loved it this time

Service is very important and the server wasn't friendly. We all noticed she never smiled and looked and acted as if she was annoyed. Wasn't on top of our drinks refill either but the food was amazing. I did notice there was less mofongo than meat on my plate but I'm not complaining. Everything was delicious.

Service was extremely slow. Food didn't taste that good either. Lots of tables weren't cleaned after. In general I didn't like it.

When you get served at a steakhouse bacon bits (bacon substitute), instead of real bacon is when you realize that they don't care about the customers. Steak was bland, and half of it was very undercooked fat. Mamposteao rice was sticky and also bland. We were very disappointed.

This place was okay, the only thing would have been that the meat itself came out pretty cold and we there was no one there to be sat until 15 minutes later. I wouldn’t really recommend. Bathrooms were really clean & had AC but it is outdoor seating.

The mofongo needs to be crispier, that was basically a Dominican mangu. Service was ok once she started taking our orders ( took her like 15 mins to go to the table ). Atmosphere was nice, basically families having dinner. Some girls twerking at the bar ( tourists ) 🙄

They should make the meals better and not make last minute inventions... the meat I ordered I had to send to be cooked but they brought it almost raw

If I could give -10 stars for the service, I would, we came into this restaurant around 1 PM sat down, fairly quickly, ordered one appetizer, and waited close to an hour before we got it. We were on the verge of leaving when they finally brought us our food and the place was not busy at all. Not being from Puerto Rico or a Spanish-speaking individual I got the impression that we were not a priority as far as being served. This is also a place that gets heavy traffic from the cruises that come in and dock a block away. Once we got the food, we were very happy with the food, but again, the place was not busy, and the waiters just seemed like they were not very attentive to getting our food to us. if you have a lot of time to wait, this is a great place to go.

If you are looking for good meat, this is not it. We ordered the “Muu Burguer” which is supposedly the best burger you will ever eat… a Baconator from Wendy’s tastes a thousand times better. Both orders were ordered well done and the meat was still raw. The food took about 45 minutes or more. We paid an extra price to end up having a soft drink and being disappointed. At least the girl who served us was always kind when it came to serving us. Out of there, terrible food. It was my first visit and I won't go back.

Michelle was our waitress and it was one of the worst experiences, she threw the menu on the table so quickly that we didn't even have time to know who it was, we asked her a question and she answered us with attitude and without any effort to be our waitress, the service was so terrible. We left before they served us drinks... worst experience for Michelle, I won't be back.

Was nothing special; food was over cooked and extremely dry for pork I saw my waiter twice; once to order food and once for food to be delivered… I willing to order additional apps/drinks absolutely zero interest in serving us.

I expected a little more. Watery drink, very small kankan chop. It looked like a regular chop. Excellent service, the waitress very friendly and helpful.

They said vaca brava when it a male cow me thinking I was milking the cow but I was touching his balls and food was horrible change the name!

The waiter is terrible... Rushing the order... Or else he goes to another table, with an attitude, then we order, and the food arrived incomplete, and mom can't even eat because they never delivered her food, she ended up eating in the car. .

Really hate leaving bad reviews but I had to for this place. Avoid checking out this place, it is not great at all. I decided to take my bf here for his birthday dinner and our last dinner in PR. Seemed like all employees there do not value their customers. Our waiters name was Ivan and he definitely did a great job at making me hate everything about this place. He chose to be on his phone and talk to his coworkers instead of checking up on his tables. We asked for water and NEVER got them. He passed by us 10xs and did not bother to ask if we wanted to order our food. Tried hard to not let him ruin our dinner so we ended up staying. I asked for medium rare steak and gave me a steak that was pretty well cooked. My bf could see that there was food ready in the kitchen but we did not get it until about 10mins after they put it out. The food was gross and cold that we only had a few bites. When I asked for the check he did everything but to bring the check until he felt like it. Their expensive meals are not worth it and highly do not recommend this place.

Would have loved to try the food here but didn’t get the opportunity. My partner and I arrived at the restaurant and the host sat us down at 1:50pm as soon as we arrived. She gave us menus and we decided on what we wanted to eat. We waited 15 minutes at the table and no one came to serve us. A family came right after us and they got served before us. We ended up leaving and went somewhere else where the service was better. Not a great experience for a first time visit from out of town.

I don't know if they changed but the last time I went the chairs were very far from the table and they are hard and don't even have backrests, it took almost an hour and a half to bring the food and apart from us there were only two other tables and the one and one one of them was already going to leave, we ordered a tray that had several meats and we asked for it well done and when they brought it to us it was almost raw and there was even blood on it, it seemed like they had simply heated it up, we had to go somewhere else to eat and they didn't. I say that it is necessarily expensive but for the price it is not worth it, but as I said at the beginning that was a long time ago maybe they changed

Right down the street from the port, we were able to walk here. The food was good. I loved the sweet plantains. A little pricey but we didn't have to wait - we were seated immediately. Nice, roomy, comfy booth. Nice atmosphere. We wanted to try food and drinks that were common to the area and the waiter was able to suggest a good local beer and some different apps to try.

If you are looking for a $60 plate of fries, this is the place. It includes a small side of dry white chicken meat and a very overcooked steak. And a lot of fires if that's your thing. Bonus is that it took 90 minutes to get the food! Would absolutely not recommend.

It took them 15/20 just to give us any attention. I was asking one guy to help he walked off and never came back. He told us that it wasn’t any burger left. We seen at least 5 ppl get burgers. Also, I ordered mashed potatoes and we were done eating everything before I received the spoon to eat the mashed potatoes with. The fries was hard and crunchy. Beef empanadas is the only thing that was good about the place.

Don't waste your time coming to this Restaurant. If you want to eat delicious and authentic food, don't eat here. The service was literally the worst, we were at the table waiting 30 minutes before the girl who was going to serve us came, when we sat down they didn't give us the menu we had to ask for it twice, after the girl literally took the order we were at the table waiting For the meal it took 1 hour and a half and we didn't even ask for an appetizer so the order would come out quickly. At the end of so much waiting they brought us an undercook steak and an overcook pork chop. I don't recommend it at all, the worst place I've ever eaten in PR.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but there was nothing good about this place. 1)Slow service, including one meal arriving 15 minutes after the other 3 meals. 2) zero flavor. ZERO 3) The food was cold. 4) Very overpriced. Never coming back!!! Save yourself the pain and pass on this restaurant.

Terrible service waited almost 2 hours for the food . Decided to pay for the drinks we got then was harassed cuz we wanted to leave. Big bald guy with black shirt on! Ended up not getting all the food and very undercooked. Terrible

Good morning food and good service. It took a while to get our food but that's ok, we indulged in BACARDÍ drinks and beer. I had the mofongo with the camerones with creole sauce. Truly delicious. I was quite satisfied.

ONE star for the server because the rest was the worst experience we ever had. Food took 2 hrs. They have no idea on how to cook. The chair broke my son shirt because the nails were out of place, thank God it did not cut him, and they did not even apologize. The server came to tell us the kitchen was a mess and he did not know when we will get the food. Mofongo was with boil meet instead of fried, churrasco was terrible and everything was overpriced. We got plastic utensils because they didn't have someone to wash the dishes. Stay away from this awful place.

Worst dinner experience in a long time. Service was extremely slow and they did not bring us the food we ordered. I had to bring it back to the kitchen myself. When we threatened to leave, the waiter finally brought us our food, which was cold and mediocre.

We got the: Queso frito Mofongo with pork Monterey chicken - sweet plantains First off, most people know this but I don't eat Mexican/Latino food. I don't like the smell or the ingredients. However, being in Puerto Rico, I said I would try the local cuisine. I tried the mofongo with pork, while my wife got the Monterey chicken with sweet plantains. And, as we like to do with new places, we tried the fried cheese (queso frito). The fried cheese was different than any fried cheese we've ever had. No breading, and it was closer in consistency to cheese curds that have been fried. The sauce was NOT marinara, but rather a sweet sauce. Overall, it was different but good! My wife's food was ok, but the chicken was definitely "well done". Plantains were really sweet, like a fried banana. My food...... was different but good! The pork was fried and hard, and I didn't know how I felt about the mashed plantains in mine. They were definitely different. However, getting a bite of pork, plantain, and onion was delicious! I'm very glad I tired it, and even happier it turned out to be something I can eat. This place was good though. It wasn't a small, local eatery. It felt more commercial or touristy, but the servers were friendly, and the food came out quick and hot.

Food was not the best for the price. $55 for ribeye that was not cooked as asked.

Service is ok but food takes forever and it’s not that good. Most of the plates are missing a sauce.
