The BEST Mexican food in Huntsville greater area period and probably the best I have ever had anywhere. The al pastor is the thing to try here. The tortillas are scratch made and super good, the tortas are out of this world too. This place is run by a mother and daughter and they are lovely. I have been coming here regularly for years and will continue to come back. This place deserves more attention, please do yourself a favor and try it out.

8/24 Update: It has been awhile so I had to go hit up the new location. The giant burrito called to me! Still the same amazing food and great customer service as before. Everything tastes fresh and it's still one of the best burritos I've ever had. You know a place is good when you try a place for the first time on your lunch break and go back your next lunch break. The first time I went, I had a torta with the pastor meat. It's the first time I've had a torta and definitely won't be the last. This time I got the street tacos and this place, hands down, has some of the best street tacos I've ever had. All the meats are seasoned well, it's hard to pick a favorite! The prices are also really good for what you get. I also got the horchata and it was delicious. It's a little food truck in the parking lot of a marathon. Probably easy to overlook but don't! You have to try this place. There is also two (4? It's like two large picnic tables connected together) huge picnic tables with large umbrella's attacked for seating. The tables are clean and very nice. Update: I just had the best burrito of my life. Try the burrito! It's divine! (I got it with carnitas, but you can choose any meat.)

Found out about Valentina's last week and this has been my go-to spot for lunch the rest of the week. Burritos, tacos and torta all were great. Best Mexican food I've had since visiting Texas and California! Will be back for a 4th time.

This food is unbelievable. I had the steak burrito and cheese sauce. OMG. The burrito was huge, I couldn't even finish it but it was so good I ate as much as humanly possible 😋 🙌. It definitely lived up to the reviews. 20/10 would eat here again. The gas station itself is... interesting. Wish there was more parking.

A coworker and I got lunch here. Four tacos each and a cheese dip. The cheese dip was excellent with jalapeños diced finely into it and the chips were fresh. We each tried four different tacos and not one disappointed! The cochinita was my favorite. Service was friendly and fast. It may look like it’s not open if coming from the east but pull in to double check - it’s worth eating here!!

Excellent food truck, can't go wrong. Chips and queso very good (you get a LOT for $5). Tacos were the best. 11/10

Been there several times. Love the authentic cuisine. Lengua tacos are my favorite. Tender, juicy and beefy! Also order early because they sometimes run out. Also great selection of other proteins for tacos and burritos. Highly recommend!

I love this place. When I first moved to huntsville from birmingham I began searching for the best food truck. This is the best food truck, hands down. My wife and I eat here at least once a week, we normally get the barbacoa quesadilla. The lady who runs it is very friendly. 5 stars all around.

Valentina’s Kitchen is my favorite spot for street tacos in the entire city. My go-to choices are the Al Pastor, Cochinita, and Lengua tacos. Both the green and red sauces that are included are delicious. I prefer the corn tortilla, because it lets the sauce and meat shine, but the rest of my family prefers the flour tortilla, which adds additional substance and sweetness. The staff is always cheerful, and service is usually quick - unless a bunch of us taco lovers show up at the same time!

This is one of my favorite places to eat!!!! I love their food!!! Their al pastor tacos are incredibly good, I mean amazing!!! I also really like their roasted chicken tacos. Their customer service is impeccable too. They’re always sooo sweet and friendly. Tacos are literally my favorite food so I come here quite often and I’m always satisfied!

Definitely hands down the best tacos I have had!!!! I always get the tacos carnitas but have had other dishes but my favorite are the tacos carnitas. I can and have eaten there multiple times in a week. Whatever she is doing, I hope it never changes. For anyone wondering, definitely try it!

Best tacos and burritos in town! Especially the burritos: they are huge, the right balance of rice/beans/meat, and wrapped in cheese… I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. Gas station lot, on the corner of a busy intersection, is a lousy place to hang out and eat; everyone takes their food to-go. WORTH IT.

Best tacos I’ve ever had - SERIOUSLY Been at least 10 times

Absolutely the best burrito I’ve ever had! Food and service was excellent.

This is exactly what you want in a food truck: great food. Nothing fancy or pretentious. Just really perfectly cooked/seasoned food with unique little dipping sauces and ingredients that speak for themselves. Absolutely nothing fancy about the setup - there's not even a name on the trailer - but that was the first sign that the food was going to be good. This truck is located in the Marathon gas station parking lot and easy to overlook if you're not looking for it. We found it on google maps and still missed our turn. The found came out fairly quickly and it was enough for lunch and leftovers. Skip the overpriced chains nearby and pull in for a tank of gas and some tacos during your lunch break.

You must try Velentinas if you want or crave authentic cuisine. Several outdoor picnic tables available for customers. Located at a fuel station parking. Try the Al pastor tacos. Actually, it's all very good. On the corner, close to Kroger, Hwy 72. Big flavor in a small space.

Wonderful! This is the perfectly executed counterpoint to some other taco places in the area. Nothing fancy - it's not even a food truck, it's a food trailer. Just like that stripped-down image, the tacos are flavorful meat, onions, and cilantro on a tortilla - nothing else - which is exactly what a taco is supposed to be. And the tortillas are lightly charred so they have great flavor and texture without falling apart like a lot of corn tortillas. I tried the carnitas, al pastor, barbacoa, cochinita, and roasted chicken, and every one was superb. Great flavor, not too much fat, and the green sauce was fantastic. Don't be scared off by the location - these just may be the best tacos in Huntsville/Madison!

I drive up from Decatur because the tacos are so good. Steak quesadillas and burritos are amazing too. Highly recommend.

Best tacos in the South without a doubt! Valentine’s is a Huntsville hidden gem! Best tacos and quesadilla I’ve ever had. Minimalist menu because they know what they do well and know how to capitalize on it. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, was ready when we went to pick it up. Extremely affordable, very friendly, best meal I’ve had in Huntsville by far!

Very delicious Al Pastor burrito. Very delicious . Only thing is, you should bring a good amount of change eating here. I spent $23 on a burrito, chips/queso, & tamarind jurrito, (including a 15% tip) Price aside though, it was one heck of a delicious burrito and id definitely be back. Just a bit pricey.

Do yourself a favor and stop by there, you will not be disappointed!

Excellent!!! I visited Valentina’s based on a local FB page of recommendations, needless to say I wasn’t disappointed. The food was freshly cooked. I tried a variety of 3 street tacos, fajita chicken, steak and barbacoa. All excellent!!! Highly recommend. I will be visiting here often.

Take it from a NY’er. RUN DONT WALK This place is ligit. Joe is a great guy and the pizza is absolutely spot on. The dough, the cheese , the oven all would make Naples Italy proud. Thanks Joe for a memorable meal. Great job. I’d give you 6 stars if it was possible.
