Matt, our server, as well as most staff we encountered provided poor service with an attitude. We asked for more chips so our party of 4 could finish the guacamole we were having. After waiting longer than reasonable we got ourselves more chips. Matt brought a drink and was spilling some across my leg and new shoes and was oblivious. The culture, attitude, sucked. I suppose you have a captive audience. Disappointed! Also we watched Matt stick his finger in another table’s water to get a bug out and then served it. 🤮

The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Beautiful evening to sit outside and enjoy great food and comfortable weather. The shrimp enchiladas and Baja tacos were excellent!

Pretty incredible Mexican food for high up in the Rockies! The guacamole is mixed right in front of you at the table, and their ceviche was delicious! Very good but not quite sure the prices were justified, certainly on the higher side for Mexican cuisine l.

We hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for 50 with an additional welcome party of another 35 at Venga Venga in July 2024. The Venga Venga leadership of Sly and Gustavo were amazing. Their attention to our needs and ensuring our satisfaction was phenomenal. Along with Meg, who set up the event, their commitment to customer service went beyond expectations. As far as a venue (which was sight unseen when we booked it), the outdoor patio was exactly what we had hoped for. It provided a beautiful setting for the excellent dinner and then spilled over to the larger patio for the reception overlooking the Snowmass Valley. The quality of food, drinks and attention to service made for an excellent western themed evening under the stars. We loved the experience and would highly recommend this team for your event!

The service was ok. Very mediocre food for the price. Chips were soggy, and a lot of the dishes needed more salt. The server was also annoyed when I asked for a mocktail. The experience definitely doesn’t match the cost of the meal.

This Resturant is nightmare. 1. I called the restaurant requesting to arrange the cake for my 9 yrs old daughter birthday. When I talked to manager over the phone he said they don’t have cake and the manager okd for me to bring the cake from bakery house and celebrate there . But when I went there with cake . He told me he gonna charge me $25 for bringing the food from outside 2. We ordered 2 chicken fajitas and 1 steak fajitas , my son ordered chicken quesadilla, my daughter and my nephew ordered tacos . Steak smell rotten and guacamole smell very old . I told the waiter but seems like he do not care except the bill ($250) . When we were leaving my son threw up outside the restaurant I don’t recommend anyone to eat there . Its very unhealthy

The food was delicious, but the real star of our visit was our server, Viges. We have a son with celiac and other allergies and he was so understanding, talked to multiple people on staff to make sure we had a great experience. Would definitely return when we come back to the area and ask for him every time.

The staff seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people and some were a bit rude. Andres however was a superstar and took very good care of of us. Would definitely recommend the restaurant the atmosphere was just a little off.

Been here 3 times and have been underwhelmed each time, especially for the price point. Meat tends to be dry/ overcooked, rice is not good, service is not great. Patio has a great view and location is convenient- maybe just a good spot to grab a drink and sit outside without ordering food.

Just visited and had the burger - very tasty! Nick was our bartender and he was awesome! Gave us the rundown of things happening around town and made our visit! Go there to see him!

The table side guacamole was good. The rest of the food I ate was not seasoned at all. Fries, fajitas, salad, chips, all of it was bland. The waiter also forgot an order at our table. The food took a long time to get to us.

What a great place! The food was great, the night we went it was really busy but it’s hard to beat the good food. We did get some mess up’s with our food and the manager was on top of it. He’s a great dude. It was so great we came back the next night! We are from Denver so we’ll be back soon.

Been coming here for years and it’s a shame to see how far down (Fannie) hill this place has gone. I have no idea who Chef Richard Sandoval is - but he definitely knows a thing or two about steak that tastes like dog meat. Dark and dingy with a staff that appears to want to be anywhere but at work. $25 burrito. No gracias amigo.

Carna Asada fries were very good. Chicken tortilla soup is bland; like they mixed taco seasoning into a tomato bisque. Waited so long for chips that we just didn't eat the guac we ordered. Stuck just sitting there waiting for a bill so long I considered when I had a right to just leave. Lighting uneven thought the dinning room, very bright on one side dime on the other and static throught the evening. I'm not from Aspen but there must be better places to spend your time and money.

Horribleeeeeeee!! Takes forever to get water, then 20min later to just order drinks, then 20 for food order, comes out almost an hour later. Rice taste like its made from frozen in a microwave. Drinks are watered. Took 30min to get our check. I mean its the only “mexican” spot in the area, so it is what it is.

We had a dinner here and all we ordered was delicious and super fast service. Great ootdoor seating too 😀 The queso fundido was delicious!

Great place to go right off of Snowmass jump out of your skis and jump into some good food and drinks.

One of the most memorable nights of our stay in Snowmass was when we dined at Venga Venga. The moment I took a bite of the Queso Fundido, my taste buds exploded with joy - it was absolutely divine. And don't even get me started on the La Pastor Tacos, they were a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. If you're considering making reservations at Venga Venga for your upcoming trip to Aspen or Snowmass, don't think twice - just do it. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The drinks were equally as fantastic, truly enhancing the overall dining experience. Trust me, you won't regret indulging in their incredible menu.

Really awful Mexican food for a whole lot of money. The cocktails are awful, go with beer instead. It's also cramped and loud. The nachos were a war crime.

The flavor of the food here was good, but our meals were brought out barely luke warm. They were literally cold within 2 minutes, like the cheese in the enchiladas was solid. If the dishes were served hot, I would have given them 5 stars.

Sat outside with family for nachos and diet coke. One of the cokes was knocked over accidentally..the server Morgan picked the cup up, glared at us and didn't offer to bring another one (which we'd have paid for!). In fact he never came back. We had to ask another server for the bill and were told off rudely for doing so. Nachos were average, service was terrible but the location is great.

Restrooms need to be fix! Buyers on the walls, stalls empty of toilet paper, cabinet doors missing, toilet seats broken. Men's restroom has an exposed outlet above the sink! Not cool! Health and building inspectors should make a visit. Margs are good though!

Always a great place to eat while visiting Snowmass. The quacamole is incredible and so are the shrimp and steak fajitas.. The staff is so friendly (front desk and reservations) and the service is amazing.

Burrito was not very good and DEFINITELY not worth $24 as that price doesn't include any sides or anything. You can get more bang for your buck with other entrees. Waitress brought the chips and salsa we ordered as a starter at the same time the entrees came out.

The best spot in Snowmass for lunch or aprés! Nothing beats the Venga Venga patio with some fresh guacamole and a marg. If you are skiing Snowmass highly recommend making a stop!

Went for dinner on recent visit. If you want anything close to decent Mexican food, let's put it this way -- how many Mexican restaurants do you know of that put french fries in their burritos? "Tableside Guac" was a bowl with premeasured pico and lime juice that they simply put two avocados in and mashed around. The steak in the steak tacos was extremely tough. The chicken fajitas had an "unconventional" flavor. The chicken enhiladas were average. Rice and beans basic, beans were pasty. Margaritas had unusual aftertaste. Would not not back.

Been coming here for years. 2nd time on our trip server Adam was rude and questioned a 20% tip. Probably shouldn’t work in the service industry

I ate at Venga Venga while I was in Snowmass on December 26, 2023. The food was decent, and if I was rating them on food alone, I would give them 3 stars (maybe 4). However, if you eat at Venga Venga, make sure you keep copies of your receipts. I left a standard percentage tip when I paid, but was surprised later when the tip was larger than I had originally written on my ticket slip. This is because the server added more to my tip amount (I guess he was hoping I wouldn't notice?). In any event, I noticed this when I got back home, and so I called Venga Venga on January 2, 2024 and spoke to a "manager" who said his name was "Jake." Jake told me it must have been a mistake, and that he would reimburse the entire tip to me. I told him that I didn't want the whole tip back, but I would appreciate having the "extra" amount that was added on given back to me. Jake said he would take care of it and I should see it in the next few days. It is now February 27, 2024 and I have never received anything from Venga Venga. So, is the food decent? Sure, it's fine. But keep an eye on your receipts.

A good option in Snowmass for a full service meal. Reservations are recommended. Servers seem preoccupied by larger parties and tables ordering more “drinks”. Our party of four with two kids waited a bit for non-alcoholic drink refills and dessert for the kids.

The most amazingly marinated meat!!! We will definitely eat here more than once this vacation. We ordered the fajita platter for 5 to go and it was a ton of food with a ton of left over tortillas and salsa we will use during the rest of our vacation!! I’m super satisfied.

Came here in 2019 and back again in 2024 - service was still excellent, atmosphere and vibes were immaculate. Shout out to our server Rahul who helped my large party in the outdoor seating - solid employee!

When researching restaurants around Aspen and Snowmass Venga Venga kept coming up, we made a reservation. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us a hour before our reservation, reflected in the three star score for service. Our waitress was either extremely busy or just naturally inattentive. We saw her maybe three times, we ordered the happy hour nachos, pretty good, nothing to write home about. For our entree we ordered cheese enchiladas and pork carnitas, we’re from central Texas so perhaps we have higher expectations for Mexican food. The enchiladas were extremely bland, the rice was good but tasted like standard Mexican rice, nothing special. We did enjoy the churros, they were filled with a delicious sauce. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant due to lack of flavor and relatively poor service. The food runners and busers were excellent, I just didn’t feel the server provided top tier service. The environment was extremely loud, we sat inside and outside there was loud music and partying. It made it hard to enjoy our sit down meal.

$24 for a little Cali burrito just a burrito and no rice and beans !!! Biggest waste of money . Don't go here. Much better options in Snowmass.

The restaurant promotes it self as a place where you can go to have drinks, food and fun. What they don’t tell you when you sit down is that you will be kicked out of the restaurant after 1 hour. They will ask you to leave even though the restaurant is empty by 6:00 pm. Their excuse is that they have reserved the entire restaurant. How is this possible if we see people coming in as walk-in’s and the restaurant have many tables open. In regards to the food, the only two good things is the guacamole and carnitas. But they are overpriced for the quantity. The rest of the food and drinks is mediocre. If you are looking for a fun place to drink in Snowmass I would recommend going to Limelight lounge or even the bowling alley.

Went as a couple… wanted to have a few drinks, some food and watch football. They were trying to push us out after and hour. Management has a rule where they try and get you in and out as quick as possible. Not relaxing. Would not recommend if you’re trying to enjoy your time

On the slopes, ok for a fun drink for a happy hour. Spoiled by the surly attitude from the waitress at the front desk. She showed us to the table and when we asked to upgrade from 2 to 5 people( place was not even 1/3 full) we got a full drama download. Not her problem, we said wrong number blah blah. Sure people have an off day, and yes we asked to change the table, but it was so rude and non service centric it was actually funny to listen to. Decent enough margarita and nachos. With so many places in town with great service, drinks and food - go here with low expectations.

We eat out regularly and I have never been told to get out of a restaurant to make room for another reservation, even more insane considering we are pretty fast in and out typically and were at this restaurant for less than a hour by the time we paid our check. Good food but unfortunately there's plenty of great places to eat that aren't going to tell you to get out while you're still finishing your meal.

Oh boy where do I start. Rahul was the man the myth the legend he didn’t skip a beat. When u had an empty glass or bottle he would ask if I needed refill or another beer with the up most respect. Food was good for the price and the drinks were amazing. However has the end came closer the house wives behind our table ordered a ski shots.( shots served on a ski) and you know who was the man behind the ski shot……… YES U GUES RIGHT IT WAS RAHAL. We had to order one. With expert precision Rahul lined up the shots. Oh man I can’t wait to see him again.

Tacos are the best in town. Plus I heard great bands play here ,like Warsaw Poland Brothers. Tomorrow.

While the food was good, the lead server's, (Liliano according to the reciept), service was deploreable. He did not acknowledge our presence after we were seated, as he passed by our hightop at least ten times. When I got his attention to ask who our server was,m he acted very annoyed, & said he would get to us. While we were waiting, We went & got our own water. Liliano took the orders of at least 2 other tables that were seated after ours. We had to ask him again to take our order, before he finally did. Requests for extra salsa, tortillias, or chips, had to be asked for twice. We had to refill our water glasses by ourselves. The food was good, butI only left $1 for a tip, the service was so bad

Was told our wait would be less than 1 hour. Waited in the cold on our sons birthday in the village. When we did not hear back from the restaurant, we came inside to ask if we were close to getting a table, and they then said it would be another 2 hours before they would have one available! Refused to let us wait inside at the bar. Worst customer service we have ever seen.

The menu seems more limited now than I remember from years past, but the food is still unbelievably good. Strongly recommend you make reservations if you intend to visit during a busy season.

This is our go to spot when we’re snowboarding at Snowmass! Love the prickly pear margaritas! Everything we try is fantastic and service is always friendly.

We stopped by Venga Venga for late night drinks out on the large deck during our Snowmass vacation. It was a lovely way to spend time looking out towards the mountains and the ski runs that will come to life in the winter. It's worth stopping by for a drink (we didn't have any food so I can't comment on that).

We ordered two meals, and had two margaritas. First, the meals were mediocre - at best. My wife has some allergies and ordered the shrimp fajitas. The dish she got was almost like steamed shrimp and vegetables. No flavor. Yuck. We often order fajitas because it is fairly easy to make with her allergies. But it was just like they steamed everything. I ordered pork carnitas, which were sort of dry and not that great in taste either. The meat was also a bit tough. I order these quite often, and these were some of the worst that I have had. The margs were amazing in that I was not sure it was possible to make a marg with so little alcohol. I am a real lightweight - normally I split one with my wife and I get a slight buzz, but we had two between us and neither of us thought there was any alcohol at all in them. This costs over $100 with tip. We live in the front range of Colorado, so know that Colorado is not cheap. But this much money for terrible food and drinks... Will not go back here again.

We went to happy hour. Limited drink and food options. Portions small for sharing. Drinks were good. Ran up a bill buying multiple entries to share not on the happy hour. Server was attentive and the food came out quick.

This place used to be decent, and now it is absolutely horrendous. We ate there this evening and I would struggle to feed the steak which we were served to my dog. The one thing it used to have going for it was the cozy outdoor lounge chairs and they got rid of that. Please God someone buyout this restaurant and re-concept it. Good Mexican food just isn’t that hard to do right.

No server came to get our order, so we went to fetch wine from the bar. If Cheech and Chong make another movie, they need to get this guy in the show. The last time I saw someone this stoned on the job was 1975.

There's a lot to love here, but I have to start off with mad props to the staff, first with the lady at the front desk graciously working with our request for a table with a view, then our server, Rahul, just being an absolute gem, always stopping by with a smile and a joke. The view from the balcony also deserves its own shout-out. With fluttering leaves and yellow fading light in the warm days, and skiers in the colder ones, there's always something to see. Food -wise, I have two specific dishes to highlight. The first was the guacamole, which absolutely did not skimp on the lime juice like so many places do. The second was the churros for dessert, and I don't think I'm exaggerating to say those were the most decadent, legendary churros I have ever tasted. I will be chasing that high again for a long, long time.

Mexican restaurant - Great place to have a couple of cocktails and snacks. They serve huge portions and high quality food! We ordered ceviche and fries with cheese sauce. Also if you order some alcohol, you will get tortilla chips without the order! It's like Japanese otooshi. - you can take gondola for free from 9am to 9pm!

Food was delicious. I have nothing bad to say about that. The service was not great. Matt was our server. We had to ask another server for drink refills because Matt disappeared for over 25 minutes. The restaurant was not that busy. We arrived right at noon when they opened. Some of the drinks we asked for never did arrive. Also no ice with water even after we asked for ice. No napkins or silverware for our appetizers. They automatically add 20% gratuity but the service doesn’t deserve 20% if Matt is your server.

All the food is good. Your server or bartender can make or break your experience. The Atmosphere is great, live bands and celebrations are always a blast on the outside porch. For the best margarita, if you like spicy, combine the spicy with the Cadillac, and ask for Gainesville Eric!

Spectacular views. Service was totally overwhelmed, understaffed beyond what could be considered reasonable, as the restaurant was nowhere near full. The food was very below average.

We go to Snowmass every year and always eat at Venga Venga a couple of times while we are there. The food is delicious and the drinks are great. Sitting on the balcony on a sunny cool day watching the skiers is a treat! I do want to warn you though that they charge an 18% gratuity on all bills, which is fine but then they also leave a tip line on the credit card receipt. I was with friends who did not realize the tip was included and tiped 10% on top. When I pointed that out they said that was missrepresented and they would not come back.

Ate here a couple years ago, was fantastic. Will be back up that way fir work again and will be bringing all my business associates. Fantastic place

The food is terrible, the presentation is terrible, even the margaritas came with an old slice of lime. They definitely don't care for quality. A simple quesadilla came soaked in oil. One of the worst Mexican restaurants I tried in my life.

Sat on the patio and enjoyed live local music. The Margaritas were made with homemade sweet & sour giving them a very fresh flavor. The nachos and chicken burritos were favorites at our table. Smaller portions than we anticipated but thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered.

Watch out - they charge 20% gratuity automatically (even for small groups) and still include a tip line. I ended up tipping ~50% of the tip because of it. Deceptive business practices.

Venga Venga is a very good Mexican restaurant located right at the start of the Snowmass Mall. It has been a great spot to stop by after a long afternoon hike while most other restaurants within the mall are still closed. The service each time we visited was outstanding.

Wait inside was 45 minutes, outside didn't have a wait. We chose outside which we found out later had smaller portions for the same price but was not shared when we decided to eat outside. First server was rude that one of our party was coming in 5 minutes late. Food quality was good but was not the same portion as eating inside. At the end of it all we had to ask our second server twice for our bill. In the past the food and service has been good regardless of sitting inside or outside.

This place is the best place I’ve ever eaten!!!! I’m a recent special operations command amputee, I came here for the disabled veterans program! Not to brag but I met Pam from the office!!!! This place is amazing! And most of all, Brooke the manager has made me feel so comfortable eating here( I came here 3 days in a row from having so much fun)! Thanks guys!

Would maybe go for an Après ski margarita on the patio as its usually the only spot in the sun, has fire heaters and a dj but came for dinner and was a bit underwhelmed. Food was expensive and just okay.

This restaurant is so good and the food is worth the wait, if you are with a group and want to hang out and visit, have a few drinks then the vibe is great, if you are hungry and tired then you might want to go somewhere else, we have been twice and both times it took 10 or more minutes for a waiter to greet us and even longer to get drinks etc. There were several hostess standing up front who could maybe get the table drinks and chips. Definitely worth trying if you are in town though.

Service was great. Baja (mahi mahi) tacos were disappointing. Came as ordered, w/o avocado, but were made with lettuce instead of cabbage slaw. Who does that? Never had fish tacos w/o cabbage. Would visit again but try something else.

Food was very good. We were excited though to get margaritas but were disappointed with them, they didnt taste very good. Also two at our table asked for a brand liquor and their drinks ended up costing them $22 each which we thought was way overpriced, as the drink was $12 or $14 so I cant see why it ended up being $22 then. Also we reserved a table for 10, which was 3 couples and 4 single people. We requested to have the checks separated but the server said no way he could do that. Most places do that now a days so that was tough, especially when not everyone carries cash. I had to manually add up and itemize all our items and collect money then so that was an extra chore. I know most places do separate them so not sure why they could not do that for us. But everyone said they all enjoyed their food and the atmosphere was good. It also looked like a good pace for happy hour or after ski party on the deck, as when we skied by it was very crowded and they had music playing. They are located in the upper village and right by the ski in and out area.

The location and views are great. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food on the other hand was a let down. The tortillas were soggy and broke apart. The enchiladas were like rolled up tacos with bland sauce. The margaritas were too sweet.

Service was good, food was very poor. I have eaten here several times in the past and I won’t eat there again. I met my daughter there after skiing . Had a beer at the bar, service was good and beer cold. Price for beer was fair. Took a table when daughter arrived, looking forward to shrimp enchiladas which we had eaten in the past and was excellent. Server stated it was no longer on the menu as well as a number of other popular items. We ordered fajitas and they were below mediocre. We had heard this was a fun place to hang out, but the service left our party of six very disappointed. We arrived 15 mins early for our reservation and asked if we could grab a happy hour drink at the bar. The hostess said our table would be ready in time to have a happy hour drink at the table so we waited just to have our waiter tell us that happy hour was over when we tried to order. It actually wasn’t yet over, but he seemed put off that we even asked. That set the stage for the rest of our experience. Our waiter (Facundo) barely checked on us the rest of our stay. The food was pretty ok and the margs not bad. But, be forewarned that there is no warning either written or verbal that they add 20% gratuity to your bill. We didn’t notice so we got to pay 40% to possibly the worst waiter we’ve had. They also trick you by still adding the suggested gratuity guide to the bottom of the bill. I’d have a drink here for happy hour and then head somewhere else for food.

Good fresh tasty mexican. Staff friendly, food great, drinks tasty. If you are looking for a place to go for dinner in snowmass village, this has to be on your list. Went with wife and two teenagers, and all loved it.

Even when they're super busy during happy hour everything is delicious and the staff super friendly.
