Creative and delicious thin crust with a really nice wine. Evening on the patio overlooking the river as the sun sets. Watching friends of other patrons say hello as they walk run and ride by on Centennial Trail. Perfect feel-good meal.

The moment you step into the restaurant, your mouth immediately begins to salvate from the smells coming from the kitchen. I love the eclectic atmosphere of pizza by the slice, to the plants, to the view as you walk further onto the restaurant. They have the nicest staff that are so accommodating. We ordered the PB& J and the Pepe Sal and the quatro Fromagio bread to start. Everything was fantastic and we had plenty of leftovers. One of the best pizza places in town.

If you want to order anything carry out, you have to do it with more than a half hour in advance before they close as they will turn your business away. Why have a specific closing time if you’re going to be closed to customers well before that?

Versalia Pizza is one of my top favorites. The pizza is thin crust brick oven pizza. They offer pizza by the slice, however, one slice is a quarter of the pizza. The patio is one of my favorite patios of Spokane, as it overlooks the river and downtown. Located right on the Centennial trail. Parking on the street is free, and the paid lot is free after 5pm. I usually find a free spot no matter what time of day I go. Great and friendly staff. A decent selection of beer.

Really enjoyed this place. Family friendly. Pizza great. Sause was very tasty. My wife had Brussel Sprouts on hers. Something for everyone. Solid local beer selection. Very solid choice.

Went last night for my birthday. Food was good, but service was absolutely terrible. Will likely not eat here again because of the garbage service.

This is literally one of the best pizzerias in Spokane. They offer unique flavor combinations, and the pizza dough is exceptional—thin, crispy, and smells amazing. I visited on a hot summer day and enjoyed a peaceful waterfront view with no crowds. The service was top-notch, the pizza was delicious, and the salad was fresh. What more could I ask for?

Food was mediocre and saw my server maybe 2 times the entire duration of our stay. The wait was 45 minutes and was beyond not worth it. Saw people not getting server or water for 5+ minutes and actually never got water.

Excellent wood fired pizza! There are plenty of options to choose from for whole pizzas and they also offer their most popular ones by the slice which is 1/4 of the pizza.

got a vegetarian pizza and a chicken pesto. the vegetarian pizza was actually better. not saying the chicken pesto wasn't awesome but the red sauce pizza was one of the best we have had

Pepe Sal pizza with the spicy sauce was absolutely delicious! This place was recommended by Grace at the shoe store a few doors down and it didn’t disappoint! Great beer and wine selection as well and a nice outdoor patio area.

We went here after a place closer to our hotel was closed. Spokane always has a gritty feel and this neighborhood was a nice surprise. Very upscale, young & urban. Beer, wine, pizza and service were all very good. Pizza is thin, wood fired, with fresh ingredients. It was a little too cool for the deck, and we sat at a counter looking over the river greenspace and bike path. A nice view. A little pricy, but the quality is worth it.

I ordered from them on Uber around 10/11am ish. They waited until 4:45 to cancel my order it was due at 5:15. They should have given me more time to make other plans! I don't see where I can add a review on Uber, but thank you for explaining.

My favorite pizza place! I love the sausage arugula pizza but all of their pizzas are delicious. They're definitely a bit more spendy than some chain pizza restaurants but you're paying for the quality!

Amazing food, but the prices were a bit steep. About $27 for one pizza- but it is so worth it.

The staff readily modified a salad to meet the needs of our 88 year old Grandmother. The thin pizza crust was crisp and complimented the spicy sauce on our pizza. Service was attentive, accommodating, and friendly.

This place is incredible. Try the Pepe Sel by the slice, and the Brussejs & Bacon looks for real too.

We took out pizza because we had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. Garlic bread was crazy garlic(raw) taste so we couldn’t eat them all. It’s fun time while waiting for pizza.

I ordered takeout, and the pizza was delicious. And I ordered a side of ranch, and it was perfect dipping sauce. I wish I had time to visit the restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere and all that the restaurant had to offer. Next time I am in town, I will be sure to visit the actual restaurant.

Very good, expect a lengthy wait in the weekends.

The pizza was top notch...however I forgot my credit card.. had to go back the next day to retrieve..glad they eventually found it..my complaint is that restaurants should not take your card to a back room and process...be nice to have your server read your card in front of you...and lastly when u pick up your card the next day don't act like your a bar and that it's all my fault..kinda stuck up staff...or maybe all servers whom i trust my bank account with are like that..?? .

Love their za, breaks my heart… but running out of cheese on a Sunday night at 7:30pm when you close at 9pm is kinda wild. Sorry y’all, I’ll find another great place :)

I’ve been to Versalia a few times and it has exceeded expectations with every visit. The pizzas are delicious and freshly made. I tried the Gorgonzola salad and it was tasty. The servers have always been friendly and professional. I look for excuses to return to Versalia and have no reservations in recommending it to others.

I ordered 2 take out pizzas. Both were excellent! Very nice staff! The order was ready when I was told it would be. My car smells like the best Italian restaurant in WA! I don't go out much, but today Versailles Pizza, Kendall Yards, made me reconsider whether I should do more exploring. Thank you!

Casual and simple. Nothing not to like.

I was recently released from Airway Heights Corrections Center after serving 33 months (for mostly white-collar, corporate crimes). The day I got out, my buddy Jim-Bob (real name James Robert V) picked me up. I told Jim-Bob that I was craving some good pizza. I asked Jim-Bob if there was a Chuck-E-Cheese nearby as I knew they had great pizza, plus they had some fun games to play. Jim-Bob said that he was on parole and wasn’t allowed within 500 feet of any Chuck-E-Cheese due to having a “disagreement” with the manager (Jim-Bob is also banned from Canada, Singapore and Greenland). Jim-Bob recommended a place called Versalia. He told me that in Italian, “Versalia” means “the best pizza in Spokane”. Jim-Bob is the smartest guy I know (He took two classes at community college. He flunked them both, but still…he went to college) so I believed him. When we arrived at Versalia, I was blown away. The staff were so friendly and welcoming (I’m used to grumpy corrections officers). The toilets were clean and all had toilet seats. I ordered a large Pepe Sal pizza. I literally ate the whole thing. It was the best pizza I’ve ever had! While at Airway Heights Corrections Center, we had “Pizza Night” twice a month. However, the pizza consisted of white bread with ketchup on it with a dab of cheese. It wasn’t bad, but not the best. I highly recommend Versalia. I can’t wait to go back again! I heard they have a Liberty Lake location. I look forward to going there, once my probation officer says I can travel more than 5 miles from my house.

Best pizza in Spokane hands down. Crust is flavorful and has the perfect amount of crisp from the wood fired oven. Great sauce and toppings! Restaurant looks over downtown and the Spokane River. Located in Kendall Yards which just has a great vibe.

Ordered a basic cheese pizza was a little too much sauce in the middle making the first few bites overwhelmingly saucy. The pizza had good flavor but was extremely floppy and very greasy. Was a decent pizza but with other independently owned options close by I personally wouldn't choose here over the others.

This place had me wishing that I lived in the area. Amazing south facing view over the river. Great thin crust pizza. Even better wood fired brownie with ice cream and walnuts for dessert. I will be back!

Update: They gave me a.gift card to come back and try again. Went and had pizza it was fantastic and they were way better with service. Thank you!! Terrible service. Went there for lunch the hostess that sat us was super awesome and nice. Waiter came put waters on table walked off not one word. Then as we waited someone else was seated within seconds they had water, minutes later drinks and minutes after that placing a order. We never saw our waiter again until we got up and started to leave. Then he just shrugged shoulders.

I am on this quest to visit all the pizza places in Spokane. I would say the food here is average. The service and staff are spectacular though.

Amazing dining experience here! LOVE that they offer pizza by the slice ! Open kitchen concept as you walk in and pizzas on display! The Mediterranean salad was a 10/10! The 3 cheese pizza was a 10/10!!! The cheese was crisped from the brick oven, yum!! Definitely recommend eating here. Service competent and good!! Lovely patio dining with the autumn foliage in the background! Great lunch for reasonable prices. Slice of pizza and a salad just $15 bucks !! Don’t walk, run here! 🍕

This has historically been one of our favorite local pizza places, but we came here with guests this past weekend and sadly it seemed to have gone downhill. There was a much larger ring of crust and the pizzas didn't seem as flavorful as in the past even though we ordered a flavor we've had before. It was really disappointing. For the price the toppings should have better covered the crust. The antipasto however was excellent.

Google keeps bugging me for a review, so here it goes. I only ordered the cheese sticks thing on GrubHub or something. It was gross and underwhelming, but I think that's mostly due to the delivery and that I ordered way late. I should try this place again because Google kept harassing me, and if I leave a review I want to be informed.

We have been going to the Liberty Lake location for a while and love it! Stopped in the Kendall Yard store for a slice and it was awesome. TRY THE OKTOBERFEST PIZZA!!! So good. Ran into the owner and he shared the passion he and his family has for the pizza and the Spokane community. It shows in the consistency and quality. Support great businesses like this please!

We had Versalia at our wedding, and they were amazing!

Totally bizarre experience here today. Walked in to find a host of slices displayed. Tried to order one, but the person behind the counter insisted that I had to be seated first before I could order anything to eat there. Not really sure why, but after saying ‘I just want a slice’, she insisted I sit down. So I did. Then I couldn’t see what my options were, and I waited and waited. Finally I just got up and left. Didn’t get any pizza, so can’t comment on whether it’s any good or not!

Heard really good things about this place. However, my visit was not very ideal. It turned out that I had to wait 50+ minutes for slices of warm/cold pizza. Kinda sad

We were seated promptly outside which was wonderful considering the farmers market… however our sever came to take our drink orders and never came back. We waited for 40 minutes and nothing while everyone else around us was getting food drinks and service. Our server never made eye contact even on my multiple attempts to get their attention. Was really looking forward to the pizza as it looked so good, but we ultimately had to walk out because we were so hungry! On our way out, I expected the host to say something but nothing. Really think they had some service issues but that’s no reason to leave to very willing paying customers hanging!

Love that they have gluten free crust! Haven't found a decent gluten free pizza in Spokane until now! On the small side ( about half the size of a regular gluten pizza) but still worth it for texture and flavor. Glad Spokane is expanding into more gluten friendly foods.

Pizza is wood-fired in a traditional stone oven. Crust is thin and crispy. Marinara sauce is perfectly balanced, slightly sweet, and freshly made. Awesome selection of vegetarian and vegan pizzas! Atmosphere and views are amazing! Worth the trip; worth the wait.

Me and my wife absolutely loved our first time here! Our server, Brendan, was super attentive and welcoming. My wife has some food allergies and brendan was super considerate and went the extra mile to ensure she enjoyed her meal and experience. Can’t wait to bring the whole family back!

In town on a work trip... I sat outside by the river and ordered individual slices because I wanted to try each kind. The service was good, the food was GREAT!

Just wonderful thin crust pizza. The monthly special had slices of peaches, bacon, and Gorgonzola. I also had a slice of the Green Blossom. Both wonderful flavor without being too rich. Looks high up over the river in an areas called Kendall Yards. Newer area with lots of charm.

Visited on recommendation from yelo and Google reviews. Really glad we visited. A laid back and relaxed experience with great beer and delicious pizza from an authentic wood fired oven. Pizzas were amazing, neopolitan style and the flavor combos were fantastic. Definitely one to visit and experience on your trip to Spokane. Kendall Yards neighborhood is a neat place too.

**Update - To the Owners: WOW! I have never seen such an unprofessional response to a Google review. Lol To be more specific, the waitress was beyond unattentive. She didn't once come to check on or refill our water. Even when trying to wave her down SEVERAL times, we couldn't get her to so much as glance at us. (And yes, we've all had off days. I'm merely writing a review based on my experience. It's literally what this forum is about.) The vodka itself gave me a headache before I even made it home. Regardless of your "overhead" excuse, it is clearly the bottom of bottom shelf. I know dive bars that serve better cocktails. You insinuate I should have left my email address in a public Google review... Seriously? Your response explains all I need to know. I hope this was specific enough for you. If not, I'll be waiting for your next angry response full of snide and laughable remarks. The waitress was awful. The drinks were extremely overpriced, especially for well vodka. The pizza was good, although one part had literally nothing (sauce or toppings) on it. Not what it used to be and won't be going back anymore.

We stopped in on our way to Shambhala and the server was fantastic! The food was perfect! Thin crispy crust on the pizza (Pepe Sal and Green Blossom were delish) and the Caprese was spot on!!

5's all around for this place. A group of 9 of us showed up and they had us seated fairly quickly. Our server was very accommodating and helped us to make sure we got what we wanted, including the kids with dietary restrictions. My daughter was impressed with the vegetarian options. The pizza, salads, and beer were all fantastic. Will definitely come back here next time we're in town.

I eat at the one in Liberty Lake all the time. I stopped her to bring to my parents house. Same excellent quality and staff are so friendly.

Stopped in for a slice, chose the Pepe Sal; absolute perfection. Delightful thin crust, spicy red sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, provolone, cheese blend. Great staff, friendly welcome, comfortable outdoor seating. Tried their homemade lemonade, just the right amount of tart and sweet. Perfect for a hot afternoon.

Food was great! Was in town from north Carolina visiting Frank's Boot Company and the owners, Frank and Michelle, took us out to eat here. Pizza was amazing! Customer service was great! Highly recommend

We sat in the dining room and it has an okay atmosphere. There is a good selection of beer on tap and wine. We started with a few appetizers,,, the Caprese Plate and Antipasto platter. Both were delicious and full of fresh items. We shared Caesar and Mediterranean salads. Both were good but the Caesar needed more dressing. Their artisan style pizzas are really good. The brick oven bake on them is fantastic. My personal favorites are the Pepe Sal and the Prosciutto Arugula. 👌🏻 No room for dessert after all that. We left feeling completely satisfied and happy.

I was in Spokane for my grandsons baseball tournament and went to meet a friend afterwards. I had my mini goldendoodle with me so I needed to find a dog friendly place. She suggested Versalia at Kendall Yards. They have a nice covered patio that allows furry friends. To Access patio with dog you need to take the path along the river. Walk up the steps. We were seated, it was busy but we got the last table. Waiter took our drink order before he brought us menus. He did bring my dog and cool bowl of water. We shared a pizza, which was good but needed more seasoning. Beer and wine were good! Nice atmosphere along the river and we were treated to a th Dee storm. Overall nice visit and happy they could accommodate my dog.

We got a half pepe Sal & half fresh mushroom. The pepe Sal was very good but I didn't sense any hot sensation until I drowned it in crushed red peppers. I prefer their thin crust style vs traditional or thick crust. I got a house made lemonade which was very tasty & my wife enjoyed a cider. I'm glad we split the gorgonzola/apple salad, it was worth going again. I had $70 cash & that was just enough with a 20% tip. The only "downsides" were there was about a 10 minute wait. Of course we went on a Friday night in late May so what do you expect. And it was a wee bit chilly inside for my wife. Which is odd because for a couple years she's been the hot one (hint, she's over 50). Will we return - maybe. We don't make it to downtown Spokane often, but when we do we like to eat at different places. If I still worked by Kendall Yards, we'd surely go again.

A very fine pizzeria. Great view of the Spokane River with their outside seating area. Staff was very friendly. I'm not a big pizza van. We went there for my granddaughters graduation. She had just graduated from Whitworth University and this is where she wanted to go.

Die Pizzeria besticht mit leckeren, gut belegten Pizzas und einer tollen Lage. Die Pasta ist gut, aber nicht überragend. Einzig die Servierform im „Alunapf“ lässt zu Wünschen übrig. Mit dem Service waren wir nur bedingt zufrieden. Das Essen dauere fast 1h von der Bestellung bis zur Servierung und im Win war etwas Korken.
