Good Indian food. Need to take care of cleanness

I used to love going here! I can't believe they closed it, viceroy you will be missed! There is a decent alternative across the street.

Weekend lunch buffet included egg and goat curries, chicken masala, tandoori chicken, various rices... hope i spelled those correctly. Naan was just okay. Sweet rice and gulab jamun we're nice but cold. I expected them to be warm or room temperature. A/C was out but room was not uncomfortable. No Kingfisher. Maharaja was very cold. Would definitely return.

We do delivery from this place a few times a month. The food is amazing, and so is the delivery speed. I'd recommend trying Malai Kofta here. Its the best!

My go to spot for Indian food! By far the best price for all you can eat Indian brunch anywhere for $18. Devon Ave area an be hard to park sometimes, but it's definitely worth it.

Amazing food, beautiful environment, clean, incredible service, and very good prices. We had the lunch buffet today and it was such an amazing way to taste a variety of Indian foods and find your favorites. Also all of the food was fresh. We will definitely be coming back many more times. Glad to know we are done looking for good Indian food.

Food is good. You'll love it if you can't handle spice. The menu is nice and there is a good bar menu too. Parking during the weekends is a bit difficult on the street. Costumer service is good. Food came fast. But do not expect spicy Indian food here.

This restaurant improved it's food quality over 10 years ago and it's been a favorite since. It's the best buffet lunch for the price (approx. $11 per person) in south Rogers Park.

After a pause when the for quality was not so great, the buffet is again the top of the crop and I have returned!

This is the place on Devon to eat...not cheap, but worth it every time...everything is first rate...their lamb is worth the visit. I recommend Chicken Tandoori, along with Naan to start with.

Good food variety to choose from, with signs, telling you what the dish is. A bit spicy, hot, but not overwhelming. I loved their spinach and their mango ice cream. New experience for me. I've had Indian food once before...my system couldn't "do curry." On this occasion, I was quite pleased that I was able to eat the food I chose without digestive upset. Pleasant, efficient wait staff. Takes reservations. Definitely authentic Indian food according to missionary friends who have lived in India.

The lunch buffet was comprehensive and delicious. The butter chicken and tandoori chicken were tasty. The atmosphere is beautiful and the wait staff was very nice and attentive. I sat on my computer for over an hour doing work and they were more than happy to have me sit there munching on food from the buffet. Great place!

One of the best indian food on Devon but parking can be challenge

They have lunch buffet but it is inconsistent, sometimes its delicious, other times not. Ambiance: pretty large area of indoor sitting and pretty much quiet. They have a bar as well in front of it. Service: they have a-la-carte as well as buffet menu. For the a-la-carte menu, it doesn't come with anything such as rice or naan. So most people prefer buffet. By the way the buffet is only for lunch till 4 pm. We always went for buffet. Servers were very friendly. Food: the food is sometimes very delicious no doubt. The buffet contains 2-3 items of appetizers, ample options for non-vegetarian and vegetarian people. They have so many good dishes for buffet and for this low price. They have quiet good sweets for dessert too. You gotta try that mango lassi, try to mix with white kheer, it will be awesome. Will visit again I guess. Its one of the most popular buffet place in devon area, so why not.

Paneer kadhai and the paneer tikka appetizer is the best here out of all the other Indian restaurants at Devon. The service is super awesome. the complimentary papad is very good. I go here quite often. Dont forget to buy a groupon before going to this restaurant.

Food was good, the naan was fantastic. Appetizers were a bit overly fried. Went on a weekday night when it was pretty empty, service was very friendly and fast. Went here with a Groupon but certainly would return.

Great chicken Tikka Masala and Naan! The CTM wasn't too hot/spicy at all! The rice paysam was good too. These are some must tries at this restaurant!

BEST RESTAURANT OF CHICAGO EVER

This is one of the tastier restaurants on Devon Ave if you like a mix of veg and non-veg food. The ambiance is nice, and the wait staff are really nice. The pricing is decent and much better than some of the grease spots you find on Devon. They use a variety of spices, unlike some of the places which just use the same sauce for every dish. This place is a win. I've never had a bad dish here and I've been here at least 10 times.

Let the tourists go to the other places. Viceroy is the best! The basics...saag paneer and butter chicken...are amazing. They come in small separate bowls for sharing, and I guarantee you'll bring at least half of it home...it's that rich! And the lunch buffet is the same quality as the dinner menu. Definitely the place to go when you're bringing your friends to shop for saris and eyebrow threading.

When looking for one of the best restaurants on Devon look not further than Viceroy. The service is great. The food is amazing. They have a great selection of food, which is nice when you have a large group of people. The best thing about Vinceroy is the weekend lunch buffet!

The buffet was good, not the best I have had but certainly serviceable.
