My first experience eating here and I LOVED IT!!! The food chicken fried steak is delicious 😋 and I'm sure other foods are too. Big Portions of food.

Walked in and hostess leaving on menus. I stood waiting for eye contact, she did not look my way. Ignoring me. A man came in after us walked up to her and asked for two seats. She got two menus and went to go seat him, when he noticed us. He asked if he had cut in line. I said yes. He was very polite and insisted we go ahead and get seated. So we did. The breakfast was okay. The server was okay. The coffee was okay. The hostess was bad.

I can’t find a better breakfast burrito anywhere in NM. Hands down the best! The never ending coffee and excellent service are a huge plus. Be sure to grab a handmade strudel to go!

I had the Andy's breakfast burrito with Carne adavada. It was more than I could eat in one sitting. It was awesome, the Carne adavada had a great flavor, the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentitive and anticipated our needs. Highly recommend this place!

The staff was very friendly and We got seated in a timely manner but the chile wasn't that great. We ordered what was supposed to be fry bread huevos ranchero and the "fry bread" was pretty much pizza dough. It even smelled like a pizza. We added bacon to our meal and got diced smoked ham that was not that great. The smoky flavor was over powering. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but just not what we expected. Not worth the hype. Maybe I will try a burger next time

Totally enjoyed the food. Chili was on point and the service was excellent. The wait staff were attentive, polite, and friendly. Totally worth the little wait to be seated.

We wanted to try something new! We live in the surrounding area so we travel for our business because our small town doesn’t have much. So glad we stopped by because I told my husband let’s try something new so we looked it up and bam! Awesome place and awesome staff! Thank you guys!

Absolutely loved our breakfast at Vic’s. We got the Vaqueros, which is a chicken fried steak covered in eggs, cheese, and chile. Chile, both red and green, were spicy and flavorful, the steak, despite being covered in wet stuff, was amazingly crunchy still. Great coffee and service. Only a 20 min wait during a very busy time. Probably waited less.

Had the biscuits and gravy, biscuits are small and definitely not homemade, food tasted like its from a box. If your a restaurant, please put some effort into what you make. The gravy was from a powder and so I decided to at least try a strudel as it looked fresh baked and it was also disappointing, dry and hard to cut. Waitress was great, do something with the kitchen.

Best breakfast we had in Albuqurque. We went early Sunday morning. No wait and lots of parking. Food was amazing.

Do you want to try a new place? Go to Vic’s. The food is delicious. The red & green chili is so good! It’s a very cute restaurant. You can also eat outside. The prices are great & you get a lot of food. The wait staff are always friendly & serve you quick. You need to try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Thus place is by far the best for breakfast and lunch. In the whole state of NM. We go at least twice a month or more. When we are in Albuquerque nm. Try it you will love it. We have been going for five years and never found anything like it. The food can't be beaten anywhere. Service is top-notch. The only downside is they are very busy all the time. But worth any wait .

Nice portions. Fast and friendly service. Outdoor dining was a plus. I had the Denver Omelette with cheese and green chili.

I ordered "Just a Burger, yeah right," and it was dry, no flavor, they forgot the cheese and green chili, the bun was stale and very firm. A terrible burger. It took the waitress three visits to our table in 20 minutes to get the missing ingredients. Sheesh! An "off day" for Vic's . . .

LOVE Vic's Daily Cafe, wonderful service, great wait staff. Eat in, or on their patio. Great food, and plentiful. Took my great grand daughter there on her way to San Diego, she is Navy. She enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros. Was a great day.

It was my first time eating at Vic’s. Incredibly busy BUT the employees were very cordial. We were especially pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of our wait staff, Sue. She is a jewel👏👏👏

You cannot go wrong here. Everything on the menu is good. I’ve had multiple breakfast and lunch items since moving to town. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. The New Mexico meatloaf is outstanding and the chicken fried steak is awesome and huge. If you go for lunch at noon be ready for a wait but it’s worth it.

First time at Vic’s Daily Cafe and let me say the food was exemplary and Service was good. Make sure you take a good appetite because the portions are enormous! The food was so good we went back the following day! Finally get there early!

Excellent red Chile, huge chicken fried steak with tasty breading. The kids loved their pancakes and hubs had the frybead huevos rancheros. Everything was so good, can't believe this was our first time.

This establishment is not a friendly place for individuals with a disability. I have a hearing disability and asked to be seated against a wall, where my hearing aids work better. When the young lady seated us it was in the middle of the room, I asked her to please sit us at an open table and tried to explaine to her why, but she didn't want to hear, she got all huffy, rolled her eye's, and said she had to get her manager, who never showed up, so we just sat in the middle of the room. This was without a violation of the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA). What a shame, because the server was great, and the food outstanding, too bad thge manager cant get the job done training the front desk staff.

I first dropped into Vic's 15 years ago. After being away for way too long, I'm glad to say, the menu hasn't changed and the food is still top notch at an excellent price. Good chile, and a diverse Diner type menu. Wanting Grandma's meatloaf? They have it!

We were just passing through and a relative recommended this place. It was busy on a weekday morning for breakfast but they sat us quickly. Our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and kind. The food was also fresh, hot and delicious. I really enjoyed the French toast. Their prices are great too. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

We were here for breakfast, well attended with a short wait. If it's that crowded, it must be good... One of the best daily cafes I know. Typically New Mexico, fresh dishes with chili (clear), friendly service. Everything extremely tasty, refill coffee and drinks. The omelets are a recommendation. If you want a typical American breakfest, you have to come here. Plan some time, word gets around about what's great...

Best meal in a long time!! 11am on Wednesday for 2 people, and we were seated right away. Had the vegetarian omelet with green chile and cheese, and my boyfriend had the chicken fried steak breakfast. The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly and super fast, as busy as they were. Can't wait to go back!!

My wife and I had lunch yesterday at Vic's and we tried the chicken enchilada platter. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the red sauce was tasty but didn't torch your mouth like Sadie's salsa. Our server Diana was very nice and she brought our meals right away. For dessert she had us try the carrot cake and it was DELICIOUS!! We will be back for lunch soon.

Very busy. Wait time was 30 minutes for party of 2; longer for larger groups. Food was good, portions large. You get your monies worth.

When you see a huge line of people waiting every Saturday to get in that's when you know the food is going to be good. The food certainly did not disappoint. Kind of pricey but well worth it. Definitely recommend

Had the big chicken fride steak. Everything on my plate was fresh. Which is a rarity these days.

I heard there's usually a 40+ minute wait here, so I packed the family into the Jeep extra early on Father's Day and arrived within 10 minutes of opening. Even so, there was already a line out the door, but it moved quickly. While we didn't get seated right away, we had a table within 20 minutes of joining the line. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious. I can't wait to come back!

Great food and fast service. I got the veggie omlette which was delicious. Only wish they had biscuits, you have to get there real early for them.

Awesome breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. The menu is huge and contains some interesting food like liver and onions but also a lot of comfort food like meatloaf with delicious mashed potatoes. Sandwiches, burgers, salads, new Mexican fare and breakfast dishes provide something for everyone. The pecan french toast was off the charts delicious. Oh and they have pies and cinnamon buns..we did not sample but if our meals were any indication, likely very, very good.

It was crowded when we got there but we didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes. The food was delicious. It is a good amount for the price. All the staff were happy, helpful people.

Great food and feels like home!

My husband and I used to go to Mannie's nearly once a week and when they closed we had a hard time finding a new regular diner. Vic's turned out to be a perfect replacement. Everything on the menu so far has been delicious but I really recommend trying their Navajo Huevos Rancheros, it is excellent! It gets very busy there so make sure that you either get there early or be ready for a 20+ minute wait.

I recently had an amazing meal at this restaurant. Despite the wait, the food was definitely worth it. Keep in mind that the wait time tends to be longer on weekends. You should come with a big appetite because the portion sizes are generous. I received fantastic recommendations from regular customers, so I'll pass them on to you: try the steak and the breakfast burrito.

this place is awesome!!! i ordered the huevos rancheros and my boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak, both were SO GOOD! the huevos rancheros usually comes with a flour tortilla on the bottom but i subbed it for corn tortillas and they did that no problem. super yummy! my boyfriends dish was HUGE! the chicken fried steak was seasoned well and tasted very good! the service was decent, not anything super special, but the patio was nice. would return!!

A great place for breakfast or lunch. The food and service is amazing! Both green and red chile is good. It's flavorful and not much heat, which allows you to taste the rest of the dish. Go early so you can get some biscuits before they run out.

Fast service even when packed. Waited 20 minutes showing up at 1015 for two so not bad. Server was great and got us our water and coffee quick. Took out orders quick as well. Only waited 15 minutes after placing orders. The portions are huge and prices well worth what you get. My crispy pork tenderloin was delicious. I tried my wife's CFS also and it was amazing. Tender and juicy, flavorful. The beans are fantastic also, melt in your mouth creamy. The red and green chili has a nice kick to it we both enjoyed. Wife got tortillas and I got sourdough as bread options. Perfect for mopping up the tasty chili sauce. Be sure to nab a dessert of choice from the chalkboard to try or talk with you. Never pass on great scratch made desserts like these at such good prices.

Still a great diner in ABQ, NM. It's located in the front of an industrial park, but don't let that deter you if you are visiting ABQ! Gets crowded at peak lunch hour, especially on the weekends.

I really, really, really don’t understand why this place is so popular. The portions are twice the size of Cracker Barrel, sure, but the quality is twice as bad…and that’s saying a lot. We got the chili relleno and the country fried steak. I found the food pretty revolting and wish I had just heated up something from the freezer instead. Any Costco frozen food would have been twice the quality of whatever they are getting from their supplier. I didn’t eat my food, the biscuits are nasty, the batter was hard and poorly done on the chicken fried steak, and my chili rellones for $16 only had cheese in them and were literally dipped in pancake batter and then fried, which was disgusting. We thought this might be a hidden gem, because we loved our meal at local burrito place (NMBJ) but this place was just YUCK and twice the price as well.

Our waitress was excellent and she gets 10 stars. The manager, however, is not a good manager at all. He or she cares nothing for the comfort of the patrons. There was a very long wait. Many people were waiting outside, and there were tables and chairs that were locked up and no one could sit at them. One woman offered her chair to me because I have recently had surgery and it was painful for me to be standing. My husband went inside and asked if they could see about unlocking some chairs since there were so many people that would like to sit down outside while they wait at least 45 minutes if not longer. The gal came back and apparently the manager couldn’t be bothered and said no. For the life of us the only thing we could figure is the manager just didn’t want to be bothered with it and didn’t care about the comfort of the patrons. Really not cool at all.

Had the beef enchiladas. Just average food and an average experience. Nothing bad to say just that you can get superior NM flavors at a number of other places in Albuquerque.

The service was great however, I ordered the chile relleno and eggs and the chicken fried steak breakfast with fruit to go. They didn't give me eggs with my chile rellenos and gave me moldy fruit. The chicken fried steak was fine.

The service at the restaurant is fantastic! Whoever trained the staff should get a raise! These people New York City hustle!!! The Cooks in the kitchen are cranking out quality food fast! We waited about 3 minutes from order to table and the amount of food is huge. Just about everyone in the restaurant is walking out with a leftover box. Green chili has great flavor too!

I was in a party of three at 1130 am on a Saturday. This restaurant was extremely busy and we waited about 30 minutes for a table. The service and food were very good! We all ordered a different variation of the chicken fried steak breakfast. I ordered the chicken fried steak with green chile, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and biscuits. The meal is a tremendous amount of food, and I took more than half of it home and got a couple more meals out of the leftovers. This is one of the largest and tastiest chicken fried steak meals I have ever eaten in Albuquerque or anywhere else. I highly recommend this restaurant and the chicken fried steak breakfast, but bring your appetite.
