Best pho in Harrisonburg! It’s hard to find good Asian places in Harrisonburg, but we finally found a good place for pho and Vietnamese food. Make sure to check it out.

Best tasting Vietnamese food in Harrisonburg and definitely the best bang for your buck. The owner is very friendly and always greets us. Have been going for years and never had a bad experience. Definitely get the grilled chicken in whatever you order!

Stopped in for some pho and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they serve Bun Bo Hue in the weekend. The broth was flavorful and just spicy enough to create a delicious warmth, much meat variety and quantity and yummy noodles. The staff is caring and friendly, much parking, great prices

I got the Com tam and spring rolls. It was so good. Perfect cute place to have lunch at and everything was delicious. The rice was well cooked the spring rolls were fresh it was scrumdillyyumyum!! And plenty of parking too!! Can’t wait to be back!

Pulled off 81 to eat for lunch; left satisfied! Service is relatively quick and the food is authentic for the Harrisonburg area. The pho was the better dish than the Bun but both were satisfactory. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Fantastic & authentic cuisine! I brought my Vietnamese friends here from New Orleans and they really enjoyed it! They were especially appreciative that the owner is Vietnamese and could speak in their native language together. The ingredients were fresh and the food was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this little treasure and I believe my friends do too!

ok I had lunch a few days back. got the fried spring rolls that as big around as you fingerm they tasted good but they are making them way to small now. the pho was a 3 not homemade plenty of msg though. the shaky beef was good in flavor however you all cut corners with the Meat you use. Its not tender. its like chewing gum. Use atleast a sirloin cut steak. Dont use cuts like chuck or round steak. It just was not good period. Got another dish and that was like bulgogi meat. still not using good cuts of meet. the chicken wings where tasty and good. Ive had many types of shaky beef and whatever your chef is doing they need to use better meat and make your soup pho more authentic. I call it cutting corners. no if ands or buts. I wont be back because i know you will not use hood meat. Well

Best Pho in town. Love the K2 rice paper spring rolls. Properly filled and served with a delicious peanut sauce on the side. The Vermicelli noodles with chicken and shrimp is sooooo yummy. Perfect dish for the hot summer weather. I would add photos but I was too excited to eat!

The person who helped me tried so hard but I wasn't a big fan of the sauces but the food was very fresh. I would highly recommend for anyone that enjoys this type of food.

Some of the best Pho I’ve had! Exceeded all my expectations. They had an amazing vegan pho, with the tofu and curd cooked to perfection and a delicious broth. I would absolutely come back.

I am not sure how or why I forgot to rate this local gem, but better late than never. This pho spot is absolutely hands down the best in the region. And it’s not even close. Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Staunton, Crozet, all trash and pale in comparison to Vietopia’s Pho game. It’s all about the broth and they have that down, but portion size is amazing and huge, so you will not leave hungry. Sides are on point as well, this time around I had the A15 Vietopia special, with a healthy portion of meats it can be ordered with rice or egg noodle. My partner had the A20 seafood soup which was equally amazing. Again do not miss this spot if you are in the area it’s well worth the trip. A special shout out to our server who was simply a step above the rest, professional, knowledgeable and courteous, did I mention he was on point, thank you Jerome

Lacked fresh flavorful ingredients. Vegetables were frozen, no taste/flavor. Chicken was processed, completely bland. Servers were nice, pleasant enough. No way can I recommend Vietopia.

Food was excellent, we had the vegetarian soup,spring rolls,egg noodle and tofu sub....all excellent veggie dishes had plenty to take home and share later too.

I didn’t get to try the food, I’m sure it’s great. They had empty tables but refused service as there is a wait list. Nobody was waiting anywhere that I could see, so whatever.

came here with my parents from luray dropping in doing some errands in harrisonburg it's nice being close to the fun of the college town but also distant back to myself at my casa saw some what looked like to be college students with their parents that was entertaining and refreshing my food was really good i always enjoy pho with sriracha and my favorite part is the broth it was pretty busy and a good time here i enjoy vietnamese and even thought the vietnam vets i've met had cool backgrounds with their exposure to there to be able to think of this as a real place on the map to go to having been around those who did (hanging out at the washington dc va medical center) and think about how it could be fun a 'developing country' the adventure street food really appreciating the other demographics culture thankful for vietnamese cooking the french influence

Delicious pho, banh mi, and other treats available here for very reasonable prices. There's a great mix of unique and classic appetizers available, with plenty of vegetarian/vegan options too. The boba smoothies are also delicious! If I had lived in the area for longer I would certainly have come back plenty more times :)

The BK Beef Stew with Rice Noodles were flavoured well and generously portioned. Egg rolls surprisingly crispy and seasoned vegetables with proteins as well! Very tasty!

Very friendly service and good phos and pork sandwiches are awesome too! Place can get cramped a little at times. And noisy, depending on how crowded it gets.

This was a cute place for some really good authentic Vietnamese food. The food came out very fast and tasted excellent. The spices were great, as well as the Jasmine tea. If you're looking for some good food head over and try it, definitely worth stopping in for a nice dinner.

I've enjoyed a couple meals at this restaurant. In a very sad turn of events, I have contracted an allergy to red meat. This is especially tragic because I can no longer eat traditional beef pho. As an alternative, I seek out vegetarian pho. While I imagine The beef pho here is good, the vegetarian pho was disappointing. The broth tasted like it came from a powder, too salty without richness of flavor. Perhaps the most disappointing part were the veggies. They were tough and chewy and it was clear that they came directly out of the freezer. I hope this restaurant will step up their game for their vegetarian options. There are many vegetarians and vegans in this town, as well as those of us who can't eat beef or pork. Other than the veggie pho, I appreciate the friendliness of the staff and the no-frills atmosphere.

Every time we crave Vietnamese, Vietopia is our main go to for takeout or dine in because the quality and service never disappoints. My top recommendations are the pho thai, spring rolls, banh mi, and wings. Everything here is so good!

We're on the road and we saw this Viet restaurant on our exit app so we decided to stop by. We loved it! Great lunch combo with a beef broth. The pho had a nice beefy flavor as well. If we drive down the same path I'd stop again. Real cute place 0.6 miles down from the highway. Kinda tucked behind this big tree line.

Given all the positive reviews, both my wife and I were disappointed in the Pho. We both had the eye round and brisket beef pho. The Pho broth really lacked a depth of flavor and the brisket tasted very "old". Neither of us finished the brisket which for us is unheard of. It was our 4th stop for Pho on our trip up north and were sadly turned off. On the other hand, the service was good. Won't be returning.

Delicious bun rieu. Yummy iced coffee, very fresh. Spring rolls and peanut sauce delicious. Great money for the food quality. Service exceptional considering they are always so busy.

We have been eating Pho for over twenty-five years and have been to many Pho restaurants all over the D.C. metro area and surrounding suburbs.. Vietopia is hands down the best out of all of them. Everything is consistently excellent. We travel over 45 minutes once a week to eat here. You can tell the regulars by the sighing and exclamation of pleasure when they first start eating. The owner and staff are very attentive and pleasant. It is popular with the JMU crowd and even Hispanic clients so when school is in session, it can be quite filled up around lunch time. Always a great sign. Needless to say, we love Vietopia.

Went for lunch. Few people. Got seated fast and ordered pork, chicken and Pho. All came fast. with soup and rice and vegetables. Extremely tasty. Got takeway also of the pork and chicken dishes. Cheap eat and will go there again.

The food was really fresh and rich tasting and the service was good. Only thing the broth was a bit oily but it still tasted nice. Would recommend coming on a nice Sunday afternoon :)))

Just discovered this wonderful family-owned restaurant. It is a clean, no-frills interior. But the food is superb. The chicken rolls with peanut sauce were large and filled with fresh ingredients. The Pho was huge with lots of beef. The portions are enough that 2 people can share. We ordered one of the spring rolls (2 pieces) and one beef pho (sort of a soupy dish). It was enough to divide between us 2 adults. The surprise was the bubble tea -- which is not a tea but something like a smoothie. I had mango. Husband had avocado. The were cold and delicious. There are big pieces of tapioca that provide the "bubbles." I highly recommend.
