My wife and I dine there as much as possible, every single bite of food I've ever had has been exceptional, especially any veal dish. The chef pays extreme attention to detail and freshness in the ingredients he serves, and they've always waits on us when we're there, he's the best. They did a super job on the remodel, the only thing I would recommend is to dim the lights a little bit more. Can't wait to visit again !

Had a wonderful dinner! Everything was so delicious, drinks, appetizer, bread & dipping sauce. The lobster ravioli with sun dried tomato vodka sauce was amazing! Veal pizzaiola was also fantastic.. great atmosphere & and great service!

Was brought here by a local. I’d never have found it otherwise. Smallish space that has a chic feel to it. The bar at the back was incredibly popular. I didn’t drink so I can’t speak to the quality of the drinks but they do have an extensive and satisfying wine list. The food here is exceptional and all the staff are exceptional. Our waiter, Justin was engaging, knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. This might be a crown jewel on the Central Florida East coast.

I have never written a review on Tripadvisor, but having been to the newly renovated Villa Palma Restaurant in Indialantic, FL last week, I just had to let everyone know how fabulous it is. I was in shock when I entered this very familiar restaurant. The seating is much more open The decor is sleek, sophisticated and equivalent to the most upscale restaurant in NYC. They have added a beautiful full service bar, and the bartenders were so attentive and eager to meet our every request, as were the rest of the staff! They were great! The seating was much more open, our meals were delicious and still very reasonably priced. After years of dining here, I felt like I had been transported to a major city restaurant with all of the excitement and ambience that is found in those very famous locations. This popular restaurant has always had a full house, but I predict in the very near future we will have to make our reservations weeks in advance!

My first time trying this place. As soon as we were seated our server said do you know what you want ? Huh ? Yes I’d like a glass of water and a drink menu. She says do you know what you want ? My husband says do you have any specials, she rattles a few off and then brings us our bottle of wine and our friends had cocktails. She opens the wine and says again do you know what you want. Now I’m annoyed I feel like I’m in pizza parkour at this point. We ordered an appetizer of barrata, we asked if it was enough to share and she said yes. 4 nasty tomatoes with a tiny piece of barrata and 1 basil leaf drowned in balsamic glaze gross 🤮 so now we’re ready to order dinner and she’s no where to be found. Thankfully we had bread to munch on. The server said what kind of salad do you want? I said house ( figuring it was included ) she said do you want blue cheese crumbles ? I said sure. At no point did she mention there was an up charge for cheese or a charge for the salad. . I had the chicken rollatini which I almost sent back because it was not even recognizable as such, it was 2 balls with sauce. It wasn’t terrible but mediocre at best. They served it with a small bowl of what looked like ziti with some kind of nasty red marinara sauce. When the bill came I see that I was charged for the salad $6 and $1 for blue cheese, then the biggest shock was that they added a 3.50% service fee !!! For what ? Bad service, mediocre overpriced food, sadly won’t be back.

Thank you for this overwhelming beautiful experience. Staying at a hotel in Melbourne I decided to look for a Italian Restaurant on Google maps at 8.30 PM. Villa Palma was the closest one with decent reviews. The problem was, they close at 9PM and considering it was a Monday night they'd probably closed by the time we arrived. We decided to give it a shot anyhow. So we arrived at 8.45PM to a very unassuming place that looked closed and well, not very inviting. I got out of the car to check the door and the moment I opened it magic happened. Almost every table was still occupied and we were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile by what turns out to be the owners daughter. I have to stop here, because I would go on and on. With a few simple words: We were carried away. The food was excellent and authentic. The staff was super friendly, attentive and entertaining. Real humans taking pride in what they are doing. Go and check it out yourself and keep in mind that they're humans after all. They might have a bad day once in a while. But we got lucky a 100% and left with warm hearts and big smiles.

Tonight was their first night open after the renovation. I will start off by saying the restaurant was beautiful! I love what they did with the decor. The food was also delicious. Our server seemed scattered. We gave him a lot of grace because it was the reopening but he had worked their many years. It wasn't his first picnic! We will definitely return.

I heard so many good things about this place. I was underwhelmed. Very dated, and the food was bland, and my chicken was undercooked. I did notice they are doing some renovations, so I'm assuming the experience was due to that, so I might give it another try in the future. I really want to like this place.

Delicious Dinner and Excellent Service!

We made a reservation for 7:30 and were not seated until 7:50- then we were seated at a table all the way in the back corner against the construction wall with staff looking at us but nobody acknowledging us. At 8:10 we got up and left.

Excellent service and food as well! Classic Italian dishes made well! I ordered the chicken rollatini with the puttanesca and linguine. My friend had the fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli and she loved it. The oil with herbs and parm with the bread service was ridiculously delicious! The restaurant is decorated nicely but lacks ambiance with lack of music. It has the opportunity to be romantic if there were candles on the tables, etc.

Food is delicious! The red sauce is not sweet, tastes very similar to my sicilian grandmother's sauce, we love it. I had the eggplant rolitni with gluten free pasta, the portion was large and the eggplant was superb. The bread and oil was excellent (I only tasted the oil, but the rest of my party devoured the bread and said it was wonderful). The caesar salad dressing was hands down the best I've ever had!!! Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely go back.

Blown away! Grew up in an Italian restaurant. Closed 26 years ago and I’ve been on the hunt for something that came close. Finally, 26 yrs later I have my new favorite. It’s unfortunate that I have to drive an hour+ for it but can’t wait for our next trip. Everything, that we had was spot on! Party of 5 and we all tried something different and all tasted each others… all fantastic!

We are so excited we found this place! We live in Orlando and came to the beach for the weekend. It is so hard to find good Italian and we just hit the jackpot. The fresh bread with the olive oil dip was amazing. We were a party of 5 and we ordered the Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, Veal Parm, Cheese Ravioli with bolognese and a bowl of pasta with marinara. It all was fantastic! I would order the veal and eggplant a hundred times over. Blown away. Thanks for the great meal. We will be back!

We have enjoyed this restaurant for many years and visit each year we come on vacation. Our visit last evening was less than perfect. It was a special occasion for us but the meal was not even average. The waiter was very nice and friendly but the food was not enjoyable at all. We both had veal entrees and the veal was over cooked. Maybe other selections would have been a better selection. Also, the service charge on using a credit card is ridiculous at a quality restaurant. We will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Peter is the best!! The food was amazing, and he made the experience that much better! Gave us a free appetizer to try out and share, recommended a great wine, and made awesome conversation. Very personable guy which is hard to come by these days! Amazing authentic Italian food! Portions we nice sized as well. Will return if we ever find ourselves in Melbourne, FL again. I will however say whoever was the host was lazy. Didn’t want to seat us because they were “full”. When we asked how long it would be he didn’t have an answer. We ended up sitting down 5 min later.. He must’ve just wanted to go home early.

Absolutely delicious. The fra diavlo was so good. Everything was amazing. I don't think you could go wrong with any dish except the Caesar salad was a bit lacking luster. Maybe try the house salad?

My wife and I’ve been to this restaurant on three different occasions over the past two years and never really got a good meal. We hear from the neighbors that they really enjoy it there, and we always try to give it another chance, and always falls flat! We hope that one day, Indialantic by the Sea will get a good Italian restaurant !

We LOVE this restaurant, the service from the wait staff and the delicious food. The problem is with the new young hostess. She is not schooled in customer service. We had a reservation and asked for a booth. Two were empty but not yet cleaned. She said curtly that they weren't ready and sat us at a table, plunking down the menus. She did not give us the option to wait for the booth. She seated another couple there less than 10 min later. We also encountered this same hostess another time, walking in to ask for a table with no reservation. She was very curt and said "we're full." She walked away and didn't look to see if anyone was leaving or if there was a chance to get a table. We are locals in Indialantic, and we miss the previous hostess. We have friends who separately had the same uncomfortable experience with this girl. She needs some training in customer service.

You know it's a great place when every table is full, there is a line at the door and people are ordering to-go orders. Atmosphere here is very lovely, quaint and relaxing. Food was amazing both the red sauces to the white, Absolutely delicious !! Deborah was amazing to our family and her recommendations were spot on. Would come here again and our best wishes to the staff on the future. Do make a reservation ahead of time.

The best authentic Italian food for miles around. Make a reservation, two weeks before you plan to go, Look over menu on-line before hand and your mouth will water and whatever you think you will choose you'll probably change your mind once you sit down and take in the atmosphere .

Food was very subpar, ketchup or sweet tomato based sauce on saltimbocca... but the pesto gnocchi was delicious. Service great, seems like quick fancy Italian food, with major corners cut in kitchen.

This is a quaint, unassuming little place. Reservations are strongly recommended as they are usually busy. The pasta dish I had was quite good, but it could have benefited from fresh ground pepper. Service was pretty good, but our server was a little distracted. This is a good choice for a local, white table cloth, Italian restaurant. By the way, the chocolate mousse was delicious.

Our evening there was perfect. I was a little worried about not having a reservation, but the young lady hosting found us a spot. We had a great bottle of wine, their amazing beard. My husband had Veal, and I had Chicken Marcela, soooo good. But can I tell you about the dessert? OMG, I am not a dessert person, but WOW! So Amazing! Joey was a great waiter and his instruction on reheating the bread was perfect. We ended the night meeting the nicest couple that are regulars there, I believe they said 25 years they have been going there. That says it all. Thanks for a great night, and we'll be back soon!

Had reservation but still had to wait. No hostess with about 8 people cramped inside. Prices on the high side but okay if the food was excellent. Food was simply average. Escargot was half the portion as normal but at the same high price. Nice place to go if you live by and don't want to go to the Dove. 3% surcharge on credit card is unheard of for a place that gets top dollar. Done with them as you should.

Woooo weeee probably the most authentic Italian food you will have in the area. From the ingredients to your belly, there is absolutely no doubt you are going to leave this restaurant thinking and craving moments later for more. You never want it to end. EVERYTHING IS FRESH. The sauce is homemade, the pasta from scratch, the meat and seafood FRESH…my mouth is watering right now 🤤 we enjoyed the servers - their sense of humor, knowledge of the menu, and willing to teach us some Italian 😉 The atmosphere is intimate. My boyfriend took me here my first time for a date, other times with friends and we always enjoy ourselves. This is a hidden gem. Important to make a reservation especially on the weekend. And if you’re not too full remember to ask for some sauce to go. You will not regret it.

This restaurant is a hidden gem . It is beautiful inside , the ceiling is elegant . This is an authentic Italian restaurant and the service is phenomenal. Everyone is extremely friendly and outgoing. We really enjoyed eating here. Our server Joey was a delight and added to our pleasant experience !

Just ate here. Excellent! Had lobster ravioli and angel hair bolognese. The garlic/olive oil/Parmesan dip with the bread is worth the trip. It’s a strip mall so it’s not fancy but the service was good and the food very good!

October 2023. Food still amazing. Chicken Parm as delicious as before, bolognese was scrumptious. We were celebrating birthdays and were surprised with amazing cannoli and tiramisu. November, 2021. Adding to my review. One year later food was as delicious as it was the first time. Chicken parm thin and crispy again and the blackened shrimp and scallop fettuccine was rich and scrumptious. Stay tuned for more pictures - we will be back for this guilty pleasure! November, 2020 Adding to my review below, we had dinner here again. The chicken parm - chicken was pounded thin and crispy with rich a rich tomato sauce and Shrimp Gnocchi Ala Vodka - oh my - so very rich and yummy. When we walked into the low warm lighting with the high booths, Italian vignettes on the walls, and white linen table cloths, I felt like We were in a Soprano episode. Service was great and it is obvious after being open over 30 years they take great care of the place. We stared with the warm baked bread with a delish dipping oil and Parmesan cheese then onto our house salads with home made balsamic dressing (fantastic) and crumbles of Gorgonzola cheese. For our main course, my husband had Angel Hair with Bolognese Sauce and I had the shrimp and scallop piccata over Angel Hair. The portions are not large but certainly enough for a meal (nothing to take home for leftovers). Bolognese was delicious and my husband said he would definitely get again. Mine was light, not too rich or overly lemon flavor, although I do think it could have had a bit more lemon taste and the scallops (wish I had more than 2) and shrimp (5) were really good. After all of that and a bottle of wine, no room left for deserts but they looked yummy. Sorry the pics are not better, difficult to take good ones in the low light.

I proceeded to tell my sister about this restaurant when I realized that I forgot to leave a review! My husband, my nephew and I visited Villa Parma on Labor Day after spending hours at the beach. We couldn't be more happy that we stumbled upon this place. We were seated right away and our wonderful server, Sherry, was warm, inviting and attentive throughout the meal. When I told her that we were visiting from NJ we were shocked to learn that she was actually born in the hospital where I'm currently part of the medical staff! The food was some of the best we've ever had (and being New Yorkers that says a lot!) I enjoyed my veal parm, my go to staple, and my husband and nephew enjoyed theirs as well. My husband does not eat dairy so he requested no cheese and to our pleasant surprise his pasta came WITHOUT grated cheese! We even ordered an extra meal to go for my mother. Whenever you're in the Melbourne area, do yourself a favor and visit this unassuming yet delicious Italian restaurant.

If you like getting ignored and having to flag down wait staff for the basic things, then this is the place for you. I did try to discuss this with the owner first but he refused to call me back. It’s a shame because I love Mom and Pop restaurants but you have to employ waiters who also care about being present and available for Customers dining in. Just check on your customers (especially don’t hide in the back the whole time).

My mother in law had some old gift cards to Villa Palma so we decided to finally use them and order take out. When I picked up the order, I could not believe how expensive everything was! We ordered off of their menu online that obviously had not been updated in a very long time because the prices were way higher than what was advertised. To make the "surprise" worse, I ordered extra scallops with my alfredo which was a $15 extra charge. I thought the extra scallops were in one of the containers in my order so I took it home after reluctantly paying the huge bill. Upon opening all the containers, no scallops were found so I drove back to the restaraunt and inquired about the extra scallops. A man looked at my order and said that they forgot the scallops so he went to the back to tell the kitchen to make some. One of the cooks came up shortly after and looked at my alfredo and counted the 4 scallops and told me that I did indeed receive my "extra" scallops and that a normal order of scallops is 3 less scallops. The cook left but the hostess told me the kitchen was still going to get some extra scallops so I waited. 5 minutes later she tells me "actually theyre not making any extra scallops". TLDR: this place is a massive ripoff and extremely overrated. Take your money somewhere else!

Reservation is recommended and we didn't know that snd they fit us in. The homemade bread was great, and the homemade gnocchi with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken was amazing

A delightful hidden gem! My husband and I had a date night here after spending the day at the beach. It was the perfect atmosphere! The service was impeccable and we were treated with friendly hospitality. Michelle took care of us and she was so kind. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the dessert. If we visit Melbourne again, we’re definitely going back!

It may be that Villa Palma doesn't do much business in takeout, but whatever the reason, they don't do it well. Their online menu has wrong prices, there are extra charges not mentioned, and their estimates of when the food will be ready are optimistic. For example, the online menu lists the following prices, with the real prices in parenthesis: Angel Hair Pasta $14.95 ($21.95) Cheese Ravioli w Meat Sauce $14.95 ($16.95) Veal Marsala $17.95 ($26.95) Chocolate Mousse $ 6.95 ($ 7.95) That's more that a typo. The salad that is supposed to come with dinner . . . . doesn't. There is a charge, unmentioned, for using a credit card. The food was okay; not great, but not bad. It wasn't worth the actual prices, in my opinion.

Called in an order for takeout and showed up 45 min later as instructed and told the hostess I was here to pick up. After waiting 20 min a server came over to tell me they had no record of my order and asked what we wanted, telling me it would be another 30 min before the food would be ready. I walked out of course. This is the second screw up with a take out order. We used to enjoy Villa Palma but things have gone downhill with poor organization and service.

Not to die for, service was my least favorite part of the meal. Had no idea there was even espresso on the menu til I looked when we got home. Even though our waitress was the only "not busy one there" -her words exactly, apparently we weren't interesting enough for her. She walked by us when we were trying to get her attention so many times, I literally felt almost invisible. We had the special burrata appetizer and it was good, could have used more basil but the cheese and tomatoes were fresh and delicious. Next we had the special Grouper over putanesca angel hair. We also ordered the Caesar salad as a main. The Caesar did not come at the same time. It took probably 3-4 mins to get the salad which had no croutons? But the salad was decent, we did get fresh black pepper on both. The Grouper was a little overcooked but otherwise the meal was decent. Again, nothing to rave about. Finally we ordered lemon cello cake and coffee (no offer of espresso or cappuccino) and we finished the cake before we were delivered our coffee. So....service again is lacking. IMO. We will give it another try, another time, but for now, I'll spend my money elsewhere. Meal for 2 with a $37 bottle of wine before tip was $128. Not cheap, not great, but not horrible.

Food delicious. Service seemed a little harried despite more than adequate waitstaff for a small restaurant. It needs to update the website as inclusives as well as prices have changed.

Im here on vacation. It was recommended to go to Villa Palma. The food was excellent. Fried calamari was the best I've ever had. Filet mignon Marsala was excellent. Server, she was very attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend them. Thank you for a great experience.

The absolute BEST Italian Restaurant…. Food is AMAZING

The new renovations are terrible! I have been going to the Villa for 17 years. The bright atmosphere and Italian frescoes gave me great pride in my ethnicity and always inspired a pleasurable experience. The ambiance enhanced the meal, and made the high prices and credit card fees tolerable. The new decor is dark, drab and almost dungeon like. It completely took away the culinary experience. The food appeared bland to me. I am so saddened that I will not return. Management made a great blunder and misjudged their customer base.

Alert. Hidden credit card fee!!!! Food is great. They just don’t have the guts to raise their prices and instead add a 3.7% credit card fee. No one pays 3.7% credit card fees. Thanks for overcharging me. I even paid most of the bill in cash and the same fee remained.

My wife had shrimp pasta and I had fish plate. Meal was very good. We went last year and made sure we got a reservation this year. We were not rushed at all. The restaurant is in a strip mall so looks unassuming but suggest you get a reservation. consistent good food and service.

I've traveled to Italy but never expected to find an Italian gem next to an all-American hardware store! Yet Villa Palma's humble outside is in stark contrast to the exquisite cuisine offered inside. Fresh fish, homemade EVERYTHING adorns this traditional yet surprising menu. Eight of us were all in agreement that THIS was a place to return to. From succulent calamari to the creamy tiramisu and cappuccinos with sugar sticks - I felt so happy and lucky to have experienced Villa Palma with family and friends!

Delicious food and wine. Delightful ambiance, music, lighting, servers. Pros all around. Good mix of casual vibe with seriously good food and drink.

Don’t attempt to order on Uber eats. They Held onto the order for over an hour before they cancelled the order. Just happens to be my husbands birthday, he wanted to stay in tonight to watch the NFL playoffs…so this sucks a little extra and was an EXTREME inconvenience. Now it’s almost 8pm, starving, and we have to start all over ordering with another restaurant.

Still our go-to for a delicious Italian meal with friendly, attentive service. Portions are hearty and we always leave with enough for a light lunch the following day.

Googled Villa Palma, found the menu and placed a takeout order for chicken parmigiana entree (listed at $16.95 on the menu). When I went to pick it up they said it was $21.95. I showed them the online site we ordered from and they said “that was not their official website, they don’t have an online menu”. Everything is ala carte which is a bit ridiculous. The food was ok but not worth the price. It was a single thin cut piece of chicken with some rigatoni noodles. No garlic rolls, no side salad, just chicken parmigiana with some noodles. You can get a better Italian meal in downtown Melbourne for much less. Don’t bother.

Food sucks here so hit and miss. Pasta was watery and the veal tasted lik an old shoe. Pete the owner or manager has a bad attitude to boot. This place gives Italian food a bad rap. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 they don't get 5 stars they get 5 vomits. 0 stars

We ate dinner here on our last day in Florida. Awesome food and awesome customer service. Very close to everything. We probably would eat here again service was a little slow.

I have been driving by this place/plaza for two years and I regret not checking it out sooner. Sometimes the most unassuming places are the best. Food & service here is absolutely wonderful. How lovely it is to live in such a beautiful place on the ocean with all the amenities without all the in your face glitz of some other places. Quaint surfer town that’s often referred to as a little piece of paradise..

The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. However, the past few times we have come, they have not allowed us in because the kitchen is backed up. We have seen them not allow people to sit at the bar to eat because the kitchen decided to close early. I understand times are difficult, but the inconsistency with this place is awful. I don’t believe it’s the servers issue, but the kitchen. Maybe management needs to get on the same page. Make sure you get reservations and don’t plan on walking in. If you do get reservations, they also may be out of multiple menu items.

Very underwhelming. Overpriced frozen food. Tasted OK but for the prices, it should be fresh.
