Took my daughter here for lunch since she wanted pizza and it was close by with decent reviews. It was our first time. When we got there there was one table and the rest of the restaurant was empty. Despite that it took about 5 minutes for the waitress to come out of the back just to tell us to sit anywhere which is fine but a sign or something would be nice. The other table left shortly after we were seated so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The garlic rolls are complementary which was a nice surprise. They tasted great despite being slightly over done. Crispy outside soft inside with lots of garlic. We got the pizza antico. The pizza was a bit wet when it came out but the crust was crispy and the pizza was really good. The service was slow considering we were the only ones there but the young woman was very nice. The decor is old school 90's Italian. It's a small place and most of the lighting came from the front windows. Overall it's good and I'd go back if I was close by and wanted pizza but don't think I'll be a regular.

**Restaurant Review: An Unexpected Disappointment** Our recent dining experience at this establishment left much to be desired, despite its high price point. I ordered the Tortelini Alfredo, and while we received complimentary soup and a house salad, the overall quality and atmosphere were severely lacking. Firstly, the environment was uninviting—dimly lit, unclean, and with an unpleasant odor. The bathrooms were in poor condition; the men's restroom door couldn't lock, leading to awkward encounters. It's disheartening to see the decline, especially considering a friend's glowing review from 40 years ago. The food itself was a mixed bag. While the portions were generous, the taste did not match our expectations. The Tortelini Alfredo and Mediterranean chicken special were bland and unremarkable. The salad ingredients seemed fresh, but the salad itself looked & tasted old and unappetizing, as if it had been left out for too long. Despite the free soup & house salad, which was a nice gesture, it couldn't make up for the overall disappointment. Given the high cost, one would expect a much better experience. The restaurant clearly needs a makeover to justify its pricing. Our expectations, unfortunately, were not met, and we left feeling let down. For a place charging premium prices, investing in both the ambiance and food quality is essential. With some improvements, it could potentially match its pricing, but for now, it's barely worth two stars. However, given the portion sizes and the complimentary items, I'll generously rate it three stars.

One of only a few restaurants that serves veal siciliano. Which is a dinner I love. It's prepared well, the atmosphere is quaint, and the service was excellent.

My girlfriend and I ate there this past Saturday night for the first time and loved the food. The entrees, appetizers were well portioned delicious and the dessert (Tiramisu) was to die for.😋Highly recommend Vita. We had for the entrees, chicken francese, class with linguine white wine garlic sauce.

we're always looking for good italian restaurants. we came here and my parents were sold by the music alone. the food is really delicious. their garlic rolls are so yummy. i love their pasta faggioli soup. i had the penne alla vodka. really good. the sauce was very light. for dessert, we all shared a blueberry cheesecake and then my dad ordered a plate of zeppolis. we had to take the zeppolis home because they gave us a big plate full of small & medium size zeppolis, with the chocolate dipping sauce. we'll definitely be back next week :)

Just left and paid $80 for over cooked pasta on fettuccine Alfredo , ice cold garlic rolls that we sent back twice and still did not come out hot. How hard can it be to cook pasta and rolls very disappointed !! If you can't get garlic rolls right not impressed - with the price of the bill and quantity not worth it !!! And to top it off my husband and I were the ONLY customers in the restaurant, so it's not like they were busy. The service was just ok- Management needs to work on the back of the house - to teach their cooks better & not throwing ice cold garlic sauce on top of garlic bread & to cook pasta ...!!!

No physical menu was available. Had to scan the QR code with the most disorganized and LONG online menu. No slices are available after 3pm. There is no pizza on the kids' menu. Prices on dishes are pricey. Ended up ordering a pie of pizza that came out almost half an inch thick. Not tasty at all. Service was sub-par. I was never asked for a soda refill. Staff are too busy chatting it up with friends at the tables. The only good thing was the garlic knots. I do not recommend this place and will not return.

After ordering a pickup and dining in couple times can only rate a 4. The waitress yesterday was so so. She seemed very overwhelmed and distracted. We had dirty dishes stay on the table all throughout the meal. Asking for a water and then getting it after asking again 30 min later was a bit disappointing. Food was a bit pricey for the service offered. Initially the hostess was wonderful and very accommodating, then her shift must have ended. However I did tip well as I have been in the restaurant business a while and realize that’s how they make their money. I still felt that leaving a better tip is always the courteous thing to do. However I may not visit Vita’s for a while. Maybe next time I can rate a 5, but for now it stays at a 4

Everything is good except the cost of an extra small salad. 6$ for a small bowl of lettuce w 2 cherry tomatoes 2 limp pieces of onion and a pepper is absolutely unacceptable

I came to this restaurant by chance with a friend and we wanted to eat pasta. The service was great, the food was fantastic; they prepare sauces from the house, not from cans that you can feel when you eat, in my case I can not consume citrus like tomato but this food was so well prepared that we went at night and it did not hurt us I really recommend it.

We placed a large catering order for our company holiday party tonight. The food was outstanding. The sausage and peppers were the best I've ever had.

We have been using Eric’s VITA ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Cooper City for the last few years. Not only do we love this place. We also use this venue to cater our annual Holiday Party. Which is usually approximately 300 to 400 people . Our employees love the specialties that Eric and the Vita crew send us. We are so excited We are about to have our annual event in 10 days We know it will be Great as always. Joey

I am writing about my experience with the catering from Vita. About a week before my event I sat and consulted with Eric who gave great advice about what we should order. On the day of the event, the worker, who was very friendly and efficient, arrived on time with our food and serving supplies. The food was delicious and everyone was very pleased. We had ziti, meatballs, salad, chicken/broccoli ziti and garlic rolls. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and all for a very good price as well. I highly recommend Vita as a caterer for your event. It was an excellent value.

I walked in at this empty restaurant and nobody was receiving customers. I sat down and waited for 15 minutes for someone to gave me a menu and nobody even notice that I was there. I stood up and asked where was the restroom and the pointed to a creepy hallway with a big water bucket on the way. Once I get in to the restroom it was completely destroyed and dirty… is this even a real place? I would stay away even if I never tried the food.

Honestly, the food is bland. Our "server" was the acting Manager who boasted he only works 2 days a week. Super self-imposed. Dishes came out with everything dropped on top of each other. I ordered the Veta. Just was a mess. And the calimari was rubbery and flavor less. The server or Manager got offended when he kept trying to come over and tell stories about himself when we just wanted to be alone. After he got the hint he was rude and stopped checking on us. And at the end I heard him mutter I'm surprised he tipped 25%. I'm a server so I usually do better. So this guy is driving away business because we won't be back.

Customer service is the best, you feel like family.

Sometimes I eat in and sometimes I take out. Today I had delivered antipasto salad and Penny à la vodka with grilled chicken. It was exceptionally delicious. Really let down by Vita’s this time. Worst meat lovers pizza to date from Vita’s. Normally, it’s great. Is there a new person making the pie? Has restaurant been sold? Meat lovers Pizza not nearly as loaded as in the past and i’m long time customer. Even crust was sub par.

I’m a big fan but today not so much. Ordered a meat lovers pizza that barely had any meat or cheese. Not the pizza I’ve had before and I won’t order again. Whoever made it needs to go back to pizza school. It was awful

I definitely would recommend this place. The *Breaded chicken* Alfredo is pretty awesome and always fresh! I've been coming here since my wife became obsessed with the Gorgonzola Salad and it seemed to stick. The staff is friendly and attentive to every need you may have within an Italian Restaurant lol. The quality of the food has gone down. I use to frequent this place years ago. But I wont anymore.

Words can’t describe this jewel of a restaurant! Much more then a great Italian restaurant don’t know where to begin! We started with a pizza with garlic amazing !! Had the meatballs with pasta Amazingly delicious! I had the my favorite Philly cheese steak WOW! then we tried the chef owners cheese cakes OMG ! So incredibly delicious had two huge slices that you can’t finish the chef owner makes himself from scratch wow ! The chef owner is a kool guy very approachable easy to chat with . Please go you won’t be disappointed take the family or your friend or go alone don’t matter fun relaxing atmosphere clean and great friendly staff they GET the meaning of service !! Thank you Erick for your hospitality see you soon !! PS: BEST garlic rolls in town !! Fast forward~ been back to this establishment twice since last review and let me say still impressed in fact may have been even better had a little of everything including the home made deserts OMG ! so yummy go treat yourself or the family so so good dine in or take out any which way food is delicious kudos chef Eric !!

As an Italian family , It's not easy to find good Italian food . Meaning sitting down and Ordering something & not feeling like you could make it better at home. Vitas will definitely make you feel like your grandma is in the back cooking your meal for you. Everything was amazing from the salad, to the soup pasta fagioli, the chicken francese , the cheesecake 😋 such a hidden gem so glad we found it

The garlic rolls are amazing very generous with garlic and parmesana cheese. I definitely recommend the Penne a la Vodka delicious. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Staff is very friendly and service is great. At least I was able to take this picture of the last one. The Cesar salad also delicious.

Food was not like it use to be,to home a chicken parm dinner, got home just chicken no pasta or salad or rolls,tried calling got voice mail. Will not be going back ever.

i’ve never written a review in my life… however this place is incredible. my whole family came down here to visit me at college, it’s been my job to pick places that represent where i live. by chance we picked vitas!!! not only was the service incredible, we we’re constantly checked on and taken care of. at the end of the night we had plans to go somewhere else for desert, all the sudden our waitress come over with four slices of cheesecake! it was overall incredible food, service and environment. by far my favorite place i’ve been to so far!!!

Great service and cozy Italian food that makes you feel home. Great garlic breads (probably the best ones I have ever had). The pizza is new york style, crispy crust and perfect blend of cheeses and herbs. If you are in the neighborhood check them out.

Pizza is delicious. Rolls are good. But the highlight is their cheesecake!! So many gourmet flavors to choose from. All look amazing! This time I got the cookie butter one and it was to die for. My friend got the blue berry white chocolate one which was amazing as well. The slices are double or triple the size of Cheesecake Factory and flavor beats them too! That’s saying a lot from me since I’ve been a huge cheesecake factory fan. I’ve tried all their flavors! Now I must try all of vitas flavors! So far none disappoint.

My girlfriend and I have been coming to Vita for almost a year now, and there's not good enough things that we can say about it. The environment is great, small and cozy and everyone is amazing here. Eric, the owner has been nothing but welcoming and always takes care of everyone, you'll see him making cheesecakes, serving tables, cleaning and making sure everyone is doing okay. Erika always serves us and she's always amazing. She has a great attitude and is extremely sweet. The food is 10/10 and don't even get me started on how good the cheesecakes are!

Eric and his team are spectacular! They really care about their customers and food quality. I usually go in a few times a week and order the portabello caprese, eggplant rollatini, pizza, and sometimes grilled shrimp parm, all delicious!!! Eric and his staff always offer to help me to my seat (because I have limited mobility). They’re consistently friendly and happy to accommodate any special requests. The cheesecakes are to die for and all made in house!!

Come experience as I did Vita restaurant's family feel and upmarket food. Everything we ordered here was excellent from the pizza to the chicken and portobello mushroom sandwich which was excellent.

BEWARE - OWNER ERIC DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE - Preordered a raspberry cheesecake which is a $90.00 purchase (specifically requested no chocolate). Called the restaurant the day of pick up asked if I could pay over the phone for the cake and send someone else to pick it up, young lady said yes and that the raspberry cheesecake was ready. The cake arrived at its location and it was a chocolate truffle raspberry cheesecake which is not what I ordered and it was unfortunately too late to return at that time as the restaurant that we were at already put candles throughout the cake. I called to speak with the manager the next day to let them know what happen and that they made an error on my order (not looking for a refund just a simple apology and make them aware so it doesn’t happen to someone else) The owner Eric told me it was not his fault, that the ticket did say raspberry cheesecake but when the individual picked up the cake he asked if it was a Chocolate truffle cheese cake and that’s when he put the chocolate on top of the cake. I then explained that I had already paid for a raspberry cheesecake and he changed my order after the fact and he said no he did not that it was the delivery person that change the order . After going back-and-forth with Eric, which refused to take responsibility for his actions he then told me that he was the owner and that I could quote him when saying to F off. I wish I would have read the reviews about Eric and the way he treats his customers before placing this order. Eric does not care about customer service clearly, nor does he admit to his own faults.

We love this place! We’ve been going here weekly for a few months now and have yet to be disappointed. I get the California Chicken Salad and my daughter gets pizza. We also get their cheesecakes on occasion. It’s all so delicious and rather addicting!

First timers. Easy, local, family owned. I wasn't a fan of the calamari, but enjoyed everything else. Really good salad with a nice mix of ingredients. The trio of eggplant, chicken and veal was tasty. HUGE menu. Plenty of choices.

Their Pasta e fagiolii is the best! Don't You can get me started on the deserts. So so good. All homemade, You can buy it by the slice or you can order the whole cake for an occasion. I lalso happen to love the Fettuccine Bolognese. And don't forget the Garlic rolls!

Terrible pizza tonight! $26 for a medium pizza with 2 toppings. Requested extra sauce. I’m not sure we got any sauce. The pizza tasted like it was cooked hours before pick up. Like it was a no show and then heated up for me. I had 3 choices for a carry out pizza tonight, so next time it definitely will be another restaurant. Too bad. We’ve both been around for a long time!

Food was mediocre. Most of the meals went home for the dogs. Servers were pleasant but completely uninformed and had never tried items on the menu.

Garlic rolls were fresh and crusty, covered with Parmesan. Kids loved them. We had an extra large pizza and it didn’t seem all that extra large. It was a little pricey but really good. Kids say it’s their new favorite. Atmosphere is quiet - not a night out but a good place to take the kids for a bite. Service was attentive.

Food and Service is excellent. All dishes provide true Italian flavor and love. The staff takes great pleasure in serving their customers. You can enjoy wonderful food and service for yourself. I have been more than satisfied for the past several years. Try it for yourself. Dine in or Delivery provides the same quality food.

Very nice environment, insanely good food, and good amount for your buck. The music choice is excellent, and servers really have and make you have a great time. With occasional singing and dancing. Wish I could give 10 stars.
