Absolutely delicious light and filling waffles. We got a sweet and a savory and it was the perfect combo. Also a “whole waffle” is two 5x5” waffles and a “half” is one. Shops and sights to see as well, it being in the homestead heritage property. We’ll definitely be back :)

Very good food, workers were respectful, service was also good, and finally it was all good.

So we went for dinner. The building is clean and rustic. Bathrooms are in a building you go outside to get to attached to the side of the restaurant. They were also clean and updated decor. The decor was pretty in the main area and I liked the vibe. There was some items for sale too for "swag". There were people seated waiting on their food and one couple in front of us. I can see how this would quickly fill up on busy times. There is a picnic deck out back for seating. I had trouble reading the menu because my eyes are not great so I was able to get a printed one which helped a lot. They have some different choices. You order at the front counter, it is not table service traditionally but they do bring you the food to your table. I cleaned up our mess though and tossed all trash. Usually this goes with tipping as far as traditional table service. The owner guy was very nice. I smiled at some of the ladies and they didn't smile back though. The ladies at the red wagon actually talk to me and recognized us patronizing other parts of the homestead heritage over the years. It is nice to be a known customer. The man who said he was the owner was really nice and seemed personable. We were asked for a tip before service was given which I don't like at all at ANY establishment. Usually you tip based on service not on expectation. I did it because at the homestead and red wagon restaurants they are usually very great and attentive and the homestead restaurant is table service and they clean tables too. Tips in general are becoming expected in general so I really am not a fan of the expectation and like to see what service I get for the tip on top of the purchase price. I love the homesteads and we have been going there for years, like the red wagon bbq place and so on which seems tied to the waco waffle co. The whole property feels very safe. Parking was pretty full so we parked by the inn since we didn't know if grass parking was okay. We didn't want to be disrespectful. During ordering I asked for condiments to be left off my meal and they were not when brought to me. We explained that to the lady who brought the meal and it the bread was changed but a little was still on the sandwich it was fine a little isn't bad but there seemed to be communication mishap between ordering and the meal preparer. It was not a huge deal. The food choices were different not the same old stuff and I really appreciate that. The food was good and my teens loved the chicken. My autistic son who is incredibly picky liked their food too. We were told about a "deal" for free ice cream if you leave a review. My teens of course jump online before even eating and give a 5 star to get the free ice cream. After cleaning up from dinner we went to get ice cream and the cashier laughed when we said we were told about free ice cream with review. I guess she thought we were joking but on every single table the same information printed on a laminated table card so I don't know how she wouldn't be aware. We didn't get stickers or any swag either if this was an option instead of ice cream. I don't know what we are missing but ice cream was not free with reviews. My spouse was unhappy because the lady laughed and he didn't like how it was handled. Out of respect for the business owner, other customers, and him being respectful he said nothing but did ask why promised. He is not confrontational person and the lady just kept ringing it up anyway and took his card info. The owner was at a table working on a computer at this point with 2 other ladies so we didn't want to bother him. We really do try to be respectful to others. I'm sure we will give them another chance or more and update later. I liked the owner, I liked the location, I like the building and decor, and I liked the food. I don't like asking for tips before service at ANY establishment and I wish there was no communication issues on condiments and freebies. I think once the communication issues can get resolved it will be a great place to put in our eat out rotation.

Great place to take your family. Beautiful building, and good food. Was told to we would get free ice cream with each entree and we was charged for them. Changed to a 4 star. Owner refunded the money. It should have never happened considering not only did the promise come from the owners mouth but they have cards on the table that say it also.

You’re not going to find a neater place in Waco than Waco Waffle Co.. I probably eat here way more than I can afford, but I just can’t help it. Today I ordered the brisket salad, intending to get some of their homemade lemon frozen yogurt for desert(I seriously think I could eat a gallon of that stuff🤤), and as I was minding my own business enjoying my salad I was rudely interrupted with a free test drive of their new Neapolitan ice cream by the owner of the business(joking! totally not rude at all actually, love you Seth, thanks for the awesome ice cream!). Felt like a divine appointment 🤣 in all seriousness though, love the people, LOVE the food, makes me forget about all the good food back in LA where I come from… Sometimes 😉

The best waffles in this part of Texas. You do yourself a disservice if you pass up the opportunity to partake of this delicious homemade food. My wife and I had the University and Webster for a sweet treat, but first we had the Toasted Bagel with avocado instead of cream cheese.

This place is a go-to in my opinion. The staff are all super nice and friendly. The food was great! I ordered the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich with the turkey and it was DELICIOUS! I would def recommend. My son is a picky eater and he loved his waffle, and even the chicken off the classic waffle. The place is open and homey and has old country home vibes. We actually came in on the biggest, and busiest service they have had so far and they really did handle it with ease. 5/5 for me i definitely wanna come back! I think i just might come back in a couple hours to get some ice cream.

Beautiful place to enjoy a meal with friends and/or family (or even alone). The staff are all really nice, and smiling. Ive been there a few times and everytime we are greeted as we come through the door. I came to this location 2 days in a row, and both times were great. The food comes out pretty soon after ordering, and it is super yummy. My son is a picky eater and he loved his waffles both days, and even ate the fried chicken from "The Classic" waffle *chicken and waffles*! They also sell good orange juice and mocha milk (both are bottled at this location). They have a dish for everyone, even if you are gluten free. There are a few salad options, sandwiches, bagels, and even dessert. The jalapeño cheese waffle is super good, and i didn't notice any spice, but good flavor. I definitely suggest everyone trying this place at least once if you get the chance or are in the area.

Waco Waffle Company is Gem in the Country Side. Situated on beautiful farm, you don’t want to drive past without a stop. The pastrami breakfast sandwich in mouth watering Magic. The staff is always welcoming, smiling and cooking up a fantastic feast! The building is crafted of antique barn wood and the charm is above and beyond. You will not regret your stop!

The young lady who took our order was very nice and friendly. It took about half an hour for my husband and I to get our food after we ordered. I think the food is kind of pricey for what you get. My waffles were very small. They hardly put any sweet cream on top. Also, if they whipped their whipping cream themselves, it would take it to another level; instead, they used a low quality store bought whipped topping.

We absolutely loved their food. We met the owner and they have a wonderful family and everyone was so welcoming. We will definitely be back. Beautiful place. The best waffles!!!

I recently visited Waco Waffle Co and tried the "AUSTIN" waffle, which comes with lemon yogurt ice cream and a matcha drizzle. It was absolutely delightful! The combination of flavors was refreshing and unique. The presentation was pretty, and the overall vibe of the place was great. Highly recommend!

Urban diners and lunch spots have their work cut out for them because Waco Waffle Co combines a beautiful rustic atmosphere that reminds us of where we came from (the chairs, work attire, even the immaculate bathrooms) with absolutely delicious food that can make anyone break their diet. It’s set at a wonderful location in a farm market where you can shop and owned by a classic family man living the American & Texas dream

The food was exceptional! My husband couldn’t stop saying how good his food was. He wanted to take some home but we are 11/2 hrs. away and it might go bad. The food came out fast. The owner was very friendly. The outdoor seating was cozy and comfortable. They have ceiling fans! There is an area under the trees with picnic tables and games for the kids and grown ups alike.

We held our company-wide lunch here today. Although we were a crowd of 20, the service was prompt and flawless. While we waited for the whole team to arrive, some enjoyed competitive games of corn hole. The food was delicious and everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommend for your next get together!

I have been eating breakfast waffles here for a while. Waffles are outstanding, service is perfect, staff are the most polite, attentive, great to be around. Lunch is also great. Really good sandwiches and really quick when I’m on the run. Now here for the first time for Pizza dinner. Can’t wait. Hi gf Lu recommend the Waco Waffle Co. You won’t be disappointed!!!! The BEST waffle and ice cream shop in Waco. They have a nice variety of sweet and savory options and the service fast and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and laid back with board games and outdoor games available. It’s a great place to take your family to relax and visit. Can’t wait to make another trip there when we visit Waco again.

Loved my experience here! Had no problem with parking. Greeted immediately as we walked it. The menu had a variety to choose from and they happened to have exactly what I was craving. It was a peaceful breakfast and I’m hoping to go back again to experience the outside seating.

We went for a mother/daughter outing. Excellent choice! The food was beyond excellent with so many waffles to choose from sweet to savory to traditional. The service was superb from the moment we walked in the door. And, the atmosphere was perfect for a nice, relaxing time visiting with each other. We sat outside which was perfect! Highly recommend & can’t wait to go back!

Staff is very inviting and friendly. Really enjoyed our time there. My wife and I split the Brisket Grilled Cheese and the Bagby (pretty much peaches and cream on a waffle. They were both amazing. Ice coffee could have been stronger and the waffles could have been crispier but we will definitely be back.

Today me and my Daughter had breakfast at the Waco Waffle Co !! We shared a BLT and a Strawberry and Nutella waffle. That waffle was SO pretty, SO fresh and SO delicious 🥰, lol!! I loved the BLT and I could have eaten a whole one! Then went to The Homestead Heritage Cafe and enjoyed some pretty and delicious coffees and bought some items from their store. It was fun! ❤️ Check it out!! Like and Follow their page. We will definitely be back !! It was a great experience.

This was a very beautiful place, the food was amazing, and the service was awesome! My husband and I took my dad there a few months ago, and we can't wait to be able to come back and try out other new menu items.

It is not well advertised when you’re there - but they can make their waffles gluten free - and bonus - they’re delicious!!! Having actual options at a restaurant completely overwhelmed me honestly. I tried mine and a few friends different options and they were all amazing. It’s for the best that I don’t live too close…

We stopped to stay the night in Waco before the long drive home, and coupons were in the airb&b. I am so glad we stopped by! Amazing place and one I would drive another 8 hours for! Service was great, food was amazing! We love dining out on the patio and even played some games while we waited for our food!

Arrived at about 830 and placed our order. Was told they were making coffee. Our food arrived and still no coffee. Then was told the breaker was tripped and there would be no coffee. Was told we could have a cold drink No refund for the $3.50 each coffee or even offered one. Please train then in better customer service
