Professional staff. Food was served timely! Just great all around!

Nice place for Breakfast , During the weekend you need to cater for some time for waiting , other than this highly recommended .

Ordered thru app. Estimated pick up time was 38 minutes, more than enough time for a few Waffles and hashbrowns. Showed up 40 minutes later, and then waited another 20 minutes for the order. Didn't see any warning while ordered, I always tip cash, but they add 20% to ToGo orders

When we arrived it was very busy. We hadn’t even sat down when Trish was the rudest waitress I have ever seen in my life. She told us to go stand by the door instead of standing by a table to be cleaned . She was super hateful. We sat at a different table with an Asian (Fire) server who was absolutely Great!! So thankful we didn’t have to deal with Hateful Trish through our whole breakfast. Thank you Fire for a pleasant breakfast. If you visit this restaurant , I encourage you to not set at Trish’s table 👎🏻

Service was great, food was good. I would come back again next time we’re in town. My wife had the breakfast bowl and I got the all star. Everything came out as expected.

Went to restroom to wash hands before ordering food. No soap or dispenser in bathroom. Cook either doesn’t wash hands after going to bathroom, or holds it his whole shift and washes at home, I suspect the former. Waitress seemed confused when I notified her. Obviously I did not stick around to order any food. Made report to health inspector. Gross.

The service was great and our order came freaky fast!!! There was 10 of us at 3 tables and everyone was satisfied.

It is run down on the exterior and almost the same inside as well. Not the most pleasant place to dine as far as smell goes either. It had the stench of a moldy, wet mop and the grits tasted like that mop water!The waitress was sick as a dog and could barely hold herself up. The cook did not get the egg order correctly and the waffles were half-done. We should have driven a mile or two down the road to a nicer facility.

Star ratings are based on the fact that it is a Waffle House and are not necessarily comparable to a generalized scale. This is a perfectly acceptable Waffle House. Recommended (as are all Waffle Houses).

Had a great breakfast there this morning. Our server was a very friendly and attentive fellow with an accent, maybe filipino? The bacon and eggs were perfectly prepared. Best grits I've had in ages. And served in minutes. Highly recommend.

I’ve never really cared for Waffle House in my younger years but decided to give it a try this morning with my husband and we were blown away. Friendliest staff and delicious hot food. Tim was amazing! He really went above and beyond and gave us a positive and blessed mindset to take on the rest of our morning. Thanks, Tim! The world needs more people like you.

It's a shame that the waffles are so amazing but the service is so bad TIM took so long to take our order and then we waited an hour to eat the worst thing was that he told us about a discount on the bill and we ended up paying in full a terrible experience!

My husband's plates were perfect! My steak was overcooked, they recooked and was undercooked. My eggs, over medium, one was perfect one was undercooked. Hailey was a great server!

Been eating at Waffle House all my life this was the best waffle I've ever had hands down. Very friendly staff. Ate here twice on our vacation along with other expensive restaurants nearby. You can't beat good ole waffle house.

Unfortunately, I didn't eat my food as this was the 2nd time and 2nd waffle house to have a couple of foreign hair's in my food the did not charge me for the eggs but I st couldn't eat with the thought of eating someone's hair.

Trish was our server who was a delightful person who helped with our order. Seeing as this was our first time here at the Destin florida Waffle House. While our Breakfast was being prepared met Tim who also was very Cheerful Gentleman as he fill my coffee mug we exchanged greeting I showed them some pictures . I highly recommend this Waffle House everyone was Cheerful our Breakfast was full filling, as we were very happy with the price, the workers were Cheerful to talk too, we will tell our friends who live or will visit to go there and eat.

I have a lot to say! For starters, there's not a single unpleasant staff member in this entire restaurant. Every single person we spoke to was a-maz-ing! Right of the bat, Jupiter greeted us at the door and was very attentive of the order everyone came in. There was a small wait, but incredibly miniscule in comparison to any other restaurant around. They make you move quick, but not in an abrasive or rude way. Your check is ready for you by the time you're done. The food is good in a way that makes you want to eat quick so everyone else can enjoy it too lol! Our waiter Trish was very polite and attentive, and careful about my dietary restrictions. Tim, who wasn't even our waiter, seemed to guide this very open and excitable attitude to the restaurant. He practically made friends with anyone who opened the door, including us. I know this is a strange review to leave a waffle house, but this place deserves it. Especially in a tourist area like the beach where you meet a lot of abrasive people. This is a nice refresh of friendly and sweet people. 10/10!

Thursday morning, Spring Break, the place is packed. Tim is hostessing and waiting tables, cracking jokes, laughing, and killing it. He's not even the manager, but he sure represents management well! This man is on fire.

Food was fine, the cook the night we visited was a a$$hole almost mopped the floor with him.

Wanted a quick bite, and we went in and was served in record time.

Food was pretty good but waitress complained about her health and ailments the whole time. Kinda depressing. And didn't give me syrup or to-go utensils with my to-go pancake.

I’m very happy we decided to stop here on our way out of town. Tim was our server and he was amazing. There is something about him… he is very kind and hard working. He told everyone God bless you as they were leaving and honestly it is refreshing to hear. Everyone working there worked hard and didn’t stop the whole time we were there. If we ever come back we will definitely come back and I pray Tim will still be there!! Good job!

We don’t visit Waffle House expecting to have a five star dining experience, but I can say that our most recent visit to this location was delightful. Our waitress, Sunshine, was one of the kindest and most hospitable servers that we have ever had. She made sure that we were taken care of from start to finish and her smile and positive attitude were contagious. On top of that, the cook was efficient and the food tasted great. Overall, it was a surprisingly wonderful and memorable experience and if we are ever in the area again we will make it a point to come back to this location.

Hey, it's Waffle House. Since we don't have these in the Midwest we look forward to them while traveling. Only disappointment was that my wife's favorite, cheesy scrambled eggs, are no longer on the menu. Store was clean and service prompt and pleasant. Don't think I'd had a burger before; deluxe Angus bacon burger was well-assembled and tasty.

Uncomfortably cold in the building. Was during a cold snap, but still unreasonable.

Great place to stop. Staff was really really welcoming. And I only ordered coffee but they made me feel so at home that I ended up staying to get dinner. I'll be coming back

My husband and I ate here lastnight (11-25-2022 7:00pm). I wish I could remember our servers name but he was the only employee there other than a cook. And he busted his butt and worked the job of 4 people and still managed to keep a smile on his face we weren't able to finish our drinks before getting a refill. He was so kind and polite, never complained once that he was the only server in a full and chaotic restaurant. He is an asset to your company and deserves recognition for the hard work everyone in that restaurant witnessed. I've never felt more welcome and appreciative for the service I recieved. Best waffle house employee ive ever met. Food was good too, as always.

Place was VERY disgusting. Every table was dirty and sticky and we had to seat ourselves and clean it up. They literally came and started dumping scraps in a trash can right up against our table. The cook and waitress were very nice but we probably won't return due to the uncleanness of the entire place.

We ate at Waffle House 788 in Miramar Beach FL! We had the privilege of getting served by Ms. Sunshine Karen! She was amazing and made it a great experience for our large group with kids. The food and service were both fantastic! Thank you for making our last morning in FL memorable.

Today’s visit 10/8/22 that featured filth, disgusting behaviors by staff and piled up cold, burnt food has solidified the fact that I will never eat at Waffle House #788 in Miramar Beach ever again. Saw staff arguing in front of customers, a cook eat food off a plate in the dishwasher area by the counter, server licking fingers then touching food on plate before serving it, (saw no one ever wash their hands), sticky counter as they only go through the motion to wipe it off, and a totally worthless manager standing around doing nothing that resembled any sort of customer service or cleanliness. Out of control filthy, disgusting chaos that resulted in the worst breakfast ever. Our expectations of Waffle House are minimal, but this was beyond imagination. We are local and promise you, will never return.

service was the worst ive had at any waffle house i get it its the awful waffle but i love there food so i base it on service and i was very disappointed she even brought items that we didnt order to our table i even told her and she still left them i didnt eat them then she tried to charge me for them my lady ordered a coke she brought a tea just disappointed and she had her fingers in my food it was just wrong

The team work was impressive! Was busier than heck still gave great sevice and food was great. Definitely need a bigger restaurant for the amount of customers they have.

I last visited this Waffle House several years ago. I have not been back until very recently as the prior several experiences were not good. The most recent visit was different. There is a different staff. The "queen bee" that appeared to be previously intimidating the staff and customers was gone. The result is a friendlier atmosphere and better food. Waffle House, for those who may not be familiar with the chain, is a basic, no-frills restaurant. My usual meal there is breakfast. It is open 24 hours. Staffing must be a problem. With the labor participation rate hitting a 50-year low recently, there are fewer people applying for jobs. Waffle House is trying hard to get more applicants and, obviously paying more than they used to as a result of inflation and a labor shortage. (See the ad for applications in the photos.) Having been at a Waffle House at different times, a Waffle House can be a tough job. Some customers are unpleasant—or even nasty, mean and looking for a fight. Some take delight in intimidating young, female servers who are probably working hard to make ends meet. Take a look at some of the videos of fights posted on the Internet in Waffle Houses in places like Atlanta. Most would be hesitant or just afraid to work where these events can take place. "Sunshine" was the server today when I sat down. She was pleasant, made sure the order was entered correctly and filled as ordered. She also brought out a second cup of coffee quickly. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. On prior visits, the store was not clean. There were some crumbs on some booths today when I sat down but much cleaner than previously. Sunshine noticed there was water on the surface of my table and she brought a dry rag to clean it off. In short, the food was good, the server was pleasant and efficient, and the restaurant was clean. It is also an inexpensive place to eat—one reason there are often family groups in the restaurant for breakfast.

We had to wait forever to be seated and when we did get seated we waited for over 40 minutes and then we waited another 10 minutes still nothing so we left

Went there at around 12am. Only customers in there. While we placed our order the cook went outside to vape. He came back inside and started cooking our food with washing or sanitizing his hands. My husband had to ask him to.

We are from out of town. It's 4 pm. No customers I'm house. 2 employees outside. The lady told our party of 5, with a tiny attitude that we couldn't take out because she just had a big rush, so we could only dine in. We wanted to take our food back to our Airbnb, not eat in. Waffle House please add more employees so they won't be over worked, sitting outside. What your employee said was totally ridiculous especially with an empty restaurant. The Bells!

Zero if I could...wish I could rate the food but never got that far. 7 people stacked behind the bar. We sat at counter but must have had our invisible cloak on as we sat for 10 minutes and had no acknowledgement silverware or coffee. Just blank stares. So after 10 minutes of being ignored we debated leaving but stayed because everyone has bad days. But and however, when one of the staff ordered another get someone off the toilet, that was our sign to get hell up otta the awful waffle. Worst crew I've ever seen.

Terrible!!! Walk in the establishment @10:31 & by 10:44 walked out because no the waitress did not make an attempt to take my order. The establishment was not crowded at all. One table near the bar were already having their breakfast, one table near the highway window were about ready to pay and other table also near highway window were about to get served with their. Behind the bar was the duty manager along with a waitress, two ladies washing dishes and the lady with the red polo shirt was to clean tables. All these employees saw me sitting there by table as you walk in the entrance but were rather to busy discussing their working schedule. It is not if my appearance was that of a homeless person. My was very professional. Also the lady cleaning tables did a very job on the tables due to the fact that my was so sticky from syrup.
