This place is SO good. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is really nice, and most importantly, the food is WONDERFUL! I've never had a meal I didn't love here.

Consistency. I have been coming to Wasabi for over ten years and have never had a bad experience. The owners and family are the nicest and friendliest people. The food is always top notch and the service superb. I can always count on Wasabi for a great meal.

Felt like this was a “hidden gem!” My husband and I ate there for the first time and it was great! We had the hibachi chicken and steak and it was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Unassuming exterior, but very warm and friendly once you get inside. Staff were lovely and the food was much better than I've had at similar sushi joints in town. Attention to detail and presentation was much appreciated as well. Now I just have to be careful not to stop in every time I need to go to walmart 😅

Good place to get Japanese and Chinese food. Food was good, had flavor, price was okay for what it is. They have a large menu with a wide variety of options to pick from. Bento box looked pretty good.

Food was delicious, service just right, atmosphere was nice, not too loud for conversation and we will definitely go back to try new items.

Mediocre at best. The sushi roll wouldn't even hold together it was wrapped so poorly. Honestly the grocery store down the street had better form with their rolls which is pretty sad. I was disappointed with this place. Not sure how the ratings are so high.

This is a nice quiet place to get good sushi. I didn't care much for the squid salad because it was a bit too fishy. We got excellent service while there.

I just LOVE Wasabi Sushi! Service is good and food is always wonderful. I could eat there several times a week if I lived in Hattiesburg. The only bad thing I could say is location can be hard to get in and out of due to all the traffic coming and going from Sam's and Walmart and the steep driveway.

Foods always great! The only issue we had was the waitress/owner was in the corner back booth eating and smacking soooooooo loud!!! It grossed my husband and I out.

It’s edible. That’s all. If you’re looking for sushi that lacks in taste, come here. If you want real sushi, however, go to sky sushi. This just isn’t as good.

I was pleasantly surprised. Ihonestly went thinking it was going to be bad but the food was real good and dun well vary nice and clean inside my wife and I were super pleased

The salad and soup weren't all that great. However, as I've heard, the sushi was very, very good. The tuna tartar appetizer was delicious with just the right amount of kick to it. We got the love boat for two which I felt was a great value and very high quality.

Friendly but has to wait on food but it was Short period wasn't bad for all the food they made to order fresh.

We were a little concerned because we did not see any recent reviews, but very happy with our choice. Wasabi Sushi was very clean and the staff friendly. We had the California Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Tropical Roll ( our favorite), New Orleans Roll, and super Amazing Roll. All of the rolls tested great and prices reasonable. We will remember this place the next time are in Hattisburg.

It had amazing food and service.

Sushi was great, there isnt a long wait time, and they bring the food right out to you. If your bringing a significant other I suggest the love boat for two. They are very professional and they treat you like a well deserved customer.

"Let's go to the best place in Hattiesburg to get sushi." my colleague said as she drove us into town. As some who does not like sushi, I had my guard up! She added that they also had hibachi grill food. My guard went down a little! She thoroughly enjoyed her sushi as I ordered the hibachi steak dinner. The egg drop soup was alright. Our food came out quickly. Although my hibachi steak was a little overcooked (I asked for medium), it was good. They served relatively large portions of rice and vegetables with their hibachi steak. I would most likely go with her again.

I love this restaurant more and more each time I visit! I've only visited 4 times in the last week alone! ;) The restaurant is EXTREMELY clean! (a nice change from my former favorite sushi spots in Hattiesburg who've let their nasty carpet collect more yuckiness and chunks of trash than I'd care to walk on anymore) Service here is very friendly and attentive! Sushi is SPECTACULAR! No joke! It tastes fresh and is always consistent. Favorites....Marble Roll, Crazy Tuna Roll.

Don't let the strange parking lot and basic metal shopping center facade fool you, this is some top notch sushi!

I enjoy dining here. The restaurant is always clean. It's typically quiet and relaxing, minus the occasional loud arguing that occurs between the sushi chef and the waitress. Lots of yelling, then things seem to calm down and get back on track. Kind of strange, but it's happened during a few visits. Beyond that, the food is EXCELLENT! The sushi always tastes fresh. The employees are super friendly. Overall, I love this restaurant!

Very nice place to enjoy some sushi! Very Clean, easy parking, located in front of Sams . I would say service is just ok with that said the sushi is awesome! So an ok trade off. Prices are not too also. Everything was fresh. Enjoy!

There have been so many sushi places open up in town, it's actually shocking. This is South Mississippi, you know. Wasabi Sushi is one of my favorite from the crowd. The staff is very helpful to cut through the menu and help pick the rolls and dishes you want. Most "sushi" places have 100 different ways to make a California roll. Thank goodness this is not one of those. We have always enjoyed eating here and have never had a bad meal. Refreshing place. It may be hard to miss, they are right in front of SAMS Club on the right. You have to look for the neon . . .

This restaurant is super clean. Very friendly wait staff - not overly bothersome (compared to many other Hattiesburg restaurants). And the food.... Amazing! Very fresh tasting! I started with the typical Garden Salad. The lettuce was fresh. The ginger dressing was excellent and mild-flavored. I also ordered Hot Sake. Yummy! I ordered the daily special, "Marble Roll", similar to the "summer Roll" on the menu, but with less avocado. It was delicious! I mean really, really delicious! I've already notified friends and family that this is our new dining spot for sushi!

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and the customer service is even better. The tuna tartar is a must! The sweetest family runs it and they've become such sweet friends of ours.

They have the freshest sushi, and friendly staff who always remember your name and preferences. All of their dishes are consistently high quality. They have a large variety of sushi rolls and each day have a specialty roll that never disappoints. The appetizers are excellent. I think I have tried most all of them.

Always have great service! Staff is friendly and accommodating. If your favorite roll isn't on the menu it's no problem because they'll make it for you. Sushi always taste fresh and is delicious! The atmosphere is family friendly and inviting. Definitely recommend!

We have really started to enjoy sushi over the last few years, and sometimes we get a craving for those delicious rolls of goodness. Wasabi Sushi successfully satisfied our sushi craving and did so without breaking the budget. Some sushi places are super expensive, although they also tend to have a lot of specialty sushi. Wasabi Sushi had a few specialty rolls, but we went with the basic, and werent disappointed.

Great customer service, friendly staff, calming atmosphere. Wasabi is family owned and operated, and the owners are so sweet. I love coming here! I highly recommend the General Tso's chicken. Wasabi Sushi has been around for as long as I can remember, but I never visited until my husband started working at a neighboring store. This restaurant is amazing! I call in to-go orders all the time on my way home. And my husband and I eat lunch there occasionally. I eat here probably 5-6 times per month.

Even though they don't have a table...they have the best place & price for habatchi. Lunch prices are even better. Good value good food bad location!
