Went here on Tuesday July 16th 2024 with my parents for lunch on our newport Rhode Island Vacation. We walked in and needed a few minutes to decide what we wanted. Cashier helped us right away and was very nice. We ordered via dine in to sit down and eat our meals. we ordered 3 classic chicken sandwiches, the honey bbq chicken, and 1 medium triple berry frosty, and a chocolate frosty medium. We paid via credit card. The honey bbq chicken and frostys were ready fast. The chicken sandwiches took a while (like maybe 20 minutes?), and luckily we had the honey bbq chicken to eat while we waited. However, at least the chicken sandwiches were nice and hot when they were finally ready. Tables were clean, and chairs were comfortable. we all enjoyed our food. i enjoyed the new triple berry frosty!

Food was cold tables place was dirty had a bike in side store unsanitary

Very nice place. Came here for lunch. I got a fish sandwich, fries, and an orange creamsicle frosty. The sandwich was fresh and crunchy, the fries were delicious and warm, and the orange frosty was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It’s like heaven in your mouth. Would recommend that item to everyone reading this. The inside area of the place was nice, and they had calming music. At the time, it wasn’t very busy. Would come back here again. :)

Language problem at the register English seam to be hard for the servic person to understand

I just got 2 of the oldest breakfasts I’ve ever gotten. Practically stone cold and the English muffins on my girlfriends and my sandwich literally broke a part when we took a bite of them. We can’t eat this garbage and I tried calling their land line phone. The message I got was this cell phone caller can’t be reached at this time. I’m not driving 12 minutes each way to complain. This isn’t the first time their food was old. It wasn’t the second, or third, or fourth, or fifth time. It happens fairly often and I’m sick of it. The board of health needs to pay this place a visit. They’re guidelines to selling food. Wendy’s breaks every one of them.

The app glitched out and said that I had paid but didn't send it over to the location and then the manager on duty at the time mouth off and said oh this is the last time we're doing it even though it clearly showed that the food was paid for and they didn't want to give it to me because it didn't show up on their end

Breakfast was good, had a sausage egg and cheese on an English with an iced coffee and pull apart roll. Lady at the drive thru was really nice.

It's always hit or miss, sometimes we get everything we order sometimes we don't.

I received my bacon double through Uber Eats and there was no meat, just buns and condiments. Utter fail and it cost me $28 to eat a dinner of fries and a Coke.

I frequent this wendy’s all the time and for the first time ever I got lied to and my food taken back as a consequence. They got half the order wrong and half the food is cold. I ordered a 1 French toast stick and 1 cinnabon pull apart two minutes after breakfast and the guy at the window ended up letting us have it. When we get to the window we are then informed that there are no cinnabon pull apart left. Our order decreases by like $8 so they technically charged us for 2. Then a woman gives us our food and it has 2 cinnabon pull aparts the rest of our food without the coffee and burger. She then demands our cinnabon pull apart back without giving us our card and we’re saying we thought they were out. she’s not listening to us or the other employee at that initially served us when we’re trying to say we will pay for it. at this point we think she just wanted the last two for herself. then she served us cold coffee and a cold burger. worst fast food experience ever.

Service here is absolutely horrible. I would never say anything to them I know it's hard job and it's hard to get help but this is not acceptable.

had to wait for food once to find out they forgot part of our order went bavk to get the rest the worker threw the food in a bag and gave attitude. tried calling before going back for the employees to hang up the phone

February fourteenth Should not have to listen to the f-bomb 2 or 3 times through the drive Through speaker. As I'm trying to order my food. Co-workers in the background f bombing this and if bombing that.

So we placed an order at 12:00, two meals and a kids meal and when I got there they "had a tough time finding the order". They made me wait until about 12:50 a.m. just to tell me they decided they're going to make my order which I thought was awesome and I thanked them and was appreciative only to find out that yes, they made the burgers fresh but they swept the nuggets that they gave me and my wife off the floor. I only know because of the next day as I went to eat some leftover nuggets and there were leaves and floor debris in the platter that the guy at the window gave me I don't trust these people now..

This is a nice Wendy’s. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. I pulled into this Wendy’s’s drive-thru and waited in a short line before ordering a batch of large French fries. I then drove up to the pick up window, grabbed my fries, and left. These fires tasted pretty good. They were salty and crispy. I gave this Wendy’s five stars because they have tasty french fries.

Had very mixed results for attempted ordering at this Wendy's. Good help is hard to find, which seems to be evident here. Unfortunately, it's the only local location, so you get what you get. Don't take my word for it. Read some reviews. I've personally waited over 40 minutes in drive- thru line to be told they don't have the nuggets I had ordered. Zero empathy or care from the server. I'm sure this could be a great location. And that not all of the staff are the same, but it might be worthwhile finding a few new friendly and qualified attendants.

I ordered a number 9. Ghost pepper chicken sandwhich. I got a ranch club. I confirmed what I wanted when the guy asked me if I wanted spicy chicken which was weird. I told him of course. It's a spicy sandwhich, to which he replied no, only the sauce is spicy. I thought he was new so I shrugged. They forgot my drink but I was able to get their attention and they gave it to me. The sandwhich I didn't see was wrong until I got home. They also didn't give me my receipt, so I wasn't even able to give a survey and complain! Probably all their employees are stoned or something.

Always good when they get the order right...they got it right!

Why is a Baconator not being made rifht come in and told person twice my cheese a melted whennthis came out had nacho cheese on it not sheddar i will be going very deep with this one im tired of paying my hard working money to a place cant even get my order right.

Ordered door dash well before they closed, waited an obscene amount of time(delivery guy was there) and they still didn't make the food. They ended up cancelling my order well after an hour of waiting. It'll be a long time before I go here again. It's a shame because I really liked Wendy's. Remember people, vote with your dollars. Don't use establishments that deliver poor products or services. Shame on you Wendy's. I expect better from you.

Usually the normal we get at Wednesday's and this time this place got the order right. A lot of times we have really simple orders cheeseburger with lettuce, mustard and mayo and the other cheeseburger lettuce, tomato, mayo but they seem to always get it wrong. This place got it right fresh fries and it tasted great thank you!

Cashier was very rude and waited 10 minutes just to order and kept saying how he wishes the door will get locked so no customers come in, oh and let's not forget the constant cussing. Do NOT go here

DO NOT GO TO THIS WENDY'S Cannot recommend avoiding this Wendy's more. ALWAYS have to wait AT LEAST 5-10 minutes to order even when going inside and their not busy. Workers seem to never care. Stopped by at 3:55 and left at 4:10 without ordering. In addition to taking forever NO ONE was wearing hair nets or had hair away or anything. I doubt that's their only health code violation.

Still can't beat the 4 for $4 for easy fast food.

9/25/23 girl working on window was rude, and argumentative with me for no reason. No one wants that at 9am!

Normally love Wendys back home but never had their breakfast. Sooo, on vacation decided to try breakfast in Newport RI. Horrible.....first you would think they never saw a mixed race couple. The woman at the window didn't say a word to us...even when my husband continually said pls and ty after saying good morning. I had French toast sticks that almost dripped in grease. My husband had a sandwich that had a slime on it that we think was supposed to be cheese. Hope we don't get sick. Wendys- you should be ashamed. FOLLOW-UP: yup, my husband got sick!

Was trying to pick up food to deliver to a customer. Inside is closed at 8(what a joke) and when I went to drive thru a female with a Spanish accent who spoke broken English gave me attitude because she couldn’t understand me. I have nothing to lose. You do with this review, lmfao!!! You will probably lose money on this order while I will continue to make money. There’s a reason why you work where you work but with your attitude, you probably won’t be there much longer. I will never go back until she’s gone!!! She is embarrassing for your company and she will lose you money like tonight!

Fries were cold and had to ask for another batch. The second batch tasted awful because the grease had not been changed out. Burger was cold and drink was tastless...tasted mostly like soda water. Plus they didn't have my flavor had to order another flavor.

My salad was wilted and lettuce brown. The bathroom dirty.

Wanted to give a shoutout to the employee named Dashawn at the front counter. We were in the store during a very busy period, and he was extremely kind, professional, and helpful.

Great salads. Baked potato w a bowl of chili and cheese poured over it - a favorite.

Place smelled really bad like urine. Had to return a couple of cups because they were either wet (from a leaking a.c. above the counter) or because there were hairs on them. Food tasted ok, hope I don't get sick!

You know things have gotten bad when I am going out of my way to write a review about a fast food joint. This is the worst establishment I have ever seen, going on 5+ years of horrible service, wrong orders, and rude employees. You're better off eating dirt.

By far the worst service from any fast food place. More than half the time they will not take your order at the drive thru window and just watch from the window as you drive away after waiting 5 minutes for them to respond at the ordering machine. Despicable management worst Wendy’s I’ve been to.

They wouldn’t serve us at 11:30 even though their hours go through midnight. The operator stated that the kitchen would refuse to serve our order. Very disappointed!!

Got the 4 for 4. All my food was cold. But the sweet tea was great.

Fries are always barely hot and apple pecan salad has too many non edible pieces of bitter lettuce. Drive thru staff is quick and friendly

Got home to discover that my drive thru order was completely wrong - not even close to what I ordered. Guy in the window barely grunted at me. I should have taken that as a sign to check the bag. And the burger I did get was very sloppily made.

Be patient. Check your food before you leave the lot. Approach with joy and you may be surprised it is returned in kind here.

So glad the inside diner is open now. Drive thru only during pandemic. Long lines and long waits.

The Wendy's on Aquidneck Island is a joke, save your money!!! Awful customer service, poor quality compared to other locations, and an overall disappointment. It's sad that I have to drive off island to get good Wendy's, but I would rather do that than waste my money at a location that obviously doesn't care about it's standards.

Horrible experience went thru drive thru today, my order was completely wrong with a super spicy taste on q hamburger that is not supposed to be spicy at all, called the store never answer the phone.

The burgers were great. It sucks when Is day don't remember to put the sauces in for the chicken nuggets

The staff girl who toke my order(didn’t wear a name tag and had pink hair) was rude over the intercom and keep slamming the window and threw my food at me.

Stopped in with 30 kids during lunch time and the staff was professional, and got their orders out as quick as they could. Clean dining room. Thank you.

I got banned from this establishment because I returned my cold food. The manager stated I was not allowed to return. Simply because I would not drive up to wait ETERNALLY for a hot meal. I was refused service and my money was returned. All I said was "I'm just waiting for a hot meal".

I enjoy Wendy's Chicken sandwiches, hamburgers and frenchfries much more than Mickey D's. Jus' sayin'.

25% of the time the staff is polite and makes my order the way it should be made. The other 75% of the time my order is made sloppy, burger is cold, get robbed on fry quantity, dont get requested sauces and the staff is rude or passive. With limited options on the island for fast food I chose here and am often disappointed with the service.

ordered online for drive thru pick up, when we pulled up they told us to go inside, then had to wait 20 minutes to get our order and fill up our own drinks lol

They were the best chicken nuggets from Wendy’s I’ve ever eaten and the fries were salted really well and hot and the sprite was awesome. Just didn’t get napkins but no biggie.

Doors always locked at 8pm or as early as 5pm or whenever they’re “short staffed” it’s annoying. I have to pick up food and wait in long line drive through. Horrible

Ordered two meals with sprites, and two frostys. Didn’t get a fry with one of the meals, got ginger ale and not sprite, and got no straws or spoons. Oh yeah, he also seemed stoned out of his mind.

I’m not a huge Wendy’s fan but this location is exceptional! They’re always quick, friendly, and my order is always right and tastes great.

Quality conol is declining. Ordered a baked ppotato with cheese bacon. Got one with chives. ;(. Salad pecan /apple. I asked for extra pecans. Received 2 packets of almonds. Sure would be nice if the employees actually listened, instead they were flirting and playing around. Not sure if I'll order again. Very dissapointed.

I ordered a frosty tonight and I woke up hours later with very BAD stomach cramps. You know what happened after that…This has never happened to me before when I had their frostys… they probably didn’t clean the machine or something because I can’t think of another reason why this would happen. I’m not lactose intolerant.

25 mins in the drive up is excessive. They do not greet you, so you're left wondering if they're open sitting 10 plus mins at the speaker with nobody saying a word.

Hands down the worst Wendy's, ever. We got up to the drive through intercom and we were asked to wait a moment, which of course is never a problem. We were then sitting there so long that cars behind us started beeping like crazy, and everyone knows nobody does that in a drive through unless it's really an unreasonable wait time. When we finally got to the window we saw a bunch of teenage boys rough housing and moving as slow as molasses! Laughing, joking, literally totally causing the back up. The straw that broke the camel's back had to of been the fact that my food was cold and my drink was warm. Just terrible. Do not recommend.

Wendy’s has one of the better rewards programs with the app, and every month there is a breakfast promo such as 99¢ coffee, or a 1$ biscuit. The food is good for what it is and the associates are very friendly.

This branch drive through is one the worst. They always close 11:30pm instead of 12am. And never give right order.

Wait time is ALWAYS long. 730pm, 3 cars before me, 22 minutes wait till reach pick up window. Don't know is problem workers or process? Ridiculous

I drive for doordash and I have had multiple orders for Wendy’s and I tried to go in and the door was locked (just assumed they didn’t have in door dining) then I drive to the drive-thru and the women gave me so much attitude and said they were closed and it was not even 10 yet. I thought they were open till 1

Over $9 for a single and a large fry. Both which must have been sitting around for a while. Avoid this eatery!!!

They took so long to get food out they got a line of parked cars. This was outrageous and they still didn't get the order right. They weren't even trying the dude that was serving us was talking to his friends and other cars. 10/10 don't recommend.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s. And honestly, a mediocre one. Not bad, just not doing good things with the set of tools they’ve been given.

Wendy’s is probably one of the better fast food chains around, and they’re usually pretty good with the orders. The slow wait time isn’t this particular store’s fault as this location is very popular and they tend to get overrun with customers (we could probably use another location on the island). My main complaint is with that one evening shift guy with the short hair who always wears a gaiter masks (usually under his nose). He is so incredibly rude, never remembers the sauce, and never tells you if there’s another bag coming.

Drive thru was slow but my order was correct.

In Seekonk Massachusetts have better stuff the Newport they really need more stuff and up day Latroner and clothing............every else is good......

I go here for a quick burger fix bacon cheesburger with a drink which by the way is free (the drink) if you are a Sr.citizen. the place is always clean and the staff friendly.good parking in front. quality of the burger is better than most fast food places. a nice place for the family to go for a low cost meal.

food is a heart attack on a box, but they cook it true to the recipes. the drive through is the last place open to grab a bite in the area and the stuff is super friendly despite the looong line of cars.

Drive-thru only. You'll be waiting a while it isn't fast but the customer service was very nice and I think they're just under staffed.
