I've been a loyal customer of Wen's for many years now. Their poke bowls are absolutely phenomenal! I haven't found any other place that can measure up to their quality and taste. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and the owners are always friendly and kind. A++++++!

This is the best Asian food I have had since living in a major city on the west coast. Fresh great food made to order. Limited menu which is great because what they do they do perfect. It’s hidden in the plaza with Uhaul and I am so happy I found it. Nice people super clean place and the food is out of this world so fresh and tasty. I will be back!

I went here thinking it was a regular sushi restaurant but it looks like post pandemic they switched to mainly poke bowls with a few appetizer options. The food was outstanding, fresh and delicious. While the place was a bit cramped for eating in person, I would definitely recommend doing takeout.

I didnt know what Asian fusion was but this place was highly recommended by my daughter. You pick your own ingredients off the menu. Didnt know what to pick but I tried white rice/chicken topped with tomato, pineapple, mandarin orange, cilantro, spicy mayo. Sounds weird, right? Wonderful and unique. Oh, yeah and the whole dinner was 12 bucks. Cant wait to go back.

Okay, so I have to say that I have become addicted to their Poke Bowls. It's a dish originating from Hawaii and starts with a base layer of rice, which you then add proteins amongst other toppings to complete your meal. It is extremely customizable to your taste and exceptionally filling! Their ScallionPancakes are fantastic, although I do wish that they would include more for the price of $4.50. I would even pay $5-6 for another pancake worth, rather than having to order a whole other appetizer. The Taro Pancakes are similar in style to the Scallion Pancakes, but with the sweet taste of taro root. They also include a sweet soy cause to dip it in, which is a combination of sweet and salty that just hurts your palette perfectly. I would definitely recommend you try this place out, it will be worth your while!

I am in shock as I write this review. Never thought I would rate this place with 1 star since I order from there weekly. My husband and I love their bowls and rave about them to everyone. We literally order from them multiple times a week. However today when my husband went in to order the owner came out and insulted him called him a Dog and said that they cant do business with dogs. He would not give him any explanation as to why he was refusing him business. My husband was in total shock and saddened and angered by his his response and felt discriminated against. He kept on yelling and insulting him and asking him to leave. My husband just kept asking if something happened, what was wrong. I was on the phone when this happened and heard everything. Then I called to see if I could get an explanation. The owner picked up the phone and said “no more orders for you, I can refuse service call the police if you want” We were really just in shock and have never had this experience anywhere in our entire lives. I never leave negative reviews on small business no matter how horrible the service or food is because I know this is peoples lively hood but the way we were disrespected and treated today is unacceptable . We really don’t understand what happened, if he’s confusing my husband with someone else. We have never had any issues with them ever just so saddened by this experience. Not sure what happened but sadly will never go back there again. Our last order was on Monday and everything went smoothly. Everything was hopefully caught on camera. So there is no room for false accusations. To the owners if there was something that we did or said or anything we would have been so open to dialogue and would have understood and respected any request. However the way that we were insulted and disrespected was disgusting.

Poke bowls were ok before but now have gotten really bad. They don’t even know what offer real fish anymore. It’s a choice between spicy “crab” which is just fishcake, chicken or whatever substance they slop on called “spicy tuna” which is mostly sriracha Mayo and some unidentifiable finely chopped substance. Charged me 1.75 for an 1/8 of an avocado, skimpy on cheap toppings like cucumbers. Over all a horrible experience and I’m very upset about my money being spent here.

Poke bowls are still great but available options are a bit more limited. Take out only format now.

Never had a bad experience with Wens bowls they’re absolutely amazing and very filling and worth every penny this my go to spot. Their spicy tuna and chicken is soo good 👍🏾❤️

Definitely not the best Asian cuisine I've had in the area... Although I've only been a couple times... The fried rice is very mediocre. if I ever make it back into this place and have a better experience I will rate accordingly!

They changed their menu, and have since lost a lot of customers. Now they mainly do “Hawaiian Poke Bowls”. No more sushi, or any normal Chinese food. Sad, because they were the best in the area at one time.

I ordered the Tofu Poke Bowl the other night with rice , oranges , sweet onion, and teriyaki sauce with ginger. It was delicious and very healthy! The Poke bowl is a great post hike or post workout recovery food. Also the soup was great too.

This place has amazing poke bowls that you can customize yourself. The portions and prices are great!! My whole family craves eating here. But what’s the cherry on top of the whole place is the sweet owner and her daughter. Buying here really makes you feel like you’re giving back to the community.

Best sticky rice I've ever eaten.

Lived in Naugatuck for 2 years, now live elsewhere but my husband and I still pay a visit just to have Wens. Hours can be funny however, when you go taste her Poke you will not be disappointed. Wen is the sweetest lady and she has some killer food. Unfortunately, we never got to try her sushi that everyone raves about in town but the Poke is still worth a visit!

Wen's was easily the best sushi around; put Tomo to shame. Even their Chinese, was great! I would get food almost every Friday. So why am I giving them only 3 stars? Well it's now more of a Hawaiian place serving only Poke bowls and a few apps. I tried it and ehh it's just OK. Still the same quality ingredients and if this is your thing then you might give it 5 stars. It's just not what I want. UPDATE: The poke bowl's have grown on me, and i now quite enjoy them. Still wish they had sushi but I added an extra star as the food is really that good.

It says open at 11 am but it rarely ever is. Horrible business practice. Change your business hours to reflect reality! Used to have easily the best sushi in the area until one day they switched menus to Pokebowls without notifying any of the regulars. The Pokebowls are pretty good. Fresh ingredients. However, the sushi was better. Not sure what the abrupt change was about.

A very friendly place with great food. We only get a chance to go once a year when we travel there for a friend's birthday, but Wen always remembers me like I was there yesterday.

Formerly the best Asian food in CT. Now they serve poke bowls. Sadly we no longer go a to Wen's 😭. I'm sure they switched for a reason, they should open a high class restraunt somewhere else and server the old menu. I would have paid twice the price for the food on the old menu.

We needed a place to have lunch the day after Christmas and we're from Washington State found this little place and 'd do anything to take this place home with me to Washington fabulous people wonderful wonderful food!!!

The food and service is great. My family and I are big fans of their Poke Bowl.

This was my first time dining here and can only say that I wish I had done it earlier. Everything was tasty and cooked to order. The hibachi shrimp fried rice was very good. Plenty of shrimp and tiny peas and carrots with tiny chopped egg. Spring rolls were fried and yet not greesey. Wonton soup was very tasty and hot. All good. We will definitely go back ! Plus they had an A on their report card.

I've never tried a Poke Bowl. The waitress was very helpful in giving me suggestions. The wonton soup was very good along with the Poke Bowl. Definitely something I'll have again.

No longer a sushi place! A disappointment once we sat down for some sushi with our byob. Starred at the menu like where's their sushi menu and was informed they fine so sushi anymore. They now do poke' bowls? Warning no longer serving sushi. Staff was polite. It's like going for ice cream and it turned into an Italian ice shop.

Absolutely amazing and delicious. Fast service. Their ginger dressing is out of this world.

I can not comment on what the food is like now. I went there only to find out that they no longer serve Sushi. Was pretty upsetting. The environment was dead on a Friday night. This was a great place but now I can not even say.

NOT a sushi place. Food was good, but they must have changed. Google results for “sushi” showed wens. All available pics showed sushi. Worth a try though if your hearts not set on sushi.

awesome prices for quality sushi and sides of fresh add ons the Poke Bowl was great came with hot tea and a soup was $1.25 more good meal hidden secret, I will return to sample the rest of the menu and try the terriyaki bowl too ,If i want Sushi traditional I go to Sake and spend big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Update: its not Wenns Asian Fusion anymore, same owners, different menu. Ok, here it is, your going to be upset because its not the same menu, you cant change that, new menu is short and sweet. Its very good food, but you cant compare to old resteraunt. Prices are more affordable. Quality is still top notch. We are just sad and miss our sushi.

They make great food, my husband loves their sushi and my personal favorite is the chicken teriyaki. I order the food, go to Game Stop and by the time I get back it is done. They have dine in and dine out. They also have the Japanese Soda (Ramune) there my son likes with the little glass marble.

I really like this place. The food is great and priced pretty good and employees are very friendly. It's pretty small and quaint. You can also bring your own booze which is nice.

I have yet to find something I did not like at Wen's. Service is above and beyond. Food is very beautiful and delicious, not only giving you a feast for the belly but also the mind. One of my Top 5 for local restaurants.

Yup reviews are correct about this place. Delicious! To bad this place isn't in jersey because I would be here at least once a week. Service is fast! Only thing bad about the place is the chairs at the bar. 3 inches to short. Had to move to a table to eat. Owners loss because I was by myself. O did I say sushi was delicious!

This is a restaurant that I've been to for lunch many times. The quality and freshness of the food is good. I wish they had different specials and bigger portions, but overall it is a small nice quiet place.

Bought General Tso Chicken, honestly? Tasted more like hot wing sauce. And even with that, it tasted as if it came out of the jar. The chicken didn't look like real chicken, They were all uniform, like eating a meatball. Been to this restaurant many times, but this has to be the worse I've come home with in awhile. XXX

Not your typical strip mall Chinese place. Small but comfortable dining room. Great variety of Asian dishes and sushi. My meal was freshly prepared and delicious as was the Thai Iced Tea I had with it. Service was good as well. Not much from the outside, but well worth the trip!

Obsessed with the sushi.. My favorite one is the tempura chicken roll but I also like the standard California and avacado roll.. Overall I love this place and I recommend it to everyone that enjoys Asian food and sushi
