You can't go wrong going to Wesley's Bean Pot & BBQ. Great food.

Stopped for lunch at 12:40 on a weekday. Ordered the turkey sandwich. Cost was $9.23 for 1 slice of mushy turkey , about 1/8” thin, that appeared to be processed turkey, on white bread. Side of Green chili corn was cold to lukewarm.

I’ve have been a customer since Wesley’s Bean Pot was founded and have supported the ownership transition. Today we had the opportunity to eat there again for lunch. I was disappointed that it wasn’t the same experience that it’s been in the past. Food quality has been compromised. I totally understand the price increase and don’t mind paying it but the food has got to be top shelf. Today it was below average at best.

When they decide to actually open up for the day (IF they decide to) its for like a couple hours this place is unprofessional and VERY VERY VERY VERY un dependable. This place sucks!!

Really good food ! I had the sausage and brisket plate . big full plate . will be back for sure.

Ribs fell off bone, brisket was moist and sauce completed the meal. Only issue would be the restroom needed a little bit more attention.

I had the 2 meat combo with Brisket and sausage. It was really delicious and the people were friendly!

Stopped in Thursday for carry out chopped brisket. It was poorly chopped, stringy, and tough. Over priced for the area.

Ordered the half rack of ribs , and 1 smoked sausage link was 27.93$. Sausage are soft taste like Big Hotdog, the Ribs glazing on Top were BURNT and very little meat on the ribs. Being from Louisiana I KNOW good food & I personally would not advise anyone to go here unless u just have no taste buds , lol .

Great food, tender and delicious meats, beans and corn breads, cole slaw, and tea, you can beat that

Had Wesley’s smoke my turkey for thanksgiving dinner and it was delicious. Definitely will be doing this every year from now on. I’ve always deep fried mine but wanted something different this year and I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you again Sara!

Not sure what’s happened to Wesley’s. The meat is bland, “not smoked”, chopped beef full of fat. Turkey came from a roll, store bought, not smoked. It was actually gross. Beans bland, and potato salad nothing but mashed potatoes with mustard.

Food is always good! You can’t beat the jalapeño sausage in town either..Top 2 bbq places in Amarillo if not 1

We tried the brisket, Frito pie, beans, coleslaw, chili, Mac n cheese, and potato salad. Everything was great! Clean restaurant, friendly service.

Best bbq,laid-back atmosphere and always friendly. I love grabbing a brisket sandwich once a week. Their loaded potato is awesome too, and they hook it up. I can barely eat half of it.

This place is out of control as far as quality of food (if you want to call it that). Turkey is fake and taste nasty. Brisket dry and flavorless. Potato salad: mustard and mashed potatoes, that's it. Beans, bland. Until new ownership wises up on what a good barbecue joint is supposed to be, Wesley's ain't worth your time or money. Save your appetite for barbecue done right.

Food was rather flavorless. The reviews had me super excited, but the restaurant under delivered. The ribs were by far the best of the meats. They were moist and fell off the bone, but they had no real flavor and didn't taste 'smokey'. The turkey tasted like a salty cut up slab of turkey you can buy at any deli. Lastly the brisket was more like a pot roast. The beans were very bland. Luckily, they have a very tasty BBQ sauce you can squirt into it and onions and other things you can add to them to jazz them up. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant and restroom was very clean and bright.

We ordered the mothers day special and got home with it wasn't enough to feed 5 people and they ran out of sliced brisket and the portion were very small not enough to feed 5 people needless to say I'm very disappointed about it and probably will not be ordering deals again .

Not only is it conveniently located north of the loop for my people out here, it's probably me and my SO favorite comfort food. Get a larged loaded frito pie and dump, and I mean DUMP their BBQ sause all over it and split it. You won't regret

I've always had great BBQ here. The loaded frito pie is awesome and a great value. The jalapeño sausage is the best also.

Staff is very friendly. The food on their other hand is dry and very bland. It used to be good but I will not be eating for a long time until changes are made. Brisket has no flavor or bark as well as dry. I shouldn’t have to drink bbq sauce to get it down. Beans have no flavor. Hot links were dried up. Almost like it’s cooked and refrigerated and warmed up to serve. It’s sad because I’ve had many great plates at this joint. But the past 4 times I’ve had the same results. I would avoid until further noticed.

Moved out here 2 wks ago, i have tried several bbq places. I have to say wesley's has been the best so far. I love sl. Beef brisket sandwiches. It was awesome. I got it coleslaw with it was just ok not enough flavor. Being this is close to my home, this will be my go to place from now on.

2 of us split the 3 meat plate and it was plenty of food and it was very good

Food is good but its odd that cops, firefighters, and emt’s get a discount but military isn't acknowledged at all. Guess their service isn't good enough?

This was first time visiting this establishment and I have to say that it was very good! Now I understand that everyone's taste is different and being that I smoke food all year long mine are as well, that being said The place itself was clean, calm atmosphere The staff themselves were extremely friendly, very grateful that you were supporting that business 👏, and the prices are very reasonable, wont break the bank! Now my party got a extreme frito pie, you get alot on it, pretty tasty, a sliced brisket sandwich which was also tasty, and I got a 2 meat sandwich, I chose to get sausage and chopped brisket, I didn't think I was hungry having eaten only 3 hrs earlier but I was last to start eating but finished 5 minutes before the others! I gobbled that sandwich down, not even a thought of taking pics of our food lol, so it was very good, nice sized generous amount of meat. Now I prefer my meats to have a stronger smoke flavor than others, so to me it wasn't or didn't have a strong smoke flavor but this is just my own personal preference, but it doesn't mean that it wasn't good, but I do have family that prefer just a hint or just enough smoke, so they may cater more to those on the lighter side, but either way I believe you'll enjoy the food, wanted to try ribs but were sold out!! So go give them a try you'll make alot of people smile as well as yourself!! Be safe, Have fun,make memories, ✌

Amazing Barbeque on the outskirts of town. My go to place for all smoked meat needs. It's a small casual place that is always busy. You have to catch them when opened...they keep limited hours. Great menu and reasonable prices! They will even smoke your turkey or ham for holiday gatherings.

Great bbq at affordable prices, around noon there is nowhere to sit though so try to time your visit around that..

Wow!! You would not expect it here but this place has something very unique to offer. I had the jalapeño sausage and I couldn't believe how juicy and flavorful it was. Not to mention it was spicy but not so hot you need to step outside. The entire restaurant is filled with so much personality and care. It also has a great local feel to it. This place is definitely worthwhile for lunch or dinner for yourself, family, friends or a big group. You can't go wrong here. The moment you walk in, you can tell immediately how much the owners care about this place. Hope everyone else who comes here has just as good an experience I did!

I stumbled on this and boy oh boy was I glad. The chopped beef sandwich was great because the barbeque master making the meat knows what he is doing. Well I dunno if he is a bbq master but he should be. My travelling partner had the baked potato. Wow it looked delicious. I tried the baked potato loaded with brisket, chili, and cheese and tank about wow factor. The atmosphere is very country atmosphere and that means comfortable and down home style. The place is clean. Eating areas, bathrooms, etc... Ordering was easy. As traveler I like it when the order tracker makes a suggestion whether it be a special or local favorite... this happened. You order and pay at the counter and they brought our the food. I will go out of my way to go here again.

I am a rela estate agent and I was out with a client looking for property all day. When it was time for lunch, we Google food near and this BBQ restaurant popped up. Wow! Friendly, clean and great food. Get there early the ribs sell out fast.

found it by accident, but what a find! little dive place that I'm sure is for locals that they are lucky to have! great bbq! the owner (I assume) was there and working and greeted and talked to everyone. food was quick and good I'm so glad I found it. I will sure go back if I'm in the area.
