Always a great drink and lots of fun. Bella and Jill are the best!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I'll start with the good things and then say why I'm rating this shop 2 stars. The service was excellent, no complaints there whatsoever. I got a macchiato, and a drip coffee. The espresso was fine, nothing great or outstanding but it was a totally fine espresso drink. The drip coffee however, and I don't know how this is possible, but it was maybe the worst cup of coffee I've personally ever had. They obviously did not use nearly enough coffee. Let's be frank here like if you're calling yourself X coffee shoppe, make a passable cup of coffee for God sakes. I can't stand Keurig, and it was worse than Keurig. I don't know if it was a fluke, but if you're going to call yourself a coffee shop, figure out how to make coffee. It's like kindergarten stuff here folks.

I’m from out of state but my mom lives in wheeling we came here for the first time and the barista was nasty. Wouldn’t say hello, walked away from us made us feel very uncomfortable. Ripped the card out of my mother’s hand then yelled she needs the receipt back handed it back and she crumbled it up. I will not be back again. Coffee was not the greatest. and made us feel so uncomfortable and while being there said to other customers have a nice day so we felt unappreciated. So whoever owns this coffee shop ur losing buisness having her work there. Long dark hair shaved on the sides. best advice get rid of her. If i could leave 0 stars I would have.

This coffee shop is the best in Wheeling. It has indoor and outdoor seating. Located in a nice area and near other businesses. The baristas are always friendly, as well as the owner. Their coffee is always hot and fresh (iced coffee, hot or cold tea, chai, and smoothies are also available). My coffee is always perfectly made and tastes wonderful.

Cutest place ever! Got an iced coffeee and blueberry muffin , so yummy! The girl working was sooo nice and friendly and gave us great recommendations on what to do!

Barista was throwing the tools of barista around. Slamming the milk, coffee and chia all while processing our order. Short tempered and impolite near hostile. I will be surprised if the expresso machine last the entire year how she was slamming the parts together. Maybe customer service isn’t her strength. The chi latte and the Carmel macchiato were at best….weak.

The girl who served us was so beautiful and nice! The coffee and chai tea was the best I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to stop by next time we’re in wheeling<3

Adorable little hole in the wall with the most delicious 😋 Chai latte (sugar-free vanilla) I've ever had. Quaint and pleasant. A great place to pull out your laptop and get some work done!

The girl working today was the rudest ever!!! No customer service at all, she was rude to my kids even!!! HORRIBLE!! she should be fired!

Cute and cozy coffee shop with great outdoor seating. Coffee is good, barista was very nice. Only one person working so it was a bit slow and there was a wait. I was 6th in line and I was there for about 25 minutes. Shop offers pastries and lighter breakfast options along with many coffee, tea and other drink options! You can purchase bags of coffee beans and syrups here as well.

I got a coffee and a muffin, both were delicious. The staff is friendly knowledgable and great at giving suggestions on what you might like!

Pastries/cookies were a bit dry but the coffee was excellent. Being just down the street, I will definitely return.

A great local coffee shop. The workers are attentive and nice. The owner is accommodating & even ordered a decaf tea I requested when he didn’t carry it in stock.

Great customer service. They're wonderful to my daughter. Their coffee is fantastic too. I like the iced Highlander grog. We walk up every weekend and a couple of times during the week.

This coffee shop has always been clean, good service, and delicious coffees. The owner has always been pleasant and friendly. I have been a patron of this business for years.

We stop here at least once a week. The owner and employees are very friendly and make tasty coffee and chai tea drinks. The homemade treats are very yummy too!!! They have outdoor tables to sit and watch the world go by as we relax with our drinks. Highly recommended, locally owned Coffee Shoppe

Full disclosure, I’m the bald guy with the bead necklace who used to work at this establishment. With that out of the way, I’d like to say that the Wheeling Coffee Shoppe still serves the best coffee in town. The community that patronizes the shoppe is a grade above most of what you’ll find in Wheeling, and the owner is present almost every single day of the year. There really isn’t a better place to hang out and work or chat with passersby. If you’re passing through Wheeling, or a local who hasn’t checked it out, I really recommend you stop in.

This is the best coffee shoppe around. Stay away from the chains. The staff is great. Super fun, very accommodating and always friendly. Nice selection of cold and hot drinks. The highlander grogg is a staple and popular flavor/blend. Good location and awesome employees.

Im leaving a 5 star review because some petty lady had a bunch of her friends leave 1 star reviews because she was fired im guessing.

The coffee here is amazing and the service is amazing. I started first coming in during quarantine. The 4 baristas that work there are always super sweet and are always very accommodating. I've only ever had bad experiences with a 5th worker. Not sure if she is new because I did not see her much at all when I first started coming in, but she has really short brown hair and she doesn't have a very pleasant attitude in the mornings. Haven't seen her many mornings lately so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Best atmosphere in town for a cup of joe or just to chill.

The coffee is delicious here. A great little meeting spot. It's nice in warmer weather because you can hang out outside and take in some sun with your coffee or tea.

Me and other family members went here for a combined two times while visiting for Thanksgiving. Both times the service left a lot to be desired--those working behind the counter were notably unfriendly and unpleasant. The drinks were good, but the staff did not make me want to come back.

I wish the baristas could agree on one way to make my drinks, but I really love it!

My husband and I used to own and started the Wheeling Coffee Shoppe and I am so happy that it is continuing to thrive! It is such a wonderful addition to the community of Wheeling, West Virginia. Jennifer Barry, rather than bringing your own coffee and food (and a corporate brand like Starbucks at that!) into a family owned coffee shop and then slamming it in a review why don't you talk to the manager about your complaints. Attempting to harm this adorable Shoppe that people have worked so hard to make great does nothing for the community of Wheeling, West Virginia. I love the Wheeling Coffee Shoppe and hope for its continued success! Best of luck to WCS and your wonderful employees.

The best coffee place ever. Its has a wonderful selection of coffees you can buy and drink; my personal favorite is the highlander grogg. And I just want ro throw this in for all the pumpkin spice lovers. I don't like pumpkin spice lattes at all from nowhere except this place. They use real pumpkin and it's not so sweet it will rot your teeth out. Has great cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating that's perfect in the summer.

Easily one of my favourite places in Wheeling. The drinks are great, and the whole staff is so kind and funny. The vibe is nice, the bathroom is always clean. It's a quant and happy little place.

My girlfriends stopped in to buy some coffee for our machine, but ended up doing that and having a wonderful cup of Paramount latte and a scone and chatting in the charming coffee shop until every drop was drunk and every crumb consumed. What a lovely place in the heart of downtown.

Not as good as it once was. Returning to visit family, I made a few return visits. On one of them, I asked for a dirty chai latte (with a shot of espresso) and it came without the espresso. On another visit it took some explaining to receive my beverage in a ceramic cup Vs paper. The beverage was too hot to drink. It seems like the shop is on autopilot.

Love it. Actually I'll be stopping by in about an hour on my way to work. Great staff great coffee. Free WiFi, Snacks, did I mention the coffee? YUM! 👍

This coffee shop is a local favorite with indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is a great place to study or catch up with friends. Some of the coffee is roasted locally by Paramount Roasters downtown

Visited once. Attendant(?) there by herself the first time. Very nice. Did a great job with my double chocolate hot cocoa with half & half. Bought a few knick-knack souvenirs there. Hoped for more local options with the souvenirs though.

Probably the best coffee in town. Barista is friendly and the ambience cozy. I was here one Thursday afternoon and in and out were a lot of older people, seem like their regular hangout spot. Reason I didn’t get them 5 Star is because the internet speed. It’s extremely slow. My cellphone LTE is 20 times faster than that.

Indoor seating is a bit limited due to the size but the staff is friendly and they serve some of the best coffee I've ever had.

We loved our dinner here! We sat outside with our four kids and dog and enjoyed the casual atmosphere and friendly people. We had the fish tacos, sloppy Joe & salad, and two kids Nutella and peanut butter sandwiches with apples. They even had Belgian beer! The food was fresh, nicely presented, and the service was timely and warm.

I happened upon this place while passing through Wheeling. I only ended up there because it was pretty much the only place in Wheeling that was open on a Sunday, but I was glad I found it. Huge selection of many different kinds of tea (I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't comment on the coffee, but it's sometimes hard to find coffee shops that have good tea selections too -- even in much larger cities.) Free wifi too. Super friendly & welcoming place, everyone seemed to know each other, and after stopping in I felt like I knew everyone too. This is the kind of place I wish I could find on all my travels.

Always has two flavored and a light roast and a med or bold roast on every day. Huge variety of different coffees that can be bought by the pound as well! Also a huge variety of flavors for hot or cold coffee and tea beverages! Also offers non-caffeinated beverages! Great outdoor seating and friendly staff!

Wheeling Coffee Shoppe is worth a stop. They have a huge variety of drinks, all of which are customizable, super friendly staff, fair prices, and consistently great quality. The last time I went to Wheeling Coffee Shoppe, I had a long wait at Avenue Eats and decided to grab a coffee. Genius idea. Worth it!
