The service and atmosphere are second to none! Just absolutely love this place 💚

Was pleasantly surprised to find a Ramen spot in Erie. Weight staff were very pleasant. Food quality was decent. Not five star, but definitely a strong 4. Place is a bit hidden; drove past it once and then turned around to find it. Kind of a hidden gem and Erie. Definitely will be back on my next visit to the town.

The food was delicious and the staff was amazing! Great atmosphere.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as we had never heard about this place but had a lovely time at dinner. The dining space had big windows and an airy feel which was relaxing. The chicken karaage is a must get! Very good. The staff was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu so don’t be afraid to ask questions to find a dish that that works best for you! Will be back for sure!

After eating here, I couldn't believe that we had the place to ourselves for the first half hour! The building is BEAUTIFUL and perfectly compliments the absolutely amazing food. This place is a GEM in Erie. If you haven't tried it, go asap. I can't wait to go again, and it will be a must when friends and family come to Erie to visit. From the Thai tea lemonade and veggie tempura incredible ramen and dessert...no notes! Perfection.

Very interesting place. Food is delicious! Price is reasonable. Located right by the airport. You walk into a house-like setting instead of a restaurant. Then you get seated in a room with tables. I feel bad for server Ashley as she is the only one doing everything in the room. Nicest server you can deal with! Thank you for taking care of us!

What a great place. I liked everything about our experience and the food was all so good. We will be going again soon to try out more from their menu.

The building is extremely cozy, workers are incredibly friendly, and food was amazing. I had no clue erie could have such a comforting atmosphere. Will recommend to everyone 🖤

Amazing spot in a somewhat awkward location. But that just makes it more unique! The ginger tea and thai tea lemonade were delicious. Tonkotsu ramen and chicken wonton ramen were also very very good. We tried the crepe cake which was pretty good as well but not as good as we hoped. The biggest thing, however, was our exceptional service! Alyssa did an outstanding job going over the entire menu in detail and really making our experience very enjoyable. She sets the bar high for what a server is and should be!

Great place to eat. Tucked away back in a nice wooded area, the atmosphere was very pleasant with a modern yet old world feel, almost cottage-like. The menu was straight forward with plenty of variety without being overwhelming. Vegetarian/vegan options available. We enjoyed the spicy miso, brothless ramen and curry. All were excellent portions and quality for the price. Dessert was the matcha creme brulee, blueberry cheesecake and chocolate almond cake. All were excellent and unique in texture and flavor. Our server was top notch. I arrived a little late so I didn't catch his name but the young man with the glasses, you did a stellar job. Attentive, perfectly timed and top manners. And from what we could tell all the staff were of the same caliber. If you want some good noodles and great service, make the Wooden Ladle a regular stop.

Just wonderful. Dumplings were fantastic and I had enough noodles and chicken to eat my leftovers for lunch the next day. Lovely calming spot and great service!

Food was outstanding. I had shrimp tempura which was amazing, gyoza was one of the best I ever had. Chicken ramen was spot on. I like the decoration of the restaurant, very specious space with nice view. My server Alissa was fantastic. Highly recommend Ladle restaurant. Definitely coming back soon.

I love the food, no complaints on that. The people there are chill as well, they're not too formal but they're still doing their job. The atmosphere is pretty nice but doesn't really match with the food. Only complaint I have I suppose is not much drink choices and I'd love if the chopsticks were either disposable or metal/fiberglass.

Stopped in as they opened for lunch. Would certainly return. Enjoyed the to tonkotsu ramen and hot jasmine tea(I wish the tea was served in a more traditional style vs a jasmine tea bag in glass mug). Friendly service from Natalie as well.

Absolutely amazing service from Ben! Very homey for a restaurant, but loved the atmosphere. Husband had the ramen and I had the curry rice. Hands down the matcha crème brûlée was super tasty. Thank you for a wonderful experience while we were visiting the area from Idaho.

Came on a Wednesday night and small parking lot was full. Had Tonkotsu ramen and matcha creme brulee. Both were delicious! Good service with Benny. Definitely will return. Give it a try! You can also park across the street at a church.

I had the chicken wonton ramen, outstanding. We were all really pleased with the food and service. It feels like authentic Japanese cuisine, with a calming and inviting atmosphere. We are definitely coming back again.

I haven’t been able to find good Japanese food in a long time, this was great ! Added to that, the lady working there was amazingly kind and helpful, she even helped us finding a ride back since there was no uber nor Lyft available, we’re very grateful and will come again when we have the opportunity, Thanks a million, Marina and Maugan.

Was here today with a friend for lunch, and I love everything about this place. Our server, Natalie, was so nice. I love the ambiance! We got there shortly after noon, so there weren't a lot of people there. The beef wonton ramen was delicious. I also ordered the flourless chocolate torte, and it was very rich, but also very good. My friend enjoyed the spicy miso ramen also! The portions are great; you may need to take some home! The price is reasonable too! This place is definitely worth checking out. I know I'll be back to try other things on their menu

First visit here we of course went for the ramen. We started with the wings, which were fantastic. We will be back to explore other menu items. It was nice that “build-your-own” ramen bowl was an option. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was lovely…a fireplace would have made it perfect. We missed out on the crepe cake, but the blueberry cheesecake was phenomenal! We will be back.

There was good and bad here. First of all, the service was great. We got ramen and appetizers. All the apps were perfect. The ramen was a mixed bag. The broth had a great flavor. However, everyone's was served Luke warm. The noodles were doughy. I got the pork ramen. The meat tasted like freezer burn. Overall, I couldn't eat most of it. I ate the vegetables and the half egg and that was it. Maybe they were having an off day, but I wouldn't go back here.

Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and the food is EXCEPTIONAL. You can even get a ladle as a souvenir! Definitely will be back.

Ramen was outstanding.Service was good, and loved the Chicken wing appetizer.

Such a cute little place, stashed in a cute little building. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of seating, but it gives the warmth of a cute little shop. We tried the chicken wings, which were delicious. My husband got the chicken wonton ramen, I nabbed the tonkotsu ramen. It was served up hot and fresh made, not to mention delicious! The broth was so full of umami, I would love to know how they make it. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this jewel of Erie.

Ate there 12/8. I think the matcha lemonade & matcha creme brulee were my favs but everything else was really yummy too. The curry chicken is very rich & warming with perfectly cooked carrots & potatoes & flavorful chicken. Ginger lovers will enjoy the wings. The rahmen broth is a little heavy on soy sauce but tasty. Our server was efficient & friendly & we were in & out in like 1 hour.

A quaint little place, next to the Erie Airport. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own. It is BYOB. We also tried the Tempura veggies, they were excellent. My wife Linda and I will be back here again soon.

Having traveled all over Asia this food compared to such an authentic level the portions were amazing the service was on point Jack was the most polite and professional server. I hope people in Erie discover and frequent your most unique establishment!!!!!

I went to Wooden Ladle with my family for my birthday and I can say it is my favorite place to eat. The ramen was amazing, the staff members were very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Flavorful, filling and friendly to out of towners!

Ordered mazemen and some sides for takeout and was moderately disappointed. Service was friendly, food was ok. It tasted like avg lo mein with some half decent toppings. I really wanted to like it but just wasn't impressed. Ate the chasu off the top and dumped the noodles.

Good! Strange location, the building is neat - it almost feels like a renovated toll house. Food is alright, everything feels just a little off from what you might expect of a Japanese place. Odd choices of veggies, strange cutting/cooking methods, but overall the best Curry Rice in Erie right now.

I'm addicted. I haven't found better Ramen anywhere near here. Some of the best food in Erie, in my opinion.

Fantastic place for authentic food and great atmosphere.

Amazing place that I tried for the first time today. I had the gyoza for an appetizer and the brothless ramen for my main dish. Both were very good. Also had the matcha crème brûlée for desert. Service was also very good. Can’t wait to go back, especially during a light snow to enjoy another bowl. My only wish is that they were more accessible to wheelchairs. Hopefully that will come soon.

Have had the pleasure of dining here twice now and enjoyed multiple appetizers and bowls... everything has been spectacular and the service was excellent. Cannot recommend it enough....It's a mistake not to order the blueberry cheesecake.

The server was great and I really do love the location in this tiny abode. They made an effort to seat my larger party with no reservation, going above and beyond. However, my karaage curry was not very impressive. Maybe 5 chicken chunks served with rice and a mild curry sauce with sparse veggies. I’m no expert in Japanese cuisine, so I shared photos with my friends who are familiar who agree, this was subpar. I hope they can improve, and I may return still to try a ramen dish. Last, the table water bottles were not chilled, not sure if that’s a Japanese thing, however.

The side of rice was disgusting. The Ramen was good but not incredible. The atmosphere was cute. Very small menu
