Mm mm mm!! Always excellent! Meat stuffed grape leaves, Mediterranean salad, spicy humus!! Also try a jar of the pickled wild cuccumbers!!! Delicious!!

I did not get everything I ordered. I called and they said they would refund me. No refund happened. I called back and they have no record of me or my order. Of course they don't! Response to the owner: I am a long time customer. I have never been treated this way before and I am shocked at this reply. You should do your homework before talking. You should take care of your customers before deny them. This is an idiot response. You obviously don't care about you customers. You only care about the money we give you and what happens from there, you could careless about. Who ever responded to this should be fired!

I. Can't. Rave. Enough! Fantastic food, wonderful people working there and just an all around East Lansing staple. If I don't get Kafta or Veggie Grape Leaves once a week, I get ornery.

Food was quick and delicious. After being burned too many times by Zaytoons, we will travel to Woody's Oasis from here on out!

I didn’t eat food yet waiting on my first order. I’m sure it will be awesome as the servers ( people behind the counter ) are amazing especially Jupiter is sooooooo friendly , warm , nice , kind and helpful !!!!! The store is open - roomy , clean and nice ambiance. I ordered the spicy falafel sand and lentil rice soup. . Jupiter is amazing I’ll def be back all without trying the food.

This is a very good clean and healthy place to eat. Their food is super good and dietary friendly. Their chicken noodle soup is so good so is there burger that’s what is good for kids.

Went with a group of 20 people (mostly students) for lunch on a Thursday. Several folks with food allergies and restrictions in the group. Every single item that folks got was savored. Very large portions, quick and friendly service, very tasty food, many more options (including a large menu of vegetarian and vegan options) than you find at most Mediterranean food places. If you are in this area, this is a must-eat restaurant - you won't be disappointed!

I discovered this place recently, and have been going pretty regularly since, about twice a week. For those into working out, the chicken kabob over rice is the perfect macronutrient profile for a post workout meal, leaves one full, and the price ($6.50 at the time of this writing) can just not be beat, especially when every other place is charging $10+ for a similar macro profile due to inflation/price gouging. However, the other day I ordered takeout to save me some time and I was surprised at how comically small the rice portion was, about 2 table spoons at the bottom of a small container. On the contrast, I receive a whole plate of rice when I eat inside. I was still left hungry after this take out experience and had to stop at another restaurant. I do wish portions were more consistent whether you ate in or got take out. I don't think I would consider this restaurant if I wanted take out, but eating in is a pretty great experience.

My first visit and hope to go here again! I had the special, chicken shawarma and chose Mediterranean salad and hummus with pita bread as sides. Plenty to put into a take out box for home! Everything was delicious, even my favorite lemonade on tap, Minute Maid. I was a solo diner with a cane and things were comfortable and accessible for me.

Nice place to visit. Second time to order from this restaurant and the food was tasty. The mujadara, baba ghanoush and the fries were the best, the main dish was chicken also good. 4 stars for this restuarant. Recommended place to visit or to order from.

Great place. Personnel super nice. It is unfortunate that they are near an exit of a highway that is under remodeling, so access is hard. As soon as they finish construction, it should be super accessible.

Very nice place to to have lunch. Welcoming staff and great food. A calm environment, nice and quiet but not too quiet. Comfortable. Family atmosphere. Oh and the Greek Salads are killer! So delicious.

The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and well organized. Very good service.

Short staffed. Tomatoes and cucumbers in the salad were mushy. Very warm in the restaurant. Probably won't return for a second visit.

The gyro is a spiritual experience. One of our go-to week night meals!

Fast, friendly service, delicious, fresh food!

Vegetarians, carnivores, and vegans alike can all break bread at Woody's Oasis. The best Lentil and Rice soup and Lentil and vegetable soup I think are found here. Their Cabbage Salad is crisp and herby, while the Falafel is crispy and flavorful. Chicken Shawarma and Chicken Kabobs are excellent as well as the Mediterranean salad. The fries are also excellent. The one thing I will not purchase anywhere else is Woody's Garlic Sauce - absolutely wonderful. And as a coffee lover, too, the Cardamom Turkish Coffee is phenomenal.

Woody’s Oasis was recommended by the staff at Michigan State University vet hospital. This was the first time we visited this restaurant. The counter staff person was friendly, offered menu suggestions and answered all of my questions. She even told me the best way to eat the Falafel wrap! We spent about $27 on two falafel wraps, side dishes and drinks. I spent another $10 on a tray with a variety of desserts. The falafel would have been sufficient by itself - very filling. I would definitely make an hour drive just to come to this restaurant again! The food was delicious!

Whenever we come to Woody's the food and service is always phenomenal. Great food and atmosphere.

What's lacking in atmosphere is made up with authentic cuisine. Always a family favorite!

2/4/24 Update: the Beef Tenderloin Kebabs are outstanding and Woody's Oasis on Trowbridge Road stands out as the best overall Middle Eastern eatery in metro Lansing due to tasty, healthy food offerings, courteous staff and a CLEAN, contemporary and spacious dining area. The menu is impressive and everything is good due to the hands - on, daily involvement of the owner and his family members - give them a try!

Healthy food fast. They are always friendly. I usually get the hashwi combo and we love the zataar chips. It's also nice that they have fountain dr.pepper.

This is my #1 Middle Eastern restaurant. I visit every time I'm in Lansing! Been eating where since I was a little kid. So good I get food to eat and food to go - I especially love the lentil and rice soup, which I swear gets better as it sits in the fridge. Other highlights: baba ganouj, the vegan rice pudding, hashwi. Always a plus that all vegan and gluten free options are clearly labeled. And they were very helpful with my husband's dairy and nut allergies. I just wish the falafel was GF, I miss it so much.

If you've never been to Woody's, you're missing out! All of their food is amazing and great quality. Hummus, salads, chicken shwarma, grape leaves, and so much more. The combo meals have enough food to eat it for two meals or for 2 people to share.

Horrible experience, I came to pick up an order and staff was extremely rude to me. Other customers agreed as well that staff was extremely rude. There was a gay gentleman in the front specifically that I spoke to that was extremely unkind. Do not order from here (Update due to response) I never grabbed a bag off the counter they clearly have cctv unless there too broke to have cameras. I was turning a bag around to see the name on it and the employee grabbed the bag and said “no don’t touch” like I’m an animal. And pointed at the sign. I said I was sorry and that I didn’t see the sign and that’s when others customers got involved with there comments. I was not instructed multiple times not to grab bags and kept doing it. You are completely misinformed. I went to turn a bag around once only and mind you this is the first time I have ever walked into this establishment I didn’t even know which line to stand in or where to look for this order because nothing is clearly stated except for a sign that says “free samples please help yourself” but I did not see any free samples around any of those signs that I had access to without having to ask. Defeats the whole “help yourself” part of the sign. People make mistakes, have compassion. You work customer service learn how to interact with people. I was never rude I simply explained that I didn’t see the sign and like I said other customers agreed the employee was rude and they did not see the sign as well. It’s not illegal to assume someone’s gender or anything like that. people need to stop being so soft that was my description of the person that I had the interaction with. Sorry, if I miss gendered anyone, it might’ve been a woman. Also don’t forgot carry out orders are what kept your business alive during COVID including the drivers, maybe have more clear pickup instructions in the store for the delivery drivers.

This was my first time at the restaurant. I was told by a few people about the great food and I was very happy with the huge menu, friendly staff and amazing food! I am here for the local dog shows and I definitely recommend the is restaurant. Just amazing all the way around. 😍

Woody's has been here for many years. My husband and I enjoyed it in graduate school and enjoyed coming back while we were in town. The food here is delicious. Portions are overly large- easy to split or share.

I am a big Mediterranean fan but always went to flint or Jerusalem bakery in lansing. Recently I was told about Woody’s and tried it out for the first time 3 wks ago. It was so good that I haven’t stopped thinking about it! Hands-down, the best tabouli, and baba ghanoush I’ve ever had. Today I drove 45 mins to order enough to last me for a few days! Lol Someone please tell me why their stuff is so much better than anywhere else?! I need the recipes! Lol 😆

Our food was amazingly delicious, fresh, served hot and oh my gosh, you just have to eat here! We loved everything. Here's what we ordered... Filo Spinach Pie OMG🤩😋 Olive Cheeseburger😋 Mujadara❤️😍😋 Roasted Red Pepper Hummas, which they serve with 2 large folded-up fresh, warm pitas) IT WAS DELISHHHH!😋 2 pcs of the Pistachio Baklava ohhhhhmygoodness ooey gooey deliciousness😋 and to drink we each had a specialty fresh juice concoction- Joel liked the MSU Green Machine, and I LOVED the Lemonade Honey Apple Juice! Jake was awesome at the counter, and he served everything to our table when it was done. ➡️➡️ Only thing I wish: That their credit card/debit card machine was set-up to accept tips on behalf of the waitstaff/folks doing all the work getting it all to the tables or packaging/bagging it all up!!! They only accepted cash tips, and we didn't have any cash on us. ☹️ So, Jake, we remember you, even a few days after our visit. It was our 1st experience at your establishment, and we can't wait to return to eat with you again. And we'll be handing YOU a $10 BILL for our visit on Oct 12th! ❤️ Thank you for your awesomeness. It was my husband's first meal outside of McLaren Hospital for 4 solid days, so your smile and joy meant so much!

Kafta salad was fresh, delicious and really filling. The chicken schwarma was done to perfection. Portions of everything were very generous. Woody's never disappoints.

Although from the exterior, this place looks a little rough, it is well worth the visit. The food and service were great, and even though they were extremely busy while I was here during move in week, the service was top notch. I would recommend coming to Woody’s any time you are visiting the East Lansing area.

Food was excellent but I stood there for a while before anyone acknowledged me. Then, when I told them I needed space for a party of seven, they told me I could put the tables together myself. I am not only disabled, but I had my two year old granddaughter with me and the rest of my party had not arrived yet. A bit inconsiderate, in my opinion.

We grabbed a quick bite to eat just before they closed and we very much enjoyed everything received. It was a much larger portion then expected.

Only downfall is how expensive you have gotten. Can’t afford to go here but maybe once every couple of months

I've been coming to Woody's for decades. I always visit when I'm in town. Fantastic food that leaves you feeling nourished and happy, not heavy. Large clean dining room. My only tiny complaint is that ordering is a bit difficult for slower/older people who can't figure out the menu quickly. Feels a bit rushed. And it's quite difficult to hear when your number has been called from the dining room. Otherwise, it's a wonderful experience!

I was a helper for a catered celebration of about 200 people (40 at least didn’t rsvp)! Maria came with all the delicious food, set it all up and continued to work until the very last group made it through the line. Incidentally there was enough food for everyone! As just one of the ‘helpers’ I would recommend Woody’s and the staff especially Maria for any catered affair!

Oasis says it ALL. What a delight. Friendly people, great food, great prices. Definitely a must in Lansing

When your really really hungry like driving back home and you stop for the chicken schwarma with hummus it well worth it

Delicious food for a reasonable price with quick service. I like their gyros the best. Nice atmosphere to grab a bite to eat with a friend or small group, and also good for getting takeout. A colleague also told me that their catering is amazing as well. All-around great restaurant in the Lansing area.

Very nice staff at counter and manager on June 13 at 5:45 pm. I needed help using my apple wallet to pay and the manager helped me ! Food is always good and I like the chicken shawarma sad.

I just had my daughters wedding rehearsal dinner at Woodys. Super delishes, moist tender kabobs. All the food was incredible. It was also very, very affordable, about $12 per person. Highly recommend.

I got a chicken kabob and it was terrible!! Chicken was dry and veggies were slimy. It’s obvious they cooked it ahead of time and microwaved it. Salad had too much vinegar. I threw it all away.

Yeah…I know…a 5 out of 5. But nostalgia and taste really do align with locals when it comes to Woody’s. If you grew up in the outer Lansing area in the Aughts…it was our first taste of hummus before weight watchers deemed it the healthiest pairing to 0 point options (no dig, it’s true!) Point being…in my 30 years, Lansing has opened its doors to an incredible tapestry of culinary endeavors I’ve been fortunate enough to witness and taste. I can only hope this is a sign that our community is opening not just its palette…but it’s mind. I was forutunate enough to be reminded of what an impression Woody’s made on me when I lived in said “Lansing bubble” where Taco Bell was my first introduction to eating Al fresco. Thank you Marie for reminding me of what an impression and trailblazer woodys has been in my life and our community!… …and for the extra piece of namoura. ❤️

We’ve been looking for great Mediterranean food since moving to the Lansing area - and I’m happy to report that we finally found our gem! We had the garlic chicken kebabs and the beef kafta - both of which were outstanding! Perfectly marinated and spiced and the sides were just as good! Since our meals were so amazing, I decided we should try the baklava and ordered a few to go… I literally melted into heaven after the first bite! BEST baklava I have ever had! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you Woodys!

Feedback/suggestion: make the bread optional for online orders (e.g. DoorDash)! It's so nice and I appreciate how generous you guys are, but I don't eat bread and I feel so bad throwing out your good food because I don't have anyone to give it to. You guys will also save money! ♡

Chicken Shawarma Sandwich a traditional go to when you’re on the go. Grape leaf’s, hummus, and beef Kafta always a great signature to pick up at Woody’s. Family does such a great job being consistent on all their food. Thank you Woody’s‼️

Expectations can be everything. This location has a walk-up counter and inside seating like a fast food restaurant. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The spices on the shwarma almost tasted like taco seasoning. Hummus was thin. Was there with others and missed taking photos
