Place was clean! Drinks were strong and Pad Thai was great! Only complaint was they mixed up of spiciness on the orders which they accommodated after a little nudging..

Ordered take out recently and it exceeded my expectations. You can order online and pick it up in 15 minutes. I highly recommend the fried rice and the chicken pad Thai. You can choose the heat of your sauce so it’s just right. Will definitely order here again.

Som Tum with Shrimp (Papaya salad) is a must-try with an authentic taste for the Asian palate. The ‘sticky rice and coconut ice cream’ is heavenly and irresistible. I highly recommend you to try these two.

This is somewhat of a ‘hidden gem’ in downtown Wakefield. It is a nice place with a special ambiance. The staff are wonderful. They are friendly and efficient. The menu has a lot to offer and the prices are affordable. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Don’t miss this restaurant!!

We ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp, as we've done many times before. When I got home I discovered that they put in beef instead of shrimp. We do not eat beef so I called them up and told them about it. They said they would make another order with shrimp and wanted me to bring back the rice with beef. When I got there, they did not have my shrimp rice and showed me an order slip that said I ordered beef. I know I didn't order beef and Menufy made a mistake. They refused to refund my money or make me a new order unless I paid for it. They lied to me on the phone and made me drive back for nothing. We will not ever go here again.

Came for dinner during my fiance's birthday weekend in South Kingston. This place was perfect! Super friendly and patient service - hard to choose which delicious things to order! All the food and drink was spot on. We cannot wait to go back some day!

My wife and I decided to revisit San tang... an old favorite that we haven't been to in many years. We were not disappointed! We chose to dine in and found the restaurant to be clean, The staff to be pleasant, and the diners that were there for dinner enjoying themselves. It's a laid back, casual vibe that's good for families, as well as couples. We started our dinner with a cocktail... Choosing a cosmopolitan that was quite good! For dinner we had the chicken wraps and the sesame duck. Both were very good...tasty, fresh, and good portion size. My wife and I don't have large appetites so sharing an appetizer and main course works for us. We ended our meal with mango and sticky rice for dessert. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. Good solid food. Friendly and attentive service. Relaxing environment. All reasonably priced. We definitely recommend.

Used to get large food orders here all the time during the week. Came before 930 on a Saturday night and were turned away. Went down the street to a different Thai place. Very disappointed.

Really can’t tell you how the food was because after sitting at-a table and watching other people be served-who came in after us-we left! 20 minutes of wait time seemed unacceptable with no waitress , except when she sat us at an isolated table with menus and water! Trust it was Not exceptional busy-lost us as customers

The food was absolutely amazing, especially for the price! I had the lunch special and it only cost me $13 for a salad, spring rolls, and yellow curry with beef. I would happily make the hour drive from my house just to have lunch here again.

My Wife and I have eaten here twice. Both Times everything was great. We have tried the satay chicken skews, spring rolls, mango curry, pad thai and crunchy pad thai. I would recommend the crunchy pad thai over the regular pad thai. This will be a regular thai place for us.

Holy cow do yourself a favor and eat some curry puffs. I ate the takoyaki special, they were delicious but I think they sat for a minute and the temp was a little cooler. I've had these in Japan, Sa-Tang's were great, but there were not enough of them!! My miso soup was yummy. My dining mate's pad se ew was flavorful and had fresh crunchy broccoli. I highly recommend this Thai establishment!

The food is just okay. But takes a long time to serve. Maybe it is under staffed…. I don’t think it deserves the rating. But maybe it is the best in town already? A bit disappointed ☹️

Sa-Tang is a beautiful small restaurant yet everyone's distance was perfect. Food was great even took left overs home. Service was amazing.

tong-D has been closed for a while and we’ve been tried every thai restaurant in wakefield to find a new favorite. i must say, after trying sa-tang today, i will only be getting food here. all the dishes are well spiced and very very flavorful, my tastebuds are very pleased. they also make the best thai tea in town (from all that i’ve tried). we got the hot basil fried rice (i added pineapples), panang curry and pad kee mow. Each and every dish we got was exceptionally delicious. we asked everything to be extra spicy, and they did not disappoint us. im slightly annoyed that we didnt try this place sooner. besides the food, the staff is also very nice, helpful and friendly.

Satang is one of my favorite places to get Thai food. They never disappoint and are very friendly!

I found this place via Google Maps and am very satisfied with my experience. I ordered the combo lunch box with Chicken Tom Yum soup and Mixed Seafood Pad Thai. The soup is a little different than others I've had. I was expecting a coconut milk-based broth but this has a translucent broth with a fair amount of powdered chili pepper. It is still fairly mild and tastes very fresh. The Pad Thai is easily the best I've had in a long time, and I've enjoyed lots of Pad Thai from lots of different places. The Thai tea was fresh and just the right amount of sweet—not overpowering.

The upside of facing two-hour waits in the beach towns in Narragansett and South Kingstown for a Tuesday night dinner meant that we retreated to Main Street in Wakefield just a few miles away and got our chance to try this Thai restaurant, which I had heard about often from friends but had never been to. It was Thai Cuisine especially well done. We might even go back tonight! Our dishes were shrimp mango curry, tofu pad Thai, pineapple fried rice for the kids, coconut soup and sticky rice and the reliable chicken satay. While they were busy with takeout, the restaurant at 6:30 was about half full with plenty of room for a party of 5. There was much on the menu we’d like to sample in the future. Bravo! (As a bonus, Main Street is a lovely stroll with interesting shops and a great ice cream shop.)

Enjoyed lunch here...crispy scallion pancakes with a lovely peanut sauce that was slightly sweet and a hint of heat...Pad Thai with pork was delicious...noodles had a bite without being mushy...spring rolls were very crispy with a nice dipping sauce gingery and a hint of heat. All that and a friendly attentive staff...we will be back.

I lived in Thailand for 2.5 years and miss the food more than anything! Sa-Tang is the closest I’ve come to replicating the meals from Thailand itself. Delicious food, amazing service, and they even threw in a free Cha Yen. Loved this place and I’d be a regular if I were from here!

I've never been a big fan of Thai food, maybe mostly because of the confusing menus. Sa-Tang's menu is well organized and catagorized, with main dishes highlighted, and optional choices below. I have tried more dishes there than in all my previous dining at Thai restaurants; and they have all been excellent. Their sauces are the best we have tasted. The have a bar and signature cocktails. They also ask for reservations, although I have never seen a walk-in refused. They are open every day, lunch through dinner; Sunday late afternoon and evening.

Sa Tang is one of the several Thai restaurants popping up in the south County area. This one has a nice decor and has more seating than most of the others. There are booths and tables. The service is attentive and timely. There are many menu choices with a separate lunch menu, a takeout menu and a full dinner menu. The lunch menu has two types--a box lunch with appetizer, salad and main, while the other is a combination menu of salad and main dish. Both are in the same price range of $9-14.00 depending on protein (chicken,beef,pork, seafood) selected. After one chooses their protein, there are several choices at different levels of heat of sauces, curries,spices, and vegetable combinations. The lunch box also includes a choice of appetizers such as spring rolls, satays, dumplings, etc. All come with a mound of white steamed rice. Definitely a good choice for a reasonably priced and healthy lunch in pleasant surroundings with friendly service.

We go to another Thai restaurant in the area regularly, but thought we would give this one a try. We are glad we did. The service was very good and the staff were welcoming and very pleasant. The food was excellent. And the price was quite reasonable. The atmosphere was nice, although they could do with some repairs in regards to the floor and the booth we sat in had a tear in the seat that had been repaired with duct tape. However, overall this was an excellent experience and we will definitely return!

We met relatives at Sa-Tang based upon their recommendation and agree with them that the food and service are excellent. Coconut Soup was a tasty but not overly filling appetizer and the beef teriyaki was excellent.

Food was tasty but the wait in between courses was ridiculously long. The plates were not all cleared away at the same time. I found the service to be disorganized.

Don't judge Sa-Tang by the exterior of the building! Inside is pleasant, comfortable and they have a full-service bar. The food is reasonably priced and excellent. We made our first visit after many recommendations and found it to be "a pleasant surprise."

We have never had Thai sauces before like at Sa-Tang, and now it is our go-to Thai restaurant. Great food and drink. Service varies a bit depending on the number of diners, but nothing to complain about. The quality, however, never varies.

We went here an had 6 items from the appetizer menu and everything was perfect for 4 people including sharing a main course between 2 people each. I highly recommend the wings, lettuce wrap, chicken satay, and garlic string bean. Pad Tai and the Tom Yum soups were excellent. Service was a little slow because it was busy and appeared they were a little under staffed.

now we have been going down the street a bit for Thai and it is good but this is a bit different. You can tell them what level of hot you want and that is great. I love hot but my wife does not so we go middle of the road and they do it really well.the spring rolls are very good and the sauces are perfect. So we will be going here again , soon.clean place and good parking available. service if very good,fast and food comes out hot and is very fresh. a good go to spot.

We have gotten take-out on three recent occasions, and are ready for more. Everything we have sampled from the menu has been very good. Pad Thai, spring rolls, curry are all done per degree of spices requested. Delicious and satisfying without being heavy. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the lunch menu's flexibility and depth! Great tasting food and very attentive and patient wait staff! (My friend and I finished our meal, paid, but lingered for some time catching up and enjoying one another's conversation. The waiter kindly cleared away our plates and just continued to fill our water glasses without any pressure for us to leave. *There were other empty tables so we weren't hogging the seating.)

I'm currently on a mission to try all the pho gá in Rhode Island and Sa Tang marks my sixth restaurant. Given its location just 10 minutes from URI I can't help but give it the spot of number two on my list. Hon's is my current favorite after Hong Meas closed, but Sa Tang is well priced with a generous portion of soup, and though it's not as good as Hon's in my opinion, it still perfectly satisfied my cravings. The staff at Sa Tang is super nice and the atmosphere is extremely cozy! Will definitely be heading here again during finals week :)

Been here often. Service was great n the food cooked just right. The bar serves a nice pour also. Reasonable cost and seldom a wait. Will be back.
