Good local Asian cuisine, love the Mongolian beef

Good food and good place to get Chinese food. Music was good too and staff were awesome.

Had a party of 17. They handled it extremely well. Anticipated and executed everything very well from silverware to refills. Food was great. Service was on point.

Food is good not great but it's one of the better Chinese options in the area.

We came in on a weekday afternoon, I'd seen this place driving by and was curious. The amount of drink you get for your money is fantastic. I ordered the house special mai tai based on another reviewer's recommendation and it was massive! Tasted very good too. I ordered one of the sushi combinations, D on the back of the menu. It was a lot of sushi, more than I was expecting for the price, and it was all delicious. We sat outside. The tables were clean and the server was friendly and attentive, we never had to wait long for service. My only minor complaint is that a lot of people in the outside area were smoking. Which, in a way, adds to the character at least for me, but I wouldn't mind not breathing in cigarette smoke and I'm sure others wouldn't mind either.

The food never disappoints. I've never gone when it wasn't fresh and delicious. Service isn't fantastic, sometimes not friendly but I think that might be language barrier. I can overlook that because the food is really good.

After our experience today, we’re never returning. I’ve personally been a customer for the past few years, though recently the food and service has gone significantly down hill. Today, me and my mother went out and ordered sushi. Our waitress was obviously rude, and didn’t know what was on the menu. She blatantly ignored the gluten allergy that was clearly stated, was visibly annoyed when we asked for it to be remade when gluten was found in the dish, and then she a completely different order and told us to have that instead. And the sushi dish that was ordered could have easily been turned gluten free. Then, the waitress didn’t come back to check on us, refill our drinks, and we ended up asking a separate waitress for the check. It was an utterly awful experience and a total waste of $50. The sushi itself didn’t seem fresh whatsoever as well, we are both scared that we are going to get sick.

Very hit or miss menu. Peking raviolis are unbelievably good and most of the sushi is as well, the PadThai is God awful possibly the worst thing I've ever eaten anywhere I could smell sour decay as soon as it was brought to me honestly have no clue how it was that gross and apparently some sushi is pre-made since I tried to order a volcano roll without spicy mayo and the chef said it was already mixed in (since when does sushi have mayonnaise in it anyways that's just foul). Over all the food is very good but some items are made very strangely so be careful with what you order.

Food was outstanding and great tasting

Ordered a large take out order at 11:30 for pick up at 12:30. The food was ready and packaged tightly in large tin containers. Drove an hour to a party and the food was still hot! The woman who answered the phone was kind and professional. She read the order back to me and confirmed everything I asked for. The food was delicious!! As this is my daughter’s favorite Chinese food and it was her 40th birthday, she was very happy!! Thank you so much!!

This place is always a pleasure even the patrons rock , when closing time leads to a sing a long you know the food was great and the drinks were served on time with a goldylox mix.

Probably the best Asian food around ! Food is always fresh tasting and well prepped . Highly recommend the sushi ! And the appetizer combination plates are always extremely delicious.

The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were very generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. The drinks were large, not overly expensive, and very well-crafted. The bar area is a bit difficult to find; it is located around the back near the cashier. It may not be the most suitable place to impress a date, but you can expect excellent food, drinks, and service. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive.

I am actually dining now. As a solo diner I guess I am somewhat use to sitting at the worst table, however I do not appreciate being forgotten. I have been here previously and they have two tables that they seem to love putting me in. Both are isolated one actually has the napkins in plastic bags and the other has moi. I waited so long for my waitress to return to take my drink request that my meal was actually cold. Will never come back other than perhaps during the lunch hour as the food is actually very good but when it is cold, not so much

Yang Ming is my family's local go-to for the occasional weekend takeout and New Year's Eve dinner. They have a fantastic selection of food that we have always found to be tasty. Ordering by phone is fast and easy, paying with card is safe, and the food delivery is top-notch. Never had missing food orders, spilled sauces, crushed, or broken containers. I definitely recommend Yang Ming for Chinese and Japanese food.

This place never disappoints. It’s always got good consistent food and if he likes sushi, it’s one of the best hidden gems you might find. They have a great bar with full menu if you’d rather be in a bar and they also have a good dining area where people are spaced out, and not on top of each other. Very good service also.

Honestly my favorite restaurant to go out to eat or get take out. Both my family and my in laws are regulars as well as my and my husband. We will continue to eat here for our birthdays and family parties because the food and service are legitimately both always great.

Most try their avocado fried rice along with kung pao chicken. As well as General Tso's you won't be disappointed..

Absolutely delicious food. this is our new go to place for Chinese food. My friend and I went there for lunch. Everything was hot, delicious, and the service was very friendly.

Have come in for lunch a few times. The pricing for Japanese lunch is about $20 and under and most Chinese food (for lunch) is $15 and under. They clearly do their Chinese food far better than their sushi. Chinese cuisine always consistently good. Good peking ravioli and sezchuan dumplings. Always test a sushi place with the makis. Presentation nice but the quality and prep of the makis is mixed.

Tried them out for the first time on thirsty. Did take out. Dood was subpar at best. Rice was all stuck together like it had been sitting all day. Ordered with shrimp that was barely in there. The food was cold, and i ended up tossing $37 dollars worth of food. Never again there!

Service was good and atmosphere was excellent. The food was very very bland. We got a pu pu platter for the group with an order of pork fried rice. They forgot to bring out our rice and we had to ask for it. The rice was the only thing that had any kind of flavor to it.

The food is just terrible. This place has a band of regulars thatll keep it going forever. The bar is a good time and the service and people are great. But man this food is trash. The regular Chinese appetizers are all cheap, chewy, yucky. I wouldn’t even DARE order sushi here. The few times I’ve gotten an actual entree here it’s never been good. I don’t even take home leftovers. Rest assured, one single mai tai here will have you blackout, every time - if that’s your thing.

Very casual family restaurant. Usually with a good environment and great service. Food and drinks are good and very reasonably priced.

Went for dinner. Got a booth. Had the beef with mixed vegetables. It was very good. Tender beef. Had the Pad Thai it was not good. Hardly any chicken in it, only lots of noodles. Lacking sauce. We did not even bring home the whole plate I did not eat. Was 50/50 on this place until I used the bathroom. Ugh. The hall to the bathroom is cluttered with junk, the door to the bathroom is filthy as you can see in the pictures. If this is what we can see…. I can only imagine “behind the scenes” in the kitchen. Never again.

Pretty nice Chinese/Japanese restaurant and lounge. Kind of place people go regularly for birthdays, first stop on a night out etc. Food was not particularly exceptional, but tasty enough. Their drinks were very good though.

Great bento boxes and lo-mein. The crab Rangoon, shumai and sweet ginger chicken was also very tasty. Would recommend.

Always my first stop when visiting feom Texas. food is excellent. I like the Kao Pao Beef, Pork Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, and the Scallion Pancakes.

Solid bar! Great place to meet and make new friends! My only complaint is that the seafood soup needs more seafood.

Can't come here anymore sadly after 2+ years. Food just doesn't taste good anymore. There's been multiple times where we've found hair in the food. Also felt sick after eating there today. Definitely not coming back.

Love this place. My wife and I were there this past Friday. They were extremely busy, but were still on top of things. Everyone was friendly, even though you could tell they were stressed due to the work load. They were quick with seating us, taking our drink orders and even getting the food to the table. Great team work. Plus the make a great Mai tai.

I love going to Yang Ming’s. I love their food and drinks The chicken fingers lately the batter is not cooked all the way The chicken fingers are my favorite out of anything. Lately I don’t want to order them knowing the batter it’s not fully cooked.

I ordered a small chicken noodle soup to go last night and sorry to say it was the most flavorless soup I ever had. I had to spice it up just to eat. Very bland, no flavor and just very plain. Chicken,noodles in broth. Thats it. I had high hopes but 1st time last time 😒

These guys have an AWESOME Mai Tai!! Was here for a networking event and got to sample a few entrees, and I can say that their whole menu was really good. I'm not usually in Salem/Exeter, but next time I'm around I'll be coming back! Great restaurant to save.

Everything went nicely, food was good as always. We were sitting in the booth that has a tv on the wall above and a mice started walking up the tv cable, it was disgusting, unbelievable 😵😩. I love this place but yesterday was my last day.

After waiting an hour and a half for delivery I attempted to call multiple times, was sent to voice mail and the mailbox was full. Very poor customer service.

Placed an order at 1130am for a 430pm pick up because I was having company over. Picked up at 435pm. $160 order and was ice cold. Had to reheat everything while my company waited. Embarrassing and was not good! Not happy..

Delicious ginger pork and scallions dish ample for 2 people. Very tasty sauce and they included Wasabi. Friendly staff. They were giving out a Chinese calendar.

Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met ordered the pork fried rice for pickup and couldn’t be more pleased with the delicious food and outstanding service! Found my new goto spot when I’m in NH for Chinese!

Yang Ming is the BEST Chinese food restaurant in Salem NH. Great food, great service and the owner May is the nicest, sweetest human being. She takes care of her customers. If you are in the Salem area and want a killer mai tai and some good Chinese food, stop here!

Food has always been mediocre. Lots of mice in the lounge area while we were eating. Expected the food/drinks would be somewhat discounted. Very gross to be eating next to literal rodents. Someone should call the health department; seems like mice might be a common occurrence based on their reaction.

There orange and tangerine chicken was amazing, beef teriyaki was good and their donuts were heated...

Had large shrimp with fresh vegetables as main dish for many years…fish now has medium shrimp with crummy vegetables..,appetizers not as good. Same price. Raise price but don’t serve bad food for value or won’t go….use to be favorite

Location includes sushi bar so you can watch your food being made! Drinks are A1 and thier selection of shots are a fun mixup! They know how to treat customers to a great service

Fantastic food. My partner and I both dislike miso soup with a passion. But we loved theirs. Everything was great. Especially the service. Super friendly and fast. Definitely go there!

We love going to yang ming and sitting in the lounge. My go to is the chicken lettuce wraps but my husband loves the salt and pepper pork chops. Definitely try the ice bowl if you want a delicious adult beverage. The bartenders are always friendly cool little dive spot to have a drink and good Chinese food.

Food is great, staff is friendly. Easy to get to with a good size parking lot. We ordered a pu pu platter for 2, with an extra order of wings, as well as scallion pancakes and Singapore style noodles. Will definitely return.

If you like Chinese and or sushi this place will satisfy. Ordered the house fried rice,( not on the menu) ask for it. The rice was flavorful, it did lack beef. Otherwise, it was a good order. The lounge was a nice atmosphere and had an attentive server. Would recommend for a visit!

Ordered 2 House Special Pad Thai dishes for pick up from this restaurant, ate about 3 bites of the meal and saw a cooked, dead black hornet/wasp in the food. The company was unprofessional, rude and gave us a hard time about getting a refund. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. First and last time ordering here, so disgusting.
