Wow this place is seriously AMAZING! We had the American Gyro which is just with lettuce in it instead of fries and it was absolutely delicious. We are SO impressed with this place. Safe to say this is the best gyro we have ever had. On top of that the atmosphere is really nice, it’s in the middle of a neighborhood with outdoor covered seating, pet friendly and the staff was so nice and helpful. Thank you for such an awesome experience! Update, still amazing. Tried the gyro salad. So fresh, so filling. Thank you!

Best Falafel and Mediterranean Food in Savannah!

I believe either some of their seasoning for chicken or broth or something they use for food preparation has MSG in it. I have MSG sensitivity. Gut issues hit me about 30 minutes after eating there. The food tastes good but - wow. Won’t order anything with chicken again.

Plenty of people love this place. We wanted to as well… but I guess we had an “off day” or something. My moussaka tasted old, like it was on the last hour of the last day before it gets thrown out. My wife’s falafel was nearly burned and cooked down to the size of a marble (if we had compared to the images I’m now seeing online we would have sent it back). Our full-size greek salad had three olives on it and the tomatoes were awful and tasted like chemicals. We would much prefer to support local, but we will be returning to CAVA (national chain) for our mediterranean cravings.

Had a great takeout lunch. Gyros were fresh and delicious. The sides were also very good, as were the desserts. First time here and we will certainly be back!

Ordered a gyro to eat in with a side of spinach rice to go. It was all on a plate to eat in, so I carried it home wrapped in paper. So frustrating when people don't pay attention to what you are saying!

I ordered online. Went there 10 minutes later. No one in line. I'm the only one. It took them another 15 minutes for my order. Food very good. If you are short in time order way ahead. I got hotdog and gyro. They move like a turtle.

This was our first visit to Yia's Yia's but will not be our last. The gyro's were so delicious - lots of meat and delicious. The restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait time was very quick! We took our food to a local brewery to eat and it was still warm when we got to our destination. The deserts are also wonderful - large selection and oh so good!

First let me tell you that I came in 20 minutes before it closed for a gyro and they were still so sweet and polite. I bought my son a meatball sandwich and my son said it was good. The gyro was fresh. The veggies were crunchy and super fresh. They stuffed it with lots of meat. Generous with the meat. As i waited for my food I looked over to my left and saw amazing desserts. I asked for the New York cheese cake and it was the bomb. Omg. Super fresh. Fluffy. Delicious. The best. Prices are good. Affordable. Thank you.

The outside and inside were clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was easy to ask questions. As a 1st time customer, I felt valued. I did not think about taking a picture of the food. The food was hot in temperature, fresh, and there was nothing left. I look forward to visiting again to test out the consistency of the food and service.

We placed a large catering order for our bachelorette group to be delivered on our first night at the house. Food was delivered right on time by Billie and set up perfectly for us to enjoy a buffet style meal. We gorged ourselves on the food that night and had great leftovers to carry us through the weekend when we needed a snack. Couldn’t say enough good things about the food. We were all exclaiming how delicious it was. Billie was the sweetest to work with and we were so happy to support a local business!

Yia Yia's is my favorite lunch spot around Savannah area! I have not found a casual authentic Greek restaurant that can top this. Portions are great, and it is easy to pickup or dine in. I love that there is also a parking spot. Super tasty & fresh!

Food is always excellent. The last time I went (beginning of January) ... There was 4 of us and only 2 in our group got our food. After 20 minutes I asked about the food ordered for the other 2 in our group. ... It was forgotten about, and they had to immediately make it. However, this is not a common thing to happen at the restaurant.

Absolutely best food and the service is AWESOME too. They are always happy and willing to answer questions about their various items on the menu. And let me say the Spanacopita (I hope I spelled it right) is perfection. The spinach is not bitter and is like butter melting in your mouth. There is just not enough space to talk about all the wonderful things on the menu so please go try this place out!

Live in Atlanta and travel to Savannah to visit. One stop is always Yia Yia's for an American Gyro and fries! The pita bread was so fresh, filled with delicious gyro meat. Also love the pastries! When friends ask where to go in Savannah I always recommend Yia's! In fact, was recently in Vegas and was talking to folks from Savannah. they also frequent Yia Yia's! Great family owned business who care about their customers and community.

The hummus and pita are so amazing!!! I love the vegetarian sampler plate. Then I always have a hard time deciding between which dessert to get, a Greek pastry, one of their fun cheesecakes or whatever new flavor ice cream they have 😀

I've been going to Yia Yia's Kitchen for a long time and am a big fan of the food, service, and atmosphere. The staff is always welcoming and willing to help with any questions, especially if I can't pronounce the names of the delicious pastries. The gyros are the best in town, and if you want add a little kick ask for the feisty feta. The store is always clean and inviting and the food is served fast and delicious. It always a treat when the owner is there, he loves to chat and take care of his customers just like they were family. I would recommend Yia Yia's Kitchen to everyone.

Went to Yia Yia's for lunch and decided to try something new. The service was amazing. They suggested the Chicken Souvlaki Salad, and it was delicious. Great food, outstanding service, and the marketplace has a nice selection. 10 out of 10. Definitely check them out.

I always order the American Gyro. The meat is delicious and very well portioned. I would definitely recommend YaYas. The staff is friendly and patient with me while I order even though I still end up getting the same thing.

Yia yia kitchen is the worst Greek restaurant you can ever go to.I have never in my 40 year of life experience this food quality it was so bad.that I felt like I was eating food from a trash bag.The food was so bad it had me Throwing up and having diarrhea for at least 3 day those were the worst day of my life.I would never recommend this place unless you like eating food from the trash and having diarrhea for 3 days.The service is also very bad.They take a long time to give you there trash food and there personal also need to be given a lot of training because they always look mad and annoyed I was just trying to have a good time but they just took that away from me.I am never coming here never in my lifetime I have left.

I have recently moved into the area and as a person from Greek descent this food is the most disgusting and Un flavorful, I've ever tasted and is NOT traditional at all this is a DISGRACE for this restaurant to be owned by a "Greek family." Aside from that, the restaurant is an overall mess they have package food on some shelves that look like they've been there since the restaurant opened up, trash everywhere, the employees are rude and unhelpful, and the bathrooms are disgusting there was human fecal matter on the floor like what?? The owner is a degenerate; he condones people to be around his restaurant to make it have an even worse name that it has already gained it's such a DISGRACE that this restaurant with 4.6 stars is being awarded with good reviews, Do Better.

We live near Yia Yia's and are very disappointed in how they handled an event. High schoolers frequent the restaurant after school, and some stay until 5 or 6pm until parents pick them up. 3 high school teenage boys ganged up and started laughing, pointing, and calling my 6 year old names from across the street while she played in her front yard. When we approached Yia Yia's and asked that the boys not be allowed there, instead of supporting their neighbor and client who frequents their store, they ignored the request and allowed it to continue. In fact, they felt the need to support these boys and told them they could come inside if they didn't feel comfortable staying outside. Our daughter is now afraid to play in her own front yard. I ask you do not support a business who condones bullying, and puts a blind eye to it.

I got a gyro when I went to this restaurant it was honestly the worst gyro I’ve tasted and I’m not even Greek I was there for a bit and I witness these kids that were at least 15-18 grown kids fooling around the restaurant making fun of people , it’s such a shame how the owner of the restaurant chose not to do anything to kick them fatherless kids out his restaurant , aside from that I saw that they had some package produce on their shelves whilst looking at it I noticed one of the bags had what it looked like a pubic hair! This is absolute mad I will not be coming back to this establishment this is disgusting

We have tried most, if not all, the gyro places in Savannah and this is by far our favorite. We come often! The fries are the BEST. They put enough sauce on the gyro, and the bread has been fresh and not soggy like some can get. The service is always great!

Ordered online, recieved a text saying my order was ready. Show up, my order isn't ready. Wait around 10 minutes, order is ready, cool. Get where I'm going take a huge bite... my receipt, my even my box says no onions.... why is my gryo full of onion???? Like come on. If my order isn't ready don't text me and say it is, and then my order is WRONG. The food is usually great here, but the service is not.

Ordered via UberEats. Food was decent, but they did not include silverware! (yes we checked the box online to include it). Our hotel’s front desk didn’t have any when we asked, and when we called the restaurant back they gave an insincere apology and asked us what hotel we were staying at. We gave the name, then the person on the phone responded in a tone: I’ve never heard of that place before. Too much effort for a few measly forks. Not worth it.

Excellent hummus amd falafel, mediocre geek salad, and disappointing chocolate coverd cannoli. Outside was soft from being kept in a cooler.

What a great little jewel for Savannah. Everything is worthwhile and their dessert display leaves you feeling you'd want sweets before dinner. The staff is warm and the food is delightful. Really nice to sit outside and dine.

Purchased a great Gyro, Feisty Feta, i think. $14.70. Liked it. a Fellow Tour Guide knew about it, and said they are a bit Proud. Otherwise , i will go back for special needs, occasions.

we got an American gyro and a Greek gyro, both very good. The ingredients that make up the wrap were fresh and delicious, especially the vegetables. Their battered fries are very very good too. Dolmas as a side are really unique in flavor that I personally love. For dessert we got a chocolate dipped canoli, a chocolate baklava cheesecake and a peanut butter butter brownie cake. They were all good.
