Food is not truly china or Thai... Gravy was less in quantity. Service was excellent.

Food is superb. It looks like small bites but filling. Most people don't make it to desert, but if you save room, definitely try their deep-fried cheese cake. You won't regret it. They do offer lunch specials. If you go in during busy times, don't expect too much from your server. I was spoken to twice: once to order and once to close my bill, no check-ins in-between.

Best Asian food in the Glenwood area and OUTSTANDING service too. We love the team there. Always on point. Thanks for so many great meals and experiences. See ya soon!

A decently good restaurant for Asian food. Nothing really blew me away, but if you're craving Asian food, this restaurant can scratch that itch pretty well.

They start you out with free edamame (delicious!) and finish your meal with fortune cookies! The food is a great price with big portions, and the service and atmosphere are great. I'm not local but I would definitely come back if I were.

Cute bistro with a very broad menu. The wait staff was so nice, and we ordered just drinks and appetizers. All of them were tasty. We ate out on the patio and the service was still good. Recommend the Thai spring rolls and the pork fried wontons. Very yummy!

Arrived, ordered tuna salad and beef zheng pad thai. Drinks arrived, however 45 minutes later no food. Tables that ordered after us were eating main courses after starters. When asked 'were food was' had to repeat the order to the waitress, alarm bells started ringing, was told 'coming right up.' Waited another 10 minutes and then left. Waitress had apparently 'forgotten our order'

The food was great. I have a lot of picky eaters, and they also loved it. Thai green tea was impressive.

We have being going there for years. The food portions have deteriorated. The chicken fried rice portion is smaller and with very little chicken in it, compared to before.

I am a bit newer to the valley and am so happy I get get such delicious Sushi here! Zhengs has yet to disappoint!

Everything we ordered was excellent. The orange chicken and general chicken, and green curry, miso soup was excellent. Definitely coming back.

Excellent Tempura Shrimp Roll with Eel Sauce! Very much worth it!

Mind blowingly delicious. Gluten-free menu is delightful!! Had a delicious ground pork with lettuce wraps appetizer that I still dream about as we were just stopping through on a road trip.

Well, they were very nice...the lime was fresh...that's all I have to say.

This is one of the best vegan Chinese places I have been to. Lots of options and the food is flavorful. The avocado roll was to die for. I was with my non - vegan family and they loved it too. Our sever was nice and friendly I can't wait to be back.

My husband and I had an early dinner around 5:30. The place was pretty full even that early. We had to wait 5 min or so for a table. Our waiter was great. We ordered a sushi roll and tom ka gai soup as appetizers. For dinner, my husband had the red curry shrimp, and I had the green curry chicken. Every dish was wonderfully prepared and with great flavors. The hot green tea was filled up throughout our meal. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely go back.

Love this place! It's the only restaurant I've found to get authentic Egg Foo Young in Colorado! I'm from Chicago, and Zheng's New York style Egg Foo Young is exactly how I expect it to look and taste. It comes with a generous number of shrimp with the bean sprouts and stuffing all inside the 3 large omelet patties... like it's supposed to be! And the brown gravy is so dang good! Used to come here for the sushi (my wife and daughter still do), but since I can't find this quality of authentic Egg Foo Young anywhere else in all of Denver metro area, it's all get here now. I'm kinda glad I can't find it at home in Denver, because Zheng's makes it just that much more special when visiting Glenwood.

LOVED the Thai fried rice. can't say the same about the pad Thai or the hot and spicy soup. The California roll was also pretty good.

What can I say... I was super excited to get to try the 880 people leave a average 4.4 stars reviews chinese restaurant in a tourist area, but I was got so many disappointments from so many different aspects. You might think I have too high expectations but I don't, I just need to get what's the menus will/can offer to me. 1st is about the seating next to kitchen and I can smell that oily smell (not fresh) from the kitchen, the dining area is humid and feel not clean bc the cap of soy sauce is having dust around it. 2nd I ordered kid menus for my son a $3.50 orange juice and a $8 chicken Taranaki low mein with no chicken??? And I felt like they just cooked the noodle and just pour sauce on it for him, I didn't see a side of stirring on wok. This restaurant kid menus is so over the sky, they charge drink $3.50+ food $8+ dessert $3.50, basically really over price with what they can offer to kid and parents the one will have to pay for not decent food to feed our kid. (And on the main menus Low Mein with protein of your choice only cost $12.50 I meant, yes we are traveling should not nickel and cent while we travel but I just can't understand how pricey this can be) 3rd My husband ordered a green curry with huge disappointment 😞 with those veggies not supposed to be in green curry😑 and missing so many needed ingredients in this curry dish which the main well known on curry dish is lemongrass ( not even mentioned other ingredients). And the dish have no flavor of any source of a curry dish need to have, it just a dish throw some COCONUT MILK and stir what ever they have a their kitchen to called a green curry dish for their customer. 4th My Volcano Shimp is just sweet and sour sauce not even tasted any spicy in my dish, I have to ask for chilli pepper on a side. The only thing that they well cooked their Jasmine rice and food came out fast after ordered. Their menus try to cover so many different countries's food like Sushi, Thai food and Chinese, to me their Chinese not tastes like Chinese food, their Thai food not tastes like Chinese food, will it be nice to offer what you advertise to tourist instead of "trick" them with a huge menu, and get disappointed after dine in, or focus on a certain good and be good at it. This is my thoughts after I visited this restaurant, choose your dine in wisely.

If you want real authentic Asian food, this is not the place for it. Portions were nice and big, but the food itself was not authentic. Just for food, i would not go there ever again. The atmosphere was tense. Right as we walked in, we asked for the menu to check out prices and see if this is where we wanted to eat or not. And when we finished reviewing it, we told the host that we would be staying and we're ready to be seated. The host turned at me and with anger told me that she already told someone else in our group that she doesn't have any room for us and we have to wait. We didn't mind waiting but what is up with the attitude? The whole time there, there was tension in the air. We tried small talk with her but in response only received strained 'yes/no' answers. The waitresses were nice. Tried their best. But overall, very unpleasant experience. It was our 1st and last time we'll ever step foot in this place.

Enjoyed dinner only a short walk from the hotel. Fresh and delicious sushi was quickly delivered. Free edamame appetizer was a nice surprise. Friendly and fast service. Clean restaurant. Nice and cozy space. Not too expensive for the area. A good choice.

Trouble in the kitchen forr our visit or perhaps our server misplace our order. When we were seated, There were only two tables seated. The place filled up. We were the last to be served. Appetizer and mains delivered at the same time. Lovely presentation for the Thai basil chicken, but it was delivered cold. No water after the first glass. Folks around us seemed to enjoy their meals. Perhaps the chow fun provided some challenges. The sushi was very good. The inexperienced staff seemed to be overwhelmed. Admittedly we were hungry, and it tough to see all the folks around you dining when you were there prior to their arrival. One or two would be OK. The whole place, not OK. Not acknowledging it, really not OK. Previous reviews were not representative of our experience.

Eager to partake in the offerings of this gastronomic haven, I was, unfortunately, confronted with a logistical conundrum—a dearth of available tables, necessitating an unexpected pivot towards the prospect of a takeout repast. Undeterred by the temporal inconvenience, I embarked upon a culinary journey that included the kaleidoscopic ensemble of a green curry, a combat roll, a happy roll, and Thai vegetable spring rolls. The sushi rolls, as harbingers of culinary craftsmanship, epitomized meticulous preparation. Each roll, a testament to the artisanal prowess at play, exhibited a symphony of flavors, expertly portioned and marked by an unparalleled freshness that resonated with each delectable bite. It was an orchestration of culinary excellence that left an indelible impression. I can’t say enough good things about this is place. It was busy when we arrived and had to wait a few minutes but the service was fast and good once we were seated. The portions are a decent size and the food was good. .

Walked in and sat down at the bar and the bartender proceeded to ignore me while continuing to serve others who came up to the bar after me. I would have like to have eaten here but since the staff refused to even acknowledge my presence I had to leave and eat at the restaurant next door.

Got the takeout and it was amazing

$20 for a premade frozen meal. Veggies were soggy meat was questionable. My group ordered rice wth each of our dishes, we got one huge bowl of rice to share. Staff was openly doing shots with kitchen staff and left open beverages of their own behind the bar resting on the liquor shelves🤮 Drinks were weird.

Took my grandson there for dinner. Was delicious.

Never have I EVER been so pleased with a restaurant! Excellent service complimented absolutely exquisite entrees for our lunch. Madras curry and Thai basil tofu on a perfectly cooked brown rice, seasoned blackened tofu appetizer and lettuce wraps were all amazing. The chef knows how to prep tofu and the taste and texture were wonderful. Knowledgeable server helped navigate a gluten allergy and vegan dietary restrictions. This restaurant provides solace for refined and adventurous palates. Tasty! Lovely atmosphere and nice wine bar.

The flavors of the four dishes that we ordered were all unique and amazingly delicious! The service was excellent (a young blond gentleman). Our booth was comfortable- we were glad that we arrived early, as the restaurant really filled up. Rightly so! It is definitely a rare find. For such awesome food, the prices were extremely good. A wonderful surprise as we also live in a mountain resort town, where the prices for that meal would have been double…. Highly recommend.

A really pleasant experience. We got an early NYE dinner here and really enjoyed it. Super gluten free friendly (they have a whole Gluten free menu), which was awesome for my wife who has Celiacs disease. The service was great and all the food was good and fresh. I thought everything on the menu had a good price point as well.

Service was above average! The atmosphere was really nice! Food was not quite average. Came out quick, looked a little gelled upon arrival, it was barely warm. Spice is very mild even for General Tao. Very light on the beef in the Bangkok beef. The lettuce wraps and soup were the highlight.

This place was great - staff was wonderful and accommodating. Parking was easy. Nice little bar in front. Small and large tables to accommodate all size parties. Noise level was good - no trouble hearing our family or the staff. Large menu with something for everyone.

Me and my wife had green curry and the pad Thai. It’s not that they were not up to par they were actually gross! How this place got 4.4 stars I have no idea! Waste of money! Waiter was really nice!

Great selection of entrees! Went two nights in a row while on a business trip. Had sushi the first evening, and wide rice noodle dish the second night. Both meals were delicious and the staff is great and courteous.

This is my favorite Asian restaurant in town. Food is good, service is quick and they usually have space for you. They also have a patio for the warmer season. They pick up the phone and give you a complimentary serving of edamame if you dine in.

We have been eating here for years. They have a gluten free menu with many menu items we love. We do not live in Glenwood Springs, but we stop in every chance we get. The menu has evolved over the years to have an extensive contempary variety while still keeping our favorites. This a wonderful independent restaurant! Years ago, I know they tried to source as much as possible locally. As diverse as the menu is with fish, this would be difficult in Colorado. The bar area always seems to have locals. Always a good sign!

We ordered Sriracha Tofu, pad Thai noodles, lettuce wrap and Basil tofu. Everything was dry and blend.

If I could give more stars, I would - Zheng's is a premium place for Asian cuisine. Dinner began with a serving of edamame to keep us happy while we waited for the entrées. I opted for a green salad topped with rice noodles, plus an eel-and-avocado roll, and both were excellent. My spouse ordered the NY Shrimp Egg Foo, a house specialty, and was astonished at the generous portion that came, served with brown rice on the side. The rice was needed to soak up the rich sauce on the Foo! No dinner is complete without dessert--ours was a shared portion of Mochi, three small fried ice cream balls. One was Green Tea ice cream, one Mango, and the last contained a Japanese treat, Red Bean ice cream. The meal was reasonably priced as well! Very pleased with our choice.

My husband's family are regulars here and when we visit we crave this place!! This time I was here I ordered something other then my regular general's chicken and did not like it. Jake, a waiter noticed I was not enjoying it and got me general's chicken! I didn't even have to ask! He was so kind and deserves the recognition! I love you, zhangs!!!!

Zheng's is wonderful - always consistently wonderful meals and wonderful service. Lichee cocktail is fun and the curries are amazing. Everything on the menu is fresh and presentation is beautiful.

Great food, beautifully cooked, huge choice. Only gripe: there was too much to eat and we should have shared a plate between us.

Picked up food on lunch break. Ordered traditional pad Thai and side Tom kha, pad Thai had little to no flavor. Needs more sauce to give that pad Thai tang. It was like there was no sauce on it at all. Soup was bland as well. First and probably last time. Not worth the money.

Zheng forever! They have great prices, awesome service even when short-staffed! Alfonso is super funny and very polite, don’t know the bartenders names but very extremely friendly! Kitchen staff serves great portions and we are always leaving with leftovers for lunch next day. Thank you, Zheng crew for making our dinner delightful and support the locals with your pricing!

Save yourselves and don't go here. The staff had poor teamwork, did not communicate, and were argumentative with the customers. Waited 30+ mins for our food to only get one sushi roll. One server came to give us togo boxes when we didn't have any food/plates on the table. We saw multiple tables get their food when they came in after us so we had enough of their nonsense and decided to find another resturant. In the process of trying to check out, the staff were combative and asked multiple times if we wanted our entrees to dine in or to go. They could not comprehend that we no longer wanted to continue to wait for our food that they forgot about. The staff also blamed their kitchen for the mishap since no one wanted to take accountability for their mistake and poor service. Our server confronted us with "I thought you wanted the sushi first" then proceeded to his manager with "they don't want the food!" and forcefully shoved the receipt and pen in hands and stormed into the kitchen. A lesson for the staff's deaf ears: treat your customer with respect and you'll have a successful business. The whole resturant was watching your unprofessional behavior and disregard to your customers which leaves a really bad impression.

Zheng was an unexpectedly very nice experience. The complimentary edamame was a nice gesture. I tried the hot sake and that was worth it. The lichee cocktail is worth a try as well. We tried rice noodles and curry and I would rank all of them in the same order. Amazing desert as well.

Some delicious Thai food for very reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and the outside seating was pleasant. The wife really enjoyed the house pad Thai and I devoured my Singapore noodles. Definitely coming back.

We are visiting from out of town and found this place online. We weren’t disappointed. They bring complimentary edamame to start. The menu is quite extensive. We chose the pad Thai and decided it was better than what we eat at home. The crab Rangoons were very tasty. Service was great and the food came out fast and piping hot. Highly recommend!

I've been to Zheng once a month for 5+ years while coming to Glenwood Springs for work, and it is my go to restaurant in the city!

The lady who works up front , let our food get cold when it was already done , because she wanted to show some other customers 15 pictures of her dog that she has at home…..smh!

We went on Saturday for Sashimi. It was so good when returned the next day for the same. The best Sashimi we have had in ten years! Really a treasure in Glenwood Springs!
