When I first arrived the person who took my order mumbled frequently so I couldn’t hear them. Then they proceeded to make me feel bad for not hearing them clearly. AND TODAY WAS MY BIRTHDAY. Then to top all of it off they forgot my friend’s drink, THAT SHE PAID FOR. Worst. Customer. Service. EVER.

Food was poorly made. Most came out cold and mushy. Shakes were very watery and burger was stale and cold. Did not enjoy my experience. Will be going to other location in the valley. Not worth my time or money here

Yo had to place yo order on a computer, then it wasn't clear what to do for the drinks. The employees walked around like zombies, the one to speak to us was extremely rude.

Their cod and chips are my fav!! And the tater is the best around! I always ask for my fries and fish to be separate so the fries don't get soggy from the fish and only once did that not happen.... but, they were EXTREMELY busy. When I ask for it there is never a hesitation, just a sure, we can do that! I probably get that 2-3 times a month. My go to cod place!

This restaurant is awful. Service is simply terrible. They take forever to get your food out and they over charge you for no reason. I made a large order and Ryan overcharged me. When asking why he said that he was trying to save me money buy making things in a combo. He tried 3 different times to show me what he was saying only to realize that I was correct. When confronted, Ryan offer no apology instead said he was a great worker and I had no right to tell him how to do this job. Unbelievable! I will not use this restaurant again. At the end of the transaction Ryan was owing me over $7. It's sad to see how people can't accept when they are wrong and instead give you attitude.

We went to zips to pick up dinner for my wife and I and ordered two paoa Joe's, medium tater. Medium onion ring and a medium raspberry shack. We received 23 taters forv$3.99, five onion rings for $4.79. You would think for $ 25.00 plus we would at least get a decent meal. I was really disappointed in the meal in total and will have second thoughts about going back.

I was in there with my family yesterday, and I was treated rudely by a young lady working the front counter. Then they messed our order up(which happens) so my husband went up and asked about our missing drink, even with the receipt she didn’t want to give it to us but ended up doing so. I asked her if I could have the code to the restroom, she said she had to let me in. Well then she kinda turned away after helping us and stood there talking to the other two employees there. so I had to loudly ask if I could please use the restroom. I ordered a salad with ranch and got given tarter sauce TWICE. Plus my salad was super soggy. Point is, this was our first time in here and we will NOT be giving our money back to this location. Poor costumer service.

One ice cream cone, and it took 15 minutes.

Please get better customer service. No need to wait 20min for an ice cream cone.

Shane was wonderful, the cashier seemed absolutely miserable. Greatful for the gluten free bun option.

I had to wait 24 minutes in the drive-through, with only 2 cars ahead of me. I asked specifically for tartar sauce, and of course, they forgot it, even though it was marked on my receipt. This is not fast food. I got a couple of emo kids who didn't want to be there and didn't attempt a smile once. This happened before and I remembered why I went to the new Dairy Q a block down now.

Their food is always great & the people working there were kind.

There cashier Taylor is a very kind guy. Food was pretty good. There fish is the best! I would definitely go again for their fish. Prices are good as well.

Everything I asked for on my burger was wrong, asked for three different sauces, got three of the same kind. Airway zips is better👀

Whatever meat they use here and cheese for their cheeseburgers are amazing! Different taste then downtown location and northwest boulevard. Go for the triple cheese burger! I would gladly die eating that burger! The only thing I wish I could do with this location is to buy it so no matter what it wouldn't go out of business just from how great their burgers taste!!

You get a combo with fries and have to pay extra for sauce; and they charge you for tax on the sauce too. Youre better off going up the street to the other.

Nasty I am from out of state and was told I had to try this place. I have had microwave food better than this.

Just a heads up to the management/owners: your employees are closing early and turning customers away. I was just there at 7:50pm and was told by two employees to go away because they were closed.

I haven't been to this location in years, but as I stopped there today, their service and quality are still the same.

I was really excited to try Zips especially because this location has gluten free buns. They seemed understaffed so had to wait a while to get my food. I paid just over $30 for two meals and they weren’t anything too spectacular. The fries had no seasoning and the burgers could’ve used more sauce. It was nice getting the opportunity to have a fast food burger since they offered gluten free.

I was so disappointed with the fries !!! Over cooked, and the oil tasted old!!! I will only go to the Zip's in Rathdrum, where my son lives,never disappointed, when I go there

They r Hella Jewish on their ice cream cones, if u ask for it to be put in a cup cause the ice cream is a little too soft for this weather they will put between a 1/4 and 1/2 of a kids cup with ice cream and just set an empty cone on top and that's for the regular size ice cream come and that's the biggest one they have.. I feel like It wast a waste of money and that I got ripped off 100% at least the other ones I go to fill the kids cup at least 3/4 full and puts some ice cream I'm the cone than puts it on top.. I won't be going back there to waste my money and get ripped off.. I pay ove $3 for a regular ice cream cone I should get what I pay for

It's supposed to be fast food. It's not fast in the drive thru no matter which one you go to. Thrifty Scottsman is the same food, but cheaper.

You only get 2 pieces of dried out fish and fries. But they charge for 3? Never again!

I ordered shrimp and fries from a very rude employed when I finally got my food. I asked him for cocktail sauce and tartar. He said it was in the bag and slammed the window shut period. This is by far the worst zips. There is nothing in the bag wrong food and still cold.

Where do I start...cold burgers with dry bread or cold fries with no salt. It was around 7 pm, I got the family meal, 5 hamburgers and a tub of fries and a extra tub of fries, the burgers bread was dried out and the burgers was cold, we pulled off most of the bread and 2 of us ate the burger, the fries was cold and unsalted, I go there frequently but this place will be another place on my...not no but never list

Very basic drive-through or sit in fast food restaurant. Nothing fancy, but they do have fried mushrooms and a good selection of milkshakes.

We ordered at 6:19 and sat in the drive through for 20 minutes. After a 5 minute drive home my fries were cold and soggy and my husband’s onion rings were cold. His burger was dry and hard. Worst food ever.

Hot dog was not even grilled for the doggonner. Onion rings were a greasy mess. It will be a while before we go back. And we spent $30 for this.

For $30 for two meals, id prefer if the burgers weren't burnt and the fries were actually cooked. This Zips used to be decent, but now it seems like no one cares anymore.

Sullivan , you guys failed. You forgot our drink, got our order wrong, and our food was COLD when we got it. When I call, the manager insisted that we had to bring the food back in order to receive a refund for the missing items. I've always loved zips but this was a huge disappointment .

Service was not very good, I was left at the pay window with no one there for way too long. No honey mustard on my chicken bacon Swiss, and my milkshake was not the right one and/or not mixed. Not one of the better locations.

We ordered 5 burgers and 3 fries and we requested some tartar sauce. How do you consistently only give out 1 or 2 tarter sauces regardless of the size of the order. Don’t be cheap or lazy.

Price, service, speed, friendliness and food is great. Seems like the employees stick around longer than normal also.

Not that great the last few times I’ve been there, one of the female managers has been rude and has intentionally made sure she hand gives us are food now all because we told her she missed something in are order yet she swore up and down she didn’t miss anything proceeded to show her and had an attitude when she was proven wrong

Service in general for places like this has gone down hill over the past couple years but I'm getting really tired of the "short staffed" excuse they use to deny you service. Went in there tonight well within their posted hours, ordered food and was asked "for here or to go?" For here, I said. They said nothing. I don't like taking my food to go because it's cold by the time I get home. They prepare my food and then tell me I have to take it to go because of "staff shortage" and they'll be closing the dining room. I ask how does me sitting at a table require more staff? I told them I will be sitting at a table to eat my food. Then I noticed now that I'm getting the stink-eye from people in the kitchen. Nothing like being made to feel unwelcome and a burden. Been going to this location for years but this is the last time.

My wife and i each had a cheeseburger and a milkshake. perfect combo for today. always happy people

How this place is still open amazes me. I knew a few people who worked here and man did they have some horror stories! I will NEVER eat at this zips it’s probably not safe and defiantly not sanitary.

Worst zips location by far in Spokane. Went once and got still frozen fish. Then tonight try again and twice I was charged for stuff I didn’t order. They didn’t apologize. Gave my money back, but no apology. BOWDISH location by far the better of the valley locations.

So it's Zip's which means most know what they're getting into. The staff working in the afternoon of 12/17/2022 were very nice and did a great job at getting orders out to both the drive-thru and dining room customers. The food was hot and as good as Zip's gets although the fries and cod could have spent another 45 seconds down. The dining room was a little messy but again it's Zip's and this is an older store. Bottom line if you're in the mood for Zip's and in the neighborhood of this location go ahead and stop by.

Do not undersell Zips. Their Shakes are the best, like their Tartar Sauce

They never get our order right. I waited 30 min and the girl just ghosted the drive thru for 10 min yesterday. Absolutely ridiculous that they can’t find good staff at this location to save their lives. Will drive to any other zips over this one.

Been eating zips all my life but found out I have coeliac a while back. Realized tonight they have gf buns!! It’s so good. I’m so excited.

came in 25 minutes before closing they gave me a burger that had been sitting for at least an hour ordered large fry and got about 8 fries this place is run down and makes sense why they cant find employees go to any other Zips!

Apparently it's okay to feed customers undercooked food. When asked to fix the issue I get more undercooked food. Fries are not meant to be translucent and saturated in oil. Stop pulling them early because you are busy! Glad I was able to get hot cooked fries with my cold burger!

I used to love Zips food. I’m not sure what has happened but it’s changed for the worst. I have stopped going. It’s to bad. Used to be the best.

Maybe not Zip's fault, but the fish & chips were absolutely horrible. Due to new, inflationary pricing, this was really hard to 'stomach' - - literally. I'm Not going to pay these prices specifically and in general for fast food much, if at all.

Worst zips I've ever been to. I never leave reviews that are negative. But it's sad that I ordered a meal for myself and my girlfriend only to get home to find out that my order is wrong (they missed the fry's). No big deal I'll just head out and grab what was missed and not even complaine about it. Left my house whent back to this zips and then ordered a tub of Fry's extra crispy. I get home thinking everything would be good.... And here I am with fry's that are old and squishy, not only that the tub is half full. Not to mention I had to walk-in for them to fix the order before I left the first time. They forgot my girlfriends ice cream, soda, and fries to begin with. Working at a burger joint isn't hard I know from experience I worked at zips when I was in highschool. It's just sad that the standards aren't held anymore in one of Eastern Washington most iconic Burger spots.

I never leave reviews but I just left the drive thru, there was no line but I had to wait a couple minutes before being greeted, which was no big deal. They didn’t have ranch but offered jalapeño ranch instead. I ordered mozzarella sticks that weren’t even cooked. The cheese itself was not cooked and the breading was lukewarm. They didn’t give the ranch but instead tarter sauce, not ideal for mozzarella sticks.

I don't usually get burgers here. Their fish & chips is great! Milkshakes are awesome and the tarter sauce is the best! Drive-thru service is fast & efficient!

What can you say about Zips...decades of great food and wonderful service! Always clean with a winning attitude! Burgers and fries are great, and the fish and chips...wow!

I should've just walked out before ordering! Very dysfunctional, nobody came to the counter to help us right away. The cook was constantly yelling for help and yelling at her coworker's to take our order. There was so much cursing. (I had my grandkids with me). Since we were already inside we put in our orders. Our chicken strips and fries were so greasy we just couldn't eat it. As we were getting ready to leave I noticed the kitchen area, how dirty it looked. That's when I seen another employee sweeping and touching garbage but never washing her hands🤢. We're Never coming here to eat again!!

So went back tonight and what a difference from my last review!!!! Food (3 dbl cheese burgers and fries) was to served in less than 7 min. It was hot, well cooked and tasty! NICE JOB 3 weeks prior....... So hit a bad night, it took 1hr from the payment window to getting food at the other window. Good news burgers were hot and good (except 1 slightly undercooked). Bad news they must have loaded the fries first cause they were cold. Actually went in the store from the drive through to see what was up. No explanation other than the food was now ready. The other cars ahead seemed to go ok. Took 10min from the order speaker to the payment window then all slowed way down. So there you go. We said a prayer for the staff that they get through the rest of the night ok.

Pay your worker better! With such a big franchise around town! Why dont owners improve the conditions of the work place!

I wanted to go out for a nice lunch at zips, i enjoyed the food it was served hot and fresh. Always love zips crinkle cut fries with fry sauce!! Staff was really friendly and made it a great experience for me 😊

This place is just notorious for taking forever. My most recent visit I had only two cars in front of me and was in line for 18 minutes. There is a reason I rarely have gone there, just happened to be in the area. Food was acceptable when I got it. Fries were already getting cold.

All I ever see is bunch of kids hanging out. And that's the service ur going to get. Food is inconsistent, service is the worst I've experienced in this whole town. Anytime of day inside or drive thru takes 30 min to get ur food. I'm a huge fan of every other zips I've been too except this one...

It's Zip's. If you're from here, you love it or not. I love it and I'm not gonna Apologize!!! Just put your pretentious nature to the side and munch a double. Do it in your car, alone and in the dark. Make a mess and don't give af. Celebrate deliciously unhealthy. Personally, I eat all my feelings in the Zip's parking lot. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Burgers are always tasty, tots are good as is their fry sauce. My only complaint is the customer relations and interactions with the public are sub par. No smiles, no thank you come again, nothing, just frowns and dirty looks as if they really don’t want to be working at all. Sad, Zips has always been a great place. Amazing how you can travel West on Sprague a few miles to another Zips and be treated great!

This place is a mess the person at the counter was weird and didn’t get anything I told him were deaf and he didn’t listen got our order wrong 3 times and forgot our drink when I got my sundae it was watered down and k gave it to his coworker and said what is this I wanted a sundae and that she said I’m so sorry I’ll fixe that for you and started yelling at him took use forever to get our stuff and get out of there

Pickles were dry and my burgers had dry buns and mold on them (granted I had already eaten 2 before I noticed) next thing I know I got food poisoning and I’m bed bound…..I’m absolutely disgusted and I’m writing this review from bed…..I’d been puking all day and I missed work and my step kid missed school

My father and I both got sick after eating here - 12 hours later and it’s the only thing we ate in common and we do not reside in the same house so definitely not a stomach bug.

Absolute worst Zips I’ve ever been to. Absolute worst. Orders are never right and employees will literally argue with you and slam the window in your face if you demand they fix their error. I’ve been in this store more than once and the order is never right. Take the extra drive further west to a different Zip’s and avoid the issues.

I hadn't been into Zip's for years and not much had changed. Food and prices were both good.

Stopped here for a quick bite, had a cheese burger and it was great. Only bad thing was they didn't have any onion rings at that time, truck hadn't come yet. Now I can say I've stopped at Zip's!

I waited in Line and was expecting to have a decent meal but was disappointed with the two cCheese Burgers that were on the menu. There was no pickles and the buns Were dry. As far as I'm concerned Zips Don't got it!!
