If you love great food and price is not an issue for you than Zoe’s is the place for you! It’s a little pricey but I say that to say you’re getting your moneys worth and every dollar of it! The food is phenomenal! The owner is a Master Somm and his pairing dinners are out of this world. Plus you’ll meet some great people if you do the combined dinner table which was fun! The last meal me and the wife had I ordered the Wagyu burger and omg my taste buds exploded!!! 10/10 would recommend! The wine selection is too notch and the prices are reasonable for the bottles you’d want to open. Cannot recommend Zoe’s enough!

It was our 7th wedding anniversary and we had dinner there last night. The food was fantastic, service was impeccable and wine was amazing. And they found out it was our anniversary and gave us a card signed by everyone in the restaurant. Plus the owner came over to talk to us for 10 minutes. An outstanding experience. My husband took me to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was the best decision!We loved it, can't wait to go back. Food was so fresh, well seasoned and simply delicious. I honestly loved it.

What an experience! Dining at Zoe's was the best tasting food I've had since I ate at Gordon Ramsey's Steak restaurant in Las Vegas! Had a seat at the Chef's table to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday (courtesy of my son-in-law). Not only did we have the most exquisite dinner, but we got to see Executive Chef Paul Benton at work. The food was delicious, the kitchen flowed, the atmosphere was relaxing, The waitress Heather was so nice, courteous, and knowledgeable about the food. By far the best meal I have had in Virginia Beach! I had the Caesar Salad, NY Strip and a special treat a sample of the Sanuki Olive Wagyu courtesy of the chef! I simply can't wait to go back!

I visited this amazing place on my birthday and everything was great from the food to the customer service . We had a waitress name Heather and she was marvelous from start to finish. Her smile was even amazing . Thanks so much !

This place is a gem and a phenomenal find I experienced in VA Beach. The service was impeccable, highly attentive and 10 stars if I could give them that. The food quality meets and exceeds its pricing as I paid more in other establishments. If you want a memorable experience and something special to celebrate, then Zoes is the place. The ribeye was deliciously marbled and the flavor remained through each bite. The Catena malbec was a perfect pairing and tasted like celestial nectar! I will be back no doubt.

My husband and I came here on a rare night out. Everyone was so kind and the service was exceptional. We got there early for our reservation and were seated in the Bermuda lounge, which was lovely. I am not kidding when I say this is the best food I have ever tasted. The steaks were perfection- the char and doneness were perfect. Everything from starters to dessert was delicious. We had the best experience and cannot wait to go back!

Everyone that goes here definitely do the wine pairings with your meal. It is an incredible experience all around.

The finest of fine dining in Virginia Beach. My wife and I have been several times. Most recently we went for her birthday and everything was great. Stacy was our server, she was very professional and had a great personality. We tried the Lobster Sausage Pops and Oysters Rockefeller. Both were fantastic. Oysters Roc was the best I have ever had. The Wagyu was delicious. It is pricey but if you are looking for upscale dining, Zoe's is worth it.

I don’t know where to start this place is exceptional. Fine Dining experience! Blown away by the hospitality and service. Love that the chef sends out small portions to try. Wine 🍷 was great! We came for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were very pleased to be greeted by staff. The lamb sausage lollipops as appetizer is a MUST! Beyond delicious. I ordered surf and turf! It was a 10/10. My husband got the jumbo crab cake with crab Mac he said it was also a 10/10. Seasoned to perfection but not too seasoned. Just right! They even had a card at our table to thank us for joining for our celebration. Nice touch. Last but not least the carrot cake was the best part. 20/20. It superseded our expectations. Our waitress and other staff made this a wonderful experience. Thank you!!!

I have frequented many higher end restaurants in my day, but Zoe’s will rank as one of the best. Literally every dish we had was absolutely exquisite - my only regret was that I didn’t get dessert! Aside from the food, the ambiance was very cozy and had a nice atmosphere. Although I came with my family, I can see this being a great date night spot for just you and a special someone. The service left little to be desired, from the valet to the host and the serving staff everyone was friendly and attentive. Our server, Dave, deserves special mention. He was not only incredibly pleasant, but also very knowledgeable. I wasn’t crazy about the automatically added 20% gratuity. In fact, I would have tipped more if it were not for that. All things considered, I would recommend to anyone and may return someday if we return to Virginia Beach.

We recently had the most wonderful dining experience at Zoe's. The service, wine pairings and food were outstanding. We ordered the steak tartar, which was excellent, and scallops with lobster risotto which were prepared to perfection.We had to inquire about the meatloaf, which we thought was a little out of place relative the rest of the menu. Let's just say, it is not your mother's meatloaf and should be tried. Topped everything off with the best carrot cake I have ever tried. This restaurant is now one of my absolute favorites!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the salmon was the most amazing, delicious, tender meal I've ever had. It was the first meal that I've ever finished at a restaurant. The ambiance was amazing. The mood was alluring and the service was immaculate. Chantel, with her beautiful smile and delightful conversation made my meal just that much better. I will absolutely be returning. Even just to sit at the bar. Thank you for the best experience I've has in a while.

Disappointed by food-filet mignon, mash potatoes, broccolini, broccoli cheese soup and carrot cake. Small portions, steak lacked taste, long wait for meal and waitress did not check back to see that meal was correct which it wasn’t. Food was overpriced. The waitress was very nice but the overall service not up to standards. Beautiful furnishing and atmosphere but seated by the open kitchen which was loud and busy. The carrot cake was very good but sauce was bitter. Disappointed!

I decided to take my daughters out for a special night . The had fun and enjoyed the food and mostly the environment and the service. My steak got a little burnt but I would rate the service 10 out of 10 if it was not for that little glitch with my steak other than that I will definitely come back and recommend other friends to try it out . It is a little pricey though but it’s worth it I believe .

My wife and I casually stopped by Zoe’s Steak and Seafood restaurant in Va Beach. They welcomed us like old friends despite no reservation and seated us at a table perfectly suited for an enchanted evening. Our waitress, Kate expertly guided us through our options and periodically had little surprise samplers of delectable goodies throughout our meal. My ribeye was cooked to perfection with the sauce and whipped potatoes creating the best flavor and texture I’ve ever experienced in a steak dinner. It was melt in your mouth good. My wife greatly appreciated the equal attention given to the vegetable dishes noting the specific combination of marinated fruits in her salad. The ambiance here is perfect for date night or family dinner to remember. I highly recommend, and we will be BACK.

Let me tell you, when normally at a steak and seafood house I don’t expect to have as fresh and delicious salad and veggies as I received here. They were not only fresh, but also very deliciously prepared to enhance a combination of delicate flavors having given equal attention to every detail of the entire order! I was looking for a place to grab something to eat with a very tight schedule. My girlfriend and I hadn't seen eachother in a few weeks so I wanted to make it somewhere nice. I made reservations here and was very pleased with my steak. The Oysters Rockefeller were great too. Above all, the service was top notch. The staff here does an amazing job. When I tell you 10/10 experience!! The steak was cooked to perfection and every bite melted like butter! The waiter was well knowledgeable and recommended an amazing Riesling wine to try 9/10. The atmosphere was really relaxing and classy with music to match. Make sure you make a reservation so your service is prompt. They also have valet parking which is always a plus!

Located close to the Virginia Beach Convention Center and the beach. Great ambiance, friendly staff and sexy drinks & food. Attended a private party in the back. They have a bourbon list to choose from. We had the steak sliders, scallops, calamari, etc.

We loved the decor and ambiance as soon as we walked in. The servers were extremely professional and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The charcuterie is a MUST and you MUST add the artisan cheese. This was a whole experience and we are so glad to have had it.

The food and service at Zoe's is consistently stellar!

Went for a Valentine’s Day and there was a set menu. The items all looked delicious, but my food was far from it. The Bisque had vary little flavor and my rockfish (MAYBE a 4oz piece as main course) honestly tasted like a rubber band. There were good parts of the meal, my wife’s surf and turf was good, but for the price of $125 a head, I expected much more. VERY dissatisfied, not the Zoe’s it once was.

Best dinner we’ve had in Virginia Beach! Truly an amazing experience. Our server was very nice and had great recommendations. She recommended our new favorite wine and let us take a picture of the label, too. We got the charcuterie board with cheese which was so fun for the appetizer. We also split the soup special which was a butternut squash bisque which was to die for!!! Seriously, the best soup I’ve ever had. For the main course I got the Cavatelli primavera with scallops, and I think my husband got the New York strip and added on the Brussel sprouts. The scallops cut like butter-delicious! For dessert we got the basque cheesecake, and the chef gave us mini pecan pies to finish the night. The only con I have is that a lot of the appetizers have seafood which my husband doesn’t like, so I felt like we were a little limited with that! It is expensive, but I definitely think it was worth it for a special date night. It was incredible and all of the staff were so kind!

We really do love this place! We were originally seated in the back room and asked to be moved to the front and the hostess kindly obliged!! Our new seat location was perfect as we don’t really care for the back room. The scallop appetizer was fantastic as were the oysters rock. I chose the NY Strip and my wife got the Rock Fish. Both were fantastic as was the soup. Our server Shannon was fantastic as well!! Our only complaint is the auto Gratuity. We are generally good tippers but it just seems odd for an auto gratuity for a party of 2.

We celebrated a birthday and had a wonderful time. The mixologist/bartender was very entertaining and made a terrific gin drink that was bold and creative. We will definitely be back to have drinks at the bar again. Our dinner was just what we have expected each time we have dined at Zoes'. The Chef's are amazing, food outstanding, service over the top and the wine selection was perfect to match our entree's. We are never disappointed and will be back again and again.

This is hands down the best in Virginia Beach. We have been multiple times and each time has been phenomenal. Everything we ordered (seafood, pork and beef) was cooked to perfection, seasoned deliciously and the presentation was lovely. The staff at Zoe’s is beyond attentive, so welcoming and clearly their one concern is for you to have the best dining experience possible…and you will. The standouts on this menu (which do change perhaps seasonally?) are too numerous to mention…each visit we make it a point to try something different and we have discovered new, amazing tastes each time. The only thing we cannot seem to pass up and have enjoyed on every visit is their unbelievable carrot cake. A beyond generous slice, and it should not be missed! From the first introductory taste of the chef’s amuse bouche right through to the final touch, one of their tantalizing and satisfying desserts (they make a raspberry sorbet that will send you out into orbit), you will have experienced an evening of truly fine dining. If you have a special occasion coming up and are looking to celebrate, clearly this is your place, but even on a weeknight when you just feel like you deserve a little something and a memorable dining experience would really hit the spot, Zoe’s should be your place. It’s wonderful.

Surf N Turf was excellent. Highly recommend trying it. Great experience from walking in to sitting down. They were very welcoming.

Too pricey to make it a frequent night out but the price point is on par with many of the nice restaurants around here and definitely worth it. Zoe’s restored our faith in eating out which is hard when it comes to steak. Both the ribeye and filet were tender and tasty and cooked perfectly medium rare which is how we ordered them. The service was attentive and the atmosphere comfortable. Will definitely go back on occasion.

This is was my favorite restaurants to come to but I was pretty disappointed this time around. The food was amazing as usual but it feels like the portions have decreased significantly over the years. I may also have a bone to pick with the waitress I had on this occasion because I took their advice and ended up ordering an entree that was laughably smaller than what I would usually order. Admittedly I probably should have sent the order back and asked for something else but I didn't because the food always tastes like they put a lot of effort into every dish. I think I am more frustrated because I asked the waitress about the portion size of another dish compared to my usual and wasn't warned about the one I ordered at all. My wife kept offering me bites of her food because it was my birthday dinner and she could tell I was extremely disappointed. If you are reading this and need more proof I encourage you to look at the pictures of food in older reviews compared to more recent pictures. I would always spend a decent amount when I came here but I can't really justify coming here anymore considering I am paying the same price for significantly less. Part of this may be due to inflation but I have gone to similar restaurants whose portions have remained the same. They could just raise the price like everyone else. I ended up getting a burger from a restaurant close by when I left because I was so disappointed. Place is called Barrel17. The Jamming Goat burger with onion rings was excellent. At least this caused me to find a place that had really good burgers.

For restaurant week, they offered a $45 3-course meal and it was delicious! We didn’t make reservations but luckily they had open seats at the bar. Our waitress was friendly and we were very happy with the service.

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Zoe's. We were able to snag a reservation for restaurant week and it could not have been any better. Both of us started with the Oysters Rockefeller they were delicious. I then had the bibb salad and husband had the French onion soup, we both finished off with the filet. The food could not have been any better -- one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Our waitress was very nice and pretty attentive, slightly slower near the end, but it was busy, so I do understand that. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this to anyone in search of a really nice date night or celebration.

Tried this restaurant for Restaurant Week 2024. Great staff and atmosphere upon arrival. Had a 7:00pm reservation and was seated promptly. Had a great view of the open kitchen and was able to see the chefs at work. For appetizers had the Rockefeller Oysters and Lobster Mac and Cheese. Oysters were superb however we didn’t care for the Lobster Mac much. Next had the Caesar and Bibb Salads both were great. Main course was filet mignon, mash potatoes and veggies and added buttery crab. Felt like crab needed some seasoning. Hubby had the Sanuki Smash which was a burger, the fries with it were amazing and he raved about the burger. Overall the place was nice and the food was good. Worth the try.

Zoe’s did not disappoint. The service and the food were top notch. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our meal and experience was perfection. When booking with open table, I put in the special requests that I would like a picture of Travis Kelce on our table. Kudos to Zoe’s for making that happen.

Overall the experience was ok. The food was well prepared and very good. There was one hiccup when it came to being seated. Apparently our table was taking longer to get ready. We had an 8:15 reservation. We became confused when someone with a 9:00 pm reservation was sat before us. I do intend on going back again.

Zoe's is one of our top places to celebrate an event. We took advantage of the VB Restaurant Week for an extra visit. We immediately noticed that the room was lighter and brighter. It appeared everything had a refresh except the wood. We did the three course special menu. One had one of each appetizers Zoë's Rockefeller and the Beef Tartare. The oysters were good but i prefer a more traditional Rockefeller. The Beef Tartare was delicious. For the second course we each chose the Bibb Wedge. We normally don't get a salad at Zoë's (I can't pass up the Lobster Pops). We both loved the small wedge based on a Bib end. This was the perfect demi-salad so you aren't over full for the entrée. The main course we both had the Creekstone Filet. Steaks are the reason we go to Zoë's and as usual these filets did not disappoint. We can't get go to Zoe's every week but we will always return for the great service and amazing food.

Food is fantastic and service was excellent. I have never been to a Michelin Star restaurant, but this would be the experience I expect to have if I did!

Waitress was dismissive and seldom at our table the entire evening. We had a vegetable dish with a sauce that dribbled onto the table as we transported items from the serving plate to our dinner plates. The waitress ignored the spill and did not clean the spill. Very inattentive. The menu noted 20% gratuity as service charge. The final bill included the city meals tax, approximately 11%, with the final charge resulting in more than 22%. I questioned the overcharge but was told the computer culd not correct the entries!! George Pilgrim

The courses were creative and well executed with one dish as an outlier (rockfish/risotto was well cooked but one note, bread and butter a missed opportunity). The service was efficient, friendly, and attentive. We appreciated that there were phenomenal wines at every price point. Front of house had some awkwardness - host stand as well as people who checked on our table with no intro, which may be due to new/undertrained staff. Overall, it was a good experience, the meal was delish, and we'll be back.

Upon entrance I felt embraced with amazing kindness from each staff member from : the hostess to the people that give the food out to the most amazing Kristi at the bar who worked with my tight schedule (my less than an hour break) she gave me a surprise amuse booche of a roasted tomato goat cheese moment to pop in my mouth until I waiting for the most well made beef tar tar and honey glazed Brussel sprouts. Both portions were perfect for what they were and the ambience at the bar was a nice enough reason to return after work for a night cap! Thank you Kristi and your great energy and customer service! We will definitely return!

Everyone and everything at Zoe’s assured an excellent dining experience. The room was cozy and calm. The rib eye steak was cooked to the perfect temperature, tasty, and tender. The server was properly attentive and knew her business. A carrot cake for two was an excellent end to an excellent meal and experience.

Date night! We did the wine pairing option, always a great experience. The pear with duck salad and the carrot bisque with crab were amazing. Always a pleasure to dine at Zoe’s with Jessica, Mark, Patrick and their teammates Rebecca and Kate. Happy New Year to you all.

Fantastic wine selection. Excellent food with some surprises. Wait staff, servers and management are very friendly and knowledgeable. Even the valet attendant was pleasant and courteous.

Definitely get the scallop appetizer. Although you only get two per order, they'll be the best two scallops you ever put in your mouth.

We to Zoe's for our anniversary. The food was exceptional -- we had oysters rockefeller that were the best we ever had - tender oysters, and the pimento cheese topping was just the right mix. The salad was incredible - the dressing for the mesculun lettuce and baby kale was a light vinaigrette with a lemony flavor. The beef was very flavorful and tender -- we ordered filets. I would not order the lobster again, though -- it was not fully cooked although the presentation was perfect. We had mango sorbet for dessert and it was also very flavorful and fresh.
