Spend your money elsewhere if you can. Servers were good, owner is a terrible excuse for a human being with that being the nicest thing I could say about him

This place is a real gem for apres velo, so delicious and has a great atmosphere and location.

Asked for a table for 2 on the patio. The Host corrected me, " table for two please. Since covid I don't hear please often." He came back from checking the tables on the patio and said, " you wern't going to say please were you?" I stared blankly at this person like the audacity. He then told me, " I don't like you" I replied , "I don't like you either." I was then told, "See ya" Which implied we were not going to be served. What a joke Lol. Go to Pizza and Wings up the street...

Have been driving up from Denver to eat lunch at Zokas for years. The food is awesome (pulled pork and spicy chicken) and the beer is cold. Be sure to check out their homemade desserts as they are to die for. Larry is great even though he's a Packer fan. Mike Lerner

Had to wait for outdoor dining as we had our dogs with, but it was worth it! The reuben was excellent, the view was gorgeous, and the service was very friendly.

Was on vacation in Colorado, originally from Wisconsin. Stopped here for dinner and just wow. The food is great!! Everything tastes like it's made from scratch. Our table had fish, Zola burger, pork chops (2) & the brisket. Everyone was very, very pleased with their meal. Then, for dessert, we had hot fudge brownies and the strawberry sorbet. Hands down, probably the best brownie I've ever had and easily the best sorbet I've ever had as well. We all would highly recommend you take a drive and come give Zoka's a try and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Nice place to get good food. Can get busy but that is a good statement on the food! Nice wait staff and enjoy the slow pace and views.

I had driven by 11 years in a school bus and never had the opportunity to stop in for a bite. But one day we were in the shop truck. Finally, it happened I ordered the fish and chips.

Bummed. Our favorite summer go to place was disappointing today. No idea why it has changed so much, but the online menu misrepresents what was on the actual menu which was very limited and not worth the 4hr round trip drive. Ended up settling for a breakfast burrito without the chili, which consisted of scrambled egg and potato chunks. Never did find the bacon supposedly in it. Zero flavor. Had to ask twice for salt and pepper in an attempt to make it taste like something. No check back from wait staff to see if we needed anything or how our food was....

I ordered half rib rack. I've always had baby ribs. the plate I was served had no ribs in it. It contained small bones and cartilage. I dont eat cartilage. the pork was good. The price on the menu on my phone was $16.99. The price on my ticket was $23.99. The owner seems to be a nice enough fellow but he made no attempt to correct this or even meet me half way. I'm camping out one more week, now I'm at Crossroads Pub and Grill. (i've been going to to Zokas for 10+ yrs. this is a new owner for the last couple years.)

What a great place!! They gave homemade salad dressings that are amazing. I had the BBQ Brisket, and it melted in my mouth absolutely delicious!! Service was excellent as well!!

This is a great little place to visit when in Pine or passing through Pine. They have some great food and a great family vibe going on.

We tried the puked pork and the meatloaf. The pulled pork came with French fries and coleslaw and a side of bbq sauce. The meatloaf came with mashed potatoes, brown gravy and grilled squash. Both plates were excellent and tasted like quality ingredients. They were out of onion rings but we plan to try them next time. There is outside dining along with indoor. They are also dog friendly. They also offer a decent drink menu.

Dang! I turned around to stop here, and I’m so glad I did. Super chill, nice people, and great food. Get the Salmon Sandwhich if you like things that swim on your plate… And in your belly! Cheers!

Popped by on Sunday and was a little early but they were very welcoming and let me hang out as they opened. I'm a Denverite that hasn't been to Pine before so didn't know what to expect. I got the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and both were really good, still thinking about the dilly potato salad. The staff were really friendly and attentive and I like all the dog art!

This is a fun little place to have lunch. Especially if it's warm enough to sit outside.

One of my most favorite places to eat. Great food, cool location. Everything on the menu is good - my fav is the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. I always go for lunch. There's also a bar.

This place was so good. The Zoka burger with caramellized onions was to die for after a big bike ride at Buffalo Creek. Patio seating too!

We are locals and decided to give Zoka's a try. First, the location is very pretty, across the hwy, along the South Platte river with a panoramic view which includes Long Scraggly Peak. When we arrived, it took 2 employees to tell us they would be with us before we were finally seated. Our waitress was very friendly and apologetic that the menus were in the process of being changed, as Zoka's changes their menu on a daily basis, which we were not too thrilled about, as we were expecting a larger menu with more variety(mostly hamburgers and sandwiches). A variety of comfort foods would have been more appealing to our palates. Burgers were very good, as was my grilled chicken sandwich. Prices were average. Thought $17.99 was a bit steap for an appetizer of buffalo cauliflower, which was average at best. My recommendation is to call ahead to inquire about the daily menu to make sure the items will meet your expectations. A return is still questionable.

I had the house salad with berry vinaigrette, and a bowl of the soup of the day, which was pumpkin curry. I should have gotten a cup instead - I could hardly finish it, it was so hearty! They top the soup with bread crumbs that are seasoned to taste like my Grandpa's stuffing, which was a nice surprise. The salad was plentiful and the very vinaigrette was really good. My family had burgers, which were small but the right size for lunch. The fries were absolutely delicious. Kids meal came in a bento box, and lots of food. Our server was really great. Very attentive and patient. Actually brought out a cup and bowl to show me the sizes for the soup, which was very nice. Great atmosphere. We visited in early December and it was very festively decorated! Very spacious, bright, and lots of cool artwork inside. We've driven by this place for years; I'm so glad we finally stopped to try it!

Great food. I had a nice Greek salad and my wife had the local made hemp patty burger. I want to get some of those patties to bring home….so good. We got to eat on the outside deck so the weather was nice and view the valley the restaurant sits in. The town in aptly named Pine for good reason, so beautiful.

My husband & I were taking a drive in the mountains & came across this restaurant not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The service & food was really good. The reuben and beef brisket sandwich were both really good. We would stop here again if in the area.

Zoka's used to be the place to go to for the locals. But every time we have gone there in the last 3 months their doors are never opened. We went tonight because it's a Saturday night at 5:30 and we're told that they couldn't wait on us, because they close at 5pm on a Saturday due to lack of help. Waitress said we could work there if we wanted a job. I'd say the locals are done. Time for their doors to close the parties over.

Most excellent spicy chicken sandwich and special order fries (extra crispy, no salt). Same for my wife’s brisket. Pair all that with a fantastic view from the shaded deck and it’s a must try!

Food was delicious and portions were huge.

I was told when I came in that nobody makes a better Reuben than they do, and they were right! The atmosphere is wonderful, everyone has been hiking, biking, camping, fishing or just out enjoying the awesome views. We brought our dog Natalie and were gladly welcomed to a large deck where she was served first.

If you're near there, go have a beer and a meal. Lovely atmosphere, good beer selection and the food is great.

Make sure to check the hours before visiting; their hours are somewhat limited. If you're mountain biking at Buffalo Creek or passing through on a scenic drive, Zoka's is a great spot for a meal and a drink. Food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is very laid back. It can get really busy on the weekends, because it's a popular stopping point for day trippers traveling along 126. Outdoor dining is a great option here as well!

The only place in town but they still work at it

Is is a nice area and the view is memorable. Our server forgot to put in our order, then brought my friend a chicken sandwich (ordered a burger), and my food was burnt. Waiting awhile for your food to arrive is one thing, but after it is burned and cold is pretty bad. We asked for water 3 times before he remembered. He just kept forgetting things. There were a lot of flies. $70 for 2 people.

First they are short staffed and was clearly explained multiple times so a delay in food compliants are on you. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich was just OK. portions I think were on the small side especially the french fries for what $14-16/sandwich, server was extremely friendly she deserved the big tip. Now will I be back, nah not based on the pulled pork and prices.

We decided to go off the beaten path and ended here for a late lunch. Place was full of locals, it is always a good sign. Both burger and fish and chips were pretty decent. If you are fan of Grateful Dead you will love the style of the place. Waiter was friendly and attentive.

We love this place and always make it a point to visit if we're in the area. The food is consistently good and we love to sit outside and enjoy the views. As an added bonus we appreciate that dogs are allowed on the patio.

Great little bar and grill. Our favorite place to stop after a visit to Buffalo Creek! Food and drinks are always good, but I have to rave about our visit today. I had a Melvin IPA on draft and the spicy chicken sandwich with potato salad, and my partner had chicken fried steak from the brunch menu. It was incredibly delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed some good conversation with the owner. Zoka's is a must-stop after your Buff Creek adventure or while traveling through Pine!

Always a steady performer... Great menu that changes regularly. Warm and friendly staff and the bartender, Dee, mixes up some really cool cocktails. Well worth the excursion to get there.

My fave! Excellence in service, food and atmosphere. Always meet new friends here. The big bonus is that you can use Upside to save a few bucks and add it to the tip. Well worth the experience.

I’ve been coming here for years and loved everything about the place but my last visit was an unmitigated disaster. As we waited to be seated numerous waitstaff walked by and none acknowledged we were there and no one would even make eye contact. After about 10 minutes of this nonsense, we decided to leave then there was a commotion in the bar area and a family with three little girls got up and started to leave. The mother said they’d been seated for over a hour and no one had come to take their order and pointed to another table that had just gotten what appeared to be appetizers and said they’d been waiting two hours just for that. I counted two bartenders and at least three waitstaff so I saw no reason for such shoddy service let alone ignoring customers that were waiting to be seated. It would take what, ten seconds to let us know what’s going on? But to completely ignore us? Unacceptable.

Recently had a very disappointing experience here. Sadly to say I don't think we will be returning. From the very point of arriving at the restaurant and waiting 10 minutes before even being acknowledged to be seated. But most disappointing was the food 😔 we both ordered a cup of the smoky green chili and it was unedable to say the least. And even after expressing to the waiter how poorly the chili tasted he didn't take it off of our tab... on top of that we ordered the onion ring app and must have got the bottom of the bag, but bit into one and it was filled with uncooked crumbs. It was very strange. All said and done we paid $60 for two people to have an alcoholic beverage and a salad!! Because the rest of the food wasn't good! I do not recommend this establishment at all, your money would be better spent at the local gas station unfortunately...

Immediately was sat at my table but then waited over 15 minutes and not a single server asked for my drink or food order. It was about 2pm and not busy. Patio was full but inside was empty. Was hoping for better service than received.

10/10 reccomend! I stopped here after hiking near cheeseman canyon. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. All the food was delicious and homemade and even had lots of gluten free options. I can’t wait to make this a routine stop!

We were a little early for lunch but were diving by and decided to give Zoka's a try. The service was fast, friendly, and the food was excellent. Their green chili was particularly good...spicy, but not to hot. I will be back.

this restaurant has a special place in my heart because it is where I discovered what is now my favorite cocktail of all time, "ranch water" . I've made a bunch at home since, but none of them taste as good as the one I had here after biking. Thanks Zoka's!!

When we arrived on a Sunday early afternoon, they were super busy. Sign up on the door asked for forgiveness up front for being short staffed and that wait times would be a little longer. Despite the craziness of the crowd, all of the staff working was super polite and helpful and in constant apology mode for the delays. We ended up finding some spots at the bar before our table was ready. Food was really good. He got a burger cooked as requested, a little pink. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, the bread was amazing, not such a hard crust that it was hard to bite into. We both got the sweet potato fries, not over cooked. They have a chef and they take the time to take pride in what they serve. I also had the house mixed Sangria. If you like Sangria, give it a try. Overall, a small, small town restaurant that is working hard to meet the crazy busy of summer and tourist expectations. I think they pass with flying colors, especially if you can be human and have a little patience. Good food, drinks, and service. We needed to find a place to add some air to our back tire and the staff was able to point us in the direction of somewhere close. Thank you for the great experience.

Food and outdoor seating were great. We think our waiter was stoned. Had to ask several times for things and go inside to ask for check.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Our server was Alex and she was sweet, funny, and attentive. I ordered the half rack of ribs with fries and coleslaw. I was stunned by how delicious they were. The meat fell off the bone, it was smoked in house and tasted like it, and the sauce is house-made too. The sauce has a nice zip to it, just enough heat, but not too much. Can’t remember last time I had such good ribs. It’s been a while. Even the fries were remarkable. Definitely stop by here. The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing, and so is the service.

Zoka's is fantastic, the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food is fantastic. We had a large gathering for a memorial service and everyone who attended had nothing but great things to say about it. A huge thank you to the ownership and staff at Zoka's for a great experience!

We went in for a break after a longer drive. We just had drinks and dessert. The staff was wonderful and our snacks were delicious. Great place in a beautiful part of Colorado.

Tasty burger - good service - nice place

This was once a favorite of ours. Menu choices have been significantly reduced & most of my favorites are gone. Food quality has declined significantly. The wings were almost black & when we told our server, we thought they over cooked, he simply said "NO they're not!" Not a fan of the 126 BBQ sauce either. Alternatives should be available & offered. I guess Covid & the way of the world has taken another good one from us.

What a super nice place. Some kinda staffing issue the day we were there, but they held standards up anyway and the waiter was gracious and funny even if rushed.

As a local I visit this restaurant on the regular. The servers and owner are very nice and always engage in conversation. The service is usually fast and there are never any mistakes. All of the food is average for a sit down restaurant except for the clam chowder which is really well made. Overall the restaurant is perfect for a dinner after a hike or a bike ride but definitely not a 5 star restaurant.

We came by for the first time today and the food was hot, ready and delicious. We had about 3 people come and ask how our experience was and left full and happy.

Great little spot in a remote little town about 15-20 miles southwest of Denver. My wife and I made the scenic drive from Colorado Springs this afternoon for a little lunch. Fantastic salads and soups (pork green chili and pork/andouille sausage). Washed lunch down with a couple of ice cold beers. Finished things off with an awesome homemade slice of key lime pie. Will definitely go back again. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Stopped here today for my very first time after a seven mile hike day, was so happy that they were open.. I ordered the smoked salmon burger without a bun with a side salad and it was on point, fresh, and Soo yummy and delicious!!! I am a local bartender in Colorado Springs and I will definitely highly recommend this place for any of my out-of-town guests that are interested in finding a great place in the mountains..

If you have a tan you should avoid this place. The server/manager was very disrespectful. The guy was talking trash under his voice as he walked away multiple times. He couldn't even finish taking our order before walking away. My girlfriend friend was beyond upset at the way I was treated. Avoid!

My wife and I stopped by after riding Buff Creek on Easter. Can't tell you how impressed with were with our waiter(Glen) and the food!! The appetizers of Jalapeño Poppers and House Salad were such a great start along with a refreshing Sangria. Moved on to a Salmon Benedict and Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Both had huge portions and were wonderfully flavored. This is such a hidden gem and I know we'll be making this our regular stop after mountain biking or visiting the area. Thanks much, Chico

Such an unexpected place to find in a small town. The food is always delicious every time.

Well all I can say is I waited almost 40 minutes for my food not to mention to even get the check. Our server was the same guy that was greeting and apparently the owner of the place was pretty much gone 🤷‍♀️ plus over hearing his rude behavior . Food was good , service was terrible!

Such a cool restaurant! The Server Larry was very friendly and hospitable, he was always there when we needed something or checking in. I love that the restaurant is dog friendly, not many places in Colorado seem to be.

The spicy chicken sandwich was superb!

Great service and a warm atmosphere. We had sandwiches and cocktails for lunch and some breakfast scrambles the next day. I would recommend asking for a better bourbon in the Cooler than their well. My chicken panini was delicious and my father in law's burger was perfectly cooked. Lovely art from local artists and a very hospital le staff.

I love this place when I'm in the area for mountain biking or fishing. The Zoka burger is immensely satisfying. They are dog friendly and the service is on point for being somewhat short staffed but it's a really small community. Food is really really good here. The best mountain views for days on the patio.

If you love dogs, you will love Zoka's. Very dog friendly, and very friendly staff. Great food, slightly pricy but on par for other restaurants around the mtn area. Views are incredible as well
