I ordered the same thing yesterday for pick up. Food was hot. Within an hour, I threw up my entire meal and was so sick. I consulted with my doctor today and he said part of the food must not have been fresh. I will not order from them until the Bennies are back and they have more foot traffic. ordered from them before - great restaurant - except for grubhub, This time cold food, not fresh, added avocado and could not find it or taste it. the mild salsa was so old and dry. This was not because of grubhub-I did order delivery. I was extremely disappointed. I will probably order again when the bennies are back. It was just horrible and have ordered during the summer and it was great. BTW, if you order and pick up they charge you $3 for taking your order - harsh

Very unimpressed with this place considering how much people talked about it and it being on food Network. The food was very Bland had no flavor not cooked properly. No char on the tortilla. I expected to also get three tacos for a dinner not two. Price was a little much for that little food. Much better options than this place

10th Ave Burrito Co. is an absolute gem! Every bite is a flavor explosion, thanks to their incredibly fresh and delicious ingredients. The house margarita is a must-try, and their drink menu overall is impressive. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to offer recommendations. The restaurant's unique atmosphere adds to the overall fantastic experience. The General Tso’s wings are worth try. Bring a friend and try the Buenuelos for desert!

Front of house doesn't listen to to go calls. Second time in a month my order was wrong. I'm switching my rating to 3 stars because the front of house is terrible. They don't help at all. I recently made a to-go order and they forgot one of the items I ordered and acted like it was my fault. Really, what good are 2 hostesses if they mess up orders regularly. The best Mexi/Cali food on the Jersey Shore. Awesome specials everyday. Outdoor seating, live music & a bar, doesn't get much better!

Amazing 3rd trip to this unbelievably yummy restaurant. Gotta try the flour tortillas chips. So fluffy and with the guacamole or house salsa. The food is so fresh and the service is always impeccable! Free parking and next to a brewery!

The food here was absolutely delicious! They seasoned everything really well. I had a vegetarian burrito and they had tofu in it which was actually grilled nicely so everything inside the burrito was full of flavor compared to other restaurants. This was definitely a plus!! The chips and salsa are also really good. They are very different from other places which use corn tortillas but this place uses. I believe it’s flour tortillas that are made into chips so it’s a little different but nice.. highly recommend!

Went on a recommendation from a friend who's a local. Casual ambiance with live bands outside. The pico de gallo (chips and salsa) was great with a hint of spice from jalapeños. I went on a Thursday so they had 75¢ wings. They were grilled so not the normal deep fried pub wing, but the buffalo flavor was great. They also had $5 pints of beer on Thursdays.

Tried this place for the first time, and was not impressed. Waitress was not attentive at all. The chips were flavorless and so was the brisket quesadilla. However, the blackbean soup was decent. Still won't be going back.

Atmosphere was fantastic but food is horribly under seasoned. I got the Buffalo chicken burrito and the chicken was extremely tough and dry. No salt on anything and not worth the price we paid.

I personally haven’t been to 10th Avenue in quite a while. I remember loving their Adobo Wings and thought I’d relive them today and decided to try the Spicy Mac and Cheese they had as well. Keep in mind both items have been boasted about on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives so I was confident to try both and hopefully enjoy them. However when the food came to the table I was upset with the results. The food was not so terrible as to be inedible but was extremely bland. My partner enjoyed her food but both dishes I got were just not up to the standards of the restaurant some time ago. Besides the food, staff took incredibly long to serve the table but were extremely friendly when they did come around occasionally. The restaurant is by no means awful but needs some TLC for sure.

Fun place to eat dinner on a Friday night in summer. There was a live band playing and lots of people (~45 min wait). The portions are big and there's a wide selection (slot of vegetarian options too). Flavors are good enough.

My boyfriend and dog (Jetty) are regulars at 10th Ave. We LOVE the food, super friendly service and dog friendly. They have great bands and it’s always a fun time. Their breakfast Burrito is super good! I arranged a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend on June 22. Kat and Kevin were amazing to work with! They made the process super easy, listened to what I wanted and delivered above and beyond! All of the guests loved the food (taco bar, wings and buffalo cauliflower)! Two of the guests own well known bars/restaurants in the area and were really impressed. Our servers were amazing and stayed later than their shifts to make sure guests were happy. If you’re looking for great food, great service and dog friendly…. This is your new favorite place!!

I've been going here for 12 years every year on my bday. Also go usually once a month. Food has always been amazing and I will continue to visit this place whenever I can. My favorite is the blackened Mahi burrito and the chorizo burrito (not on menu but you can ask for a chicken burrito and sub chorizo). Taco tuesday is also an amazing deal for 15 dollars unlimited tacos.

I’ve eaten here twice. Great blood orange margarita and house margarita. I had the quesadilla on my first visit and the chimichanga the second time. The portions are great and the food was tasty. Highly recommended.

I always come for the food, and end up staying for the conversations. Friendly atmosphere with shore locals and visiting tourists alike.

I have been coming to 10th ave since it was a little storefront stop in a strip mall. Today I showed up for the best happy hour specials I've seen anywhere around here in the middle of the summer, when they absolutely could be gouging bennies and shoobies for all they're worth. This place never steers me wrong and always has great food, great service, and great deals. Can't recommend enough.

Food was fine if a little expensive, atmosphere was too loud.

Commenting on their service, we placed a pick up order at the counter with 3 servers present. We waited over 20 minutes for our food while it was sitting on the counter. We had to approach the servers to request for our food despite us waiting in front of the counter the entire time. Would have appreciated if the servers weren’t so busy talking with each other that they paid attention to their customers.

It's great for a sit down meal.

Best margaritas and friendly staff!

First time back in a while and I remembered why it’s been a while. Really don’t like their chips - nachos not good. Steak and mushroom fajitas were over seasoned with what I think was thyme which is strange to use. I hate leaving a restaurant unsatisfied. Just not worth the money.

I mean to be honest it hurts me to leave this bc I’m a born and raised local… but my god i have not gotten good service at a table the last 4-5 times. It’s ridiculous. Going out to eat should be enjoyable and relaxing but when i wait 18 minutes before asking WHO my server is only to get subpar service? And now I’m currently writing this review while my table has been empty for 15 and I’m strictly waiting to PAY. Bus boys and food runners are phenomenal and have helped us more than anything tonight. Pathetic.

Great chicken silders food is fresh great employees

Fantastic food and staff. Fun and lively atmosphere. EXCELLENT brunch options, though a bit limited for celiacs. The deviled eggs are scrumptious! We came back for lunch and enjoyed a couple of specials, as well as items off the regular menu. We left very full and satisfied!

Food is outstanding and the vibes are second to none. This place is a staple when my family and I go to Belmar to catch some waves.

I've been coming to this place for a long time, and then COVID happened. I came back recently and found out that they no longer have the bean cakes entree. They were absolutely delicious. It was a Friday night during Lent and my friend observes the no meat rule. We decided to order two burritos and split them so we could try more options. We started our meal with buffalo cauliflower and it was really delicious. The 2 burritos we ordered were the blackened Mahi and also the PC with the tofu. I had two sangrias and my friend had beer. I am really hoping they can bring back the bean cake entree, even if it's just during Lent or as an occasional special. And that cauliflower was so delicious that I think it would be really great if they could have cauliflower tacos and cauliflower burritos for more vegan/vegetarian options. This place has a great atmosphere, and there was live music because it was a Friday night.

Food was disappointing to say the least. The website is misleading. Waitress was disheveled and no personality, to the point where it was shown on her face how miserable she was to be there. Will not be back. Also restaurant was not the cleanest. Think twice.

For anyone who manages to read “James G” review on google please know that in a ceremony for an employee that had passed, they continued to talk and be obnoxious whilst the staff was trying to remember a very special person. Tenth ave is family. They care more about your visit here than most places would, it’s one thing to bash food but to defame an establishment out of context is sad. Taking the effort to leave a review means a lot to some people, this was unpleasant. “James G” understanding a situation is knowing the situation. Which you did not.

The food is absolutely horrendous. No flavor what’s so ever. I wish I can erase the memory of eating hear !! You delusional people the food is not good!

Good food and beer, the packed outside bar was yelled at by one of the bartenders/waiters to “Shut the Fuc* Up!!” -There was a personal conversation happening which is understandable. But Idc what was going on. Do better. Unacceptable behavior.

Its a great spot...I like it... Margaritas were good. Food was great. Location is terrific. Overall fantastic. Give it a shot. You'll have a good time.

Great seafood burrito and they have an amazing hot sauce made by some local guy in Monmouth County.

If you like Mexican food , you must visit here, the spices just right, loved the food ate the Mexican corn appetizer so fast I forgot to take a picture

It really seems like a nice place and the staff were friendly and efficient. However, this burrito was sub par for it’s price point. I mean sure if it was 7 bucks I would shut up but it’s wasn’t lol. Please season the chicken next time and don’t forgot the salsa. Will not be eating here again but may come in for drinks sometime.

No matter what's at a restaurant, it will always be about the food. Not sure why people rave over this place, maybe because of the alcohol, but I have had better taco, burritos and other stuff at a gas station. This place needs alot of help, far better places around the corner and are most reasonably priced!

Fun place, really good food, the restaurant was hosting a Humane Society fund raiser. The staff was nothing but friendly and enthusiastic.

So happy to have given it another go. This time food had flavor, albeit a little spicy but the last couple of times it was bland so welcome back flavor. Went on quesadilla night and who doesn't like a good margarita...not me. Fun and fresh atmosphere .

Parking is tough, the wait wasn't bad about 15 mins. Service was great!!! Food was ok. The empanadas were my favorite. The chicken tacos were a bit bland

I had an amazing experience at 10th Avenue Burrito in Belmar, NJ. Despite the bustling atmosphere, we were seated in just 10 minutes while enjoying drinks at the bar. The food was fantastic; we started with chips and guacamole for the table and then had tacos and a burrito, both of which were delicious. Although the burrito was a bit messy, its taste more than made up for it. The music and vibe added to the great atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly attentive. To top it off, I received a complimentary Michelada. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Chips and Guac is like eating Chinese noodles and guac. Salsa was like dipping chips in water. The meat here is flavorless and tastes like its boiled. NO FLAVOR AT ALL ! …Best part of the meal was the soda. Left and went to Coneys Ice Cream for dinner .

When I asked for less ice, the server told me you get half a glass... Not fair I didn't say less liquor , I wanted to post a picture of the glass I was handed

Food was fine, but very expensive. Go to Hoagitos next door, get better food for half the price. A little let down by this place honestly.

Love the mole here! I always want to try something else, but don't because I would miss the great mole! Pair it with great margarita's and start off with mexican street corn and you have the perfect evening here!

Our server was AWESOME!!! They really cater to their clients. Highly recommend!!!

Food was great. We asked for outdoor seating, and they asked if the table closest to the band performing was ok. We declined that table as being 3 feet from the speakers would be unpleasant. Instead, they put us one table behind that, which made absolutely no difference. Our server was nice, but gave terrible service. He only checked on us once, right as our food was being brought out, so we only ordered one drink each. We had to wait about an hour after finishing our food before we could get our check. He was nowhere to be found in the outdoor dining area. When he finally came out, he was constantly checking on his other two tables instead (one of which appeared to be his friends) and I had to wave him down to have the check brought over.

Delicious margaritas! Food was good and you get so much for your money. The live music was an added bonus. I’m glad we chose this restaurant for a dinner out. We’ll come again.

I've passed this place a hundred times and never knew how awesome this place was. From the outside it looks like an unassuming burrito joint. Once inside, it reveals its treasures. I hadn't even realized it was featured on Guy Fieri's Diner's Drive-ins and Dives not once, but twice, until I read the menu. Speaking of the menu, it's loaded with interesting dishes and daily specials. We came from another place before coming here so we were only hungry enough to share one dish - their signature tacos. They were EXCELLENT! Combine that with fantastic service at the back bar and a Dia de Los Muertos theme and this has become one of our favorite spots in Belmar. There's also an outdoor bar and live music, so this is definitely a fun spot to hit. I would highly recommend 10th Ave. Burrito Company.

Food went down the drain. Used to have great food and service. The last three times I went in I recd mediocre cold food and lousy service never ever again.

The fish tacos I had were good, as was the guacamole and margarita. I'm not really a fan of the flaky, pastry-like chips for dipping, though. Seemed too filling and lacked that salty, crunchy, corn chip flavor I prefer. Would definitely go back, though.

The food was kind of a let down I was expecting something really good as it was on Diners Drive ins and Dives however the nachos and my burrito were both bland. I hope in the future they could work on that in their food. Servers were attentive and service was fast.

my 1st visit to 10th Avenue Burrito was to see a friends band, the Mighty Burners, play. the location is prime! right by the Belmar Marina. the food is delicious! the Servers, bar and waitstaff, are friendly and prompt. and the music was sublime 🎶

Just beware of the nachos as others have stated. Get very soggy. But the guacamole is delish and the wings were good when I had them a few years ago. Service was cold and distant. Just overall a little disappointing.

If one would want a more authentic dish than you would need a climate migrant and a few of his friends.

Came here for Mother’s Day. Was super let down. Place wasn’t busy but took forever. Ice tea severely watered down. Soup came out cold. Chicken burritos flavorless. Waitress barely seemed to realize we were there. What a bummer of a meal. Great live music playing at least. Food wise total bummer

Terribly over priced, the food is ok at best.

Food was greasy and lacked flavor. So many opportunities to introduce flavor with a Mexi-cali cuisine but neither the Brisket Quesadilla or the 10 Av Street Tacos had any. Then to top it off the service was poor. With so many other places to eat in Belmar, I would recommend trying another. Surprised this place was featured on Dinners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.

Saw 10th ave on TV a few years ago, I've lived in San Diego since 1983 originally from Avon by The Sea. I Consider myself a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine, especially Mole! 10th Ave not only met my expectations with their Mole but raised the bar. Across the board from guacamole to Avacado salad, top notch service with our server Elaina muy perfecto.

10th Ave Burrito... WOW. I was there 2 months ago and had an amazing fiesta which includes a Pork Mole Burrito, Spicy Chorizo Mac n cheese, the chicken in adobo cream sauce, and the buenuelos. Sometimes i just come in for the mexican coke and try to be like Clint Eastwood in the Good the bad and the ugly lol! Everything is so good and this is my go to when I had a few too many whiskeys and have to jump the tracks on my kick scooter. If you are in the area, give it a try. Arriba!

Entrees and nachos were some of the worst food we have ever gotten. The nachos are almost like refried pita chips, very greasy, and had little to no cheese with a complete lack of binding. The steak tacos appeared to be chicken, and were twice as greasy as chorizo. They contained about 50% diced onion and the "steak" was unseasoned. The pork mole platter seen on DDD was completely underwhelming, and compared to the episode, was about 60% the size and was pooled in grease on the bottom. They also did not put any mole sauce on the platter. It was worse than a Chipotle burrito bowl you can get for half the price. The only thing redeeming the place were the boneless general tso wings, which were crispy and made to order. Left me feeling sick and scammed, go to other restaurants in the plaza.

This place had the most flavorless, sauce-logged caucasian-Mexican food you can buy in NJ. Service sucked too. To never come here again would be doing too little to rid my memory of this establishment.

I just love 10th Ave Burrito, it’s my go to place for a girls hangout. It has 3 unique areas that all bring a different vibe. Outside the bar and tables are great, decor is awesome and you can eat and drink out here, who doesn’t love eating outside? Inside, the restaurant also has great decor and is more of a family type vibe. Then you have the indoor bar, cozy, chill, & great foot and drinks all around.

Was so excited to eat here for lunch, Since we loved this place. We got Burritos, Street corn and buffalo Wings. I dont know what happened to there food, But they have gown down tremendously it was such a huge let down! Burritos had no flavor or seasoning, The wings were very dissapointing the only great part was the mexican corn. I hope you guys can go back to how you were

Went for a late lunch, the atmosphere was OK. The hostess/waitress was nice. We ordered 2 appetizers, Wings and Nachos. The Wings were hard as a rock, chicken meat inside was dried and coated with a weird sauce on top. It looked & tasted not so good. The Nachos weren’t even Nachos, it looked like a hot mess on a plate. The chips weren’t even tortilla chips. They were greasy fluffy god knows what (reminded me of greasy wontons) couldn’t find the melted cheese and was hidden by lots of shredded lettuce, fat sliced hot peppers and sour cream. The worse appetizers I ever had. We ordered two entrees that were highlighted on Diners, Drive-In & Dives with Guy Fieri on the Food Network. They were the Pork Mole Platter and 10th St Street Tacos. The Pork Mole Platter had no taste and I was looking for the Mole Sauce, didn’t find it. The Street Tacos weren’t what they describe on the menu. They were greasy and “the marinated steak” looked and tasted like fatty chop meat. Don’t get me started about the bowl of white rice with dried up black beans. The presentation of these dishes were not APPETIZING to the eye. This was the ABSOLUTE WORSE Mexican food I have ever had in my life. Hands down!! Also, I feel this place no right to call themselves MEXI-CALI Mexican food. It’s no where close to it. I have had MEXI-CALI food and I can honestly say it’s not even close.

Best Burrito bar on the Jersey shore.

The blackened seafood burrito was awesome. Appetizers were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Can't ask for much more than that. Will definitely be back.

It was ok. Wouldn't do it again My husband said his pork was to spicy in his burrito 🌯 odd because he usually can take some spice. Mine was a 24 dollar burrito ..yah you read that right. 1 burrito 🌯 $24 DALLARS. All because I asked for extra shrimp 🍤...$9 upcharge for 4 shrimps in my burrito. The very stiff non friendly front waitress said there was a upcharge...just didn't tell me it was the price for a 2ns burrito. That's a scam yall. 1 burrito $24. I walked out with a $59 bill. Queso was relatively good and so was the corn thingys. 🌽 Sooo 3 stars and I'll add a menu ✨️
