We found this lovely coffee shop during our Alaskan cruise. The food, coffee, service, and atmosphere were all 5-star worthy. I bought a bag pf coffee beans to take home and I'm having a cup right now! My new favorite coffee! If you find yourself in Ketchikan, I highly recommend stopping by.

Stumbled upon this shop off a cruise. We got coffee and breakfast. The homemade goods were delicious. Service was excellent and friendly. So good, we walked back for a second cup.

Friendly service and great coffee. Surprisingly fast wait times considering the location to the cruise ship terminals. Seems like mostly locals eat here. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a pastry, craft coffee, or light breakfast!

A fabulous find. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It is cozy in an open way. The coffee selection is very nice and the fresh pastries the best I found in town. They use vegtables from Ketchikan Ever Greens (a Freight Farm hydroponic unit) for sustainable and environmentally responsible growing. The Hungarian Soup was delicious and the date bar was WOW. Highly recommended

I finally found my favorite coffee shop in Ketchikan. Their espresso is strong and bold and the family who owns it is extremely sweet.

Really very good coffee. The breakfast sandwiches are also good! I was happy to support a local business. I wish there was more seating, but real estate is at a prime here, so I understand.

We had two lattes, a biscuit Sandwhich, and the bialy breakfast Sandwhich. These were some of our fav breakfast sandwiches we have ever had! The cookies were great too

Great find! We tried the oatmeal cream and gingersnap cookies, and the blueberry muffin. They were all delicious and the lattes were so good too! Would definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

We made a pit stop here for a good cuppa decaf espresso and we were not disappointed. Locally roasted beans and house made goodies....a must visit! Some of the best espresso in Alaska!

Cute family run place, and I think the whole family was behind the counter when we were there! Went for breakfast and food was pretty good. Lots of cookies and pastries called to me from the display but I had a bagel with cream cheese.

Ordered latte regular size, and it wasn't good. Countable the coffee it was watered down

I highly recommend stopping by 55North, as soon as I get off my cruise ship, I come straight here. You can taste that everything is homemade, and it is delicious. I love the bialy breakfast sandwich and biscuits. If you come early enough, definitely order the cinnamon rolls 😍.

Holy smokes, the sourdough bialy chorizo breakfast sandwich is through the roof, sooo good! We ended up buying another one haha. We're just on a cruise stop, but if I lived here, I would be here every day. They open early too, which is perfect if you're in port before 7am like we were.

Best food in Ketchikan, and hard to beat anywhere down south.

Great little place, just far enough away from the pier that cruise guests haven’t found it! Awesome coffee (Cortado ordered) as well as a tasty hot smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel. This will be my coffee place each time we visit!

Had a super yummy vanilla latte while walking to the salmon run. We also had a hot Chocolate and Chai Latte and Hot Chocolate. Everything was delicious! The staff was nice. The location was cozy.

Food and coffee were average, so not worth what they charge. Not a lot of space inside, but a nice patio area.

The food here is fantastic. I remember being blown away with the savage Thai chowder. Recently, after the menu change, I tried it again and was disappointed. It's basically a $20 bowl of rice. Like 90% rice with a few other things thrown in.

What might I say that is fair for this great place? Well in few words might say: "if someday I'll own a business just which it will be looking as much as this one". I like the concept they have about drinks and food. Never got tired of going there, looks like a family business and everybody looks involved in it. Last time didn't have the chance to drink a coffee bcs they was closed due to a celebration which makes me feel they give a importance to their people and that's important. My best wishes for all you guys!!! Hope to see you once again.

Over two days, we ate here three times. The following items were outstanding: drip coffee, cappuccino, cortado, bread & butter w ham and cheese, mushroom soup, thai chowder, biscuit - top notch, different than my homemade, but just as good, the meatloaf was the best I've ever eaten (sorry mom), cinnamon roll, bagel with lox & cream cheese, oatmeal cream cookie, and blueberry muffin. After a week in Southeast Alaska, this is the best food by a significant margin.

Arguably the best place to eat breakfast in town. Very nice people who make quality food.

Wowowowow! Such a cute place and the food!!! So so good!! Just had the Bialy Breakfast Sandwich and have to say it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in Ketchikan. Visiting from NYC and this place is clearly on par. Espresso was strong and tasty.
